Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: If anyone noticed continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now her in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 110: New Futures And Fresh Starts X
Avalon Continued:
"Teal'C switched sides when Hanno was 13 years old." he said and they started shaking in fear then. "Come to think it, that's a very good idea, there is no you, because you're civilian, the renegades never heard of you, as SGC-1 doesn't exist. The uniforms are blue, there is no Military Intelligences services now in this reality. As I can just recreate the reality that I walked into here, Catherine is alive, as are the guys, dad and whoever else, but there is no you."
"Therefore no you, Charlie, your Charlie, is alive, because he never fired that gun, and that gun, those guns all carry advanced intar rounds, created by my Sarah's father. It was loaded with intar rounds, so no Charlie dying means no suicide mission, no half the team being murdered. And certainly no Sha're and Skaara being taken, just a naquada drop off, as we do our delivery. We do our delivery, we're like everyone else here." he said and they all went white in fear then.
"As they never heard of Earth, because we never challenged them, we made friends with the Jaffa of the quintet or sextet. So we become like the Tollan, more advanced, stretching out, letting the animals roam free now. There is no war, only peace and prosperity, no more wars, no more fighting, Earth is saved, in 1991. When leading into when Apophis's Successor makes his appearance, the only war is the war with the renegades, but no Chulak now finally here."
"But our Charlie never got turned into a host, as it means no Cartego now, as Cartego resulted in Teal'C meeting me, Teal'C pretending to be a double agent. Living happily on earth, Drey'auc now, she's perfectly happy, Ry'ac knew his father is a Starfleet. He wants to be a Starfleet, there is no NID, no military intelligence, no corrupt senators and certainly now. No realism, but all saving the earth via erasing everything polluting it." he said and they broke out in a sweat.
"So no Cartego, means no meeting on Chulak, and no Charlie getting turned into a host, via larva goa'uld, no delaying to the last minute, means when they get on board. We can grab Skaara, and disable the shields, no return mission back to Abydos, means no harsesis. No Harsesis means no attack at my apartment." he said and she started shaking violently in fear then, now realizing what they decided made him decide to erase them from existence now.
As his wording made clear no them meant no accidents, no waiting till the last minute, Teal'C as first prime does not exist, and everything that came with it, never existed at all. "But Apophis never, through Teal'C, killed dad or the others, Siler, Walter Graham, Bill Maggie and others that I saw as friends, or were my family here at the time. As Charlie, Rick, Dave, Alex and Michael survived, but they killed Jack on that mission, the 7 of us survived and Charlie got us back."
"You're dead after trying to catch Apophis on Gaea, there is no SGC in this reality, we're totally liberal and honest about the job, there is no NID and corrupt military and government." he said and she and Jack started violently shaking in fear, knowing they finally done it now there. He was creating a reality, where they were all dead, but everyone he loved survived. And they were completely trapped in the hells they brought upon themselves out of their cruel decisions.
"Q, can you imbroaden the ability, make me like you, I can place us into our own little world, alternate reality matching the first one I dropped into but no me, no Teal'C and Bra'tac. And see where that leads to, as no us, Catherine, instead of retiring, I brought her along. That they kept the alpha gate, we had the beta and it's nor till the orbital attack we reveal ourselves. In where there is no NID, no SGC/NID operatives?" Daniel asked and he nodded, as he swung his arm.
And for a second time at him, and he started feeling his powers getting stronger. "Alright stand by now, aside from the show, the SGC ops no longer exist, and the NID are crazed. In jealousy fanatics, suffering a dictating need to control everything, this is going to last 11 months. I'm going to erase things, from the second you recruited me, to after Lou and Charlie gets back. But the quintet killed are all clones, the guys are here, so each one now, lasts 11 to 13 months."
"Between doses, so from now till the next cliffhanger, she doesn't exist, neither does Jack, although they're trying to keep the radio link up and running. But the SGA is in it's world, where we're doing this our way, and they're doing it their way. But our way was the first reality, their way was the second reality that walked in here at the time now." he said and they nodded. "Do that after we find the treasure trove, son." Landry said and they nodded sternly in agreement.
"Agreed, son we get what she decided is too much and beyond cruel in your eyes, or what he decided is, but there is need to kill any of them. Just separate the realities, the one currently has things as they are now, the other the utopia you're creating. God granted you powers to change the way things are, but you're not a god, you're not all powerful. You're just righting a wrong, they so cruelly threw upon you as a result of Hathor, let them go in this reality."
"They did this to themselves, they pay the price for it, in the one you're creating now, they've never existed, and neither did the NID, MIS and Kinsey, they never existed as they are now. Because we made it so she never joined the program, though I saved Jacob, Jack he stated in the real military, you lead the team and it became a meet and greet. Your twin went there and stayed there, you came back and created the secondary base, and your brother mine."
"So that solves that problem, we had two Jacksons in the program, your brother lead my version of the Archeology department, you lead Hank's. And all it is, is endless meet and greets." Hammond said to him gently then and he nodded, and he hugged him tightly and Barnes, Patterson and Henderson smiled, knowing only he could get him to see reason. As they did it then, as Daniel hugged him tightly and he smiled, knowing he took his decision gently.
"At least this is not the scene on your realization here, that my manifesting resulted in a split personality, and it's now clear, I could manifest the more scary parts out of books." Jackson said and Hoffman and Stone nodded with a bemused smile. "Yeah, but to over run the cabinets with the said book, is going too far there, the acting took it one step too far here. In that realization, but how stupid does she think you and Sam are exactly, you and me together in truth here."
"Advanced cryptography, I knew this, here's the one she's trying to use against you, but then, between you and me, Sam, we just put it together." Daniel said, putting the numbering on the table. "Stand by here." he said, and he looked at the computer then and the keyboard, changed to the numerical code then on the movie, before it started in a orb formation then "Reflected in an orb, spherical, take a keyboard, wrap it around the sphere, start with the center letter G."
"And number the letters spiraling out." Alexander said sternly, as he punched it in, on the cyphering code, as it went in a line of from G, till it finished and he wrote down each one. "As I said, mathematics here, is a language we both understand, and only an astrophysicist. Said can run the keyboard, we been together so long, we work well together, and Sam and Liev. They're your best friends, me, I'm a sister to you here, but she's clearly jealous we can work together."
"But rewriting this out is the same as any normal letter to numbers now, as such here, she screwed up the code on purpose, thinking you would never catch on. Only now we had, and now the realization hits, two members of the team dead, followed by us. She's picking us off one by one in the team, before planting the explosives directly below the ship. And we all realize this, no us, you return to Colorado, only we figured out her plan." Stone said and Hoffman nodded.
As they exchanged looks sternly. "Well this is simple enough, we plant clones of the team in the group, keep the real ones upstairs, then when the timer runs out. She sees that not only are the quintet still alive, you realized her plan and disabled it now. And now we have enough on her to have her committed for life, as the episode never goes through at all. As David becomes her archeologist now, as Jacob only knows David, not you Daniel now." he said and they nodded.
"Then again the 24 hour window leaves one chance, but getting little him to lay down after that head injury, after we shut her down, little him doesn't want a nap." he said and she hid a laugh. "Young man, you need to rest, you could be sick, now no more argument." Jackson said, looking at Daniel, as they heard a sigh through him gently. "We're not doing that argument, nap, no nap, nap, no nap, we're not doing that, with 3 year old you." she said with an amused smile.
'Book, then nap?' they heard and she hid a laugh. "Alright, 2 or 3 chapters, then you sleep, but we're not doing this everyday as you heal from your head injury." Hoffman said in response and Hammond started laughing. "And you thought being the real deal is bad, with the requests, little him inside his head, and he's so exhausted, it's after the stress wears off. We can all get a good 10 days worth of sleep, after, but 4 months later back at it." Patterson said with a chuckle.
"Brandon actually did this a couple times, when he was a 14 to 18, read to him when he was in bed, if he was sick, we did northern atlantic from time to time. So to little him this was completely normal as he grew up, then again, having that serum on board. It's little him is trapped in his adult body now, we just get enough to control the adult patients. With the cadets really cubs to us, with being grandparent age." he said and Hoffman shook his head, smiling.
"She maybe good at astrophysics, but she's no mathematician, to get after two attacks and you losing consciousness while doing the drop off this is a need. To get her decoding and rewire it and because her mind finally snapped right now, but that's because here. She's realizing, nothing she does is going to work, she even tried to set up a bomb down here. And Sharon rewires it, and now it's over, you just inputted outsider mental blocks to keep her trapped."
"As the sphere gave us the power to manifest the perfect world, and erase you from their memories, after everything here now." Barnes said and he nodded then. "Dad there it is, just to hold me hostage there, she's willing to kill anyone I feel an emotional attachment to. No anyone I care about and find happiness with, she thinks she's safe from going back in there." he said and he nodded as Henderson crossed his arms sternly, as Hoffman said his thoughts then.
"She really is an idiot, that ship, the one that crashed in range of us, the model from the movie now in truth, it has a lot of liquid nitrogen on it. That if it goes off, it's like the gate going off, destroying everything in a 20 mile radius. Destroying 1/4 of the planet, nothing would survive the nuclear fall out, she effectively murdered the entire planet Dustin." Jackson said and he nodded and she went white, realizing she would have blown the planet apart and via the ship.
"And there's why she's being convicted for attempted genocide, of 995,000 people on the ship, she's being committed and staying in that hospital for 3 years." Carson said sternly to this and she went pale at that, realizing they all had enough of her behavior then. She was getting the consequences for what she did to him, in the only way possible, by being in prison. And being placed in the maximum security wing of the psychiatric hospital for 18 months now then.
"Is destroying the planet worth your life and freedom, Captain?" Hammond asked and she started shaking in fear then, realizing the question, would she destroy the entire planet. The entire galaxy to keep the infliction, that which they brought upon themselves, from spreading. Or just leave him alone, as they lived separate lives, but she knew the answer, everything was expendable to free herself, and they all nodded sternly, knowing she made her choice then.
As he said out loud sternly at that. "Then you're expendable, you deserve to die here, if you're not going to use the sarcophagus, you're trapped and being committed for life. There is only one way to free yourself: the sarcophagus, if you're not doing it willingly. We leave it up to your father, young lady, and you're spending 15 months in the psychiatric hospital." Addison said sternly and she went white at that in fear, realizing to them, she and Jack were the threat.
"But you screwed yourselves over, everything regarding Hathor always ends in Shyla, only Shyla was beyond helpful, showing us how far gone that psychosis really is in you. So essentially here, you're the dangerous ones." Carson said and they paled at that: Daniel wasn't, they were, and because all they were doing was trying to protect themselves, to the Brass. In all 3 areas, saw them as crazy, dangerous and out of control, they needed to be confined and committed.
"And everytime said fight breaks out, you come charging to us, to calm down, more then once, as she starts to see. Your emotional attachment to us, is a thorn in her side now at the moment currently." Barnes said and Henderson nodded. "As to my inquisitive mind here, I just realized what the hell is going on around here, on my base and habitat. Knowing she's suffering from the said disease you're working out, plus her desperation to protect herself now, in truth."
"But the tension starts from pg.187 and starts turning into a psychological horror thriller from there, everyone who reads Crichton knows that." he said and Barnes nodded. "And there's why she's scared to delve deeper into it, based on psychology, she knows you're psycho analyzing. Knowing you don't see her as psychologically fit to be a deep sea diver here, right." he said and Hoffman nodded. "Exactly, and with that in mind." he said and crossed his arms then.
"My voice tones got a lot more stern here, knowing why we just lost the quintet of men that crashlanded just in range of the Enterprise. But there it is here right now, so with that in mind right now in truth." Hoffman said, and activated the playback with a change in the names. "She makes it real for you, she makes it real for me..., she has made it real for everybody. It's really frightening too now, as because you don't know whether it's really real."
"Or whether she's made it real for us to believe it's real, and it's because of the Sphere, in trying to understand here, why one of the situations. That is happening so far, was symbiotes, rather then snakes, I finally realized it here now. She's manifesting memories of when they captured two larva, and the fully grown one. That Hathor would have implanted her with." he said and she nodded sternly to the news then.
"Our Sam... our Sam is Cam?" she repeated and he nodded. "Come on, Karen, I'm just as tired as you are. Come on, I know you can get this, okay? Here." he said as he hands her a copy of Sphere. "Sam said she couldn't get past page 87 because she said it was too scary, okay, after reading 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea." he said and she nodded. "If there's nothing on the pages, where's the rest of the book." she asked, paging through it.
"Read what's on page 87, from Verne." he said to her then. "According to calculations of some naturalists, one of these animals, only six feet long. Would have tentacles twenty-seven feet long, that would make a formidable monster.'." She read out and looked up. She wrote that down, in a dog eared copy book of Sphere, after reading Verne?" she asked him gently at that news and he nodded as he crossed his arms then.
"Yes and what does Sam hate exactly here, Daniel knows her likes and dislikes better then we do and yet a fast test. And after Rosie made some fresh calamari, we all love calamari, that an outsider. Said who never tried true sea food now, what's the scariest version of this animal. And the said used to bring down ships all the time with us 47ft above its domain?" he asked and she nodded. "Colossal Squid." she said to that remark.
"And when she read that, it scared her, getting the picture, do you remember when all those jellyfish attacked, before Eric woke up now What was Sam doing?" he asked and she nodded. "Sleeping." she said and he nodded. "She was dreaming, and this is the really wild part - what she dreamed..." he started to say and she finished it. "Happened." she said and he nodded. "It happened." he said and she nodded, as she carefully read it out.
"That's why she came now, she's trying to prevent us from manifesting a world where Daniel was never part of the baseline program, and placing his clone. As his twin brother, in his place, Karen, if he's not going to listen to reason here. She's trying to make the point that being deepsea diver is just too dangerous. And he's better off with the flyboys, first animal attacks here, and then by sabotaging his gear right now."
"Only the mere thought of ever being around her, or O'neill, he barely lost control of his stomach, he hasn't been able to relax. Since the head injury and our time period is almost over." Jackson said and she nodded in shocked fury."You're telling me that because Sam went inside the Sphere, she now has the power. Just to manifest her dreams, her fantasies, her emotions, her fears." she said sternly to that and Hoffman nodded sternly.
"Manifest, she manifested it..., she made it happen." he said and she nodded sternly then. "Daniel just explained it to me, back in 1975, she and her family were on a swimming trip, when her father was on down time. And she got snagged by a squid, said that nearly drowned her." Jackson said and he nodded sternly. "And that's a normal sized one now, but ones this big, she manifested a big one." he said and she nodded to news firmly.
"Well, we'd better not piss her off." she said and he nodded, as he, Stone and Hoffman were still figuring things out gently. "She's losing control of the power, in fact these powers are becoming addictive, that she can't control herself now. It's like an E-ticket ride for her subconscious, it's the wildest ride you could imagine. It's the ultimate acting out, it's not that different when you're a child now, a child when it imagines something."
"Thinks that it's real, but it's not, but in Sam's case it is, it's in fact so real that it's not only real to Sam it's real to all of us. And what I can't understand is that ever since he went in the Sphere, the Sphere has some kind of power. That projects every subconscious thought that Sam has, out to the computer. It prints it out, and we interact with it, we thought it was Cam, it's not Cam, it's Sam. Sam's Cam now."
"I'm willing to bet here, is two fold now, half is total jealousy, look at how much we accomplished in 18 months, gathering technology. That makes the world a better place, as the power plants are shut down. We have naquada to create more reactors and the naquada reactors are replacing the power plants. We have a way to destroy pollution, without it destroying the environment, we have ways to arrest patients."
"Said so violent that they need to be in isolation, and 3 dozen other things, so 1 an inferiority complex and 2), her fears are symbiotes. And if we heard a scream yesterday, she manifested Aramis, and he cornered her in the bedroom. She's losing control of the power, to the point she's a threat to us and herself." Jackson said and she nodded sternly then. "Does Sam know this?" she asked and he shook his head then firmly.
"If she did now, then it's wanting us know they're trying to scare him back to the SGC, but after hearing the radio conversation between her and O'neill. I'm willing to bet now her subconscious is acting without her realizing it, then again. Daniel's pressure wash, of putting us in our own world just wore off, we have to do it again. And erase it from her mind, she never had that power." he said and Hoffman nodded in agreement.
"No, and what I don't understand is that you went in The Sphere and nothing happened here, we all went in, but we had the ability to control it now. Her, after I realized here she's willing to kill anyone, so he has no attachments. Just to bring him back to the SGC, she's out of her god damn mind, but you went in. And nothing happened here at the time." he said and she nodded then as she answered him then firmly.
"Obviously I didn't and why would I attack a team mate, we're that loyal to each other, then again just trying to scare her. Is the only option, it's not her manifesting these things, but me, I read her record after Dave exposed her now. And the girls, Dave and I decided now that I'm going to try, and I'm trying to scare her out of here. Before her anger at her not following direct orders destroyed her life now, kills us."
"Us, Daniel and the entire manifest." she said and he nodded. "That I understand, me too, squids, jellyfish, we know her fears and we'd never turn on each other. But her, she's trying to kill us, just so she can erase anything that is holding him to the SGA. So she feels safe again, she's like a leach, nothing holding him emotionally. And keeping him happy, she's seeing this as she's safe from Shyla's." Jackson said to her then.
"I was so angry at her, her attitude towards him, this cold blooded cruelty, he's just beginning to get over it, I wanted her to be scared, after what she did to him." she said and Hoffman nodded, knowing the duo were getting so overly protective of Daniel. They weren't allowing the NID to hurt him anymore now, if that meant if scare tactics never worked. Then, manifesting his existence out of the base program would now, as he answered her gently.
"Yeah if that's not big brother and sister nothing ever is, you took it upon yourselves to scare her out of here, by manifesting everything that she was afraid of." Hammond said in understanding and he nodded. "Well Sam's right, the mere thought of ever being around Jack again, I feel like I'm about to throw up, why would I ever go back. After he did that exactly huh, why, I never felt safer or more well cared for, then I did with Uncle Brandon and his unit now."
"So she can argue all she wants, I'm never going back, her cruel decision, she is no friend of mine, she never was." Daniel asked and she started shaking in fear, realizing it didn't matter what they said, he made his choice. "With us, the stress is bad, but as soon, as she's knocked unconscious now, it ends, she's being committed. And for genocide out of fear now, it doesn't matter what she says, if he did it once, he could do it again, and to Danny, it's screw it now."
"I'm never going back now, so save your breath, but this is playing havoc on his concussion right now, in truth, so enough already right now." Hoffman said sternly and Hammond and Landry nodded in agreement."Agreed, he's looking like he did after getting thrown out of the gate, that and the following morning after we saw him. Looking like he was recovering from a stab wound, and we reached our limit, if scare tactics won't work, then a stand off will now."
"But enough is enough right now." Haden said sternly and she nodded in agreement. "Maybe you had a right to be." he said and she smiled gently, knowing he wasn't angry at her way of trying to scare her off, before she killed Daniel. "Thanks." she said and he nodded as he looks at her. "I don't know about you, Brandon, but I don't feel like dying down here, not after 20 years of doing this, I'm not dying doing what I love." she said and he nodded.
"We don't have to kill her, we just have to find something to put her under, right? So she's in some kind of deep, unconscious sleep." he said to her then and she nodded. "Dreamless sleep, I hope." she said and he nodded. "These sadistic little monsters are clingy brats, anything connecting to his happiness, had to be destroyed, for their own safety. They're crazy jealous to the point of murder." Coyote said and he nodded sternly, getting up then.
Gripping Shanks's shoulders paternally and he smiled at him, the love in his eyes growing by the minute. "Point taken here now, here's where my paternal mode just kicked in completely, I'm examining this like any psychiatrist. But her desperation to protect herself, him with her knows no bounds, with him, it's a trio of drugs. But them, they're dangerous, to themselves and others." he said sternly as he wrote down what he remembered on Sphere, and altered it then.
"My little boy, my baby now, as such, after all the work I put in healing you emotionally, I'm not allowing the little shits to undo it all a second time." he said and Jack went pale, realizing he just undid all his hard work, and this was why he nearly killed him. "The little shits are not touching you ever again, I guarantee that now, but attacking a team mate. That's a big no no, and one severe enough to be killed by the JAG now." he said and they swallowed hard at that remark.
"The little boy I know just replaced the grief stricken man they turned you into, the emotionally damaged teenager, seeing this as I remember. But that look on my face, if I start finding these books all over the place, she's in big trouble right now. But evidently the little shits never considered the art right now, they were never serious about the craft." he said and Jack paled at that remark, realizing his being an actor then, he could be any career, in normal careers now.
And he fit the part so well, that whoever he was dealing with was being eviscerated vocally here, and now being around Carson, before he left to come back Colorado Springs then. He was doing this in only one way, and examining this as though he was Carson then. "You still never figured it out did you, Tim Allen started out as a tv actor, till he started making movies. He was you, before the stark realization, his narcissism was over, time to turn over a new leaf here now."
"But evidently you hadn't, you're still acting that way, a total ignorant little hotshot, thinking the world has to obey your orders, simply because you're military intelligence." he said sternly and Jack went pale, realizing he did think that, and now he was screwed. "Well you're wrong, you little brat, and newsflash, is that the world doesn't revolve around you, As the MIS/NID, you have to follow orders, because you're green level." he said and Jack swallowed hard then.
"And, evidently, is that Hamners had level cherry red, borderline brown, so that outdoes your clearance level too, but me. He's my baby, my little boy, but you're not taking my son away from me here now." he said sternly and he went white in fear then. "Let's rewind it, Ente, as the books not done, we're erasing the casting call here from it, so we just remove it. In having the cast in it, and have it played back now, as though we are them, so erase the casting here."
"Rather then us being there in the room, we are the characters we playing and we're all playing three different characters, in my unit's team, in the case of Outbreak.
