So...Rereading the parts of the seven fighters each Mutant Animal has to square off against and seriously rethinking how to do it I don't think I can do what I did with the previous two tests because A all the Mutants will be fighting at once and B these would all be very complicated fights with lots of details to remember about the seven warriors and as you know I really hate complicated fight scenes I'm thinking of mostly summarizing the highlights of each characters fights and I realized I have to rethink my previous assumptions about which Mutant is fighting which warrior because the rules in the book state it is assigned by weight class (Kind of like how boxing is supposed to be...Ha ha!) with the Mutant paired off against the warrior that is closest in weight so realized I have to pair certain Mutants against different opponents based on what I've stated previously what their sizes are not by which warrior pairs best against which personality

However Great Tiger noticed Glass Joe and Von Kaiser were starting to look a little sleepy themselves as he did wake them up in the middle of the night and they haven't slept since...Great Tiger could do what D Elves can do and use meditation as a substitute for sleep unlike D Elves he can't do that all the time only should do it times of emergencies being a human being despite his great magical powers he still needs regular sleep most of the time!

So he quietly spoke to Eleanor his plan and the Mutant Sheep nodded as it was about lunchtime in New York she gave Glass Joe and Von Kaiser some chicken soup and had them take a seat on the plush furniture in her living room, the hot soup quickly had a soporific effect on the two boxers Glass Joe wilted on a plush white sofa not even realizing he had curled up into fetal position and Von Kaiser collapsing into a plush armchair each man thinking to himself as he drifting off into dreamland 'I'll just close my eyes for a minute…'

And each man began to have a flashback of a particular flashback about his respective beloved Mutant

FLASHBACK

Shortly after returning from their honeymoon in Paris Dana resolved to teach herself how to speak French she borrowed a high school French textbook but Dana realized this was going to be harder than it initially first seemed when she realized French had a totally different sentence structure than English! That really made her head spin!

One evening as Joe came back to the apartment from doing the laundry he could hear Dana quietly muttering the French phrases to herself or trying to at least but even at the soft volume he could her getting frustrated at the fact it wasn't coming out right.

Putting down the laundry bag Joe tiptoed over to her and said gently "Are you having trouble Ma Chere?"
Dana sighed and shook her head her floppy ears flapping as she did so "It...It's the totally different sentence structure! It's too hard for me to wrap my head around!" The Mutant Dog closed the book and groaned putting her chin on her fists "It's times like this I'm reminded that I really was the dense meathead of my sisters! Could only understand something if it was as subtle as a train wreck!"
"Now Dana…" Joe said firmly as he sat down beside her "...I won't stand to listen to you belittle yourself! You are not stupid! Quite the contrary, you are wise and cunning! Remember you were the only one of your sisters to realize that no good man would buy a sex slave even if he was desperate you are good at practical wisdom which in my book is always more valuable than 'book smarts' on some obscure subject! It is very hard to learn a new language if you've only spoken one for most of your life! Believe me, when I first came to America it actually took me a very long time to learn how to speak English conversationally It's because I've been at the WVBA so long that helped me get as good at speaking English as I am now!"
Dana gave him a small smile but obviously she was still frustrated at not being able to 'get' French immediately.

Thinking about Dana's programming as unfortunate as it was and how she had been engineered to be pay super attention to the man she had bonded with...Joe kissed her on her furry cheek and said "Let me help you Dana...I think it will be easier to learn if you you're hearing it from me…"

For Von Kaiser's flashback...His memory turned to shortly after the battle with those Evil Gryphon Humanimals from Planet Paradise 5 and their army of 'roided out' apex predator Humanimals all the students had survived with minimal injuries but such a brutal bloody battle took a toll on the immune systems of many of them...Bacon Bit shortly came down with a severe fever after the whole mess was over and was bedridden for quite a few days…

When Bacon Bit came to live with Von Kaiser at his apartment...Since he had no extra bedroom Bacon Bit would have to sleep on the sofa bed Bacon Bit didn't mind "In the tree apartment I had been staying in in Forest it was so crowded I basically had a mattress in the corner of one of basement apartments."
"Something really should be done about housing over there…" Von Kaiser said really the trouble was since the passing of Mutant Civil Rights it seemed nearly every Mutant wanted to be in Forest and be part of 'The New Mutant Scene' but there wasn't enough room for all the Mutants in the world to live in essentially New York City's newest borough so the solution was to create new Mutant Neighborhoods in other places in the world with the magical enhanced trees so the Mutant Animals could live in a place that suited their need to be in a more 'naturalistic' place

Von Kaiser came home to the apartment and saw Bacon Bit still in bed with the ice pack in her head...Her ailing was so great she wasn't even bothering to watch TV even though she had full access to it on the sofa.

"Bacon Bit…" Von Kaiser said as he reached into his shopping bag "...I have what you need, I just need to give you aspirin I just needed to check to make sure it would be safe to give you...Indeed you can take the same medicine humans take."
He gave her a pill and a glass of water to wash it down. The Mutant Piglet flopped back down on her pillow "Thanks Dad…" She said "...Did they find out what was causing Lovelace's teeth to fall out?"
"That was stomatitus or mouth rot an unfortunately common ailment for reptiles...Don't worry she still has most of her teeth she was prescribed a disinfectant mouthwash and told she should have hot soup for the net couple of days...But since most mutant reptiles have an enhanced healing ability she should regrow the teeth she's lost...Unfortunate that the Warm Bloods Mutant Mammals and Birds don't have the same healing ability but I suppose it's only because it's an extension of natural abilities...A lizard can regrow his tail but not mammals or birds."

So some slight spoilers for stories that haven't been written yet but as this story isn't read by my usual reviewers it's OK so Dana's experience is similar to my own attempting to learn French but I just couldn't wrap my head around the different sentence structure and just kept falling asleep in French class and Von Kaiser's flashback Bacon Bit and Lovelace suffer the ailments that you treat the members of their species for in the 90s Edutainment game 'I Can Be An Animal Doctor'
