"How have you been doing Evans?" I asked in a too gentle host manner as I put down the coffee cups.
" Potter- you don't have to-"
" How have you been doing Evans?"
"I have been doing fine, what about you?"
"Oh just the same monotonous and miserable life of a ministry official , it becomes difficult especially when you are the heir of one of the sacred families left"
"And Remus? Although we met a week back it feels like I am seeing a new person."
"James, Don't be upset" pled Remus.
" Why would I be upset thinking that my mate just hid something from us for a year?"
" James-"
But I hushed him by giving him a good look asking him to shutup.
" Why?" I asked , my question directed towards Remus.
" Potter..mean James..I had asked Remus to hide it from everyone, and I assure you I have a good reason for doing it." explained Evans as I shifted my attention from him to her.
" Oh really? You really don't think we all care about you? Me, Sirius, Peter?"
" As if."
" No Evans, No. We all care about you and were definitely shocked when you disappeared just after NEWTS, we tried finding you until last year when I gave up, we gave up. And you come and tell me to calm down? We are friends aren't we? So aren't we supposed to care for the each other and have the right to be angry? "
" James -" pleaded Remus again
"What?" I snapped.
"Sirius ... Sirius knows." He replied back.
"I am sorry what?"
"Sirius.."
" I heard you." I sounded as shocked as my body was shocked by this revelation.
"I didn't tell him purposefully," he added quickly.
" Then? You told him accidentally but who I am? I was definitely not looking for Lily."I shouted
" James!" Lily nearly shouted as she thumped her cup on the table "Listen to him!"
Like an obedient child listening to his mother , I shut my mouth.
" He caught me writing to her"
" Go on Rem, don't wait for his approval " spoke Lily without taking her eyes off me.
" So he caught me and inquired me and I had to tell him but I made him make the marauder's promise of not telling anybody. Especially not you"
" Can we call him here?" I asked like the same helpless child .
" Alright, I will send Sirius and Peter a patronus right away." Spoke Lily although uncertain but ready.
