Next day, early morning.

After a night of celebration for Lissa's and Robin's engagement, and a morning of curing lots of hangovers, I decided to give the Shepherds the morning off, today, after noon, I will be sparring with them, to see where they are and what we need to improve on.

Of course, this is also, their first taste of facing someone beyond their power level, a little test for them to see, what it feels to face someone of my level, something that will teach them some very good lessons and make them understand themselves a little bit better.

But right now, it is early in the morning and I decided to spend my off time with my Pokémon, so, I went to gather them, gave them some snacks, play with them and gave them some love and care.

I hadn't had the time to do so for a while after all, but the Pokémon understand that I had been busy, still, it wasn't fair to make them wait for me to spend time with them for too long, sure, I hang out with them often and give them a headpat here and there.

Or show them I care by giving them a treat or something, but I need to spend time with them, so, that's how I found myself, in my Dragon form, with all my Pokémon piled on top of me and taking a nap, how did this happen? well, it seems like my Pokémon have taken a liking to riding on my back when I'm in my Dragon Form.

Though, Latias chose to lay on my head and nap there, honestly, I find it both amusing and adorable, even the big Legendary Pokémon are on my back and napping there, suddenly I heard a few footsteps and I opened my eyes to see most of the female Shepherds appeared into the clearing I chose to hang out with my Pokémon.

All of them smiled in amusement when they caught sight of me with all my Pokémon on my back, though Lissa giggled and seemed far more amused at the sight, I of course, just rolled my eyes at her and huffed at her direction, which caused her to squeak and fall on her butt.

The other girls laughed the Princess's predicament, while Lissa groaned in pain and sent me a pout, Sumia walked over to me and patted my face with a soft smile on her face, "looks like we caught you relaxing with your Pokémon Rean, sorry about that".

I smiled at Sumia and then said, "it's fine, I'm just spending some time with them, they certainly deserve the attention after always helping us, but what about you guys? what are you up to with your off time?".

Sumia turned her head towards the rest of the female Shepherds and smiled, "well, we were hoping to play, groom and spent some time with your Pokémon, it seemed like the best way to spend our off time".

That actually makes a lot of sense, nothing is more relaxing than spending time with Pokémon, whether that is, while playing with them or just giving them a cuddle or hug, you alway feel great after doing so.

So, I nodded and then went about waking my Pokémon, it took a few tries and a few shakes of my body to stir them uo from their sleep, but eventually, they woke up and were more than happy to spend some time being pampered, by the female Shepherds, deciding to join in the fun, I took on my human form and joined in playing and grooming my Pokémon.

We gave them a scrub and a wash, groomed some of them and even gave them some accessories, just for fun, after that, we just spend time with all of them, that's how I found myself scratching Latias' head, while she cheerfully hummed and rested her head on my lap.

Emmeryn, who was petting my Kantonian Meowth giggled, as she saw my Psychic and Dragon Type Pokémon practically purring, "you know, most wouldn't think so at first glance, but your very gentle and kind Rean".

I raised an eyebrow at Emmeryn's comment, it certainly came out of nowhere, but it did intrigued me that she saw me that way, "you think so? despite the fact that you seen what I'm capable of?"

Emm nodded, "of course, sure, it can be intimidating to see you use you power and easily kill hundreds, but I know you do things for a reason your not a cruel person, plus you've been nothing but kind and supporting of us, when you clearly didn't have too".

I smiled and then began to rub my hand on Latias' neck, which got her to roll over so I can get to the front of her neck, "I'm a selfish Dragon Emmeryn, I don't go out of my way to help just anyone, im not a Hero after all, I care about the Shepherds and Ylisse, it's only because of that, that I help so much".

Emmeryn giggled and shook her head, "you have a funny way of showing your selfish Rean~".

I scoffed at Emmeryn and shook my head at her as well, leave it to her to point things like that, just to prove a point, "smart ass".

Emmeryn just laughed and went bat to petting my Kantonian Meowth, meanwhile, Lissa suddenly walked over to me, while hugging my Galarian Meowth in her arms, "hey Rean! shouldn't the Meowth be ready to evolve yet?".

Huh? not that she mentions it, she's right, it's been a while since I've summoned them, and they have be getting exp from all the battles I and my other Pokémon have been involved in, thanks to my Exp Share skill, I quickly checked their stats and saw that they were past level 300 already.

That surprise me a bit, I didn't expect them to have reach that high of a level, but then I remembered that all level limits were broken for my Pokémon, when I became a Dragon God back in Danmachi, still, Lissa was right, all my new Pokémon seem ready to evolve, however, out of the Meowth variations I summoned.

I will be only evolving my Kantonian Meowth and my Galarian Meowth, my Alolan Meowth will be staying as is, I never really like the design of the Alolan Persian anyways, and thanks to the limit break on my Pokémon level, my Alolan Meowth won't be left behind.

So I gave a nod to Lissa, letting her know that she was correct, "your right, they're ready to evolve, do you want to see?".

Lissa excitedly smile and nodded very fast, it startled my Galarian Meowth quite a bit too, which was funny to see, I chuckled at the scene and then open my Gamer System, I mentally clicked on the Pokémon list and then began to pick the Pokémon I wanted to evolve.

My Kantonian Meowth, Galarian Meowth, Skitty, Purrloin, Kantonian Ponyta, Mudbray and Blitzle began to shine brightly with a silver light, Lissa immediately put down the Meowth she had been holding and watched in awe as the Pokémon evolve.

Sumia who was grooming Ponyta gasped as the Pokémon's silhouette began to grow, suddenly, the light around the evolving Ponyta dispersed into showers of sparkles, revealing the Pokémon's new form.

Ponyta had become a Rapidash now, a beautiful fire type Pokémon, one that had Sumia in awe, the Meowth Lissa had put down, become a Perrserker and Lissa wasted not time in hugging the Viking looking Pokémon, while saying tha he was very fluffly, which only got her a sigh from Perrserker, one of amusement.

How is it that Perrserker's fur is so fluffy, even when he's a Steel Type? don't really know, in fact, I just put that fact under, Pokémon Shenanigans and left it alone.

My Perrseker, is a Pokémon I hadn't seen before, one from Pokémon Sword and Shield, a game that had just come out, when I died, but I didn't get a chance to play it or even know almost anything about it, I did know that this Region Variant, was a Steel Type, thanks to clips in the internet.

So seeing this new version of Persian, or at least I think that's what it is, made me curious, so I decided to called on my trusty partner for situations like this, "Rotom, come here a second please".

Rotom, came floating down from the tree where he had been watching everything happening and gleefully floated to me, Rotom is possessing an Alolan Pokédex, so he doesn't battle, though he still levels up, thanks to my Exp Share skill.

But he is a bit shy, in fact, only Kaede, Kunou, Weine and I have been allowed to touch him, so he usually stays out of sight and takes pictures of everything happening during my travels and world jumping.

All to show the girls back home the worlds I visit, the people I met and all the cool things I do, Rotom immediately raised his little hand and then cheerfully began to speak, [bzzt! what can you help you with, Rean!.]

I smiled at my Rotomdex and then told him what ai wanted to know, "can you give me the information on Galarian Meowth's evolution?".

Rotom nodded and wasted no time in doing what I requested, he soon scanned the new evolution and then showed me a picture of it on his screen, Rotom then quickly began to recite the information outloud, [Perrserker, the Viking Pokémon, a Steel Type.

Perrserker is a bipedal feline Pokémon, unlike Persian, Perrserker remains bipedal and has a body shape similar to what it had as a Meowth.

The hair on its head and parts of its limbs have hardened into natural armor, the former takes the shape of a stereotypical horned Viking helmet that covers its ears and part of its eyes while also incorporating its coin.

Perrserker's claws have grown longer and harder as well and can come together to form daggers that it can use to fight its foes more effectively.

Perrserker has a violent and barbaric demeanor, and it lives for the thrill of battle, it and Persian have a relationship characterized by mutual disdain on account of the irreconcilable differences in their respective temperaments.]

Huh, interesting, I turned my head toward Perrseker and Persian, who was not being petter by Emmeryn, but didn't see any disdain from them, Persian just licked her paws and grinned at him, while Perrserker gave her a toothy grin, I guess, because they both spent so much time together as my Pokémon.

They never developed the usual temperaments in their species, that was a good thing, I really didn't want to deal with any of my Pokémon being at each others throat, Rotom soon sat on my shoulder and smiled after giving me the information on Perrserker, I just let him rest there, while I checked on my other Pokémon.

Blitzle became a Zebstrika, a very beautiful and fierce looking Pokémon, Sully was already patting his neck and grinning at him, Skitty evolved into a Delcatty a cute cat Pokémon that had Maribelle squealing in delight and hugging her tightly, Delcatty didn't seem to mind the huh though, I fact she was cheerfully smiling.

Purrloin evolved into Liepard, a very gorgeous and elegant looking Pokémon, but one, that as a Dark Type Pokémon, can be very vicious and cruel, I'm sure Tharja will like meeting Liepard.

And finally, Mudbray evolve into Mudsdale, a very powerful Ground Type Pokémon and one that looks impressive to boot too, physically, this Pokémon is very powerful.

Too bad its often overlooked, but I liked it and even trained one when I played Pokémon Ultra Sun, the Shepherds females all crowed around the newly evolved Pokémon and began to pet them.

Suddenly I felt someone eyes on me, I immediately knew who it was so I just sighed and spoke up, "Tharja, if your curious, you could just go there and see".

Tharja appeared from the very shadows of a tree, though she seemed surprised for some reason, "you could still find me? even though I was within the shadows?".

I nodded and turned my head towards her, "you forget, Giratina is alway in my shadows, so I got good at sensing things hiding within the shadows, I guess Giratina showed you how to Shadow travel huh?"

Tharja nodded and moved her gaze toward my shadow, Giratina eyes glowed for a few moments, causing her to smile, she then moved her gaze back to me, "I can't do what she does, but I can imitate it with my Dark Magic to some extent.

I can't move around and I have to stay still, but it is a great spell for hiding, so far, your the only one who has been able to find me".

Well, that's actually pretty good, the only reason I knew Tharja was there, was because I could feel her gaze on me, this so quite the useful spell, the Dark Mage walked over and then stood at my side.

I closed my eyes and then decided to ask her a question, "how are you doing with the rest of the Shepherds? you getting along with them?".

Tharja nodded, "yes, I admit, at first I was wary and a bit hesitant to... hang out? or even speak to them, but training and fighting along side them, showed me that they're good people.

They fought and even protected me while we were inside the Labyrinth too, not many do that, my character puts people off it seems... though, I do enjoy being cruel, hehe".

I nodded amd gently smiled, I'm happy she's getting along with everyone and trying to get along with the Shepherds, "that's great, anyone caught your interest yet?".

Tharja turned her head towards me and raised an eyebrow at my question, "that's a sudden question...".

I shrugged at her inquiry to my question, honestly, I'm just curious if she's interested in anyone yet, "I'm just curious, you didn't seem like one of make friends, but look at you now.

Plus, with Robin's and Lissa's engagement, I've become curious of who of the Shepherds will get together next".

Tharja nodded, she then looked up and began to speak, "I've been spying on the others for a while now, I know Nowi and Donnel have been spending a lot of time together, Maribelle is definitely attracted to Vaike.

Don't know why, must be that 'I like a bad boy' thing, it think it started when Vaike saved her from a bunch of Ogres in the Labyrinth, then there's Panne and Gaius.

She seemed to have opened up to him and they both spend a lot of time together now, mostly eating candy or trying new foods, Stahl and Cordelia seem to be also heading in that direction as well, but I think Virion and Miriel will be the ones who will get hitched next".

I couldn't help but sweatdropped at Tharja's confession that she had been spying on everyone, but that was some good information, honestly Miriel and Virion do seem like they are heading in that direction, after all Miriel already has Virion doing whatever she wants.

Still, she didn't answer my question, Tharja opened her eyes and then turned her head towards me, it seems like she knew what I was thinking, because she decided to now answer my question, "no guy has interested me yet, but who knows?.

You said it best, I'm not one to make friends, but look at me now, maybe someone will pick me off my feet some day, but I'm not really holding my breath on that either, besides, I'm very busy observing my Dragon Lord at the moment, hehe".

I sighed and shook my head, hopefully, one of the guys here can sweep Tharja off her feet, maybe then, she'll stop stalking me, though I doubt it, she's devoted to me as a Deity, not as a person, though, this Tharja seems more mellow and less crazy than the one in the game.

Maybe it's because she's focused on me instead of Robin, or perhaps it's because she's spending so much time with my Pokémon and learning from them, heck, it could be because, here, in my Pokéhome, no one judges her, The Xeno and the Warrior Bunnies accept her for who she is.

Sure, Tharja might be sadistic, cruel and a bit crazy, but she's not a bad person, she just has quirks just like everyone else does and besides, all her bad habits have never been directed in us, so, in the end, I'm happy of the changes in her.

After a while and way past noon, the Shepherds gathered in a big open grassland area, outside Xeno Town, there they met up.with me, ready for anything that I might have prepared for them, in reality, I don't have anything complicated planned, all I'm going to do, is personally see how much they have all improved, while I was busy with the Bandit situation.

Plus, I want to see how they deal with facing someone way beyond their power, see if they can handle it or if we need more time to prepare, I don't know what Grima is planning, but I have no doubt, that it's going to be both big and dangerous.

So I don't want the Shepherds to get caught off guard by any surprise the Fell Dragon throws at us, so I need the Shepherds to be ready, so when they all arrived and got ready I nodded at them and began to explain, "alright, today your all sparring with me".

The Shepherds were a bit surprised of course, but to their credit not by much, they knew I had something special planned for today, just not something like sparring with me, still, they all nodded and took out their weapon, Chrom then stepped forward and said, "how do you want to do this? what are the rules?".

I smiled at Chrom and shook my head, "no rules, just try to survive as long as you can, let's see just how much you guys have improved so far".

All the Shepherds began to nervously sweat, no rules meant that I was not going to particularly hold back in this spar, and they knew that, which made them feel rather nervous, Robin nervously laughed and then piped in, "well... despite the all consuming dread we're all feeling, this is a rather good learning experience".

I nodded to Robin in agreement, "that's right, you guys have no experience fighting overwhelming forces, well except when you fought against the Dragonic Risen, but even then, you had my Pokémon helping you.

This spar will let you guys get used to fighting overwhelming odds and not panic due to fear, shock or pain, plus it will also give you the chance to try any new techniques or spells you have been working on, so take advantage of that as well".

Everyone nodded agreeing with the reason behind this spar, sure, it might be a daunting endeavor to face someone like me, but they seem rather ready to face me, not confident or sure of themselves, just ready.

I guess, fighting in the Labyrinth and facing all sorts of monsters and situations has given them a more headstrong way of thinking, which is a good thing, a very good thing.

Chrom suddenly chuckled and then said, "now that I think about it, I don't think we have ever sparred against you Rean, at least, not this seriously, I must admit, I have been wanting to face you at least once, just to see how powerful you really are".

I smiled at Chrom in amusement, "is that so? well, your getting your wish today Chrom, just be ready for some pain!".

Chrom nodded, Tione and Tiona then walked up to the group along with the Healers in my Pokémon team, Tiona waved at everyone and then announced something to them, "alright guys! Blissey, Audino, Comfey and the Indeedee couple will be in charge of healing and reattaching limbs! so don't be afraid of getting wild!".

Everyone sweatdropped at what Tiona just so casually said, but she just smiled at everyone without a care in the world, Tione then went on, "Tiona and I will Resurrect anyone who dies, so you can all fight without a worry".

Emmeryn deadpannd and shook her head, "there's a lot to worry about in that statement alone...".

Everyone nodded in agreement, but Tione just waved her hand dismissively, not really seeing the problem, I just chuckled in amusement at the whole thing, but then decided to get this show on the road, "okay, with that said, we should begin, remember everyone, fight with everything you have!".

The Shepherds shook their head to clear their thoughts and got ready, as they all pointed their weapons at me or began to chant their magic, Chrom whispered to Robin before they all attacked, "what do you reckon our chances are?".

Robin shook his head and said, "not very good...".

Chrom sighed but nodded, "yeah, I thought so too... oh well, might as well and see how this goes! keep an eye on the battle Robin and begin formulating plans!".

Robin nodded and got ready, "right! becareful Chrom, Rean wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't going to hold back much".

Chrom frowned but nodded, he then shouted at the Shepherds, "all right everyone! follow up on everyone's movement and attack Rean in waves, just like how we fight against the Bosses in the Labyrinth!".

Everyone nodded and Chrom then sighed, he quickly took a big breath and turned to look towards me, I had been waiting a bit for them to get ready and plan out, but that's it, Chrom seemed to have noticed that, so he gave me a grin and a nod.

With that out of the way, Chrom then rushed forward with Falchion at the ready, he certainly has gotten fast, if I was any normal guy, I would have lost sight of him in an instant, but I was anything but normal and thus, I was able to follow his movements easily.

He appeared in front of me in blur, and slashed with Falchion in a downward slash, but I quickly side stepped the attack and avoided, Chrom immediately shifted his stance and then took a swipe at me with a side slash.

His attack didn't even make it half way to me, before I caught his wrist, lifted him off the ground and flipped him in mid air, he screamed in surprise, only to be cut off by a spinning kick to the chest by me.

Chrom grunted in pain and was set ragdolling away from me, I would have chased after him, but instead, I had to slap away two Javelins sent my way by Sumia and Cordelia, both weren't riding their Pegasus, they must not wanted them to get hurt.

Plus, I can fly, so their advantage wouldn't have matter much against me, still, even without their steeds, they're were still excellent Spearmen, but I didn't get any more time to think more of them, as I had to moved my head to the side to dodge an Arrow sent my way by Virion.

Suddenly, Sumia, Cordelia and Virion began to throw Javelins and shoot arrows at me nonestop and at an impressive speed too, but I quickly slapped them all away, Vaike and Lon'qu rushed forward, while I was busy slapping projectiles away from me, Vaike jumped up and then came down, while slashing down with his axe, at me.

I stepped back and dodge the attack and then spun around to dodge a series of fast sword slashes from Lon'qu, he narrowed his eyes at me and then engulfed his sword with Wind mid swing.

Causing wind slashes to fly towards me, that was pretty impressive actually, to be able to do an Elemental Infusing mid attack takes practice, but that wasn't going to work on me, I quickly jumped over the wind slashes and then fell knee first onto the top of Lon'qu's head.

He was not expecting such a counter attack, so he was completely caught off guard and took the brunt of my attack, he grunted and then fell to the ground while bleeding from the head, I quickly jumped away from him.

Only for Vaike to try and tackle me down, I grinned and then engulfed my leg with Fire Type Energy, igniting it in flames, before Vaike could even reach me, I swiftly caught him with a spinning Blaze Kick to the side of the body.

He gasped and grunted in pain before my Fire Type attack detonated and sent him flying away from the explosion that followed, Emmeryn, Robin and Miriel were about ready cast their magic spells.

Looks like they were preparing some very powerful and destructive spells, too bad I wasn't about to let them cast their magic, I took a big breath and then unleashed a powerful and loud Screech attack.

The sound based attack, made them scream in pain and cover their ears in pain, stopping them from finishing their spells, however, Ricken was away from those three and finished his spell, a massive green Cyclone materialized below me and then engulfed me within its sharp winds.

Pretty smart, send a magic caster away from the group, that way, if one group fails, the one mage can at least finish casting their spell and give the others time to recover and prepare.

I have to give them credit for that one strategy, and Ricken is particularly fast at casting Wind Magic, a very good decision, suddenly, Nowi roared in her Dragon Form and lashed out at me with her tail engulfed in a torrent of water.

I smiled seeing the combo they were trying to get me with, the Cyclone spell is a high level Wind Spell that traps the target inside a fast moving wind Cyclone, usually, the target would be ripped to pieces, but me? there's no way that spell would hurt me.

Instead of wanting to cause me damage with the spell, what Ricken tried to do, is hold me down for a bit, so Nowi could have a clear shot at me with her Aqua Tail attack.

I good combo and plan, but not one that would work well against me, a fact proven true when I teleported myself above Nowi and pointed my hand towards her, she must have sensed me because she quickly looked up and widen her eyes at me.

I just smiled at began to gather a massive amount of Lighting type energy into my hand and then unleashed a massive Thunderbolt attack at Nowi, she panicked and tried to engulfed her body with Ground Type Energy, but she was too slow and got blasted by my Thunderbolt attack head on.

She roared on pain and a few seconds later she fell to the ground groaning in pain, I landed on her belly, which got her to grunt a bit, but I ignored that and pointed my finger at Ricken, who flinched and tried to jump away, but I quickly caught him with Psychic.

He screamed as my Psychic type attacked began to crush him, but then I threw him towards Virion, who was getting ready to shoot an arrow at me, at the same time, Gaius tried to sneak attack me.

But, I both heard and sensed him sneaking my way a while ago, so when he tried to stab me in the back, I twirled around his sword and then hit him in the ribs with a Mach Punch.

The high speed punch caused a crack from his ribs to echoed through the area, while he gasped and then coughed up some blood, I quickly grabbed him by the nape of his clothes and threw him aside and out of my way.

Just in time too, because, Stahl, Sully and Frederick appeared around me in blurs and jabbed their Spears towards me at the same time in an effort to both stab me and hold me down, I quickly jumped up and away from the thrusts.

I immediately spread my Dragonic wings and engulfed them with Dragon Type Energy, soon after, I flapped them hard towards the three Knights, unleashing a Twister attack right on top of them.

All three Knights screamed as they were caught in my Dragon Type attack and then dragged away from me, suddenly, a voice called out a spell I wasn't expecting, "Pow Hammer!".

A red squeaky toy materialized above me and then dropped on my head, making a funny squeaky sound, I of course deadpanned at who had casted the spell, Lissa just shrugged and giggled, "what? I really wanted to try that spell and you told us to try new spells and techniques right?".

Ah, she got me there, I did say that, however, I watched as Maribelle was healing the downed Shepherds along with Emmeryn, so the Spell was a distraction, well, looks like this spar was just getting started.

Phew, took me a bit finish this chapter, but I made it!
