Chapter 4 - Being More Saiyan
Vegeta and Goku spent their day training. Goku wanted to work more on using Ultra Instinct with Super Saiyan Blue. Vegeta noticed that while using them in conjunction, Ultra Instinct became more accurate, though seemingly harder to maintain. Goku was getting good though. He could see that the 2 weeks of straight training paid off, Goku was stronger now, and seemed more strategic in the way he fought, while at the same time thinking less and just going with his instincts more.
He missed Goku in those 2 weeks, but now he really saw why Goku did it, and that it paid off.
After Training, the Saiyan's went out for lunch, going to the same place where they had their first date. After all they'd been through thus far, and how things have gone between them, they felt it was right to go somewhere that started it all. The Saiyan's ate, talked and enjoyed their time.
it was late when they got home, so they decided to relax before going to bed.
Vegeta remembered he had to be up early as he did agree to picking up Goten to save the 20,000 questions from Chi-Chi about himself and Goku. Vegeta could deal with her quickly enough, bit he knew Goku couldn't be bothered to deal with it.
Goku woke the next morning, just before Vegeta came to get him up.
Goku was taken by surprise, screamed and fell off the bed.
Vegeta rushed in, hearing Goku. "Kakarot! What's wrong?!"
"Look!" Goku exclaimed "This is what I woke up to! What the fuck!"
Vegeta stared at the Saiyan, he wondered if he was seeing things, but surely Goku wouldn't have see it too!
"I have a fucking tail!" Goku exclaimed "How?! My tail was removed when I was a child!"
"There is always a chance they grow back." Vegeta says "Small chance, and usually grow back if a Saiyan is in danger...Kakarot, did something else happen?"
"No, I woke up and it was there!" Goku exclaims
"Hm, I wanted to check." Vegeta says. "They can grow back spontaneously but usually its extremely rare. There's about an 8% chance that a Saiyan's tail will grow back after being removed."
"What do I do with it now?" Goku says confused
"Well, you can remove it, or leave it" Vegeta says "It's up to you. Though, I do have some advice...if you keep it, it can be a weakness in a fight. In that situation, keep it wrapped around your waist."
"I don't know what to do..." Goku admits
"I think it's kind of cute!" Vegeta winks
"You do?" Goku asks noticing the calm sway of his newly regrown tail. "Maybe I'll have to keep it after all!"
"Just don't let anyone grab it." Vegeta says
"Why?" Goku asks
"It's our biggest weakness." Vegeta says "If its grabbed, we will lose our strength."
"I see." Goku says
Goku and Vegeta head downstairs and Bulma is there waiting. She'd heard Goku scream just before Vegeta ran up the stairs.
"Goku are you...?" Bulma then sees it "You've got a tail again?!"
"Heh...apparently" Goku laughs
"Hey, I'm going to go get your son, I'll be back soon." Vegeta says
"Thanks, Geta." Goku smiles "I appreciate it."
Vegeta smiles back at Goku before leaving.
"It's really nice of him to do that." Bulma says
"I know." Goku smiles "I didn't expect him to, but he insisted. Chi-Chi knows about us, and she started trying to badger for answers. Vegeta knew he was more quipped to deal with her."
"You know, you really do bring out the best in him." Bulma says "You really do make him happy.
Goku took pleasure in hearing that. All he ever wanted was to make Vegeta happy, and it seems he was doing that.
Goku had just finished breakfast when Vegeta returned with a smiling Goten.
"Hey buddy!" Goku smiles
"Dad!" Goten greets cheerfully giving Goku a hug
"You okay?" Goku asks
"Yeah!" Goten says "Vegeta let me get ice cream on the way over!"
"Aw, that was nice of him!" Goku smiles "I hope you said thank you!"
"I did." Goten says "mum also told me about you and Vegeta."
"Oh, I see." Goku's face starts to go a little red.
"I did tell her that it wasn't her business and that we were going to tell him mind." Vegeta says
"Sorry, dad." Goten says
"No, no, don't apologise!" Goku says "It's not your fault!"
"Well, I'm happy for you, if that makes it any better." Goten smiles
"It does." Goku say returning the smile and ruffling Goten's hair.
"Does that mean I have 2 dads now?" Goten asks
"Uhh..." Goku doesn't know how to answer the question
"You could say that." Vegeta pipes up
"Cool!" Goten cheers "Is Trunks around? I want to say hello."
"I think he's in the living room." Goku says
Goten runs off to find Trunks and Goku sighs in , I'm so glad Vegeta stepped in on that one. That was an awkward conversation...but...He essentially said he'd be like Goten's dad...he really sees us like a family. Oh how I love him for that.
"So, how'd it go with her?" Goku asks
"She did try prying, but I told her it was none of her business." Vegeta replies "I went off on her when I found out she told Goten. I made sure she was aware that it wasn't her place to do that."
"Oh, how did she take that?" Goku asks curiously
"Ha, she lost her shit." Vegeta laughs "Then that guy tried to get involved. He did try get in my face."
"You're fucking kidding..." Goku says, his expression hardening "I'm gonna batter him."
"It's fine." Vegeta says laughing "I went Super Saiyan and he shat himself"
"I imagine Chi-Chi was not pleased when you did that." Goku laughed
"Oh god no!" Vegeta replies "She started going off on me, but one look soon shut her up. I'd have thought Goten asking her to stop would have worked but no. I took him for ice cream to say sorry for what happened."
"I see, well thank you." Goku smiles
Goku's phone starts buzzing and notices it was Chi-Chi. "Ah... It's her."
"You got it?" Vegeta asks
"Yeah." Goku replies as he hits answer
"Hello." Goku says
"The fuck is Vegeta playing at, Goku!" Chi-Chi shouts
"I think the real question is, what the fuck are YOU playing at?" Goku says coldly "You literally tried to show him up. That's not okay. You tried getting him to tell you about my relationship, well mine and his, and you didn't like that he wouldn't tell you, so you start on him then get that twat involved?! You're lucky Vegeta didn't knock him the fuck out."
"Goku, Vegeta has clearly brought out the worst in you." Chi-Chi says
"No, he didn't bring out the worst in me, he just showed me that I don't need to take shit from anyone, and certainly not you." Goku says "What I do with my life is none of your concern Chi-Chi. Why can't you just let me be happy for fuck sakes?! For once, in a long while, I'm happy, I'm moving on with my life, like you have, but no. You want me to be stuck sad and alone don't you? Well tough. My only reason for staying in contact with you is for our son. Nothing more. Stay out of my life otherwise."
"I just don't get it!" Chi-Chi exclaims "How long have you known you were gay? Were we together when you realised it?"
"If you must know, I had suspicions of it, but was never sure." Goku says "I guess I just realised it after we divorced. I had time to think about things, not that it has anything to do with you. Live your life Chi-Chi and let me live mine. If you have any respect at all for me as a person, you'll do that. If you have anything good inside your cold dead heart, you'll leave me the fuck alone unless it has to do with our son."
"You've changed Goku." Chi-Chi says
"Yeah, that's what happens when you find out your wife was fucking another man behind your back." Goku snaps "If you're expecting me to hold on in case you decide you want to come back, you're wrong. I'm happy and I'm going to live my life, regardless of what you think of me. I'm ending this here, I want no more talk about this from here on out, and if Alec tries to get involved again, I'll knock him out myself. Got it? Good.
Goku hangs up the phone, places it on the counter and walks away.
Gods, I've never seen Kakarot like that...I like thought. He's really taking no shit. Gods he's cute when he's angry.
"Is everything okay? I heard shouting?" Bulma asks
"Yeah, it's fine." Vegeta says "Chi-Chi tried hounding him again, so he put her in her place."
"She seems to be making things rather hard for him lately." Bulma says
"Yeah, I know." Vegeta sighs "I don't get why she seems so against him being happy. She moves on, then expects Kakarot not to. He's been under enough stress lately without having her making things worse for him. He's doing his best to be there for Goten and be in his life as much as possible, yet she's making it so fucking hard for him!"
"She's being so unreasonable about it all." Bulma says with a sigh "Like, I get it, it's a surprise. I was surprised too when you told me you wanted to pursue a relationship with Goku, but I just want you both to be happy, and honestly, it seems you are. You compliment each other well. You get on mostly. You give him the strength he needs to stand up for himself, and he gives you the ability to be more gentle, calmer and more vulnerable. She needs to let him be happy."
"I agree." Vegeta says "I haven't seen him so happy in so long, I want to preserve that. I won't let her bring him down and ruin it for him."
Goku had overheard the conversation between Bulma and Vegeta from the other room. It warmed his heart, but he was still angry. He felt he needed an outlet. Goku went to the Gravity Room, He found a training dummy in there, turning up the gravity to 500x, he let out all of his frustration, kicking and punching as hard as his body would let him.
A few hours later Goku left the Gravity room, sweating, panting and feeling quite a bit less frustrated.
Vegeta knew he'd gone into the Gravity Room but let Goku carry on. It was clear Goku wanted to be alone at that time, and he wasn't going to push it.
Goku walked inside Capsule Corp, he needed to shower for sure after that. He could hear Goten and Trunks playing games competitively. He smiled to himself.
Goku showered, and cleaned himself up. He got dressed, wearing a fitted black T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes. When he came back down the stairs, he saw Vegeta, whom was putting together lunch for Goten and Trunks while Bulma had gone out.
Vegeta turned to grab a knife and noticed Goku. Hey, you. How you feeling?"
"Better." Goku says "Just needed to get it all out of my system."
"Hungry?" Vegeta asks
"I am rather peckish, I'll admit." Goku says
"Well I'm making the boys food, so it shouldn't be long." Vegeta says
"Want a hand?" Goku asks
"You relax, I got this." Vegeta smiles "But maybe you can give me a taste of your cooking soon!"
"How about I make dinner?" Goku says
"Sounds good to me!" Vegeta says with a smile "I look forward to it."
After 20 minutes Vegeta finished cooking. He set aside a plate for Bulma.
Goku noticing Vegeta was plating up went to fetch Goten and Trunks, who had just finished a game.
Goku, Vegeta, Goten and Trunks sat around the table eating together.
"I'm thinking of heading back to Beerus' planet to start back training tomorrow." Goku says "I'm feeling rested enough to jump back in."
"Okay." Vegeta replies "I was thinking of going there myself as I've not been there in a while and it would be good to train with someone, rather than just in the Gravity room."
"Sounds good!" Goku smiles
An hour after food, it was time to take Goten home.
"I can take him back if you want." Vegeta says
"It's okay, but thank you." Goku smiles "I'm sure it'll be fine. I'll be back soon, I shouldn't be long."
"See you soon." Vegeta says as Goku and Goten leave.
Goku and Goten don't take long to get to Chi-Chi's house.
Goku takes a deep breath as he sees the door open. It was Alec. Goten heads inside to get ready for school the next morning.
"That guy of yours, he had some nerve speaking to Chi-Chi the way he did." Alec says
"It's not my problem." Goku says indifferently
"It should be, you may not be married to her, but she is the mother of your children." Alec says "If he didn't leave when he did-"
"You'd have lost the fight." Goku stands firm. "It doesn't matter who she is, she shouldn't have been prying into our relationship."
"It seems respect is lost on you both." Alec says getting visibly angry
"Respect? Ha!" Goku begins to laugh "That's rich coming from the man who went after a married woman! Oh, do give it a rest."
"It seems like you want to end up hurt." Alec growls
"You can't hurt me." Goku says with a sparkle in his silver eyes "You can't even touch me. You're just a human, you're nothing compared to me. Remember that."
"I'll gibe it a fucking go." Alec says
"Try it." Goku says squaring up to Alec.
Sure enough, Alec tries to punch Goku, who stops his punch with just 2 fingers. "I could put you through that wall if I wanted to."
Alec stares at Goku. Quickly realising he stands no chance, he lowers his fist and steps away with a growl.
"Nothing but a pathetic monkey." Alec says noticing Goku's tail.
"One that would wipe the floor with you." Goku smirks before turning away and leaving.
Goku eventually returns to Vegeta, who notices Goku was gone longer than expected. He instantly knew something had happened. He expected as much, but he knew Goku was more than capable of handling himself. He had seen it first hand.
"So, what happened?" Vegeta asks once Goku walked through the door.
"Alec tried to fight me." Goku laughs "He was just lucky I didn't put him through the wall. I only didn't because of Goten, otherwise I'd have happily done it."
"Why am I not surprised." Vegeta laughs as he rolls his eyes.
The next morning, Goku and Vegeta got up and got ready and headed straight for Beerus' planet.
Vegeta was quite interested to see how far Goku had come in those 2 weeks. He did hope that Goku wouldn't fall into that rabbit hole again though.
"Ah Goku, you're back." Whis says "You are looking better."
"Thanks, Whis." Goku says "I needed it, I guess I was just too blind to see it at the time. My frustration with Frieza got the better of me. Thank you for getting through to me."
"Well, I'm guessing you're ready to get back into it and continue where we left off?" Whis asks
"Yeah." Goku says "I've been doing a little training at home. I've gotten a better hang of Ultra Instinct in my base form. I've even managed to hold it in Super Saiyan Blue for a bit longer too, but man is it tough!"
"You're making progress, that's a good start." Whis says "Now show me what you got!"
Goku felt he wanted to start with his base form. He closed his eyes, inhaling and then exhaling in order to calm himself. He then opened his eyes to reveal his Ultra Instinct in base form. Whis smiled a little, interested to see where this goes.
"I want you both to come at me." Whis says
Goku and Vegeta look at each other, then nod before turning to face Whis once more.
Goku stood with a wider stance than his usual, feet positioned firmly on the ground, his body is relaxed and composed. Goku's arms are slightly bent, with his left hand clenched into a fist, his right hand is open and his fingers are extended. He made sure to wrap his tail around his waist, that way Whis couldn't decide to use it against him. He had to protect himself as much as possible.
Vegeta took his own stance, his left arm in front of him as if to protect vital areas, his right arm behind, leaving his body open, fist clenched, left leg in front of his right leg.
The Saiyan's look at each other once more, as if they knew what they were going to do.
Vegeta launched his attack first, Goku close behind. The Saiyan's essentially taking turns in attacking in hopes Whis would falter and make a mistake. Whis was strong and smart, and held his own effortlessly. The Saiyan's soon attacked simultaneously, but Whis continued to dodge.
Goku decided to add more to his attacks, and without stopping his attack, transforms into Super Saiyan Blue while keeping Ultra Instinct. Whis noticed the accuracy of his attacks increase, but still failing to land a hit, but Goku was still closer than he was previously. Goku focused as much as he could without thinking too much into it.
When he felt he was still falling short, he then seamlessly transformed into Mastered Ultra Instinct, continuing his assault. Pushing himself even further.
By now, Vegeta was in Super Saiyan god, but when he would try to land a hit, he would flicker into Super Saiyan Blue.
Whis decided to switch things up and suddenly tried to fight back.
Goku dodged with little effort, letting his body do the work for him.
Vegeta did his best to avoid the attacks but Whis was fast, and he did not have the same advantage of Ultra Instinct that Goku had. He took a few hits but didn't fall.
When Goku noticed his accuracy in the ability to dodge start to decrease, he took another form, True Ultra Instinct. Now it was time to let his emotions run wild all while using Ultra Instinct. His accuracy increased, and continued to hold his own, but Whis was better.
Whis landed a hit on both Goku and Vegeta at the same time. The Saiyan's stumbled, but found their footing quickly. Goku backflipped and landed gracefully on his feet while Vegeta Slid along the ground and used his hand to balance himself to stop him from toppling over.
The Saiyan's, without a beat ran toward Whis, and as if they could read each others mind, came together to attack. As Goku powered forward toward Whis, He dropped his arms down together, Vegeta jumped onto Goku's hands, and as Goku continued running, he threw Vegeta toward Whis. As Vegeta got closer, he transformed into Super Saiyan Blue Evolution. Vegeta tried to land a hit but Whis shifted out of the way. Vegeta landed behind him, and quickly turned to face Whis. Goku was in the middle of throwing a punch, and in hopes of catching him off guard, Vegeta threw a punch at Whis from behind. The angel stopped them both, catching their fists in each of his hands.
"Hm." Whis smiled "You 2 work well together. You co-ordinate your attacks gracefully, and many enemies would have trouble countering your attacks."
"You think so?" Goku says lowering his arm
"Indeed." Whis says lowering his own arms "You 2 have come a long way from when Lord Beerus and I first met you both."
Goku smiled, he knew he'd made a lot of progress and thus far, was confident in his skills. He put all this effort in to make sure he was on top form for when he came across Frieza again, now he felt more confident he could hold his own against Frieza's new form.
"I think Frieza is going to face a real challenge when you face him again." Whis says with confidence
Goku's face hardened a little, the smile falling from his face. "That is why I've been training so heavily. I will give him a run for his Zeni. I won't let him do that again."
"He won't." Vegeta says approaching Goku. "He's going to regret ever fucking with us when we are done with him."
"That I can agree with." Goku says with a smirk. "I can't wait to wipe that stupid smug smile off his face."
Goku and Vegeta decide to call it a day on training. Vegeta was glad Goku didn't try stay, who knows how long he'd be there otherwise.
He actually didn't argue on going home...well, I say home, he basically lives with me! Not that I mind. Having Kakarot around is nice. Its a change, and I like thought to soon we can find a place that can be ours, unless he's happy for us to move into his place, I'm sure Bulma would like the space...maybe it's something to bring up.
Goku and Vegeta left, heading back to Capsule Corp. Once home and laying in bed, Vegeta decided to bring up the topic and see what Goku thought.
"Kakarot?" Vegeta asks turning his head to face Goku, who's looking up at the ceiling.
"Yeah?" Goku finally turns to Vegeta
"So, uh, what would you say about us living together, properly? You know, somewhere that's not here." Vegeta asks
"Where? Like at my place?" Goku asks
"Yeah...If you wanted?" Vegeta replies
"I'd like that." Goku smiles "I'm sure Bulma would like the space."
"I was thinking the same." Vegeta says
"Well, when do you want to make the move?" Goku wonders
"Well, whenever you feel ready for it." Vegeta answers
"I'd do it tomorrow if you were up for it." Goku laughs a little
"I'm down for that." Vegeta smiles
"Yay!" Goku smiles in return
"Okay, so it's set!" Vegeta replies "I'll get all my stuff together in the morning."
"Don't worry, I'll help you." Goku offers
"I appreciate that." Vegeta smiles.
The Saiyan's fall asleep in each others arms, looking forward to the day ahead, and the future.
The Saiyan's woke the next morning, got breakfast and informed Bulma of the plan. She was pleased for them, and even offered a hand if they needed it.
Goku helped Vegeta get his things together. It didn't take long for Goku to realise that Vegeta didn't actually own a whole lot. He took minimalism to a whole new level. He seemed to own exactly what he needed and nothing more.
"You guys are still welcome here any time." Bulma smiles as she sees the Saiyan's before they leave
"Ah, well, we will be around." Vegeta says "We got to use the gravity room of course! Plus, Trunks obviously"
"Thanks, Bulma, for everything." Goku says with a smile.
"You're most welcome." Bulma says "I do hope you 2 enjoy this new adventure together."
"I can't wait." Goku says cheerfully
"I'll see you both very soon, no doubt." Bulma replies
Vegeta and Goku wave goodbye before leaving.
Eventually, they arrive at Goku's house. Goku went into the bedroom to make room for Vegeta's clothes.
Vegeta has a nose around, familiarising himself with his new home. It was obvious as dumb as Goku could be, he was very organised. Everything seemed to have it's own place. Vegeta knew he was never this organised, at least not to the extent Goku is!
"Hey, there's some drawers in the bedroom that are free for you to put clothes and stuff in." Goku says walking toward Vegeta
"Thank you." Vegeta says "You know, you're far more organised than I thought you'd be."
"I like everything to have it's spot." Goku replies "That way I know exactly where everything is."
"I'll try and keep up with that then." Vegeta laughs
"I don't expect you to change for me, Geta." Goku says with a smile "I like you just the way you are."
"I'm less organised than you, it might drive you crazy." Vegeta laughs again
"I'll manage, I'm sure of it." Goku smiles "You're not exactly messy."
"That's true." Vegeta says "But I will try do my best to keep everything as tidy as you keep it."
"I do appreciate that." Goku says
While Vegeta unpacked his bags, Goku decided to make lunch before he and Vegeta headed back to Beerus' planet for training.
He decided on Braised pork, black beans, rice, and Tomatillo salsa. He had not had it in a while, and it was one of his favourites.
The smell of the almost finished meal hit Vegeta's nose.
Gods, that smells amazing!Vegeta thought to himself almost dribbling over the smell.I cannot wait to dig into that. If it tastes as good as it smells, I'm in for a treat!
"Geta!" Goku shouts "lunch is ready!"
Vegeta wasted no time and made a beeline for the kitchen. "Holy shit, that looks good!"
Goku smiles, handing Vegeta a plate and watches as he takes in the smell with a smile.
Goku grabs his own plate and they sit down to eat. It's already clear that Vegeta was very much enjoying it.
"Holy shit Kakarot!" Vegeta exclaims "I didn't know your cooking was THIS good!"
Goku laughs at the Saiyan's reaction. "I'm glad you like it. It's one of my favourite dishes. I realised I hadn't had it in quite a while, so decided to make it."
"it's sooo fucking good!" Vegeta praises.
Once done, the Saiyan's cleaned up and headed out to go training.
The Saiyan's arrived on Beerus' planet and prepared to begin training.
"Goku!" Beerus says catching the Saiyan's attention
"Beerus, hey!" Goku greets the God of Destruction
"How is that Hakai coming along?" Beerus asks "I'm hoping you've been training it since?"
"I, uhh.." Goku scratches the back of his head nervously. "I kinda forgot.."
"You wanted me to teach it to you to use against Frieza!" Beerus exclaims
"I just got caught up." Goku explains
"Well, in that case you best feel you're strong enough to fight him without it!" Beerus shoots daggers at Goku
"I think so." Goku replies
"You think?" Beerus rolls his eyes and crosses his arms
"It'll be fine, he won't do that again." Goku says
"You're right, he won't, because we can't keep restoring Earth every time you fuck up." Beerus says "There's going to come a point where we won't be able to fix it if Earth is destroyed again."
"I know..." Goku sighs
Goku and Vegeta begin their training.
Goku now has to focus, he knew Beerus was right. there will come a point where he and Whis won't be able to fix things. Goku knew what he had to do, he had to find Frieza before he decided to come back to Earth. He had to put and end to him before any irreversible damage occurred. Goku was never one for finding someone and putting an end to them. He was always happy to just live his life and defend Earth if someone came along and threatened it, but he saw what Frieza was capable of, and how willing he was to do it. Frieza took out Earth once, even if it were temporary due to Whis rewinding time, but it was clear Frieza would do it again in a heartbeat. It had been nearly 3 weeks since Frieza had come to Earth, nearly 3 weeks since Goku watched from space as what was left of Earth shoot across the solar system. Nearly 3 weeks since he realised he couldn't always protect not only his world, but Vegeta.
That day had awaken something within Goku, a need, a desperation of sorts. A will he never fully realised he had.
Goku really pushed himself during his training, employing the same techniques as the day before, working on seamless transformations, the use of Ultra Instinct in different transformations, and the like. His determination became clear and obvious, not just to Vegeta, but to Whis and Beerus too.
Beerus watched with interest and curiosity. He watched the Saiyan switch forms when he felt he needed to. He noticed the look of determination painted on Goku's face, the desperate but co-ordinated attempts to land a hit on Whis. The will to not only get stronger, but to hopefully match Whis. With each swing, it was clear Goku tried harder, pushed himself further.
Goku did his best to keep his emotions under control. Goku breathed deeply and closed his eyes. He focused on the task at hand, while also letting go. Goku stopped trying, stopped focusing, everything he felt, he let go.
Goku suddenly realised he felt different than usual, he felt much calmer, much more in control. Goku if anything, felt nothing at all. He focused on his training, not why he was training, who he was training with, his hesitations, limitations and such but the training itself. The fight, the end goal. He had felt more at peace with his task than he had before, more focused. Goku had not taken a form, he had done this, and felt this way in his base form. It was the elegant purity of energy acting on instinct alone. He was Focused on Whis now, or rather, the battle itself. He put his whole heart and soul into the fleeting moment, putting everything else into the fire and letting to burn. The goal was for Goku to soon reach a realm deeper, faster, and keener than instinct, and soon even that would blur and fade; and beyond that? Who knows.
A few hours later and the Saiyan's finished their training for the day. Goku felt he had made a lot of progress with his training. Even now that he had ended his training, he didn't feel all that different to when he was training. He felt the Ultra Instinct was still going, and the silver eyes reflected that. Had he perfected it in his base form? who knows. Only time will tell, but right now, he was tired, hungry and ready to relax.
He and Vegeta were ready to head home, relax, eat some good food and have a good sleep. That was until they remembered that Bulma was holding a birthday party for Trunks. They did know they'd be able to eat well though!
The Saiyan's went home to get changed.
Goku wore one of his more favoured outfits. Green pants, brown shoes, a white t-shirt with his orange and black coat.
Vegeta opted for a light blue button up shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
The Saiyan's arrived at Capsule Corp, and it seemed everyone was already there. Goku even spotted Goten, who didn't take long to notice him, running over shouting in happiness. Goku greeted his son, and it didn't take long for him to notice a familiar face...Chi-Chi.
A frown appeared on Goku's face, but a small squeeze from Vegeta's hand on his own, and a smile from Vegeta reassured him that in the end, things would be okay eventually. Goku didn't feel up to dealing with her, but he was also not going to let her get to him.
He and Vegeta began to approach Bulma.
