Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle

With this chapter now it enters a practice round of Daniel training, the quartet on his own with the preparations of the oncoming war with the Ori. As the mutants in the season 10 episode looked like Demons, in the game, the dangers. And of said technology have become very real, as the practice to prepare that exchange begins. As practice gets progressively harder, the longer the episode is run through repeatedly.
As with this chapter is going to have it acting like when Jumanji turned itself into a video game and the main characters of the book. Become the non playable characters, as they lead Daniel and the team to the exit and report back. As this starts happening, repeatedly till they start on the next chapter of the video game, and practice now. And till they take out the Harbinger's mechanical twin brother now, as they practice now.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just, to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 132: New Futures And Fresh Starts II: Time's Arrow and Recovery II
"And to quote you now, Colonel, I'd say you lost what's left of your mind, by refusal to believe anything is possible, and impossible is a word we stopped using when we joined this program. You give up being a hebrew when you went into the military?" he asked and they all started shaking in fear. "I guess your piece of crap beliefs don't hold up against legends of real monsters: werewolves, vampires, mummies and the like." Landry said sternly to them then.
"This must also be why they, after fighting monsters for the last 999 years, they decided to leave it to the mortals, have us pick up where they left off. And after they passed, 900 years ago, because all movies are based on fact, all legends are based on fact. We read all the legends on wolves and vampires, and though they differed on a few minor points. They all agree on one: It takes silver to kill a monster and we are taking no chances now." Cam said sternly to this.
"And to repeat what I would say over the Wraith now, is I'm telling you, we've got to send these guys a message, we're not like the Ancients, we're not going to sit around and wait. If they don't back off, we have the capacity and the will to go kick their asses for a change. Because they have no idea in what the hell is going on over here, to realize. We been training for this for 6 years, just like been training to deal with the Wraith." Shepard said and they nodded then.
"Werewolves are only vulnerable to silver, vampires are allergic to that, sunlight, and garlic, one too many weapons, so stay in the direct sunlight and no going into the darkness. On Phobos, on Deimos, no wondering off and stick together, now guys I mean it now. This for now is a game, games have rules, you expect to follow these rules and your opponent to do the same. But when out there, is the rule books thrown out and they start cheating, so to even the playing field."
"You need an upgrade that matches whatever they have now, but wargames games can get dangerous, and as a result, is the 1 quarter/3 lives catch here. You strike out on the third, you have to start from scratch as you catch up to us, your mentor." Daniel said and they nodded then. "Yes Commander." They said together and Hammond nodded with a chuckle. "And instead of them coming to us, and show them how good really are now, we been preparing for this."
"That's a real revenant, a vampiric mutant?" Daniel said and Morgan nodded and he, Vala, Teal'C and Cam all nodded sternly. "Ideas?" Vala said and Daniel nodded. "If the legends are all true, then like all monsters, they're highly allergic to silver, silver kills vampires. Lessens a werewolves strength, that's real werewolf, and it took two ball bearings to kill Pennywise. In his natural form, so we go in, we go in with the good old stand by." he said and she nodded sternly.
"Shoot them, and do not get too close, if they can still talk." Vala growled and they nodded sternly as they grabbed their shotguns and cocked them in one fluent motion. "Silver bullets, on these monsters definitely, the others straight up copper casing. And with silver bullets themselves, we're going in, we're going in well armed here now. The legends are true, and once again…." Cam said and she and Daniel nodded sternly in agreement to that and Jack paled.
"Mythology, to these idiots, is all Rumors, Lies, and Fairytales, then how do you explain what she is showing us is real, these are advanced humans. Having been to farthest reaches of the universe, seen the pure evil and fought it. Seeing things that have traumatized them so severely it's wonder they can even think straight with their sanity and soul left intact." Daniel said and Jack started shaking in fear and Landry looked the camera and they all went white in fear.
"That's the haunted look in your eyes guys, you seen horrors, no skeptical human can face, without their sanity being destroyed, and with it their souls?" he asked and she and the sextet nodded gently to him. "That is why the masters are considered masters, they been through the flames and came out scarred, and more wise then any after seeing the deepest now. Darkness in their own souls, seen what true evil causes, my child." Galahad said gently and he nodded.
"The little boy I knew you to be, grew into the man that you would one day become, that though a young adult, this is how I see you, child." his counterpart said, as they saw him as an 8 year old and he looked down, with a smile softly then. "Your show on witchcraft and her currently dating the young guardian angel my boy, is actually you and them entirely. You hold the most fundamental knowledge of our kind right now, understanding it all right now, as rather then."
"In truth english, in private we converse in Latin, and to any that don't understand, it sounds like gibberish, but they see that the rules are a hindrance. That is why getting married to your guardian angel is against the rules." Godric said and he nodded. "I understand, you chose me from the very beginning, in many ways that you know trying to play god with others lives. It leads to disastrous consequences, but would you allow us to build that weapon, as Merlin now."
"Is currently incapacitated?" he asked and they nodded. "We would, Merlin's decision is against the ascended rule book, as is doing a christ, in being born from the forces either side. Someone else can be the jackal as you call the mother, Vala is needed here now, in truth. But you prevented her being sent there just in time, by you accepting the vision and changing it. This moment in time, only a mortal can build the weapon, you are it." Rowena said to him gently.
"Well at least I can divert to you, get your opinion, before taking it to my boss, and we go to the best way to handle this, so the show demons are not real. But the real monsters and creatures in your world are, ladies, Godric, Salazar?" he asked and they nodded. "Very much so, the books on our descendants are very real, so best you study the legends. And only then can you survive the fights and struggles that are ahead for you now, Daniel." Helga said gently to him then.
"So everything in your world, guys is real, vampires, mummies, banshees, werewolves, even dementors, which I would classify as the dark souls that dragged Bruner to heck?" Whoopi asked sternly and they nodded sternly then. "Like you said, you're holding onto a life that doesn't want you anymore, it doesn't want you, give up the ghost, literally." Daniel said and she nodded with bemused smile as Hammond tried to keep from laughing at her character's remark.
"Just one communion turns into hundreds and soon I got them coming in the door, and then I hear, after one of them was talking through me, I meant. That don't do that ever again, and without my permission, not a mental illness, I'm a real link between. I can link the sides, and now the sides are asking to talk to their lost loved ones right now. But that was ridiculous, as this time, I get called upon, to expose who killed Patrick and why." she said and he nodded.
"Looks like your name change was good for something and your ex record, was just wiped clean, you're a soothsayer, and a median between the living and dead. Your powers are that of witchcraft and as a result, in protecting Demi now, you just undid your old record. And made who killed him pay for it right now." Daniel said and she nodded, smiling. "Does that in anyway seem real to you, or are you just going to pretend that's a bunch of bull." she said and he paled.
"I mean really in two movies I'm a nun, and take on religion and my brand became Mary Magdalene now, and the one just 3 years prior, I'm a soothsayer. Who was a skeptic till I get real version of the ability coming in the door, and soon hundreds start coming in the door. And have to discard my old police record to help the girlfriend of my client expose his killers." she said and Jack swallowed hard at that remark. "Yeah and you changed fast." Landry said, smiling at her.
"You were saying here Colonel, rumors, lies, fairytales, how about mythology based on fact, there are real monsters and you just never knew it, werewolves. Vampires, how about shapeshifting aliens, and you knew what the hell you're looking at and Tim. In truth, was actually a god damn boggart!" Picard said and he swallowed hard at that remark shaking. "Tim's character Pennywise, an IT, oh no, no, he's shapeshifting monster." Landry said to this sternly.
"Then I think we all know in what happened here, Blade, the movie to the 10th power, Lilith, as a vampress tried to seduce them. With the offers of immense power, and enlightenment and when they refused, she turned them, but the changing backfired. And they came back in the way Curtis Webb had now, exactly as Taggert described, skin tough as leather. Ice cold and turning blue from lividity, absolutely no pulse, and started feeding on anyone or anything here."
"That they came across now, spreading the disease and every guard was either mutated or a zombie, that's a revenant, not a missile launching, dead human body. But a vampire that rejected the change and turned into a mutant." Daniel said sternly, detailing exactly what a real revenant was, not an frankenstein's monster. And Kinsey started shaking in fear at the manner, in which the true evils were portrayed and Jack swallowed hard and Landry nodded then.
Sternly and in total disgust at what the truth really was now, in what his job now had turned into, as to him and Picard, this had become a supernatural horror show. And one trying to destroy it in his planet and their galaxy's case as Jack swallowed hard in revulsion. At the definition to what the truth there was, and Daniel accepted his fate with open arms now. He was a multitude of heroes in the fantasy world, working at protecting their galaxy from the forces.
And of hell, and every monster that came out of it now. "Yeah baby, you don't have to give the grisly details, the imagery is plenty now, to what happened to our forces up there. The cannibalistic mutations, another word for that was transformed into revenants." Landry said softly, squeezing his shoulder gently, knowing the younger man had changed. And into his top fighter, protecting their kind from the forces of evil, in the only way he knew how to then finally.
"I know, but Sokar, Apophis, if they had soldiers like these guys, I'm taking myself out of it starting now, but no more, I can't go through it again, Hathor's order. Of taking me alive, I knew there was the possibility that she had a human soldier, like these bastards, or worse. With the effects being permanent, and him being woken up first, instead of the pheromones. His mind was set to the orders she gave him, with being fully awake, and his possibly seeing me."
"And undressed a second time now, but him with her, and I knew he was thinking, not now when she's always around us…." he said and Landry nodded. "The her being Carter?" Pulaski asked and he nodded shakily then. "The her breathing on me wasn't the problem, it was her control of him, and there were two choices. Give it up, host, or and I was praying she wasn't going to say separate us, as the connection was still intact." he said and they nodded gently.
"But no more, the bastards are the thing I hate most about military intelligence, just seeing his gear, with his initials branded into it, the thought crossed my mind, not just attempted murder, made to look like a suicide attempt, but rather attempted gang rape as well. I can't go through it again, they did enough damage to me right now, how can I be expected. To work with him, knowing his training is permanently stuck in the 'on' position." he said, his voice shaking then.
"Easy, easy, easy, shh, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay, it's the past baby, it's the past, it didn't happen, that's all that matters, Areanea made sure of that right now." Jacob said gently and he looked down shaking violently and Hammond nodded sternly. Knowing what the two colonels had done, left him permanently traumatized and Areanea's fast intervention. Then had prevented them from doing another round, as, pressing his forehead to his, to calm him then.
And he closed his eyes, before the older man hugged him and he tightened his arms then and Jack started shaking in fear violently, him, and them sending Makepeace. That the message was sent loud and clear, their orders under her control were permanent, and he was too sick. Now, to even handle being around them anymore, they traumatized him too severely here now. He would never be able to handle being around them, Sam destroyed her relationship with him.
That even Frasier's ignorance of their parents's decision of action over bloodwork was playing apart in all of this, altogether, he had enough, and staying out of their. To him, meaningless war with the system lords and sticking to his own war and against the true evils of the theology. The younger man, now looking and acting like the man playing the girls guardian angel. Had changed and decided his war mattered more finally, then wars against aliens who been there.
Longer then any of them had been alive, and even Teal'C had decided enough was enough. "It's okay baby, you're not going back, you're never going back, the ship is programmed to only us. And even then now, trying the Asgard beaming technology is not an option, because the shields are too strong, your signature is cloaked here, your's is, but their's is not. So trying to beam you out, or the gate, is not happening." Picard said and he nodded as he looked between them.
"Wes, Charlie, Robbie, I want you to create a security defensive chip, that blocks out Asgard technology, so they can't beam the gate anywhere right now. So they can prevent us from getting our job done, after the 5 years, in time dilation, comes to an end." Landry said sternly and the trio nodded sternly, as Wes gripped MacDougal's shoulder and she. Shimoda, Goldberg, O'Brien, Jenson and Argyle nodded in stern agreement, knowing what they had to do now.
"Sire I do have one question, how do those actually work, what are they exactly?" he asked and he smiled gently. "Commander, Admiral, you know what these are?" he asked and the two Jaffa masters looked at the table and saw a pair of bracelets and froze. "They are kormak." he said and Cam nodded. "Figures he might know, so tell me and the general what they are, if the King designed their's that way, man." he said and he explained that to him, Vala and Landry then.
"I have only heard of them in passing a very long time ago, but I believe it was Cronus who used this technology. And when a prisoner of value needed to be transported by one of his Jaffa. He would affix a bracelet such as this to both the prisoner and the Jaffa responsible for him. If they became separated for more than a short period of time, they would both become ill and die." he said and they nodded. "So orthostatic hypotension." he said and he looked at him.
"I am unfamiliar with that one." he said and Daniel nodded. "It's the symptoms and after effects of anemia, if you're not on iron to recover from the low blood levels, blood has high iron in it. For a woman once a month, if they don't get pregnant, then the nest for the egg not fertilized starts breaking up and coming out, when this happens you suffer hotflashes. And dizzy spells, if left untreated by plenty of high iron, can put you in the hospital." Landry said and he nodded.
"Then indeed, the symptoms are the same as hypotension, before the final stage is coma and then death, and this actually happened here. After Cronus's last prisoner escaped custody and the separation caused both him and the Jaffa guard. To become sick and die, so swift lesson and I have never used these, knowing how dangerous the technology is." he said and Jack swallowed hard. "Then I'm lucky I never used it on us." Vala said and he nodded in agreement.
"The only difference is that these are connected to the beta ring and not the alpha ring, so the alpha ring is your's alone, these are connected to the beta ring. And any planet connected to the beta ring, so there is no escape and even try to, is you suffer this ailment." Pyrus said and the trio started shaking in fear, realizing there was no escaping his kingdom's clutches now. "The Abydos cartouche is the beta gate, the repository is the alpha." Vala said and he nodded gently.
"Well there has to be a side effect, but combining the two technologies together must create a more lasting connection, but we're saved from finding that out the hard way here. So with that in mind, we forge our own path together, but honestly, I was Daniel's commander. During his first trip into the French ring, after they got snatched, I just started building my command. Over the last 18 months, this attempt at setting him up for attempted suicide, was the final straw."
"He was under my command, during the second trip to the ring, so third time's the charm and this time becomes permanent, as he brings his family gang, Louis and Teal'C with him. Before 3/4's of the SGC field ops came with right now in truth here, everyone here. In the SGC, was the other 12 teams, next to 1, 3 and 8." Landry said and she nodded in understanding. "So 60 members and 52 decided to get the bloody hell out of dodge." she said and he nodded to her.
"Exactly right now, and your home language here on earth is, though English speaking, you're, in nationality, from Wales, in the United Kingdom, there's Ireland. Great Britain, Wales and Scotland, you're from Wales." he said and she smiled. "Very well, just use my earth name Valerie, so on earth my name is Valerie Maldoran now." she said and he smiled and nodded. "Well that fits right now, in truth here is wrongly exiled, and you found a home here on earth."
"So in english is, Valerie wrongly exiled, for whatever reason, and your sanctuary is here on earth now." Daniel said and she nodded in understanding. "After being freed from being a host, I been exiled from my home planet, and traveling the galaxy, hiding my heart. Till you appear out of no where, and gave me a home now." she said and he nodded. "Issues in the job, so long as we're not driving each other crazy, you're my best friend." he said and Landry hid a chuckle.
"But honestly, I accepted my fate to what I have to do now, this is more important, then a meaningless fight with aliens taking on the identity of every deity in the books. This is the face of true evil, evil that we prayed had only been a fiction, but in fact was truly real. They always been here, but just in another galaxy, the stories and the bible are true and now. Now we have to protect our souls from the forces of eternal damnation." he said and they nodded sternly.
As they all looked at Jack sternly and he swallowed hard, now realizing what he perceived as evil was in fact meaningless, but the forces of true evil. They were what Daniel was preparing to fight now and he and everyone in the SGA, as they were trained. And in dealing with Ancient technology, technology that the forces of the SGC and outside forces now. As that of their minds couldn't handle it, and even trying to now, would destroy their souls and their sanity finally.
"I'm an angel, a whitelighter, trained by my bosses to fight the forces of evil, leading the good and pure souls as their guardian angel, you are my bosses, as mortals. My bosses are the Ancients, the whitelighter elders now, I'm a young elder, on the path of enlightenment. But I'm an elder, like them, this is what I have sworn to do, destroy anything and everything evil. And the only way to do that, is consider the greater good." Daniel said and everyone nodded sternly.
"And by the greater good, is by arresting anyone persecuting you and every gifted archeologist who can resist, but they can't, like the puritans arresting everyone like a witch hunt." Hammond said and he nodded, "Season 2, episode 2, Morality Bites." Chris said and he nodded sternly to the revelation then. "As she said, once you break the small rules, sooner or later the big ones get broken too, but they hate rules." Anna said and she and Jenny nodded sternly to the news.
"And on that comes the next game after fighting through a multitude of zombies and mutants now." Daniel said and they nodded, as Romero picked up from there at the remark. "Here's the next one, for the next game now, as you, though you just killed them all, 'Back at last. After days of hard fighting in space, you've returned home on well-earned leave. You're one of Earth's crack soldiers, hard-bitten, tough, and heavily-armed.'."
"When the alien invasion struck Mars, you were the first on the scene. By killing, killing, and killing, you won. You stopped the invasion, saved Mars base, and became a war hero, what they don't talk about so much is that your unit's the only survivor. But that's all behind you, you've just completed it, and are heading home. Your drop pod lands with a crunch, you open 'er up and look out. Damn: The city ahead is on fire."

"And like a zombie from a bad horror movie, as the realization starts forming now. Hell, not again! You can feel it: It's all starting again, just like on Mars. First, people are taken over, turned into cannibal Things. Then the real horror starts, the deformed monstrosities from Outside. But now it's on Earth, it turns out, from the report coming in from your superiors, that the invaders are all over, that you destroyed on Mars."
"Were only the beginning, the battle had somehow made it's way to earth, after you left a bloodbath in the previous country and you're seeing the monstrosities. That you killed, running loose here in America and the reveal is even more horrifying now. Monsters range from Tokyo to Timbuktu, from Stockholm to Scranton, billions are dead, some people have been transformed into flesh-eating mutants, but a few."
"A very few left on earth, as you breathe a sigh of relief, these mutants and zombies are not fully human, but rather clones. As everyone is safely in your colony ring, protected and the others on earth are all clones. As it turns out, your message coming through the broadband from your boss and mentor. Alerted them to the dangers and everyone evacuated after cloning themselves and heading for the colony ring."

The only thing left to do is, now, make sure who's left escapes earth, via the spaceships. That were, the forces had not discovered the primary weapon that would be used. To stop the attack from the surface, as that is their only victory, destroy the ancient weapon."
"As you gear up as you make your choice, you gotta go back into action, the pathetic remnants of Earth's soldiers are making an assault on the invaders at the spaceport. If you win, you might be able to turn off the barrier, so that the ships can leave. And Homo sapiens may not go extinct just yet, if you lose, that's it, humanity is history. You and your comrades make their attack, as soon now, brave officers drop like flies."

Something hisses with rage from the steel tunnels ahead: They know you're here. They have no pity, no mercy, take no quarter, and crave none. They're the perfect enemy, in a way. No one's left but you: You and Them." he read out and the cadets nodded sternly then.
"We're doing this one level at a time, nobody is rushing things and we're always sticking together." Daniel said and they nodded. "Better do a read back, so we know why the hell we're being called back to wherever here, in D.C., Saint Louis and wherever here. Because we just wiped out the invasion there in Wolfenstein, but somehow it escaped at the moment." Cam said and Romero nodded, as he read out the previous premise, before he did Plutonia next then.
"Well the theme tune to Cliffhanger fits this perfectly, since we all left, we're not in a fight for our lives that is no longer 1 step forward, and 5 steps back. And with it, the deliveries and stealing were now on hold, as we had brought back over 750 quadrillion in less the 10 months, And in that time now, we all saw that, having MIS involved in the program. Is slowing down productivity now, and none of us had ever felt stronger or more alive again, after 11 months."
"The job was funner, more invigorating, and we changed and became better people because of it, our parents and spouses could see it. We never enjoyed the job more, moving it here was really for the best right now and with it. As it had been, to us, the months prior to the accident, when we hit Sphere, stargate style." Lou said and Daniel and Teal'C nodded smiling and Hammond chuckled. "The opening scene, like he said, rock jock." Landry said to him, smiling.
"Yeah, in truth, that was me, after Sha're, but reversing course, it was now 11 months, since I left, and to you I changed and I never felt better or more alive now with you. Issues in the job, until now I never been in a better mood now, 11 months maybe, I had never felt better. In my freetime, not swamped with my other jobs, I was doing training here, that covered. In truth the areas, that the normal soldiers did, and this one is climbing the mountain range now."
"Just without being weighed down by rope and the other equipment, you knew what I was training for, as I lost my fear of heights and started enjoying this now then. We maybe on the edge of the cliff here, but hey this is way better then the Colorado Rockies. But nobody is doing this with minimal clothing, or you're going to freeze to death outside." Daniel said and they nodded. "And why am I even letting you do that's, beyond me." he said with a bemused smile.
"Yeah, just hanging out, if you seeing me, hanging freestyle off the side of the cliff on the holodeck." Daniel said and they started laughing. "Hey guys, sensors are picking up an aircraft, could be a space ship, coming in fast here." Harper said over the radio and he yanked his binoculars, before seeing steam coming off the back of it. And Hoffman, Coyote, Jackson and Schrieber nodded. "We need to check the computer to know that, but if this thing has the same access rounds. We're splitting up into 2 teams here, but to say this again right now, that if it was the NID that built that ship. If whoever never fixed the inertials wanted them dead, they'd be dead already and we had fixed that problem here right now." Hoffman said and she and Daniel nodded then.
"Alright best guess was they got sucked into a blackhole, got shot back to now and crashed. Instead of the Pacific Ocean directly at our back door here, we just wait for them to sink. And land down there at the time here now." he said and they nodded, as they headed back into the ship. "Teal'C, get the infra red on below the habitat, we need to see where it landed here." Hoffman said gently and Judge nodded as he turned it on
And as he watched it sinking at that. "Well just seeing this from our perspective, Antartica was being shared by every single country. We just manned the outpost, they don't want you in another galaxy, yeah okay fine, you stay here now. Barnes said and MacGregor nodded in agreement, smiling.

Or a lost soul and ripped the human soul right out of your body here." he said as he updated the imaging.

Are a more heavy set version to the shotgunners here." he said and they nodded. "We better make the zombie weapons M-211's, which Weaver named a SIGCOW now, with the shotgunners.
