Janeway and Chakotay are in a relationship and Kathryn has to tell him something but an old enemy attacks Voyager. He wants revenge. He plans on making her suffer and wants the crew to witness it.

Janeway/Seven closure fic: Post-Endgame. After bringing her ship and crew safely home and before everybody scattering and going their own way, Janeway realizes two things. One, she is no longer Seven's Captain and so, is free to pursue more intimate relationships with her. Two, it might be too late as Chakotay seems to have gotten there first.

Returning to Earth isn't the end of the journey for Seven of Nine. With the help of friends, both old and new, she finds her way home and discovers that sometimes even the Borg are only human. (Written September 2001)
