Chapter 8: Death 7: Tsuyu Asui
It had been about a week since Izuku's last death. Nothing much had happened other than Izuku confirming that he knew who Aizawa's hero identity was. Though during said confirmation it ended up hurting his reputation with Katsuki and Ochaco even more as it turned Izuku knew a lot of him as a hero. Also Toru had started etching with Izuku, Tenya and Ochaco at lunch.
The four students were back in time also had their first appointments with Hound Dog.
He helped them through, especially since Tenya had discovered the glitch that the robots were hit with meaning Ochaco really was in danger from the Zero Pointer and he started to get nightmares about it.
They were now dealing with and only hoped that Izuku's luck with not dying would stick.
However one day it was time for a more serious Hero Class.
"All right! Today we're going to do learn to do rescue work." Siad Aizawa, "From floods to fires. You're going to learn how to rescue people."
Much of the class was excited.
"I'll do best in water rescue." Siad Asui.
"The class will be thought by myself, All Might and a third teacher." Said Aizawa, "We will also be going to a facility that's a bit further than most of our training grounds so we will also take a bus."
He pressed a button and of course the costume cases emerged.
"You can wear your costumes but be aware you're costumes might not be suited for the scenarios." Siad Aizawa.
Of course all but Izuku decided to go with their costume.
"So you're still waiting for your new costume?" asked Ochaco noticing Izuku was in his gym uniform.
"Yeah they're making it the same design as before but studier materiel." Said Izuku, "Mom understood why I had to switch out my costume."
Ochaco nodded.
"Midoriya! As Class Representative it is your job to make sure the students get on the us easily!" pointed out Tenya.
"Oh… right." Siad Izuku.
He went over to the bus.
"It's an open bus so I don't think we need to get that much organized." Admitted Izuku.
"Oh you're right!" said Tenya, "My mistake!"
And so they got onto the bus and headed to the facility.
During the trip Asui who was sitting next to Izuku.
"Midoriya I speak my mind a lot and I was wondering." Said Asui.
"What is it Asui?" asked Izuku.
"Call me Tsu." Said Asui… well Tsuyu, "You didn't know you had a quirk when you took the exam."
"No…" said Izuku, "I was Quirkless before the exam."
"So you just took the exam despite it." Siad Tsuyu.
"If he wasn't there I would have problems." Sighed Ochaco.
"What?" asked Tsuyu.
"I found out from the teachers that there was a glitch with the zero pointer." Sighed Ochaco.
Tenya fidgeted remembering how he felt when he learned that..
"Plus the you sound it sounds like our old fucking school." Muttered Katsuki.
"What?" asked Tsuyu.
"Last year after we did those several things about what school we wanted to go to, the teacher called out Deku for wanting to go here." Said Katsuki, "The fucker pissed me off."
Plus the fact he had to hear three time, the latter two times unprompted yeah Katsuki came to really hate his old homeroom teacher.
"Is that's like illegal?" a boy with a rather plan face and weird elbows named Hanta Sero.
"It doesn't fucking matter anymore." Muttered Katsuki.
Aizawa groaned realizing that if their teachers would do such a thing that explained some of Izuku's problems.
They soon arrived at the faculty where the class was being held. A large dorm that had a bunch of stuff there.
"No lie's like Universal Studios!" said a lot of the class.
"Hello students!" said voice they turned to a hero in a space sui like costume.
"It's Thirteen!" cheered Ochaco, "She's my favorite hero!"
Izuku nodded in agreement remembering he and his mom got her some thirteen merchandise as housewarming gift for her.
"Welcome to a facility I built, called the Unforeseen Simulation Join or USJ for short!" said Thirteen.
"It is the USJ!" said many students.
"hey Iida!" said Kaminari, "I bet this is the first time you've been to any USJ."
Iida was confused at first but then realized why he was saying that… because of Super Nintendo World…
He face palmed and sighed… he hoped his classmates would forget the scolding anytime soon…
However Aizawa noticed that All Might wasn't there.
"Isn't All Might supposed to be here?" asked Aizawa.
"Yes but he got caught up in something." Siad Thirteen holding up three fingers.
Aizawa knew what it meant as did the five students who knew about his injury, Iida had to hide his expression as Izuku didn't know but still they were exasperated at All Might.
"What did he do?" whispered Ochaco.
"Had a really busy morning." Sighed Izuku.
"I see…" sighed Ochaco.
However even with All Might's absence, Thirteen had some points to make. She gave a speech that while quirks could harm people they were there to learn how to harness them in a way to save people as her won quirk acted like a black hole sucking thing up and turning into dust but she was best known for using her quirk for rescue work.
Once she was done the class applauded.
As they were getting ready for the class suddenly all of the lights went out and strange black void appeared into dome's central plaza and people emerged from.
"Wait are those robots?" asked Kirishima.
"Those are villains!" said Aizawa.
Todoroki realizes that villains knew they were coming and somehow were waiting for them and thought maybe that press break in despite Nezu reassuring them it was only the press that someone actually got into the school and took their schedule.
However something caused the alarms to not works with no way to get in contact with the school.
Aizawa ordered the students to evacuate while he would fight the villains in the central plaza. The students all ran towards the door however they were blocked by the villain who was the cause of the portals, a strange man made entirely of black and purpose mist.
He explained they were the league of Villains and their goal was to kill All Might.
Thirteen was about to use her quirk on him however Katsuki and Kirishima both attacked him.
Which was a bad idea as Thirteen couldn't use her quirk and the villain was able to force them into portals to scatter the students with Tenya managing to grab Ochaco and Sato while Shoji managed to grab Ashido and Sero.
With Izuku he found himself above what was known as the flood zone.
He fell into the water where a shark villain tries to attack him.
But thankfully Tsuyu saved him by kicking the shark man.
She then brought him to the surface and to a boat that was there. Along with Mineta who commented on her breast and she slammed him into the deck.
They were safe for the moment however they knew they had to escape from the from flood zone as there were villain with quirks were good in the water which made Izuku that the villains didn't know their quirks So they shared their quirk even if Izuku already knew Mineta's quirk.
It took Mineta throwing his hair balls into the water that he formed a plan as they didn't know what it could do.
He flicked the water very hard creating a shock wave and trapping the water villains and sticking them together.
However Izuku couldn't help but to be worried and maybe a little cocky so he suggested that they watch the central plaza fight.
At first it wasn't going that back but then they watched as the main villain who was covered in hands grabbed Aizawa's elbow, he watched in horror as Aizawa's skin cracked and turned to dust exposing his muscle.
But Aizawa got away, only to beaten up by a massive villain with an exposed brain and a weird beak.
He stood no chance with the hulking monster.
However the mist villain named Kurogiri appeared and told them had Thirteen was incapacitated but a student had gotten out…
As it turned out it was Iida who did take some convincing but ran to the school.
"Still the main villain who was named Tomura Shigaraki was contemplating that All Might wasn't there, but had an idea to still kill some students.
And he then knew that they were there.
He appeared at the shore where the three were watching and reached out words Tsuyu.
However Izuku pushed her out of the way and took the hit himself.
Tsuyu and Mineta watched in horror as Izuku dissolved into nothing before their eyes in horror.
Tsuyu was frozen horror but Mineta while crying knew he had to do something.
He tossed one his hair balls at his hand (as in his own hands not the ones he wore).
He knew had to get Tsuyu out of there. Thinking back to how Izuku acted on the she; even though the boy died he had to make sure that and Tsuyu didn't.
However as Mineta tried to get Tsuyu to move All Might showed up and he was pissed.
After all students who were on in the second of week of school were getting attacked by villains that wanted to kill him.. He was pissed.
He quickly made his way to the central plaza saving a broken Aizawa from the monster, while also rescuing Minta and Tsuyu.
He noticed the shocked look of Tsuyu and Mineta's crying.
"What's wrong?" asked All Might.
"He killed Midoriya!" cried Mineta.
"What!" yelled All Might with his eye winning in horror.
"That's right All Might!" said Shigaraki, "I killed one of your students and there's no body left behind."
He dusted the hair ball he was holding.
All Might was pissed.
He tried to punch Shigaraki but the monster known as Nomu took the hit instead.
Whatever this thing was it had multiple quirks. It was had Shock Absorption and Regeneration.
All Might even ended up danger as one pointed as Kurogiri trapped All Might in a portal when he cried to Supplex the Nomu.
However some of the students managed to get free, with Todoroki freezing some of the villains and integrating and Katsuki and Kirishima who ended up together.
Tsoureki was able to freeze the Nomu partially trapping and letting All Might escape while Katsuki managed to figure out Kurogiri's body knowing he had to have a psychical shape.
"Thank you boys but you have to leave!" said All Might, "That villain already killed Young Midoriya… and he will think of nothing to kill you too."
"Are you fucking kidding me!" yelled Katsuki.
Todoroki and Tsuyu (despite her shock at Izuku's death did seem to hear it) noticed it was more an annoyed tone and not one of someone angered over a friend's death.
All Might also heard it too and honestly couldn't blame him at his annoyance. Even with his anger.
However the Nomu ripped off his limbs to get out of the ice and tried to attack Katsuki, but All Might saved him and encouraged the three boys to take Tsuyu, Mineta and Aizawa to safety promising them that he would be fine.
As he realizes it was Shock Absorption not Nullification.
He managed to punch the monster many time sending it flying through the dome.
And although he was cutting close his anger gave him power.
He was pushing his time limit to know that the villain though nothing of killing Izuku leaving no body behind he was PISSED.
He able to hold on just enough for ethe other teachers to arrive with a hero named Snipe shooting Shigaraki. (As well as the villain who prevented all of the electronics from working).
No other students had serious injuries.
Though Kaminari reached his limit during the incident, should he reach his limit his brain short circuits and he becomes completely dumb for a short period of time.
Still once most of the class was rescued they had heard about Izuku's and were horribly shocked.
Not only that but Aizawa and Thirteen were taken to the hospital while Toshinori (having reverted after the fight) and Tsuyu were taken to the infirmary.
Inko had heard what happened and went over to Toshinori and cried. There was nothing left to burry after all.
She didn't tell Toshinori this time it wasn't his fault, after all if he hadn't done hero work that morning he could have been there before Izuku died.
She noticed Tsuyu who seemed to be in shock at everything that happened.
She hugged the poor girl assuring that it wasn't her fault that Izuku died having heard that he took the hit.
Tsuyu somewhat snapped out of her shock and hugged her back.
OF course time once again reversed.
Toshinori knew what he had to do… get there in time. So he drove instead of jumping to the school hoping he wouldn't get distracted.
However Tsuyu woke up confused as she had fallen asleep in the infirmary./
She was in her house.
She looked at the phone and saw it was the day before.
As she went to school she wondered if it was a dream.
When she got to school she looked Izuku. She couldn't help but to stare.
"Hey Tsu! Can we talk?" asked Toru.
"Okay…" said Tsuyu unsure why she wanted to talk.
"Hey… do you remember what happened yesterday." Said Toru.
Tsuyu's eyes widened just a little.
"Do you mean the USJ?" asked Tsuyu.
"Yes." Said Toru revealed.
She was really hoping that it was Tsuyu and not Mineta who remembered.
"Do you know why we went back in time?" asked Tsuyu.
"I do but we'll explain later." Sadi Toru, "This isn't exactly the place for it…"
"Does Bakugo remember too?" asked Tsuyu.
"Yeah how did you know?"
"When he found out Midoriya…" said Tsuyu.
She couldn't finished the sentence but managed finish the thoughts without saying that word.
"He sounded extirpated instead of angry or sad." Said Tsuyu.
"Yeah… that sounds about right… he and All Might has been going through this the longest…" sighed Toru.
"All Might remembers?" asked Tsuyu.
"So does Uraraka, Iida and Mr. Aizawa." Said Toru.
"I see." Siad Tsuyu.
"We'll talk more later." Said Toru knowing it was almost time for class.
Tsuyu had to endure classes however at lunch she joined Izuku's group in eating for lunch.
However when it was time to leave to go to the USJ, Aizawa made announcement.
"There is an emergency." Said Aizawa, "There was signs of villain activity in a facility on propriety. All of the teachers are going to handle it. Midoriya, Yaoyorozu as class representatives you are in charge of the class… and make sure nothing happens like starting fires or something…" said Aizawa.,
Everyone sweat dropped at that last sentence.
"Does he really think we'd start fires?" asked Kaminari.
"It's entirely possible." Said Jiro, "Especially you and Bakugo!"
"FUCK YOU!" yelled Katsuki.
Kaminari just shrugged knowing that that his quirk could cause fires.
The class was mostly obviously what was going at the USJ.
That morning Toshinori and Aizawa had informed the entire staff during an emergency meeting that there was going to be an attack on the USJ not telling them how they knew as it was better if they didn't know.
Present Mic and Midnight both saying they knew how they knew and that REALLY didn't want to know how they knew which caused the other teachers to drop it for now.
And so they went to the USJ prepared…
Which completely threw off the villains, with the knowledge of the villain in the mountain zone Midnight and a teacher who could control cement known as Cementoss went to the mountain zone and evilly took care of the villain causing the power outage.
With that out of the Nezu used a control panel to take out villains in the Flood Zone as well as the Fire Zone and Typhoon Zone.
However in the central Plaza with All Might well rested this time he knew how to take out the Nomu and just used the flurry of punches to start out with once again lunching
Shigaraki started screaming and yelling as Kurogiri dragged him away through a portal.
And with the Nomu taken care of and Shigaraki being taken away by Kurogiri the rest of the villains were trivially easy for the heroes/teachers.
When they got back the class was relieved that Aizawa was uninjured.
Especially those that remembered the previous timeline.
After school thankfully Izuku had some class representative stuff he had to due to the attack so the others were free to have a meeting without him noticing.
Of course All Might showed off that he was Toshinori as well injury first thing so he didn't have to hold on to his All Might form the entire time. While both of them were in the infirmary she hadn't seen Toshinori the previous day thanks to a privacy curtain.
"That's why you were so late to class." Siad Tsuyu.
"Yes…" said Toshinori.
"If he hadn't done a ton hero work before school he could have handled that thing without breaking a sweat." Muttered Katsuki .
Toshinori sighed especially since that's what happened this time around.
And so they explained to her about Izuku's quirk.
She was surprised but her main concern was something else.
"You're just going to hide from him?" asked Tsuyu.
"It sound bad however there is a very good reason for it…" sighed Tenya.
Of course she was suspired that this was his fourth time dying by sacrificing his life to save another.
Knowing that she understood.
"So you're worried if learns about it, he'll kill himself if something goes wrong so that we can fix whatever went wrong." Sighed Tsuyu.
"It fucking sucks but until Deku stop being a fucking martyr he can't know about this,." Siad Katsuki.
"Fine… you do have a point… but I don't like it." Said Tsuyu.
"It's okay…" said Ochaco, "I don't like it either."
As it turned out the next couple of day they were given days off because of the security breach so they could figure anything out.
Word had gotten out about the attack but that it was quickly cleared up so it didn't really get that much attention from anyone.
However in an unknown location two figures talked. For they were the ones behind Shigaraki. While Shigaraki ranted and raved about how the heroes had some sort of cheat code and "All Might somehow knew we were coming."
"Do you think he has betrayed us?" asked one of the figures.
"No… but I can't help but to feel like there is a quirk at work." Said the other figure who was rotund man with a bushy mustache, "There might be a grain of truth to Tomura's ranting about a cheat code and All Might knowing…"
"I see… hopefully what that quirk is it should be interesting." Siad the other figure.
The other figure nodded, knowing that there had to be something more going on…
With both of them unsure if they would find out soon or not…
But one thing was for sure, whoever they were, they were dangerous…
Next Time: Aizawa announces the sports festival is happening soon. Toshinori deicides to talk to Izuku about it... and also realizes that might be a good time for a way to explain One for All to Tenya, Tsuyu and Toru. What else could happen? Find out next time.
A/N: If you're wondering why I didn't make the USJ a multi-death loop it's quite simple: It wouldn't make any two teachers having gone back in time, Nezu and few other teachers knowing about the time travel, so it would make sense for them to handle the USJ without any problems. The league was thinking that they were going to go up against a bunch of kids and a couple heroes not a whole bunch of them. So yeah... it didn't make any sense this time... but in the future... don't worry there will be muti-death loops... I promise... this was just one that didn't make any sense.
