Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle

Warnings: Alright from here it's going to match the dialog now, as the rest of the story is finished from here. So this is going to cover the aftermath to Past And Present. And the following portion the end of Need. Only in Daniel's point of view, so here's the rest of the storyline now, from here. As this portion covers the opening of the beginning of the book, before they arrested the quartet and McKenzie and the next is on Need.

But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.

He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.

With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one side of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.

The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.

This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.

Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.

As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.

This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.

As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Disclaimers: I don't own the shows, the story belongs to everything else belongs to the creators and the movie companies.

Chapter 179: New Futures And Fresh Starts VI: Time's Arrow and Recovery II

"You and President Clinton, you decided to take up your position now, before the elections here?" he said and Bush nodded gently. "Yeah I had, but what they did under him is illegal, and it's making him look back, making him seem like dictator. That's not what I'm looking for, I had a fast discussion with Saddam, and we came up with a plan to insure. That if they're trying to keep from getting shipped back over seas, there is no other choice." he said and he smiled then.

"I'm not allowing it this time, but the spring cleaning protected you from attempted assassination attempts Sir, so you're ready to go, but your office in the White House. Is quadruple security starting now, and I'm working on a safe house for you and the other leaders. So by the time they get released, things had changed so much, you're safely protected and one of us that had mastered our powers is your personal bodyguard." he said and Bush nodded then.

Smiling gently in affection at the dedication he had to him, in protecting him then. "Well let's keep it going here." Henderson said and they nodded, as they saw her in the helicopter, as they were flying to the ship. Said that was the docking spot for the choppers then, as she woke up from her nap, as she relaxed. "So where exactly are we now?" she asked and he pointed out the ship. "That's where we're headed, over there." he said and passed her binoculars.

"Here, take a look." he said and she put them up. "What is that?" she said as she saw multiple subs and a couple ships surrounding a spot on what appeared to be the water side of the ship. "Wow: All that for the research results at WRRC?" she said and he said it. "They never mentioned any research results." he said gently as they heard it. "All officers be prepared for sudden blizzard, storm coming in from the north." she heard as she got on.

After arriving she had been there for about three weeks, in the base academy advanced training program, for entrance into the diving teams, as Picard went to evaluations. After it only been a year now at the time since they saw each other last. "Danny, upload the exchange between me and her, is because here is always duty the truth now. We all knew why she came and to us now, she was still being treated like a traitor, as we all had that concern at the time here now."

"If she did it to you, would she do it again to someone else, and throw a team mate to the wolves to save herself." Picard said, coming in and he nodded. "Yeah that and a reckless daredevil stunt like attempting to escape the mine at the time right now. This is the lower decks, Stargate style and Danny is a skilled commander of 5 years training, and he was well known." Henderson said and she swallowed hard, realizing even after a year they never let it go now.

Now knowing, she didn't have what it takes to be a Starfleet officer, and was being sent back to the SGC. "Lieutenant, you're with me." he said sternly and she nodded shakily, hearing the paternal tone saying that she was about to be evaluated. Because she was trying to get into the diving team to try and convince Daniel to come back now. "Bridge, You are a certified pilot, Lieutenant?" he asked and she nodded, realizing she was being regulated to piloting now.

Rather than the diving teams then. "Yes, sir." she said and he nodded, as they came into his office on deck 26, overlooking the real bridge. "How long have you served on board the Enterprise, Lieutenant?" he asked and she said it gently. "A month, Sir." she said to him then. "I see, I understand that you've been recommended for the Diving team position. So tell me, do you think you're up to it?" he asked her and she nodded gently then to him.

"I do, sir." she said and he crossed his arms sternly then. "Yeah this is like being on the space station, like Will said, I'm here to train you guys, in the mental and physical rigors. Of life in space, so you don't freak out on the astroid, in this case, it's the same thing, but my unit now. Has the training, and Dustin's team is the one going in, till we swap positions here at the moment." Commander William Edward's said and Picard nodded as he heard his remark to this.

As they remembered his double's remark to her now, and her not realizing now, that to the diving teams this was serious, and they knew if she did it to Daniel once, she would do it again. And not one of them wanted to be assigned as the diving instructor meant to sign off then and on her entrance into the diving team program, her name always brought it back then. And to the very same conversation now, on the escape from La Rochelle, and Daniel's nearly being killed.

"I'm not so sure, I'm concerned about your record." he said and she looked at him confused. "Sir?" she said and he clarified it then. "The interplanetary incident that you were involved in at the SGC now, over La Rochelle and the cave in you caused." he said and she froze then. "With all due respect that was 2 years ago, my record, since then.." she started to say and he over rode her then, knowing only he could evaluate this right now.

"It doesn't matter how long ago it was, Lieutenant, would you do something like that again?" he said and she jerked, realizing Daniel getting her to confess, had them thinking. She would turn on a team mate repeatedly, and he had to make sure. "I can assure you, sir, that I would never, never jeopardize lives by participating in…" she started to say and he finished that. 'Young lady, doesn't matter how long here.' they heard sternly to that then.

"As I said young lady, here duty to the truth everything, and a Starfleet's officer's first duty is a duty to the truth, be it scientifical, ethical or personal. And it is the founding principle on which Starfleet is based here, on this ship now, we gave you a chance to come clean. But we knew your lying repeatedly, and get caught in your lies by Daniel at the time. With the help of Pyrus's courts, so tell me the truth." Picard said sternly to this, as he heard Patrick's remark at that.

"A dare devil stunt such as another escape attempt right now, I would certainly hope not, but what concerns me is that you participated in a cover-up. And that impeded an official investigation into the near murder of a fellow team mate right now." he said and she swallowed hard. "Sir, I know I should have told the truth right from the start and told you and General Hammond the truth." she said and he nodded sternly to her.

"Yes you should, but you didn't, instead you joined with the others, your commander, Colonel Makepeace and Adam Johnson and pretended that was simply an accident. Now, what do you think that tells me about your character, hmm, what does it say to us exactly, you tried to put the blame on him. And for your own mistakes, knowing damn well he dies here and you're being imprisoned now?" he said sternly to her then.

"Sir, if you had any idea what it was like after that incident. I didn't have any friends. I didn't have anyone to talk to. I had to take my training test with the diving instructor because no one else would be my partner. In a lot of ways it would have been easier to just walk away, but I didn't now. I stuck with it, doesn't that say something about my character, too?" She said and Barnes exchanged looks with Haden, who nodded then.

"Well I'm really very sorry you didn't enjoy your time at the Academy, Ensign, but as far as I'm concerned, you should have been expelled for what you did. Quite frankly, I don't know how you made it on board this ship, you're dismissed." he said and she felt her heart fall into her boots then, that was it, she was never living this down. And for life after this, she destroyed her life, and it was no one's fault, but her's, duty to the truth in their eyes.

After 2 weeks being repeated scrutinized and reviewed for activation to the diving teams, as she got approved to go to the diving teams then, as the ensign came to get her then. "Any other gear? Watch your step." he said, leading her into the diving team barracks then, as she answered him. "I'd like to call my family." she said and he said it. "We'll get you settled in first, then send for you." he said to her then and she quickly said it to him at that remark.

"I'd like to get started." she said to him then. "We'll send for you." he said firmly as hearing the commotion in the hallway then, Alexander turned the corner. "Lieutenant, with you a guest in our department, I suggest you just can the attitude right now. But whatever you're arguing about can be taken up with Dave at the moment." he said and she looked at him. "That's why I was sent here." she said and then saw Walker at that.

"Why are you here, Walker, hold on, hold on 18 months ago, I remember the officers looking like Sphere cast and…, Parker, you and Alexander. You're Henderson's unit, what the hell are you doing here?!" she said quickly in shock and he crossed his arms. "I work here Lieutenant, but you would do well to watch that attitude of your's. And your language, or did you forget who you're talking to here right now." he said to her then.

"But I could ask you that very same question at the moment, Lieutenant, if you remember me and Ted now. Then you remember Karen, Dave, Derek and Brandon at the moment, but yeah the team chosen. And to run this operation is mine, and Daniel's busy at the moment, but anything to question about. You can take it up with Dave, when he comes to get you for the debriefing here." he said sternly as the ensign then.

In response, was gripping her arm, moving her to her room then. "Take your hands off me, please, do you have any idea who I am?" she asked and Alexander crossed his arms at that opinion then. "Well he might, if you tell him the name of the book you wrote." he said in irritation, knowing with her in the SGC military, everything about the galaxy was classified. And Daniel published another 15 novels, and since he retired from the cartouche directory now.

"Yeah by then I published another 15 novels and my works are getting much attention, I'm the most well known archeologist on the planet, as I picked up where my parents had left off. And now they know my theories were bang on, though I'm not about to put Nick's theory. And to the test, and while my theories got validated his hadn't and he's still seen as a certifiable whackjob." he said and Rodney nodded. "Yeah we could publish our works now." he said and they chuckled.

"I've been trying to call..." She started to say and the ensign grabbed her by the arm. "Would you stop touching me?" She demanded, now realizing everyone possibly knew she been in the hospital, and this was why they were being so stern. "Wait a minute, I..." She started to say, and then saw Daniel, rounding the corner with Parker. "Daniel?" she said in shock to that, now realizing Henderson's unit was the one chosen for this dive now then.

Before the ensign closed her door, and they nodded, as Daniel and Parker walked up, and he flicked the sound proof mode on her door. "She can have access to food, water and the head, but otherwise, she's not leaving this side of this ship. And till Uncle Dave arrives for the debriefing, understand Alex." he said and he nodded. "Aye Sir, I understand." he said and he nodded as they heard Apone's team over the channel with a bemused tone then.

"Hicks, what's your 20, exactly?" they heard and they heard a gentle tone. "We're almost done here, but the shaft after setting up the tubing, once connected to the door. I checked the door, it's warm to the touch." he said as they heard Ripley. "Any idea what's going on in there, it crashed a month ago." She said and he answered her. "I'm not entirely sure Elaine, but if it's warm to the touch out here, has to be as hot as hell."

"In there." Frost said as they heard a bemused joking tone in Hudson's voice. "Yeah man, Ellie, but it's a dry heat." he said and Apone said it bemused. "Yeah alright, knock it off Hudson, we have work to do, Dan, as soon we get the pipe up and running. The mission is all your's here, we're first shift, before you take over." he said and the 4 of them all nodded. "Yeah alright, we better help mom." he said and the trio nodded then.

"Nice replay of the exchange guys, after you were searching the derelict ship that the xenomorphs were on." Daniel said and the team nodded, smiling. "Yeah that and knowing you had a lot of friends as a Navy deep sea diver why would we ever let you return to that. This is where you belong now, but you had the finishing touches and you're a Jedi version here. And Timothy's character." Ewan said, smiling gently as Sam swallowed hard at his remark then.

And as she heard another ensign over the P.A., system. "All units make your flight quarters…, condition one, stations for landing, stay clear of the fantail.." She heard, realizing the ship had become the continent's version of the mountain rescue, if she saw the rescue tower from the chopper. As Barnes arrived and with a knock the door, he opened it. "Carter, you been here long?" he asked and she nodded in annoyance as she said it then.

"I've been here 24 hours." she said and he nodded. "Welcome aboard." he said and she said it. "I been here 24 hours, and passed the exam review why am I still being stonewalled." she asked and he lead her down into the briefing room. "Hold on. We'll get to that." he said and she said it in aggravation, realizing in 18 months, she completely forgot how stern he, Patterson and Henderson were then as she said it to him then as she answered him.

"I don't even know who you are." she said, and he nodded, knowing she possibly forgot him and Henderson completely. "I know who you are." he said and she said it carefully then. "Who are you: Navy, Military, what are you?" she asked and he said it then. "You ever hear of the OSSA?" he asked and she nodded. "Yes." she said and he nodded. "They don't know who I am, that should reassure you." he said and then said it sternly to her then.

"Hey look Lieutenant, you haven't talked to anyone about this, have you." He said and she nodded. "Yeah I talked to the pilot and Jack." she said and they heard it, knowing this was enough to confirm she tricked Hancock. 'Jack again, the little bastard is still at the forefront of her reasoning, yeah she's still convinced she needs Daniel. In order to feel safe, but the answer is still no.' They heard sternly and she went white at that in fear then.

"As King had said, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, but fool me 3 times and shame on both of us." Daniel said, quoting his exact remark. "And I know how smart she is, I know she's only telling us, what we want to hear here. I know she doesn't really believe anything she's telling me, the day I release her, I know if I put in minimum security. That she'll just try to escape again at the moment." Boen said sternly and she went completely white then.

Now realizing, he knew, they all knew exactly why she came, it was to talk Daniel into coming back then, and to them the answer was still no at the current moment. "What'd you tell him?" he asked as he looked at her from the bottom of the staircase then. "I told him I was here to see the progress results that my side has been making on the program, that's my job." she said and he nodded in relief. "Progress reports. Good." he said and she froze then.

Now realizing that's not what she was there for. "There was no request to check on progress on my side." She said and he nodded. "Spacecraft." he said and she nodded, now realizing a ship crashed in the Antarctic, she knew about the current one, after the separation 11 months ago. "Oh: A spacecraft, I guess that explains a lot, NASA?" she said and he nodded. "That doesn't surprise you?" he asked and she nodded then, as she said it then.

"At least it explains the secrecy." she said, knowing this tended to happen all the time, after Daniel found the weapon now. "The secrecy's critical, Lieutenant, Daniel made that explicit in his report." he said, walking back up to her. "What report exactly?" she asked and he read it out. "The ULF." he said and she looked at him in shock. "Daniel wrote that for the Bush administration back in 1989." she said in shocked disbelief and he nodded smiling.

"And that's our bible here, every jot and tittle." he said and she looked at him in shock, now realizing Daniel's life had taken such an up turn. His life had been fixed and her life had been destroyed, simply because of her arrogance. "You don't remember me, Brandon, or Derek do you, just who do I sound, like maybe said character come to life. Like the man playing him at the moment, but this was his report at the moment to us now."

"The president's father used it, before he himself does at the moment, are you listening right now." he said and read out his report, and she swallowed hard, now realizing Daniel had changed completely into a skilled officer as she heard it then. 'Missions in anthropology, entering a new state of development change from variation to variation. But must be met with extreme caution, because, food and drink can be drugged.'."

"Or worse, the culture is hiding some dangerous secret behind it now, that beneath that kind persona, conceals a threat. To both your soul and sanity, and entering combat situations, the stress reaction from what is to come, must be prepared. As having seen a variety of stress combat situations in the past, subjects must not think the job is useless, or the damage to the person's sanity will be the inevitable result.'."

"While officers attempting deep sea exploration, must train and understand the rigors of living underwater. As astronauts do being in the space station, the job comes with severe physical and emotional. Stress, and in order to stay strong, must train in the conditions set to the circumstances. Extraction teams dealing with traumatizing combat situations, must be prepared, for severe psychological side effects.'."

"Of that environment, as stress reaction when of studying that possibility has not been sufficiently studied. And can not be entirely predicted, in advance, but the most likely consequence, of contact, is absolute terror.'." he read out and she swallowed hard, now realizing his report had become a way of life there, to prevent trouble. As they worked off the trouble areas that he never had, when he switched departments after leaving the SGC now.

"Only problem is your ignorance resulted in you being changed halfway as you never considered taking his opinion, or listening to his opinion till it's too late here. But if you forgot my face and my voice, I'm the commander that came with Brandon and Haden. When he got transferred from the SGC to SGA, but these missions are not a joke and this was part of that mission log since the program, in truth here now."

"Now, became public knowledge." he said and she said it. "But that was a report about a possible encounter with a new civilization or with an alien being." She said slowly, and he nodded smiling. "You wanna come with me?" he said to her and turned and headed for the conference room and she swallowed. "Oh, boy." She said, now realizing what she got herself into then, as she saw the the trio, before seeing Henderson, Walker and the quartet.

"Hey Ted, 10 bucks says we find one on the ship." Walker said smiling and Daniel chuckled. "Double or nothing, says we have it matching the movie." He said and Henderson looked between them. "Alright guys, I know you're taking dibs here, but I'm not taking that bet, if this completely matches up here." he said and they nodded. "Yeah alright down in front guys, settle down." Barnes added, smiling gently to that remark then.

As Daniel was sitting between Parker and Levy then with Henderson looking up to check on him, and Alexander smiled at the response. In seeing his arm across the back of Parker's chair, knowing he and the 7 had a beyond deep bond now. Being as he knew the quartet beyond well now, they were his adopted family. "Eric, how was sparring practice today." he added and he smiled. "He's getting better and better everyday." he said and they nodded, smiling.

"About three weeks ago, a ship laying fiber-optic cable between Tierra Del Fuego and Falkland Islands hit an obstruction. Cut this cable here clean as a shears, that Navy got interested, sent out a search ship, it turned out that what did it, was this." he said as he turned on the tape. "We took this with SLS: side-looking sonar, this is an aerodynamic fin longer than a football field, bigger than any known wingspan."

"This is the fuselage." he said and Daniel crossed his arms. "That's a hatak sized version of the cargo ships in size, but that's looking man made right now." he said and Barnes nodded gently then. "This is ultra-high-res SLS bottom scan, came in a week ago, there it is, buried under about 2 feet of coral." he said and Sam froze up. "Something's wrong
with that measurement: Pacific coral grows an inch a year." she said and Daniel said it.

"Are you a PH.D., in marine biology now, Lieutenant?" he asked and she froze. "Yeah that brought her up short, if she's trying to throw her weight around. She doesn't know what she's talking about, the ship landed a month ago and got stuck. There in the coral, after crashing 8 yards into it." Parker said and Sam swallowed hard. "You can set your watch by it, growing a half an inch every year, but that's the Pacific and Atlantic oceans." Parker said to this.

"That's right." Barnes said smiling, knowing the real expert knew this then. "So you're saying this spacecraft came from the year of, uh..." Sam asked and Walker completed the sentence. "That's 2065." he said and she finished that. "So you're saying this spacecraft crashed 65 years ago." she said and he shook his head. "No he's saying here right now, that it crashed a month and coming from 65 years into the future." he said to her then.

"That's impossible." she said and Daniel crossed his arms. "Oh right, like traveling back in time, is impossible, alternate realities, when did you become a cynic exactly. Then again, it doesn't surprise me here, every time you never see what I saw. You see it as impossible or drug related." he asked and she jerked at his remark, shaking then, realizing it was again, as she never saw it, she was trying to cast doubt on his findings once again then.

As Barnes said it then, gently. "It's not impossible if this spacecraft came from one of our colony ring, the idea is to determine which one here." he said then and she froze in shock. "Wait a minute, you think this is a spacecraft, if from one of the colony sun years into the future, it's not impossible, it's ridiculous." she said and he turned to look at her then. "Oh like finding those coordinates was ridiculous?" Daniel asked and she went pale the .

"You been out of action for 2 years now, and still never changed your opinion, this is not going down that road twice here, lieutenant. But you're here as it provides a change of scenery, but this doesn't mean anything. Or that I changed my direct opinion of you, or of Jack O'Neill now. And after you ripped my heart out 18 months ago, so can it right now." he said and she swallowed hard at his remark, realizing it then.

He still never let it go, or he was treating her with the type of respect she deserved, which was none at the moment, after she ripped his heart by delaying till the last minute. "Easy buddy, we understand, but just a single mission, one mission and only one. And everything goes back to normal for us now." Barnes said gently to him then and he nodded and as she froze and saw the irritated looks on the sextet's faces then and swallowed hard at the response.

"We think this ship is from one of our colony ring, that's why you're here, basing this on the Jackson report now, is we have a biochemist and marine biologist. To assess the physiology of any Unknown Life Forms on the ship at the current moment here. A mathematician, because that'll probably be our common language, an archeologist. To assess the time scale and language syntax of where it came from and finally now."

"Is we have an astrophysicist to locate its place in the cosmos." he said and she said it, looking at the firm look on Henderson's face then. "Led by a psychiatrist." she said and he nodded. "Right." he said as they heard a bemused mental tone coming from a purr next. "Here it comes, just can't resist making jokes over alpha being a mind healing cat, in leading them right now." They heard then and MacGregor started laughing at that remark.

As they heard a real meow and he looked at the door. "Hey buddy, came to check on us?" he asked and he meowed as he walked over and jumped on the desk then, as they heard Walker's remark then. "So that's what the little green men are saying nowadays, 'Take me to your therapist?'." he asked and the others exchanged smiles, as Parker looked at Henderson as he gave her a smile, as he checked Sam's file. "Mm-hm." he said as Barnes answered that.

"Listen up." he said and read out the expansion of Daniel's report then, as Sam swallowed hard then, realizing they been using Daniel's report so much. The results were the findings were exactly that, over the last 18 months the SGC ops stopped. 'Contacts team missions in anthropology, entering a new state of development change from variation to variation.

As having seen a variety of stress combat situations in the past, subjects. Must not think the job is useless, or the damage to the person's sanity will be the inevitable result.'."

And can not be entirely predicted, in advance, but the most likely consequence, of contact, is absolute terror.'. That's from Daniel's report." he said and she stood up to get a better look. "Are these parameters correct?" She asked and he nodded to her. "Yup." he said and she quickly verified it to get it all then gently at that.

"You're saying that you have a spacecraft over a half a mile long, that crashed into the ocean, only a month ago and it's completely intact?" she said and he nodded then. "That's right and the kicker is our sonar is picking up a low-level hum, something's still running inside." he said to her then. "Hold on, there's no way this coral could've grown faster than an inch a year?" She said and Parker nodded firmly as she said it then.

"No." she said and Daniel exchanged smiles with Alexander. "Yeah here it comes, she thought we'd be doing this, the way they made Titanic. But never we'd actually prefer going down there in perfect to check on it, see if it's still salvageable at the moment." Collins said and Henderson nodded as Alexander said it. "That's what we're going there to see, isn't it." He said and she froze in shock. "What, who says we're going down there?" she said in shock quickly.

"You got to be kidding, right, we been arranging to check this out after Alex and Ellie's team completed the tubing. And Nathan's team just completed their interim. It's our turn, as we investigate the interior of the ship." Parker said and she swallowed hard. "And therein lies the problem, I'm a water Cub, I prefer being on the water. But if you're afraid to that deep, now might a good time to pull out." Daniel said and she went pale.

Never estimating going down there in person, thinking they'd be running this via the computer monitor, not actually go down the rest of the way to check on it. "Lieutenant, that's a joke, right, this is the greatest scientific discovery since Copernicus. Bigger. The idea of how far we come in only 65 years, it'll change everything here of what we see. Physical evidence of extraterrestrial life: You don't wanna see that?" he asked her then gently.

"Well, I gotta say, I resent this briefing very much." Walker said and he sighed. "Oh Jeez." Alexander said, knowing the exact reason he was acting like this then. "And how's that, Eric?" Barnes asked, knowing why he was acting like this. "If Daniel's report calls for a biologist, archeologist, a mathematician, an astrophysicist. And a psychiatrist, then why are you here?" he asked, looking at her and she froze then, knowing he was onto her.

She only wanted into the diving program so she could try and convince Daniel to come back, but the answer was still no. "Physical protocols start in a half an hour, if you're coming, then you need to be checked out. As this is what you wanted, wasn't it, a chance to see what we found, but in doing that, is by going in person." Barnes said and she swallowed hard, never anticipating a live dive, she thought this was going to be computer surveillance.

But not a live dive, and now realizing what she signed up for here, it was then she realized that she was about to be stuck in a tin can that one thing went wrong, was going to implode. Or just explode, as they ended the briefing on that, as Davidson ran her through it then. In just what the situation was going to be, as the debrief ended on that, as Daniel went to help Levy. In getting the supply list set up for the mission's groceries and medical supplies set up then.

"This'll be a saturation dive: You'll be going to a habitat in 1000 feet of water, now a sub will take you to the habitat and you'll transfer aboard. At 1000 feet, your body will be pressurized for that depth, that you could actually take a quick dip. As the pressure wouldn't bother you, although I wouldn't recommend it, because the water's so cold. That you'd freeze to death in less than two minutes that's the reason here now."

"And for the diving suits, now helmet has a rebreather for your air supply, and following this briefing, I'll take you to an on board dive tank. That for the next eight hours you'll train in deep-saturation dive techniques and emergency procedures. Once you've gone down 1000 feet, if you surface, you'll have to commit here now. And to several days of decompression." he said and she froze in shock, not realizing that part.

"How often does he do this exactly?" she asked and he explained that. "Commander Jackson has done this another 30 times since he got reunited with the Captain. But he's been doing this, since he was 13, the job is easy when you know what to do. But I need you to understand this next part right now, once you resurface now. Back on deck 60, you have to submit for 10 days of decompression now, as a result here."

"There is no real quick return to the surface, however, there is a mini-sub that may be used as an emergency escape vehicle. But there must be a ship at the surface to make to for decompression here now. Now without decompression, your body would literally burst, as the pressure is like carbonation Under these circumstances, you're very well-controlled, the dive has been planned well and professionally monitored now."

"Now this diving is going to take exactly 13 minutes, with you going from the ground floor, to the docking station with is the last 600ft…" he said and Daniel nodded. "Yeah she's starting to zone out, on that, that just figures, in forgetting the most important parts. To the training here." he said and Barnes nodded gently to that, as it just forward 24 hours then, as they saw her climbing down then into the sub at that, as Daniel looked at her then firmly.

"Sit anywhere." he said and she took the seat next to Alexander then, as Daniel was sitting next to Walker then, as Henderson was next to Barnes then in the cockpit at that. "The descent will take about 13 minutes, descending at 80 feet a minute." he said, flipping switches, as there was a shudder, followed by the water growing darker then. "It's going to get chilly, so try to relax." he said to her as he pressed the final button then at that.

And she sighed as she answered him then. "Next time, just tell us when you're going to push the button." she told him and as the quartet were discussing something she heard the co pilot checking perimeters then. "Descent Sub 1 to habitat, shows us at 200 feet." he said and Barnes nodded, as Walker looked at her. "How you holding up, Captain Nautical?" he asked and she said it shakily. "I'm loose." she said and he nodded then, as he repeated that.

"You're loose?" he repeated, knowing she was scared, but of what, he didn't know yet. "She hates deep sea diving, though why is beyond me at the moment." Daniel said and he nodded as she said it defensively, realizing he wasn't going to protect her secrets anymore. After what she did, with Jack's help at the time, he wasn't her team mate anymore. And therefore wasn't honored bound to protect her secrets. "I'm loose, I'm loose." she said to that firmly.

Before there was a slight jolt and admitted it then, as Henderson moved back to join them then, just as the jolt nearly knocked Henderson over and he guickly grabbed him then. "Come on, sit down, before you get knocked over, Brandon." Walker said as he took the seat next to him and Daniel and sat down then "I'm uptight." She said quickly and Daniel called out to Barnes at that. "We okay, Uncle Dave?" he said and he said it gently to him at the question then.

"Yeah we're fine son, and don't worry about it, we're in the river now." he said and she looked at him. "What river?" she said and he explained that to her. "It's a temperature-salinity differential, it flows like a river inside the ocean. With us between the Antarctic and south-eastern pacific here." he said and she repeated that. "We're in the middle of the ocean, under the ocean, there's a river." she repeated and he nodded.

"Yeah she's getting annoyed here, that we never told her this, before we did this dive, but there's their characterization for missions, throw them in and hope they float now." Barnes said and Henderson nodded in agreement, realizing this was the piece she had to learn. As Daniel had been doing this so much he was used to it, and once again she was the rookie. As she learned in on the job training. "Jim, Larry, are you monitoring." Daniel said into his com.

"Yeah we are, signatures are all in the green here, Dan, though your's is greenish yellow, so better relax man, okay." Jamison said and he nodded. "Agreed son, calm down, as this mission is only a change of scenery, not full time now." Henderson said and he nodded with a sigh, and she tried to control her uneasiness, realizing here they were worried. "What's that mean exactly." She asked and he explained that firmly to her then.

"Remember the life sign detectors that the Towani family was wearing on the movie." Henderson asked and she nodded and Daniel explained that. "The ship created them, for the teams, that bracelet you're wearing is the life signs tracker. In indicating in good health, so the monitoring is from green into red, red means bad here. Like seriously bad now, green is everything's fine, yellow is unconscious, orange in truth here."

"Code red medical emergency and is on the edge of death, red is your heart just stopped beating, and you flatlined now. So the teams can monitor each other's health now, when on missions and I never take mine off. Which this has been going on for 18 month so the guys, Vala and Karen. They know if and when I'm suffering a flashback or not." he said and she nodded in shock, never thinking this was good for psychiatric care too.

"That's right, and those are never taken off either when we're down here at the moment, understand." Barnes asked and she nodded shakily, realizing then here that this was a way to monitor each other, in case of trouble, and they been using it for 18 months. And they made it saturation proof from the gases inside the habitat now, as they heard metal creaking "Those noises we're hearing, that's normal?" she said and he nodded to her then gently.

And as he turned his head. "Those noises are the water pressure attacking the sub's integrity." he said and Daniel looked at her then. "You know a little something about that, don't you, Sam: How the pressure can attack your integrity." he asked and she sighed. "Come on, you be nice this trip." she said and he said it. "Were you nice last time, I mean what night and week, did you choose exactly?" he asked and she went pale then.

And Walker looked between them. "Point taken, but could you be anymore inconsiderate or rude, did you deliberately forget the date at the time. Or are your pathetic lives more important, then other people's feelings, their happiness. Or do only your lives and feelings matter." Parker said sternly and she swallowed hard, realizing choosing that night was beyond cruel and inconsiderate then, before something got Alexander's attention.

"Good question there, and I agree with you, son, Karen, what she pulled that night, was cold blooded, cruel and inconsiderate, this, from what George told me. Was not only your birthday party, but it was also your transfer full time to me. And her choosing that night now, is not only beyond rude, it's also saying they could care less about your birthday. Or your feelings right now at the time here." MacGregor said and Haden nodded in stern agreement at that remark then.

"Lord, what close to 3 weeks does to you right now, I never felt more at home here on the ship, or more part of the team now." Vala said and he and Teal'C nodded smiling in understanding then. "Yeah well I think we're the Milky Way version of John's unit with him and Rodney from Earth, and we meet his intergalactic members in a few years." Cam said and Daniel nodded. "And I'm not quick to anger, but a bit of a wise guy, as you say." she said and he nodded then.

"Like Catherine said, she's you, and I'm Owen, or to put it to our favorite crime comedy, you're Leslie, I'm Michael." Daniel said and she nodded with a chuckle. "And keep it up and you're going to get it, but a debate breaks out, and I'm taking the pillow to you, now can it already." Cam said and they nodded. "Indeed, I hear this enough from him and O'Neill already, before we been transferred, that I don't need to hear it from you as well." Teal'C said and she nodded.

"Was that what really happened 4 months ago, they tried to change the brass's mind, but the gauntlet got thrown, before you tore them both a new one?" She asked and he nodded to her. "Yeah needless to say after she tried it, Chris and Martin ejected her from the party, as we were talking, and none of us were ever more furious they chose that night to attempt it." Warren said and she nodded. "As you said, get over yourselves, deal!" she said to this news the sternly.

"My God, Daniel, look at this, look at this." he said and he turned to look out the window. "Jesus! That's just the fin, Ted, look at it, whatever the planet that created it, used to make it, over estimated the size, if it landed barely 47 feet directly below us." he said and Parker nodded smiling, as she and Walker looked out the other window then. And, as Sam saw the lower drive section, only the red lights signaled where it was, as she saw seals.

And orcas swimming near it. "That's the habitat, the Navy moved and set it up as a base, as we do salvages down here. It's manned by 2 naval personnel and will be your home away from home as we investigate the spacecraft." he said and she nodded. "It ain't the Motel 6." Alexander said, reading the look on her face then, as they arrived at the docking bay, as Fletcher checked the screen every few minutes as she called out to Renfro and Levy.

"All personnel: Descent Sub 1, engaging lock area." she said as she carefully equalized the pressure so they could get in and smiled. "You are now depressurized." She said and Daniel opened the hatch and helped Parker out first, as they left the sub then, as she followed them into the chamber next to it. "We're going to pressurize you now, I know it's hot in there, but you're going to feel coolness. That's the helium." Barnes said and she repeated that.

"Helium?" she repeated and Alexander looked at her then. "Was I the only one listening?" he asked as the door closed, as he explained this to her. "Oxygen is a corrosive gas in the same family as fluorine and chlorine, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid. That's why we're breathing helium, because oxygen at any level higher than 2.3 becomes toxic." he said to him and as the duo were trying to keep from laughing at that explanation then.

"Can you run that by me again, Ted, I don't speak balloon." she said, before Daniel and Parker started laughing and she looked at him, before realizing what she just said. "What, Oh that's my voice, the helium resonates differently with my vocal cords." he said and Walker said it in a dead pan then. "Follow the yellow brick road." he said and trio started laughing at that, as Henderson and Barnes exchanged bemused smiles at that response.

"Yeah no matter how many times we do this, the side effects are still the same, no matter how many times we use the helium, it's the same response every time. And you still act like teenagers at the moment, in kidding around here." Henderson said with a bemused smile and he nodded in agreement. "Yeah and there's the case of being with my best friends on the team, we're still teenagers growing up, but Ted's Charlie, I'm Adam." Daniel said, smiling then gently.

"Yeah best friends, we're your best friends and your quartet, we're that close now." Walker said smiling and Parker nodded in agreement with a smile then. "Issues in the job, once we put our heads together we can break down what the problem is, once Teeny needs a hand. Or Queenie does at the moment here, but out of the 11 of you, I'm closest to you 6. And very good friends with Jim, Alex and Larry." he said and she and Alexander nodded in agreement, smiling then.

"Yeah alright kiddies, cut it out, the voice regulators are behind you, put them on." he said, as she quickly put it on, as they grabbed their's as they came on line then. Setting up in operations then, the team was surrounding Fletcher and Renfro then. "The Navy dive team is setting up a hydraulic robot in the air lock outside the spacecraft. We'll use that to open its door." he said and Daniel's eyes narrowed, as he and Walker sat on the stairs then.

"Yeah well check the door numbering code: D-6, Edina, this space craft, is from the jarhead section of the program at the moment. Instead of going by the names of our countries, like we had in the Ancient repository. This is going by the sector of the American state that the owners of the ship belong to." Daniel said and Barnes nodded, as he saw the number. "Delta Echo, Delta Six, District Edina." Parker said in agreement then.

"District 6, Edina: Minneapolis, Minnesota, they're the grandchildren of the recruits, I flunked in my program and sent to the SGC for real training." he said and Henderson nodded, as they heard a mew, and their cat poked his head through Daniel's arm then. "He's our team cat, his name is Goldie." Alexander said smiling as Walker stroked his head fur and she looked at them in shock. "Here it comes now, in the scrutiny." Walker said to that look then.

"You let pets in here, isn't that a little dangerous?" She asked and Daniel crossed his arms. "The enterprise was allowing cats and fish into it, I don't see a problem here, it's like Alien and he's an exact replicate of his movie double." he said and then said it then. "But trying to see flaws in my way of life, because I refuse to come back, after what you pulled, just answer this right now, who in their right mind would come back."

"To be the physical and verbal punching bag, of the biggest drug addict in the SGC, huh who exactly, I said it repeatedly. I'm not coming back, my wife is pregnant, and I'm an expecting father, but really. If this is the reason you wanted into the program, to talk me into coming back, you can take it and shove it up your bum. As you're wasting your breath, Lieutenant, I'm never coming back." he said and Walker said it then.

"Agreed and again Dan, we get it, but you lose your temper you're going to destroy something, we get you're furious at them and you have every reason to be. But remember what we and Liam are, Danny, it's okay." he said and Daniel nodded, as he closed his eyes as he tried to cool down and the cat gave a warning meow to her. And she swallowed hard at that response, knowing he was telling her to drop it now, before he lost it.

"Is that the door?" She said with a sigh and Barnes nodded. "Yeah, we used sonar imaging to pinpoint it before the divers went down." he said and Alexander nodded. "How tall is that robot?" she asked and Fletcher explained that. 'So now what, are you a multitude of PH.D.'s in training papers, if you're pretending you know everything here right now.' They heard sternly through a bemused meow as Daniel looked at the Cat gently at that remark.

"Oh great, we now have the cat's mental voice ending up on the video now, alright boy, we're not doing this all day, with you warning her off, besides, you love Sarah. And know baby kitten is and was just fertilized, but you know this, 3 months to you, is 9 months to us, so us humanoid cats take longer to grow, before birth then you do now." Walker said and he meowed in agreement to that remark, knowing he was looking forward to seeing kitten in 18 months.
