Chapter 61 Twinning with the Witches

Reiji was at Farangonda's office with the girls and Illya as they were called to go there.
"What?!" They said.
"We're to study at Cloud Tower?!" Bloom said.
"You can't be serious!" Layla said.
"No way am I wearing those tacky witch outfits!" Stella said.
"Calm down, girls. You know, we have to protect the codex at Cloud Tower." Faragonda said.
"There are absolutely no records of witches ever asking fairies for help." Tecna said.
"And that's where Mirta's advice has been most helpful." Farangona said.
"Umm, the witches think that Alfea fairies have it easy. And all the teachers say that fairies wouldn't last two days if they were to take their classes." Mirta said.
"So, we've gotta swallow up pride, is that it?" Musa said.
"Fairies aren't slaves to pride like the witches are, correct?" Faragonda said.
The winx nodded.
"Then it's settled, if you're willing to take classes at Cloud Tower, Lady Griffin is willing to ask for your help against the Trix." Farangonda said.
"And she won't regret it! The Trix will never be able to get anywhere near the codex." Bloom said.
"I have to look after the girls too right?" Reiji said.
"It would be for the best, lady Griffin also suggested Illya since she can learn a lot." Farangonda added.
Illya blinks wondering what they could do.
Later
The Winx Club, Reiji, Illya, Mirta and Zing are walking towards the entrance of the school of cloud tower
"I wish Piff could come along." Layla said.
Zing turns into a witch. "I'll get you my pretty and your little Piff too!"
"She wouldn't be happy. Cloud Tower's energy is too negative." Tecna said.
"Yeah, it would probably give our pixies massive headaches." Bloom said.
"Hey, Zing seems fine." Layla said.
"Decode too but he's a little different." Reiji said as Decode glides at his side.
"Don't worry Layla, I'll save you from the dark magic." Zing said.
"Yeah, but she's kinda..." Musa said as they saw Zing doing fighting moves.
"Crazy?" Stella said.
"Come on, guys. We need to think about working together with the witches." Bloom said.
"Yeah right, and I don't even like being in a crowd where there's a single witch!" Stella said.
"But they did help us fight the Trix last year." Bloom said.
"You seem to forget that they helped the Trix fight us a bunch of times!" Musa said.
"Musa, did the witches do something to you?" Layla said.
"Well almost, like how they tried with Alice, but I beat them." Reiji said. "So they might be scared a bit."
"Most witches want nothing more than to prove themselves better than a fairy." Mirta said.
"I hope they realize that stopping Darkar is more important." Bloom said.
They saw two older wtiches waiting.
"Don't your worry yourselves about that little fairies." Ediltrude said.
"We're just as capable as you of understanding the situation." Zarathustra said.
"Even more I say. I am Professor Ediltrude and this is Professor Zarathustra. We're here to escort you."
"We've been told that you'll be staying with us until the danger is past." Zarathustra said.
"Or until our classes become too much for you, whichever comes first." Ediltrude said.
Illya frowns and crosses her arms. "I won't give up."
The two looked at her and they got curious about Illya.
"Hmmm, maybe she can be a good witch." Ediltrude said.
"Yes, her potential is grand." Zarathustra said.
Stella takes Illya back.
"So, will you be showing around the building?" Bloom said-
"Actually, Cloud Tower is not your typical building..." Ediltrude said.
"It's a living creature with roots and branches." Zarathustra said.
"Roots and branches?" Flora said.
"It's a magical entity created by ancient witches." Ediltrude said.
Stella gags, then nearby the Trix appear as they laugh.
"Hey that little girl is here." Stormy noticed Illya.
"Oh great, let's hope her big gorilla isn't here." Darcy said.
At Auditorium
Griffin was doing the class there with the Winx sitting at the lower seats with Illya. Reiji was at the railing watching.
A witch looks at him.
He looks back at her. "Boo." She looks away fast. "Tough crowd."
"Welcome to Basic Witchcraft 101. The objective of this class is to teach beginners and honored guests the rudiments of dark magic." Griffin said.
"This is so embarrassing." Musa said.
"Ever since we got here, the witches have done nothing but stare at us." Layla said.
"They're jealous of our sense of style, that's why." Stella said.
"We'll begin with a simple exercise, producing energy by conjuring up dark images. Flora, will you start us off?" Griffin said.
"Well... Would Illya have someone helping her." Flora was a little worried.
Griffin looks at Illya who was nervous. "Well normally a partner can backstab you, but a child can have a mentor like a parent helping. So you can assist a bit."
"Thank you."
The students started creating purple spheres. One of them gets zapped by the sphere, another goy choked by a tentacle, making the other students laugh. Griffin watches the students.
"Very good. No, not dark enough. It's a little dusty." She looks at Musa. "Hmm, better than I'd expect from a fairy."
"Great." Musa said.
"Many of our spells require darkness as a primary source of energy, and so it's important to learn to subdue light." Griffin said.
Stella's then glows yellow. "Sorry, but I don't do darkness."
"You realize that your grades here will end up on your permanent record?" Griffin said.
"Have you seen my permanent record? These marks will fit right in." Stella said.
"Professor, if I complete the spell, can I leave class early?" Bloom asked.
Griffin looks at her orb. "Are you feeling alright Bloom? Fairies don't normally summon up negative feelings so easily."
Bloom looks down. "I've had a bad week."
Reiji frowns and then Illya looks at her orb, then her orbs glowed darker making her go intro a trance, it turned red and black as she was hypnotized.
"Illya!" Mirai appears knocking it away.
Many got surprised and looked at the orb before it stopped.
"Hmmm, Illya how about you go out with Reiji." Griffin said.
"Okay." She goes out and Reiji takes her with him.
Griffin can tell something inside of Illya was trying to turn her dark. "It's best to research more."
The winx were worried but they have other things to do.
Reiji goes with Illya as they found Mirta. "Mirta."
"Oh hey Reiji. What happened?" Mirta asked.
"Illya was doing that dark orb and she saw something that scared her." Reiji said.
Mirta got worried and checks on her. "Are you okay?"
"It was scary." She frowns.
Mirta didn't want her to come but they had no choice.
They went to check on the girls, they heard them arguing from inside the library.
"See that? Fairies can't agree with one another." Stella said.
The door opened and they saw the trio.
"What are you guys doing?" Mirta said.
"Collaborating. Isn't that obvious?" Stella said.
"You're arguing, so who's watching the Trix?" Mirta said.
"Mirta's right. We must get together." Flora said.
"Yeah, well I'll listen to Bloom while I'll listen to that traitor." A witch said.
"Oh yeah, she became stronger than you since she can rival me now." Reiji frowns.
"What?" They said with Lucy surprised.
"So before you call someone a traitor, don't talk to your superiors." Reiji narrows his eyes scaring the witches.
"And if the Trix win 'cause you didn't cooperate, what do you think Griffin will do to you?" Mirta said.
That made the witches gasp.
"Okay, everyone. This is our chance to stop the Trix before they get enough power to threaten all the Magic Dimensions. Let's make Griffin and Faragonda proud!" Bloom said.
They cheered for what she said.
Later
Mirta was with Lucy as they talked about the past.
"So did you have fun at the dance the other day?" Mirta said.
"Yeah, I did." Lucy said.
"It was like when we were kids, remember?"
"The village fairs, you always dragged me to them."
"We had fun though, didn't we?" Mirta said.
"You had more fun there than at school that's for sure." Lucy said.
"And you always wanted to be with the "big kids" in art class." Mirta remembered.
"Yeah, because I was better than them." Lucy said.
"You know, we've been through so much together." Mirta said.
"Remember the first day of school?" Lucy said.
"You tried to sit with the Trix. I thought they'd turn you into a toad." Mirta said.
"And you were such a wimp, Griffin almost didn't almost let you in." Lucy said.
"Maybe I'd have been better off. Having a lot of fun at Alfea." Mirta said.
"And you want me to become a fairy?" Lucy said.
"I don't force. It's just fun being with Illya and Reiji the most." Mirta smiles.
"Oh..." Lucy remembers she smiles the most with them. "Well if I keep studying witchcraft, I'll get all kinds of power.
"I guess some things never change." Mirta said.
"Hey, not all witches are like the Trix. Lady Griffin is strong and proud. Someday, I'll be just like her!" Lucy said.
"But we can still be friends." Mirta hugs her and Lucy smiles.
Griffin was at her office with the Ediltrude.
"Well, our students seem to be searching every nook and cranny for any sign of the Trix. Looks like Bloom managed to convince them." She said.
"Yeah, for now." Ediltrude said.
At Zarathustra's class
"Now, the next exercise is absolutely vital for honing your magic skills. The brighter the glow, the more dark energy you can sell." Zarathustra
"Professor Zarathustra, we don't understand what to do." Bloom said.
"Then let me help you. Everyone, close your eyes. Now think of all the times someone kept you from doing what you wanted. Think of the last time you felt helpless or angry. Think of stress, loneliness, heartache. Fill your heart with thoughts of sadness and gloom." Zarathustra said.
Illya looks at the orb and got scared, Reiji then came here.
"What is the meaning-" Zarathustra got cut off when he shoved a paper at her face.
"No tricks." Reiji frowns. "Griffin doesn't want a repeat what happened with Illya."
She frowns. "Well if the headmistress says, the class is over."
Mirta takes a deep breath. "Thank you miss Griffin. This was a set up."
Reiji takes Illya with him as they went outside.
He was with Mirai at a entrance. "Do you know where the codex can be?"
"Hmmm, possibly I can find it. But the caslte will be hard to find being living. If there was a stronger witch she can surpass the Trix's control." Mirai said.
"How who would be that?" Reiji said.
Illya looks at herself as she was scared. "What's happening?"
She then saw the trix at a room with gargoyles.
"Daddy!" She calls out.
"What?" He looks at her.
"Trouble!" She points.
"What?" He got shocked.
He follows where Illya takes as Mirai and Reiji transform into they're rider forms.
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZAMONAS!
He became Zamonas as the group arrive at the room with the Winx and witches fighting against the trix.
"Damn, they came." Stormy said.
The witches blinked at Zamonas.
"Okay, he's more handsome like that." A witch commented.
"Hey!" The winx said.
They shoot magic as the riders making them block with they're arms, Illya watches and she got scared.
"Berserker!" She calls out.
"Oh no!" Icy said.
Berserker appeared and roars.
"Gargoyles attack him!" Icy commanded the statues.
They came to life as they attacked the Servant as he fights them back.
"Now to take care of you little brat." Icy goes towards Illya said.
"Illya!" Zamonas said.
Then her eyes glow making Icy stop.
"Wait... Doesn't that feel." Stormy said.
Illya screams as she transforms, but her outfit changed, instead of her fairy form it's something different.
"I'll beat you trix."
She was now wearing a black and red version of a witch form with a grin as her skin was now tan with yellow eyes.
"She became a witch!" Darcy got shocked.
"No way!" Layla said.
Illya raises her arms as the statues listened to her.
"She overpowered our control!" Stormy said.
"Illya." Zamonas was shocked.
The new witch Illya laughs as she got ready to fight.
Note: The group are now at Cloud tower with a twist as the lessons in that school made Illya become a witch, also for the guest that keeps sending me reviews about many requests, I just stopped adding them because they were getting annoying, I don't take requests so I cannot accept story ideas, if I deleted the reviews it's because they keep coming and i'm not interested.
