Rosaria loathed confessional. Sitting on one side of the box while someone poured out their heart's sorrows wasn't exactly her cup of tea. Everybody seemed to think they had it rough. They came here seeking absolution when they could go get it for themselves. Draff often lamented his alcoholism. Well, he could cut back on his drinking whenever he wanted. Jean confessed she didn't think she did enough for Mondstadt when anyone could see she did. It was so tedious.

As her next guest entered the box, Rosaria followed the script as usual.

"What is your sin, my child?"

"Rosaria? Is that you?"

Turning to the screen, she spotted the astrologist Mona staring back.

She offered her a smile. Mona didn't return it. She sat there, wringing out her pigtails.

"You're on duty today?"

"The other sisters are out," she explained.

"O-oh."

"If you're uncomfortable speaking to me, I suppose you could wait till the next confessional."

"N-no. I need to get this off my chest."

Rosaria sighed. Well, there went her best chance of closing up early.

The astrologist swallowed.

"So, um…remember when I did divinations for everyone when we thought there might be a cheater in the UHA? Well, I learned things about the others. Concerning things."

"If you're about to tell me about Yae Miko's sex history, don't."

"Well, that was shocking. But no, that's not it. One of our members is…well, was… a very bad person. I've been keeping her secret from everyone but it's eating me up every day. Because what if one day she snaps and decides to kill all of us?"

Rosaria frowned, wondering who Mona could be talking about. It was no secret that Arlecchino must've done terrible things as a Fatui Harbinger. Ei and Kokomi committed war crimes, Jeht and Katarina killed a lot of people, and Yae Miko was Yae Miko. Still, Rosaria couldn't imagine any of them snapping.

Stop it, she reminded herself, my duty is hearing confessions, not investigations. No sense in making more work for herself than necessary. Not now, anyways.

Rosaria asked, "Does Tubby know?"

"Yes," said Mona. "She seems to think it will be okay."

"Has the person in question done anything to suggest wicked intent?"

"No. Honestly, she's been pretty tame."

"What's stopping you from telling anyone?"

"Remember what Eula said about redemption—that a just society should let everyone work towards it? I guess, it doesn't feel right to cast judgment. She deserves a chance."

"I understand," said Rosaria. "If that's how you feel, stick to it."

Rosaria went through some prayers with Mona and then absolved her in the name of the Anemo Archon Barsatobas. Mona thanked Rosaria and departed. Meanwhile, the nun found her thoughts wandering. Ignoring a potential threat within the UHA could prove unwise. She'd best confront Tubby about this as soon as she could.

The confessional booth opened. Rosaria saw it was Mona back again.

"Something else to confess?"

"Yes," she said. "My divinations revealed that another member has by far the most bizarre sexual habits that they've recorded in a journal. Thinking about half the things I've seen makes me sick. I can barely eat anymore."

"I told you; I'm not interested in Yae Miko's sex life."

"It's not her," said Mona. "It's…Sucrose."

"The junior alchemist? I don't see how hers could be so bad."

"She makes Aether take a potion that changes him into a woman and then takes a potion that gives her a phallus."

Rosaria was speechless. Seriously? Shy little Sucrose pulled a gender bender for lovemaking? Honestly, she never would've guessed. That sounded like something Yae Miko, Lisa, Hu Tao, or Mirror Maiden would do, not sweet Sucrose.

"I mean," Rosaria said slowly, "if that's what she likes."

"There's more," she said. "She's used the dream space Yae Miko made to umm make clones of herself and Aether for big sex parties. She's even dabbled in scat."

"Oh crap."

"Exactly. So unsanitary. The things she does to perfectly good bananas—"

"I'm going to stop you right there," said Rosaria. "I'm off the clock now."

"But what about my trauma?!"

"Right, go see Arlecchino and ask for a dosage of pale flame or whatever so you can erase that part of your memory. Excuse me, I need to go throw up."

Rosaria sprinted out of the cathedral, found a trashcan, and regurgitated her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Then, she made the trip to Arlecchino for that memory-erasing flame. She did not want to live with this horrible memory that had completely defiled her image of Sucrose.
