Chapter 6

.

Someone called James and Cameron. It seemed to be a man's voice, but he refused to give his name.

.

Man: Hi, I saw your video. Is it real?

James: Yes.

Man: So it's not a sociology experiment, or a publicity stunt for some new movie?

James: No, anyone who pushes the button gets the money, but they end up next on the chopping block.

Man: I ask because, I have the button. He offered me five million dollars just to push the button, but he was very clear that someone would die because of it.

Cameron: My name is Cameron, I pushed the button. You push the button and I die.

Man: You sure about that. I mean, maybe there are people in line ahead of you.

Cameron: Maybe, but eventually I will die when someone pushes the button.

Man: Are you sure. Maybe we're all on the list. Maybe, when it's our turn, we get killed or spared regardless of whether we pushed the button ourselves.

James: And if you are already on the list, you might die soon. When you face God, do you really want such a recent bad sin on your record.

Man: Or I could survive with five million bucks.

Cameron: You're just making excuses.

Man: I guess I am, the five million is really tempting.

Cameron: Believe me, I know. But the fact is you push the button, someone dies. By your own logic it might be an innocent person that you kill.

Man: Yeah, there's really no way to justify pushing the button is there.

Cameron: Not really no.

Man: Okay, I won't push the button.

Cameron: Thank you. Believe me you're saving yourself more than you're saving me.

Man: I guess I am.

.

After the call ended James and Cameron talked.

.

James: Well, we just dodged a bullet.

Cameron: For now. Thank you, for everything.

James: It's been my pleasure.

Cameron: I want you to help me make a video.

James: What kind of video?

Cameron: It's for the person who kills me.
