Terrance Higgs had put off a very important decision, but, somehow, someway, the choice just presented itself to him.

As Christmas Eve turned into Christmas Day in 2005, Terrance became a first time father as his son came into the world the exact nanosecond that Christmas Day hit.

"I have some news for you regarding your son," the nurse Denise Deliver informed Terrance, "Your son is an albino."

Just like that it clicked.

It had a very snowy Christmas season. Terrance's area was indeed experiencing a White Christmas. AND his newborn son was an albino.

Terrance hadn't thought about what he would be naming his son when he came into the world, but it turned out that was just as well.

Even if Terrance had previously chosen a name, he would be scrapping that name now.

The perfect name for his son was just too obvious and too perfect. It had to be.

"In that case," Terrance informed Denise, "I shall be naming my son Whitey. My son shall be Whitey Higgs!"

"Of course," smiled the Denise as she printed the name Whitey Higgs on the birth certificate, "Your son is albino, he was born at the very moment of Christmas coming, AND with all the snow we've gotten of late, it's definitely a White Christmas this year. It so fits!"

"I didn't even think about how I was going to name my son beforehand," admitted Terrance.

"Bet you would have changed to Whitey anyway," smirked Denise.

"Absolutely I would have," confirmed Terrance, "Whitey's name will go down in history as one of the coolest baby naming stories ever!"

"As a nurse who specializes in baby deliveries, I've heard my share of interesting baby naming stories," said Denise glowingly, "But this one takes the cake. May all your Christmases be white!"

"May all of Whitey's Christmases be white!" grinned Terrance.

Merry Christmas everyone! Love you all -Michael :)
