Padawan Saga

Chapter 1

22nd day of the 2nd Moon of the Galactic Cycle/39th Cycle Year

Planet: Tatooine

Self-training in the Force was a trying experience to say the least and mainly consisted of a lot of meditation and practice with his ability to lift rocks. The more he focused, meditated and trained the easier it became to use the Force, which is what led to the current situation.

"Remember, just focus on doing what you've been practicing and don't say anything to offend the Jedi." Andros' father said as Andros looked up at his parents for approval.

Contier Sethian, Level: 4

Engineer

Rie Sethian, Level: 3

Store Cashier

The names and levels were strange at first but now Andros had just ignored them before he spoke.

"I won't say anything weird dad." Andros replied with a steady breath that hid the nervousness he felt. The rules of Jedi taking students wasn't common knowledge, but what most people knew was that they mainly took children in their primary years, which wasn't Andros at all. He just started becoming a teen and that might have put a strain on this upcoming test.

The family of three was outside of their home waiting before seeing a sizeable ship land on the surface of the planet a fair distance away. Slick with a chrome coloring and the moment it landed the staircase lowered and coming out of the ship were an adult and a teen near Andros' age. Both dressed in robes and went up to the family.

Quilb, Level: 23

Jedi Knight

Kyrian, Level: 16

Padawan

Quilb wasn't human and instead is an Umbaran. Tall with pale bluish skin, colorless eyes, his face was emaciated with gray markings around his eyes and was bald.

Kyrian also wasn't human and instead is Zabrak. She has a small ring of vestigial horns on her head, pinkish skin with dark yellow eyes but her calm face seemed to counter the original intimidating appearance she possessed.

"Greetings. I trust that this is the child you spoke of in your message." Quilb said courteously with his hands together in front of him as the sleeves of his robe connected and hid said hands from view. But Andros didn't focus on that and instead noticed the lightsabers that Quilb and Kyrian had attached to their robes.

"He is, Master Jedi." Rie said before Quilb spoke with a light chuckle.

"Quilb is just fine. I am no Master as of yet." Quilb explained and for a while the tests that the Jedi Knight put Andros through were simple things that you would see on a test in school as they sat in the living room of the home.

"Your well learned Andros. Now I will be honest and tell you that traditionally you are older than what is allowed for you to become a Padawan, but exceptions to the rule can be made. So, I would like you to try and lift this item with the Force." Quilb explained before he reached into one of the pockets of his robe and took out a strange rock.

It is oval shape and refined into a smooth looking object with light blue markings covering it. Quilb placed it on the floor and motioned for Andros to demonstrate his ability to tap into the Force.

Andros took a deep breath and focused as he raised his right hand and focused on lifting the object.

[You are attempting to lift a 'Small Replica Muntuur Stone'. This object is unique since it adapts to the Force used on it, which increases its weight to a specified limit. The higher you lift it the more FP it will cost to lift and maintain in the air.]

Andros mentally dismissed the message as he raised the stone a few inches off the ground before it started to get heavier. Andros was quickly starting to struggle as he focused on raising it higher and higher while the weight kept increasing. He managed to make it halfway towards the roof of the living room a couple inches above Quilb's head before Andros' hand dropped from the weight, becoming too much for him to bear.

The stone fell but the Jedi Knight caught it in his hand with ease.

[You have been inflicted with the 'Force Exhaustion' debuff.]

"Impressive. Padawan's struggle raising a small stone that high after a single year of training with the Force Lift technique. But you've already did just that with no formal training." Kyrian said in amazement at what she had just witnessed.

"I must say that I am more than willing to bring you to the Jedi Temple and have them judge for themselves if they wish to accept you, but before I can do that. I do need to test your midichlorian levels." Quilb replied before his Padawan prepared the blood testing equipment and with a simple prick of a blood drawing stick; Andros' blood revealed something shocking to Quilb as the stick showed the numerical results of the blood it had drawn.

"Master, is the blood drawing stim broken? That can't be right." Kyrian said in shock at the number Quilb showed her.

"Is everything alright?" Contier asked with concern.

"Everything is fine but let me test your son's blood one more time." Quilb said before testing Andros' blood two more times with two different stims which revealed the same number. "Remarkable."

"Is my blood that good?" Andros asked with slight confusion.

"Andros. Midichlorians are cells within every living organism and those sensitive to the Force can communicate with those cells and perform Force techniques. Each Force-Sensitive has a set number of these cells from birth that never change, and you have one of the highest Midichlorian counts in recorded history. A staggering 19,500." Quilb said while Andros couldn't help but feel a bit nervous now that the two Jedi were staring at him as if he grew a second head.

"Is that good?" Rie asked with motherly concern.

"It is better than good. This reading shows that your son is truly gifted with an aptitude for the Force. If you don't mind my asking, how was he never tested as a Force sensitive during his primary years?" Quilb asked.

"He was tested though, and he was without Force abilities." Contier replied which made Quilb hum in thought before crossing his arms over his chest.

"Quite peculiar indeed." Quilb said before he firmly stood up along with his Padawan. "I believe that we've seen more than enough, and we are more than willing to take your son to the Jedi Counsel and see if they are willing to make an exception for Andros to be accepted into the temple."

Before another word could be said. Both Jedi instantly hardened their faces as they sensed the malice and darkness of the Sith while Andros saw a new game alert appear in front of him.

[Quest Alert!

Name: Survive the Sith Attack

A battalion of Droids led by two Sith Warriors have been dispatched to Tatooine to kill two Jedi as well as the Force sensitive child they are recruiting. Try not to die.

Objective 1: Survie the upcoming battle.

Objective 2: Make your way to the Jedi Temple.

Rewards: 1,300 XP, Possible acceptance into the Jedi Order.

Failure: Death!

Do you accept this quest? Y/N?]

Andros was shocked at what he saw but he didn't hesitate to mentally accept the quest before he ducked down as a series of laser blasts tore through the house causing everyone to duck low and move out of the main room as the roof started to fall apart while lasers kept ripping holes in the building.

Andros hid behind a couch while glancing over at the two Jedi who activated their lightsabers and deflected blasts as a whole chunk of the outer wall was ripped a sunder leaving a massive hole leading to the sandy and blazing hot wilderness showing dozens of droids firing blasters.

Quilb and Kyrian were incredible to watch as they deflected laser blasts back at the droids and render several of them inoperable.

"What are Sith droids doing here?" Kyrian asked in shock while using her blue lightsaber to block attacks before she and Quilb advanced and started cutting through the droids. They were simple foot soldiers with no real fire power, but the point wasn't for them to kill the Jedi, it was to serve as a distraction.

Andros heard the sounds of another lightsaber, causing him to slowly turn his head and see the heads of his parents roll onto the ground and standing over his parents dead bodies are two people clad in coal black metallic armor and to Andros they looked like evil real life versions of grim reapers as both were male and each one had a red lightsaber in hand.

Andros felt himself get raised into the air as he began choking and felt as if a clawed hand was tightly wrapped around his throat.

[You are being Force Choked and lack the skills needed to resist or break free.]

Andros struggled and could only let out gargled choking noises before he was suddenly dropped after a large chunk of the fallen roof had crashed into the back of the Sith warrior.

"Run to the ship!" Quilb ordered before he and Kyrian rushed the two Sith and Andros didn't hesitate to run towards the ship that the Jedi came from while secretly using his Force Lift ability to steal one of the droids blasters that he stashed into his inventory, which was a small sort of pocket dimension he had access to via his powers that could store a small amount of objects.

Andros felt as if he was going to be overwhelmed by everything that just happened but as he hid underneath a table in the ship, he felt himself forcibly relax and calm himself as he saw one of his perks activate.

[Players Mind has been activated.]

"Mom…Dad." Andros whispered to himself as he simply remained in his hiding place while taking slow breaths before he heard someone bored the ship. The footsteps were slow and heavy while the person walking was dead silent.

"Come out little one. The weak Jedi won't be able to save you now. So, at least struggle before your death." The grave and cold voice of the Sith said as he walked onto the ship and Andros could practically feel the malice in the air. Sadly, he couldn't hide for long as he was once again choked with the dark Force power and raised from underneath the table and brought in front of the Trandoshan Sith.

Dark green skin with amber reptilian eyes as his helmet was long gone and his armor had Lightsaber marks from the battle.

Andros struggled to breathe while the Trandoshan took sick pleasure in prolonging the assassination.

"It's a shame. You might have made a good Sith but your too much of a risk to let live. So, any last words."

"…Sorry." Andros said weakly as he summoned the blaster from his inventory into his right hand which placed the blaster barrel in front of the Sith's face. Andros pulled the trigger and fired a blast that forced the Sith's head to violently jerk backwards, and the young man was dropped to the ground and able to breath again while the Sith was on the ground dead as the blaster tore through his skull before he could even deflect the blast.

[Due to the unique quest, your XP for slaying the Sith Kossk will be withheld until later.]

Andros dismissed the screen and rubbed his throat while holding the blaster in hand before dropping it and seeing what he had just done.

He killed someone and that slowly ate at him before he made his way out of the ship to see if the Jedi were truly dead and when he made it back to the remains of his family home, he sadly saw three corpses.

The two Jedi were dead and the other Sith had been beheaded.

"Unbelievable." Andros said to himself before looking at the scene and collected the lightsabers of the Jedi and the Sith. Not for his personal use, but to give to the Jedi since Andros assumed that they would want the objects for religious reasons or something. He also had to tell them where the bodies were located.

When he made it back onto the Jedi's ship, he placed the lightsabers on a sturdy desk along with the lightsaber from the corpse inside the ship making a total of four lightsabers to donate.

"Now, I need to leave before more bad guys come for me. There's no way that was all the forces they would send." Andros said to himself before looking around for some form of driver's manual and sure enough he found it and saw that it worked like a skill book from a game.

[Skill Book: Galactic Ship Piloting manual.

Would you like to learn this skill? Y/N?]

[Galactic Ship Piloting, Level: 1

You have learned the basics of how to fly any spaceship capable of lightspeed jumping from a simple class 1 ship to the luxury class 5 and above.

Increase ship speed by 2%]

"Now, for the hard part." Andros said as he used his newly gained information to prepare the ship for flight and soon enough it left Tatooine's atmosphere.

END!

A/N: So, Andros is now alone and must contact the Jedi Counsel while trying to evade Sith warriors who want him dead. Will things work out for him or is he flying into a trap. Stay tuned to find out.
