Hello everyone!
IMPORTANT NEWS, PLEASE READ!.
First I want to make an announcement and give you guys some news! First of all! The app is still giving me issues and it's been very difficult to write but I am doing my best for all of you! Also, you guys will be getting a new chapter of Hope and Morgan Adventures tomorrow as well!.
Second! I adopted a black Cat who I named Choco, my friend rescued her from the street, the poor girl was so skinny and hurt, that I wasn't sure if she would make it, so I didn't say anything about it until now, but she seems way better now and she's even more active as well!.
So yeah, I'm happy to have her and she's been helping feel less alone, stressed and anxious, to be honest I been struggling a bit since my father passed away but now I feel much better, still hurts but at least I can be at ease again.
Anyways! my friend who rescued my cat, knows I'm writing stories and get donations sometimes, given that I'm not in the best financial situation still, she advice me to ask for help to you guys, I didn't want to, you guys know me, I'm not one to want to bother people.

As for Companion Gem candidates, I rather the people or beings summoned for it can have some sort of use to the story, warriors or people with trouble past and lives, things like that, Pandora fits, but Winnie the Pooh and Courage would not really add anything, Courage would just panic at every little thing and pooh? well he's Pooh.

Chapter 96.
A few weeks later.
Thing have calmed down a bit in Kuoh and this allowed the Second Generation of the Shepherds, to relax and adapt to Kuoh, modern time was still a new mystery to them but at least, it seems like they were having fun experiencing everything in my world.
It made me very happy to see them happy and having fun, they all found new things to do here and they are making lots of new friends, something that they never had a chance to do back in their timeline.
But, even though things were going good in Kuoh and with the Second Generation of the Shepherds, things in their original world were becoming tense.
Despite not having found any news or seen any movement from Grima, there was this air of anticipation in the air, especially in the direction of Plegia, something was happening behind the scenes, we just didn't know what.
Chrom, Robin and the others were back on their original world preparing for war, despite not knowing what Grima was planning or doing, they were still preparing, both their Kingdoms and armies.
Of course, no one neglected their training and I was making all sorts of armor and weapons for the Kingdom's armies, so things were going well in that regard.
Still, all of us couldn't help but feel tense and cautious, yes, even I was feeling anxious, despite my power and everything I can do, getting caught by surprise, is not something I was going to allow to happen.
This morning I got up early and went to my Pokéhome to do some Smiting and Enchanting, it's what I have been doing lately and it's something I enjoy doing so, however, as I was about to enter my Workshop, Lucina suddenly came running towards me while calling out my name.
I stopped right in front of my Workshop's door and turned around to look at Lucina, while she was running towards me, she looked anxious and nervous actually and that let me know that something had happened.
So I waited for her to reach me, it didn't take her long and soon enough, she was in front of me, though she took a few seconds to recover her breath, eventually, she began to speak, "Rean, I have news from moth- I mean Robin!".
She was about to call Robin mother wasn't she? heh, it has happened before and it as always, it's very funny to see Robin panic at not knowing how to react at being called mother by Lucina and Morgan.
However, news from Robin means that something is going on in his world, "what's the news?".
Lucina reached into her pocket and took out a letter, "Mew delivered this to me this morning, it's not good news...".
Well shit, that does not bode well, without any more time to waste I took the letter from Lucina and began to read it.
{To Rean and Lucina.
Scouts have seen some Grimeal moving about an abandoned Fortress in the Desert of Plegia not too long ago.
They were followed and the scouts then found out an enormous army of Risen within the Fortress, all look like enhanced versions as well, but feel different somehow, according to the scouts, they were talking to each other and making plans.
Something we know that Risen weren't capable off, I sent Sumia and Cordelia to look into the Fortress, according to them, they sensed an enormous amount of Dark and Evil Energy, we think Grima is there now or something serious is happening there.}.
"... I see, so Grima is about to make its move, looks like it's time to go to war".
Lucina nodded but looked down feeling bit nervous, I don't blame her though, facing off against Grima is something Lucina and her friends have been doing for a long time and given that they have always lost, it's only natural that Lucina would be feeling nervous now.
However, things were very different now, "Lucina".
Lucina looked up towards my eyes and stared into them, she was afraid, that much I could tell but I just have to remind her how different things are now, "it's going to be fine Lucina.
Everyone is stronger, too strong actually, this time around Grima won't win, you and your friends have come a long way as well, your strong Lucina, you always have been.
So don't worry, we will win this war, we will make sure that your future doesn't happen, so stand tall and face Grima for one last time, you can do it".
Lucina stared into my eyes in silence for a few seconds and I saw her calm down through them, she then gave me a soft smile and a nod, "thank you Rean... not just for this, but for everything.
I wasn't so sure about you when we met... you were an unknown, an extremely powerful one, but, time after time, you showed me that you were a friend, you gave me hope.
You did what I could not, you saved my aunt Emmeryn, you protected Father and Robin, but most of all, Walhart was stopped from waging war, you don't know how many lives you saved just from that alone.
Now, you even gave me and my friends a place to belong and a life to live... so again, thank you for everything Rean".
I smiled at Lucina and nodded, to be honest, listening to her list everything I accomplished made me realize, just how much I have done in this world, it certainly made me happy to hear it too so I reached over to Lucina and gave her a headpat, "your welcome Lucina, now, let's go gather everyone, it's time to end this, once and for all".
Lucina blushed a bit, but then gave me a nod and together we left my Workshop to go gather everyone who we decided would join us in this war.
Some time later.
After Lucina and I gathered everyone, we all met in Ylisse, once there we all then walked to the castle and into the war room, once inside we found Chrom and the Shepherds already waiting for us.
It was time for planning and so, we all took a seat, though Wiz and I expanded the War Room and created more chairs first so everyone could take a seat, once everyone was seated, Robin began to speak, "greetings everyone".
Everyone sent a nod to Robin and then he went on, "we have been keeping an eye on the Fortress, as we have said, there's a mass army of Risen there, however, more and more have began to gather as well".
Hestia frowned and then spoke up, "by the way you were speaking, I can guess that there's a loooot of Risen huh?, just how many are we talking about?".
Robin nodded to Hestia and then spoke up, "we lost count at 50 thousand...".
Everyone gaped at the number, I don't blame them though, that is a big number and it seems that it has been growing without any sign of slowing down, Itami crossed his arms and frowned, "that's not good... but just how were they able to get so many Risen? I though the Pokémon were preventing anyone from being kidnapped".
I nodded to Itami, "that's right, but there's other ways to get bodies, we did get a report that many Thieves, mercenaries and lowlives were going missing, my guess is that, that's how they were able get bodies".
Welf then piped in, "plus, there were plenty of dead in the war against Plegia, right?".
Chrom and Robin nodded confirming Welf's theory, Serafall sighed and then spoke up, "big numbers aside, what else do we know?".
Robin immediately went back to giving his report, "these Risen don't appear to be same kind we have been fighting before.
These seem to be less beast like, capable of speech and thinking, plus... they also seem stronger, they look and sound like what happened to Walhart, according to Kunou's and Wiene's report, when he became a Risen, not only did he become stronger.
But despite being undead, he was still capable of using all of his skills and abilities".
That's right, that Risen Walhart sounded way different from the regular and enhanced Risen we've seen before, more cunning and powerful as well.
Not something that any of us should be worried about, but the fact that Kunou had told us, that these new Kind of Risen didn't seemed perfect, is something too keep in mind.
Sona pushed his glasses up her nose and then began to speak, "they're gathering their forces, it sounds like they're getting ready to invade full force, probably attack all fronts at the same time... a very aggressive strategy".
Sona and Rias were here with us as well, Serafall thought it would be a good idea for the both of them and their Peerages to experience what war was like, I agreed because as Sona's and her Peerage's teacher, I wanted them to be ready for anything, plus help is always appreciated.
I allowed Rias to tag along as well, though I did make her and her Peerage sign a magical contract, one that prevented them of speaking of other worlds and what I can do, to anyone who is not allied to me.
It was a good thing Rias and Her Peerage agreed to sign it and understood why I had asked them to do so after they arrived into the Fire Emblem Awakening world, needless to say that Rias and her Peerage had been shocked was an understatement.
Rias looked around looking a bit underwhelmed in this situation, I don't blame her, she must feel very out of place in such a serious and tense situation, but she is smart enough to realized what was happening, "so it's some kind of ambush?.
Then why don't we hit them first? if they're still gathering forces, wouldn't be easier to take advantage of the situation and attack now?".
Robin hummed upon hearing Rias' idea, he didn't immediately shot it down, which shows that it's a valid tactic, however, he seems to be considering all of our options, "it could still be a trap of some sort.
It just doesn't make sense for the enemy to show its hand right now, I mean, why now? why show us that they're gathering their forces at this very moment?".
That is a very good question, just what is Grima planning right now? suddenly, a voice spoke up from behind Serafall, "still, waiting to find out what the enemy is planning could be dangerous as well".
I turned my head towards who just spoke and sighed, "Sirzechs... the fuck are you doing here?... cross that, how are you here?".
Sirzechs grinned and then gave me a victory sign, I couldn't help but deadpan at the Satan before me and his childish antics, Sirzechs then began to explain, "well, since Serafall called my parents to ask permission for Rias to come over here, I got curious.
So after Serafall had me sign some magical contracts, I came over to see what was going on, you know? since my best friend didn't even tell me he was getting involved in a war and got even more male friends...".
I sighed and shook my head in exasperation, the fact that Sirzechs actst like a toxic girlfriend sometimes, is a big reason why I didn't want him getting involved in all of this, so I turned my head towards Serafall with a deadpan.
My devilish girlfriend had the decency to look apologetic, "I'm sorry okay!? he just wouldn't let me alone! I even got Grayfia involved, but that kinda backfired on me...".
Serafall then pointed to our side, all of us turned our head to the side only to sweatdrop when we saw Grayfia trying to prick Sakuya with a needle to get a drop of blood and failing, looks like she's trying to find out if Sakuya is a long lost relative of her clan still, that woman is stubborn as hell...
Still, to see the usually cool headed maid, trying to poke my super maid girlfriend with a needle, while she used Time Manipulation to make it seems like the needle is just going through her and not even touching her was kind of funny.
The whole thing confused Grayfia, who would stop to check that the needle stilled worked by poking Issei with it, the Red Dragon Emperor would jump and groaned in pain from the prick and Grayfia would then try to poke Sakuya again.
The whole thing really was ridiculous, but that's just my what my life is I guess... damn it.
After we got Grayfia to chill a bit and Sirzechs to go sit a bit away from the adult table, we got back to business, Robin rubbed his forehead and then spoke again, "despite the shenanigans, everyone who spoke has made a good point, damn if we wait, damn if we don't, honestly? I'm at loss as to how to proceed here".
It is a difficult situation and everyone understood this, which is why everyone sitting here, looked down and looked lost in thought, though I did need to raise a question, "how are the preparations in the other kingdoms?".
Flavia grinned and raised a hand, "the Feroxi had been ready for war for a while now, were just waiting for orders".
Say'ri nodded and spoke next, "Chon'sin is also ready and waiting for orders, a teleport circle have been installed as well, we can arrived in Ylisse, Plegia or Ferox in seconds at any time".
Cherche stood up next and the gave her report, "both Rosanne and Valm are ready as well, though Valm is still recovering from the bloody war conquest that Walhart made it endure, it's still ready to fight with us".
That's good to know, Rosanne is the Kingdom both Cherche and Virion come from, Virion is a noble of that kingdom actually, something that surprise everyone a bit, though we sort of understood why he had such an unique way of speaking and behavior now.
Thanks to Kunou and Wiene stopping Walhart's army from moving forward with their conquest, Rosanne was saved from being oppressed, something that had happened in the game by the time the Shepherds arrived there.
By the time you get to that point in the game, Rosanne would be on its last legs and when the war was over, it was too weakened to actually offer their aid when Grima began its attack on the world.
That isn't the case this time, Valm, is the Kingdom Walhart ruled over and after his defeat by Kunou, Valm immediately surrendered and both Chon'sin and Rosanne took over it to both supervise them and destroy any surviving generals and opposition that could be found.
Eventually, Valm was given its liberty back but it was still under surveillance by the Kingdoms, surprisingly, when we told the officials currently looking after Valm, they immediately offered their aid in the battle.
It seems like Walhart had already known of the return of Grima, him conquering and taking over the Kingdoms was his way of uniting them in preparation to fight against the Fell Dragon.
In all honesty, I can't remember why he thought itvwas a good idea to do this via war, maybe he thought it was a good way to prepare the Kingdoms or something? we might never know and in all honesty, I couldn't care less.
If we had let him do whatever he wanted, many would have die and Grima would have gotten millions of bodies to create more Risen, which would have helped the Fell Dragon when it decided to attack.
"Alright, it seems like a preemptive attack is the best way to deal with this, I'm sure Grima knows we will be coming, there's no way it doesn't have any plans to deal with an attack.
But, we're ready and I'm sure the Fell Dragon won't expect everyone here being as powerful as they are, much less expecting me, my girlfriends, my daughters and my Pokémon, whatever Grima is planning we can deal with it easily.
Everyone gave me a nod accepting my proposal for a preemptive attack, but just in case, "we attack in a week, everyone, I want all of you to get ready in that time, in the meanwhile I'll do a little investigating of my own on and see what's happening in Plegia".
Everyone nodded and taking my order as a dismissal as well, everyone stood up and began to leave, most of girlfriends had things to do and also needed to tell someone that they will be taking a leave for a while.
This was especially true for Yasaka, Serafall and Wiz, who had to close the shop while we were dealing with this, while Yasaka and Serafall had to leave someone in charge for a a bit, this left ne behind with Kunou and Wiene.
Kunou walked over to me once we were alone and immediately hugged me, I smiled and gave her a headpat, "girls, do you want to join me on a surveillance mission?".
Kunou looked up with a big happy smiled and vigorously nodded, "ooh! we're going to do a mission together! yay! that sounds fun!".
Wiene walked over and jumped on my back, now, Wiene is usually a quiet and serious girl, but when it was just me and her ro with Kunou, she would act rather clingy and childish, which was fine, I'm glad she had moments like these, I want both Kunou and Wiene to have a fun childhood.
Well, as much as it can be when we're a family that it's involved with wars, world dooming events and battling powerful Supernatural beings, but Wiene and Kunou have fun in their own way anyways so they're okay... I hope.
Wiene leaned her head over my shoulder and gave me a smile, "let's go and spy on the enemy papa! maybe give them a scare or two?".
I chuckled and grinned at Wiene, there's that mischievous side of Wiene, many would be surprised to see it, since Wiene tends to be serious and hard when it comes to her profession of Doctor/Nurse.
But in reality, she's very mischievous, I think she inherented that from Gaea, (I think she got that from you dear Rean, I'm bloodthirsty not mischievous hehehe).
I sweatdropped, because Gaea does make a point so I'm not going to even try to defend myself, so I just nodded to Wiene, "alright, then, go get ready, well be staying in Plegia for a few days".
Both Kunou and Wiene nodded, Wiene then jumped off my back and Kunou let go, soon after both took off running to go back to Kuoh and get whatever they wanted.
Meanwhile, I stayed in the War room to think about which Pokémon to bring with me for this sneaking mission.
Two days later, somewhere in the desert north of Plegia.
It's been two days since Kunou, Wiene and I arrived to the supposed Fortress Grima had made into its base, so far we haven't been detected and we have taken our time investigating the enemy's armies and the Risen.
We also have been constantly reporting anything we find back to both, Sona and Robin, since these battles will involve massive armies from multiple Kingdoms, Robin decided that he needed help with his Grandmaster duties.
Especially because he will fighting with the Shepherds, Sona will be taking the role of main armies strategist, with Rias offering support, Robin knew how Sona is my student and how smart she is from me, so he was more than willing to let her help in this capacity.
So, both were getting all the information we were getting and making plans, right now, we were some distance away from the Fortress while watching over the army of Risen.
It is a massive amount of Risen and these Risen are really different as well, they were incredibly smart, in fact, if it weren't for the glowing red eyes and blackened skin, they could pass as normal human.
They can talk, eat and even perform high level thinking and work, in fact, Kunou and Wiene saw a few Risen forging weapons out of some sort of wispy black metal, which shocked me quite a bit.
The level of intelligence on a undead of this level is unthinkable, I've never seen anything like it, not even on video games or anime, just what was Grima thinking when it created these things?.
Speaking of Grima, we haven't seen head or tails of the Fell Dragon, I think is waiting until all preparations are completed to show itself, which in all honesty, is a very good idea on that Dragon's part.
So far we have captured a few Risen here and there to do some in depth research on them, as I thought about all of this, I turned my gaze towards my left and watched as Umbreon was sitting besides me, while chewing on a defeated Risen's leg.
We found out that these Risen don't turned into black Ash when defeated, but rather, their bodies stay and they enter into some sort of hibernation mode, where all their injuries and damage to their bodies is healed, sort of like the Pokémon Move, Rest.
Though unlike the move, that Heals all wounds instantly, what these Risen do slowly heals the damage until they back in perfect health and wake up, that's the reason Umbreon is using this Risen as a chewing toy.
As long as the damage isn't healed, the Risen won't get up again, other ways to really kill them are, destroying the head completely or destroying the body to the point that there's nothing left.
But the body still stays though and that's a weird choice of ability to give to these undead, I wonder why Grima chose to give them this ability? I'm sure the Fell Dragon has some sort of plan for this but until it shows it, we're going to have to be careful and try to destroy any bodies we can.
Though, it might be a bit difficult with the battles happening in the middle of the war, suddenly, Umbreon's ears stood straight up and he looked up, I looked up as well and watched as Wiene came into view.
My daughter soon landed nearby along with Pidgeot and Flygon, she then quickly walked over to us, "Papa, you were right, more Risen have appeared again".
Everyday more and more Risen appear here, though I haven't seen how, no portal nor magical teleportation was felt either, they just... somehow arrived into the Fortress.
Pidgeot and Flygon nodded confirming what Wiene just told me, this was also something that has been perplexing to the three of us, everyday a big number of Risen seem to arrive to the Fortress, but we have never seen them arrive.
They're not coming here by walking or carriage for sure, I had Garchomp check underground in the depths of the Dessert, but he hasn't found anything, no tunnels nor secret chamber either, Charizard and Pidgeot have been keeping an eye on the sky.
But the Risen aren't arriving via flying either, it's like they just appear, suddenly, Kunou popped out of the sand besides us and sputtered, "ew... I ate some sand...".
Kunou spat some sand and then jumped out of the sand, she quickly shook her body causing any sand that was caught on her clothes to fall onto the ground, she then sighed and huffed, "I don't know how Ground Type Pokémon handle digging under the sand".
Garchomp's head soon popped out of the sand and having heard Kunou, gave her a cheeky grinned, Kunou noticed the grin and pouted at Garchomp, "it's not funny Garchomp, sand tastes awful! and its salty too!".
Garchomp just chuckled and shook his head in amusement, Kunou deadpanned at the Ground and Dragon Type Pokémon not finding how her situation seemed to amusing to the Pokémon.
But she soon decided to ignore Garchomp and turned her head towards me and Wiene, "I heard Wiene's report but I think I seen how the Risen have been appearing in big numbers".
Both Wiene and I widen our eyes and wondered just what Kunou had found out, luckly for us, Kunou didn't seem in the mood to make us guess, "it was weird papa, a Dark pool of something black appeared and spread out inside the Fortress.
Then the Risen just began to emerge from that Dark pool, it looked like one of those old school zombie movies, but far more sinister... but that's not all! I couldn't sense anything out of that Dark pool, it was like it was nothing and something at the same time".
A Dark pool? and Kunou couldn't sense anything from it?, that's both worrisome and perplexing, Kunou, as a Yokai, can sense pretty much anything with Senjutsu, so the fact that she couldn't sense anything from whatever that Dark pool is, is very interesting, "I see, that explains how we haven't been able to sense the enemy move about.
We knew they were recruiting low lives and mercenaries, but not how were they moving them around, it seems that the Dark Pool you found is made of an unknown element, especially because I haven't been able to sense anything either nor the Pokémon as well...".
Kunou nodded, it was weird for her, that Dark Pool was like it didn't exist, like it was just one big empty spot that appeared out nowhere in her senses, it was subtle that she didn't even noticed until the she tried to sense the Dark Pool.
Wiene suddenly spoke up, "I think this is how Grima has been able to hide away from our senses as well, whatever that Dark Pool is made of, it has to be some sort of portal leading into some kind of void dimension.
A domain like the Pokehome papa, there's no other explanation as to how you haven't been able to sense Grima, the fact that none of the Pokémon have been able to so do as well is proof of this as well".
I nodded to Wiene to let her know I agree with her, "yeah, that makes the most sense, it most be something I haven't seen before... either way, at least we now know how the Risen are arriving here and where Grima has been hiding.
It looks like I'm going to have to seal off the Battlefield in a pocket dimension when the war begins, I will not let Grima have a chance to escape from us by going into that Void Realm or whatever.
For now, let continue watching the enemy, we'll leave once Robin tell us that everyone is ready, Kunou, are you done planting those surprises of yours?".
Kunou grinned and gave me a thumbs up, "yup! I'm all set and ready to cause some chaos later!".
I nodded to Kunou and then gave her a headpat along with Wiene, soon the war will begin and things will finally come to an end, I can't wait to bring peace to these lands once and for all.
And Done.
