I'm sorry I was late for updating tonight guys and for not announcing anything today, I usually do so, on Twitter, Pat Reon and Discord, but today, I found my dad on the ground when I got home from work, appearantly he fell down and couldn't get up, so he spent all day on the ground until I got back home and it broke my heart, he's okay now and he's sleeping, thanks to someone who donated today, I was able to get him some painkillers for the fall and some good food to recover his strength.

I was only able to work on my stories until late in the day, so that's why I'm a bit late, anyways, I hope all of you enjoy the action in this chapter, the Digimon Adventure Arc, is coming to its end soon, so let see what happens with them right now!.

Chapter 72.

I must admit, using a Spell like Pow Hammer to distract me was a good idea, it did buy a few seconds for the Shepherds, Lissa might have play it as a joke or a prank, but that's all an act, all to keep my attention on her, it's the kind of plan that would work on anyone, except me or any one in my family or my Pokémon.

Lissa, might think she has me distracted, but I'm well aware of my surroundings, Aura Sense allows me to keep track of everything on the battle field within my mind, so even though I was deadpanning at Lissa, I could still see Maribelle and Emmeryn running around trying to heal and have the Shepherds on their feet as fast as possible.

Which makes me wonder, where is Libra is and why isn't he healing everyone, oh wait, he's buffing everyone with magic, nice, but before I could actually look into what spells Libra was using, Lissa began to cast a spell, this one wasn't a low leve one like Pow Hammer, no, this one is a Holy Lance, A master level Spell.

Unfortunately for Lissa, I wasn't planning on letting her finish casting her Spell, I smiled and then open my mouth, unleashing a Smog, attack from my mouth into the surrounding area Lissa's eyes widen in surprise, since she obviously didn't expect such an attack from me.

So she did even get the time to move, before the purple cloud of Poison Type Energy engulfed her, she immediately began to violently cough and hack in both pain and desperation, I bet she can't breathe very well right now.

Suddenly, a massive Thunderbolt Spear raced through the smoke, splitting it apart and dissipating my Smog attack, it then rushed towards me, only to be caught by my hand, where it struggled for a bit, before I crushed it.

Robin grinned at me, when he saw me catch his Spell, which I belive, was an overcharged version of Thoron, a spell from this world, though given how much more powerful Robin is now and how he can control his Mana to a high extent, I'm not surprised he was able to modify this Spell to this extent.

Fire Emblem Magic is powerful, but they act more like grenades of rising power that actual Spells, given just how limited the spells are and how many time you can actually use a Tome to cast it, it really isn't the best kind of Magic around.

Sure, it was a cheap and fast way to bring some much needed bangs and booms to the Battlefield, but they weren't the best Spells I've seen, something Robin figured out by watching the Magic I have at my disposal.

So, besides learning to cast my type of Magic, he learned advanced forms of Mana Control from me and then he passed it down to the rest of the Spell casters of the Shepherds, though, while they were happy with just learning how to control their Mana better and the Spells I know.

Robin decided to take a step back and went back to the basics, starting with figuring out how to use the Magic of the Tomes, without said Tomes and from there he began to experiment with them, now, instead of just Magical Grenades, he has Magical Cannons, massive Magic Blasts and the goddamn Rail Gun of a spell, he just tried to hit me with.

All the while grinning at me, like a proud loon, so I did what I thought best, I gathered Ground Type Energy into my hand and then hit him in the face with a Sand Attack, Robin immediately stopped grinning and instead he began to sputter and cry about sand getting in his face, eyes and mouth, while cursing me out.

I would have laughed at his predicament, but Tharja suddenly fired off a black purple spell at me, I quickly gathered Holy Light into my hand and immediately slapped away the Spell, whatever that thing was, it was nasty, I could feel the Energy of the Pokémon attack Will o Wisp, but within it, it also had some very nasty curses in it.

The Spell will burn you, sure, but the flames would eat away at your Mana, Stamina and then your soul, it was a Sure Kill Spell one that the Dark Mage seems to have created on her own from what she has been learning from my Pokémon, Tharja clicked her tongue at me, for having failed in hitting me with her self made Dark Magic Spell.

I raised an eyebrow at her, both in chagrin and at her way of attacking, "not a bad Spell, it's certainly a nasty curse, what was your plan? burn away at my Mana and Stamina until I can't move?".

Tharja nodded, but didn't say anything else, I guess her plan was to weaken me, to bad that even, if her Spell had hit, it wouldn't have affected me, not because I'm immune to such dark Magic, nor because it would be impossible to burn away at my Mana and Stamina, but because I have Avalon in its bracelet form on my wrist.

But Tharja doesn't need to know that, though she looked resigned now, but she didn't wait long to say why, "your going to hit me with something nasty now, aren't you?".

I smiled and nodded at her, confirming what she just asked me, of course I was going to return fire, I raised a finger and then hit Tharja with a Spore Attack, she didn't expect the soft green dust to hit her in the face, so she fell asleep right away and dropped to the ground, I then hit her with Nighmare attack and walked away while she began to toss and turn.

I saw that Robin had recovered and was now glaring at me, but I gathered more Ground Type Energy into my foot and then tapped the ground with my toes, a Mud Slap attack fired from the ground in front of Robin and smacked him straight in the face, making him go back to sputtering and cursing out again.

Suddenly a barrage of Pink Petals rushed towards me, I immediately recognized the Petal Dance attack, and watched as Olivia pounced towards me sword at the ready, while dancing and being surrounded by Pink Flower Petals.

Olivia took a while to warm up to me, appearantly she's the nervous sort, and her seeing me in my Dragon Form left her with a very scary picture of me in her mind, her finding out that I'm a Dragon God and that I was letting the Shepherds hang out, in what was practically is, my Godly Domain, made her even more nervous as well.

But eventually, as she saw how I was with all the Shepherds showed her, that I'm not really a bad guy, my Pokémon also helped calm her down, nothing better than a cuddle buddy in my Pokémon for you to relax.

So, when we started training, we were able to see how Olivia fights and it was a very beautiful thing to see, Olivia's sword style, is all about momentum and constant movement.

She technically danced around her opponents and cut them to ribbons, however, it did leave her open, while she was dancing and building momentum, something she seemed to have fixed by adding Petal Dance to her Sword Play.

By doing this, she could keep moving, building momentum and attacking at the same time, while her Petal Dance protect her from all her open sides, a very smart way to combine her sword play with a Pokémon move, but, again, that sort of thing doesn't work on someone like me.

I gathered a bit of Grass Type Energy into my body and then send it to the ground below me, while I kept jumping back and away from Olivia, suddenly, she squeaked in surprise and then faceplanted the ground hard.

She groaned in pain and then looked at her feet, she widen her eyes when she saw her foot tangled, with glowing long grass, she then looked up at me and gave me the saddest tear filled look I have ever seen in my life.

Holy shit, it made me feel bad for using Grass Knot on her, that look should be illegal, still, she did good, so I knelt down and gave her a headpat, "your sword play and dancing has improved by a lot, good job".

Olivia dried her almost dropping tears with her arm and then smiled at me, she then went to grab my leg and yelled, "I got him!".

I deadpanned at this situation and the sighed, "damn it... tricked by the good old, crying damsel in distress... I'm almost proud...".

I didn't get to say or do anything else, before Panne, in her Bunny form, crashed into me at full speed with a tackle, while being engulfed in a enormous amount of Normal Type Energy, Olivia eeped as I was ripped from her grip, Panne pushed me back and then threw me away from her and into a group of trees.

I felt the trees brake apart as soon as they collided against my back, but other than being a bit surprised, I really didn't feel anything, still, Panna hit me with a Giga Impact, that was pretty impressive actually, the fact thats shes trong enough to use such a powerful Pokémon Move, shows how strong shes gotten, quickly twirl in mid air and planted my feet into the ground.

I soon stopped my momentum and quickly looked up to see Donnel dropping from high in the air and Spear first towards me, I jumped back and soon after, Donnel landed Spear point first into the ground in front of me, he quickly spun around the shaft of his Spear and spin kicked toward me.

I quickly blocked it with my forearm, and then grabbed hold of his ankle, he widen his eyes as I pulled him back and then slammed him against a tree behind me he grunted in pain, but kicked at my hands, I let him go and watched him drop to the ground and roll away.

Gregor rushed forward from behind me and tried to attack my back with his sword, but since I still had my Dragonn Wings out, I used Steel Wing and block his attack, a loud clang echoed throughout the area, but Gregor didn't let that stop him, he pushed himself away from me and quickly spun around me.

He quickly tried to hit me in the forehead with the pommel of his sword, but I moved my head away to the side and engulfed my fist with Steel Type Energy, a second later, I unleashed a Bullet Punch barrage into Gregor's side.

He grunted in pain and then coughed up some blood when his ribs cracked and then broke, he quickly dropped himself to the side though, only for me to widen my eyes when Chrom appeared out of nowhere in front of me, Falchion engulfed with Holy Light as Chrom thrusted it towards me.

I quickly move to the side and hit Chrom in the face with my elbow, he was immediately sent flying away from me, but for good measure, I fired a quick Fireball Spell at him, three Fireballs materialized around me and then shot forward towards where Chrom landed.

He didn't even had time to look at my direction as my Fireballs crashed against him and exploded on impact, *how the hell did he appeared right in front of me without me sensing him!?*.

[I don't know Rean, he caught me off guard too, it wasn't Teleportation of any kind either.]

I narrowed my eyes, but didn't get to think much more about this, as Emmeryn suddenly fired a massive Lighting Blade Spell at me, the giant sword made out of electricity, materialized above me and dropped down on me.

I took a big breath and then gathered a massive amount of Normal Type Energy into my mouth and then fired a massive Hyper Beam towards Emmeryn's Lightning Blade Spell, instantly destroying it and parting the clouds on the sky.

Emmeryn frowned but then jumped to the side, Miriel, who was standing behind her pointed her hand towards me and then casted an Absolute Spell, I immediately engulfed my body with Fire Type Energy and used Flame Wheel to both, get rid of the frigid energy and to destroy Miriel's Ice Magic Spell.

Miriel clicked her tongue in annoyance, she tried to jump back, more than likely, to let the next person attack me, but I shot a String Shot at her and tangled her with it, I then pulled on the web.

Miriel grunted as she was pulled along with the String Shot, I caughte her by the throat and then hit her with a Disable attack, she flinched feeling her Magic being sealed away by a mental block, but she still tried to knee me on the chin.

I moved my head away and then threw her into Gaius who was rushing towards us, he quickly abandoned his attack plan and caught Miriel, but she immediately yelled at him, "no you fool, it's a trap!".

Gaius' eyes widen and turned his head toward me, I just grinned and snapped my finger while using a bit of Grass Type Energy and used a Leaf Storm, both Miriel and Gaius were engulfed by a torrent of glowing green leaves, both screamed within the attack in pain.

Suddenly and out of nowhere, Sumia appeared behind me and jabbed her Water engulfed Spear into my back, the Water Mana in her Spear detonated upon contact with my back and sent me flying forward, while being engulfed in a maelstrom of fast moving water.

Though, I soon spread my wings while discharging some of my Stardust energy, a massive shockwave was unleashed from my body, dissipating the water maelstrom around my body and sending Sumia flying back and away from me.

That's the second time I got caught off guard and for some reason I couldn't sense the attack coming, how are they doing that? Panne rushed forward and engulfed her body is Rock Type Energy, she then roll into a ball and used Rollout.

She immediately headed towards me at high-speed, I flapped my wings and tried to fly away, but Nowi came down toward me her claw glowing with Dragon Type Energy, she quickly lashed out at me with a massive Dragon Claw.

However, instead of slashing at my body, I slapped away her attack and then grabbed her by one of her horns, she eeped in surprise but then, she began to scream when I began to spin her around and then throw her towards the still rolling Panne below, Nowi couldn't even move from the force I threw her with Seismic Toss and crashed on top of Panne.

I could have sworn Panne cursed me out and my parents before she was squished by Nowi, that was funny, I'm sure my father would get a kick at being called an asshole for no reason other, than beause his son threw a whole ass Dragon at someone.

Suddenly, Lon'qu appeared out of nowhere, took on a quickdraw stance, and then swung his sword at me, at a speed way beyond the norm, if I was any other person, I would have gotten cut to pieces.

But, I'm not normal and quickdraw techniques, are my bread and butter, so, I quickly dodge all of of Lon'qu's slashes, we moved so fast, that we were leaving after images from each and every one of our movements.

Tired of dodging his attack, I gathered Dark Type Energy in my throat and then used Snarl, releasing a fast moving, dark Soundwave, that hit Lon'qu dead on and sent him ragdolling through the ground.

I quickly began to look around, I think I know what's going on now, how the Shepherds have been been able to catch me off guard multiple time now, so I narrow my eyes and frowned, " Kellam... your hiding people behind you aren't you?".

Kellam didn't respond, just stayed quiet, which was a good idea, but this is how some of the Shepherds have been able to appear out of nowhere without me sensing them, the bastards were able to trick my senses, thanks to Kellam's OP Stealth stat.

But I have counter for such a broken Conceptual, inborn ability, I gathered my Aura and prepare to use multiple Pokémon moves at once, something I've learned to do, after a lot of practice, my Pokémon helped me with this as well.

Which made me quite the master at pulling off Pokémon Moves like this, I quickly gathered Normal, Rock, Poison and Bug Type Energy between my hands, creating an Orb, which I threw into the air and let it spin above me.

The Energy soon transform into their Pokémon moves, Spikes, Stone Edge, Toxic Spike and then, Sticky Web, the Pokémon moves soon scattered all around me and became invisible to the eyes, with my traps in the field, I decided to add one more attack.

I gathered, Ice Type Energy into my hand and then created another Orb, this one, I shot way up into the sky, were it burst, releasing the Ice Type Energy into the sky, soon after, the clouds became black and gathered above me and then hail began to fall.

I quickly began to hear grunts of pain, insults and a lot of cursing from the Shepherds around me, which made me chuckle a bit, it got worse when they tried to move to cover themselves under trees or what not only for, my traps to immediately trigger the moment they moved.

Screams of Pain, even more swearing and even some cries of help, began to echo throughout the area, but, I soon ignore that and focus on the sound of the Hail hitting something metal nearby, I grinned and then turned my head towards where the sound was coming from, "found you Kellam!".

I rushed forward, now that I know where Kellam is, I could now see him, just in case I kept all of my senses on him so I wouldn't lose him, Kellam immediately raised his massive Shield to tank whatever attack I was going to hit him with.

But, that didn't do anything to slow me down or stop me, I gathered Electric type Energy into my fist, and lashed out at Kellam with a Thunderpunch, boy did he regret trying to block my attack with his metal Shield.

Kellam instantly screamed in pain as his Shield dented and electricity ran through his armored body, the person hiding behind him, also screamed in pain, since she was really close to him and the electricity jumped onto her.

Kellam was then sent flying backwards, crashing into Sully, who was behind him, taking her down with him and rolling on the ground, "hmph! it was good plan, but you really should have not over used it, you gave me enough time to realize what you were doing!".

The spar went on for quite a long time after, explosions, shockwaves, blasts, elemental bursts, screams, swearing and curses were heard and seen all over the area, the battle was fierce enough, that the Warrior Bunnies and the Xeno could felt the ground shaking.

But eventually, the battle's intensity went down and then stopped, the aftermath of the spar was not pretty though, Tione and Tiona watched as every Shepherd was being treated on the ground by Blissey, Audino, Comfey and the Indeedee couple, though they were running around towards where each and every Shepherd layed.

Tiona sweatdropped at the charred body, of who she was sure was Vaike and then sighed, "well, at least they lasted pretty long against Rean, not many can say that".

Tione nodded, but winced when she was Blissey reattach Virion's legs, which caused him to scream like a girl, "yeah... but I think Rean over did it a bit".

Both twins turned their heads towards where their boyfriend layed napping on the ground, after he had taken out Kellam, Rean decided to stop playing around and tool on his Dragon From, things went downhill for the Shepherds after that.

They fought and tried to face Rean with everything they had, but nothing they did, was able to even scratch his scales, Rean stompcurbed the Shepherds in about a few minutes later.

It wasn't even a fight, and no matter what the Shepherds tried, they just couldn't do anything to slow Rean down, much less actually stop him, the Shepherds were soundly defeated and most were almost killed, Tiona shook her head as she watched her boyfriend take a nap, "I think everyone did good, they did catch Rean off guard a few times and even hit him a couple of times".

Tione sighed and then fondly smiled at her sleeping boyfriend, "yeah, they did amazing, and a few of them even evolve their classes".

Both Tione and Tiona turned their heads towards where Chrom was being wrapped around in bandages by the female Indeedee, Chrom became a Great Lord trying to protect his future wife, Sumia, from getting hit by Rean's Flamethrower attack.

He tanked the attack but was then slammed by a Slam attack from Rean, Lon'qu and Gaius also evolved their classes, they both actually jumped on Rean's back and tried to cut off his wings, until Rean used Rollout and squished them.

Though they didn't give up and instead grabbed onto Rean's back, until he stopped, the Thief and Myrmidon then ran acrossed Rean's back, neck and head, both then attacked his eyes, which kinda made the Dragon God flinch.

No one likes to getting attacked in the eyes, even if said attacks didn't do anything to Rean, both Gaius and Lon'qu soon evolve their classes, into an Assassin and a Swordmaster, only for Rean to blast them away with Rage a second later.

Rean then proceeded to attack everyone non-stop with Rage causing a lot of damage to the Shepherds and devastation to the area, Donnel soon evolve his class next after Rean's Rage attack, becoming a Mercenary, the guy actually fought Rean head on and tried to beat him.

It looked like one of those stories, where the hero fights a Dragon, but unlike those stories, the Dragon won that fight, Donnel fought well, but when his class evolved into a Mercenary, his weapon proficiency changed, he was no longer proficient with a Spear, but rather the Sword, so he was unable to fight at his fullest.

He was defeated by Headbutt from Rean and sent ragdolling throughout the ground and crashing through a few trees, overall, four of the Shepherds were able to evolve their classes, so in the end, the spar was very useful and a success.

Though it was a very hard and difficult fight, sure the Shepherds fought with unparalleled teamwork and tactics, but in the face of someone like Rean, that didn't matter and the Shepherds found that out right away.

Tiona giggled when she saw Audino drag a groaning Robin to Lissa and layed him at her side, he opened an eye and saw that his future wife was having her arm pop back into place by the male Indeedee.

She grunted and then sighed in relief when her dislocated arm was put back to its place, she then layed down besides Robin and huffed, "Rean is so mean... he didn't have to stomp on me like he did!".

Robin chuckled and then grunted in pain, "at least he didn't use you like a flail to hit everyone else, I think he broke my spine...".

Lissa groaned and close her eyes, Tione giggled and shook her head, "well, let's let Rean sleep for a bit and go help the Pokémon heal the Shepherds, some of them are bleeding... or trying to put their intestines back into their bodies...".

Tiona sweatdropped when she saw Sully push her guts back into her abdomen and then get healed by Comfey, who was nervously sweating as she watched Sully do all of that without even grunting in pain.

A few hours later.

After everyone got healed, revive and what not, they all went to rest and relax to the Pokémon Center, I of course cook them all a big meal as well, after that meal, we all sat down and hanged out a bit, though everyone was staring at Emmeryn with concern in their eyes.

Lissa sighed and shook her head, "poor Em...".

Robin nodded and felt bad for his future Sister in law, "yeah... how do you recover from something like that?".

Emmeryn looked like a zombie and was just slumped in her seat looking lost and out of it, Sumia scratched her head and then piped in, "well, Rean did catch her in his jaws, chewed her up a bit and then spat her out... that's the kinda of thing you don't recover from...".

The Shepherds all sweatdropped as they were reminded at what I had done to Emmeryn, in my defence, she thought it was a good idea, to fly towards my face and try to fire a spell into my open mouth, out of reflex, I caught her in my jaw and began to chew her a bit.

Luckly, I realized what I was going to do, so I spat her out right away, in hindsight, I shouldn't have done that to her, but my Instincts took over, Panne turned her head towards me and suddenly asked something that shocked everyone, "so... what does the Exalt taste like?".

Everyone gaped at Panne, while Emmeryn shivered, I hummed for a bit and thought about Panne's question, "well... she tasted kinda fruity, like a melon, just more crunchy".

The Shepherds all sweatdropped, while Emmeryn was covered in a dark depressing aura, the only who looked very intrigued, was Panne, who had asked that question to begin with.

Chrom decided to change the conversation to something else, for his sister's benefit, "anyways... we lost pretty badly huh?".

Robin sighed, "yeah, no matter what we did, Rean had a counter attack that negated our attacks and hit us twice as hard".

Lissa rubbed her head and nodded, "he didn't even let us cast any big magic spell and when we were able do so, he would just dodge it or block it with a skill, it was very frustrating".

Sumia suddenly clapped and smiled, "oh! but at least, Chrom, Donnel, Lon'qu and Gaius evolved their classes! they'll be even be able to grow even more powerful!".

Everyone nodded in agreement with Sumia, if there was one good thing that came out of this spar was the fact, that four of the Shepherds have advanced into their advanced classes.

I smiled and then spoke up, "you guys did good, you attacked in coordination, followed up each other's attacks and made your own openings, plus everyone was able to take advantage of their skill sets.

Besides, this spar wasn't meant for you guys to win or anything like that, I wanted to see how you guys reacted in the face of something or someone far more powerful than you guys.

You didn't cower, you didn't run and most of all, you guys made no excuses, instead, you fought with everything you had and faced me head on, "I'm very proud of you guys.

So tomorrow we're moving on to advance training and then, we're going to war, it's time to make the Mad King pay for all his done!".
