The Autobots were at the flight deck and shooting down the Vehicons. "The Omega Lock's control station is located on the lower deck." Ratchet explained over the comms. "Come on!" Chromia said, and they infiltrated the warship.
Ratchet drove through the halls and transformed. "I am making my way there now." He said. "Copy, Ratchet. We will rendezvous at the objective. Arcee, lead stealth team to secure the Omega Lock. Ultra Magnus, you and the Wreckers storm the bridge. Prevent the Decepticons from targeting the device if stealth team is delayed." Optimus said as he flew towards the Nemesis high above Earth while dodging incoming laser fire.
"Optimus, if we fail to secure the Lock before it's ready to deploy, do we destroy it?" Arcee asked. "I do not intend to squander a second chance to restore Cybertron." Optimus said. Ultra Magnus threw a Vehicon into another. "Wreckers." He said, and Wheeljack and Bulkhead joined him. "Bee, Smokescreen, Chromia, Jetfire, Cyclonus, with me." Arcee said, and they took off down the halls.
Smokescreen saw Megatron ascend to the flight deck. "Smokescreen!" Arcee said. Smokescreen joined them. Megatron watched from the side of the Nemesis as Optimus dodged the turrets. He lept off the side and swung the Dark Star Saber. The purple umbra wave flew at Optimus.
The umbra wave damaged his jetpack, and Optimus spiraled out of control as he flew past the Omega Lock and landed on one of the ship's wings. Megatron used wind to carry himself back to the warship. Optimus looked at the Omega Lock, then started climbed up the wing.
Smokescreen transformed. "Go on without me." He said. "That isn't the mission." Chromia said. "There's something I need to do." Smokescreen said and phased into the wall.
Ratchet noticed two Vehicons guarding the entrance. He readied his swords, killed both Vehicons, and entered the chamber. He saw the tanks filling up with Cyber-Matter. "Shut it down, Shockwave. I cannot allow you to harm Earth." The medic said.
"The planet will not be harmed. Only its indigenous lifeforms." Shockwave said. "Over my Sparkless husk." Ratchet said. He lunged at Shockwave, but Shockwave threw him aside. Ratchet attacked, but Shockwave threw him into a canister. Ratchet ran at him again.
"Ratchet, we're approaching your position." Arcee said as she, Chromia, Jetfire, and Cyclonus, ran down the hall. Starscream and his Seekers appeared. "What?" He asked. "Scrap." Jetfire said. "Attack!" Starscream commanded, and the Vehicons fired.
Knockout threw his tools around. "Pack light, pack light. Ooh. Pack smart." He said and grabbed his buffer.
Smokescreen phased into the vault and found what he wanted. "I was hoping you'd still be here." He said.
Soundwave monitored the terminal when the Wreckers blasted into the area. "Secure the bridge!" Ultra Magnus commanded. They shot the Vehicons down. After that, they bolted for Soundwave, but he opened a Ground-Bridge beneath the Wreckers, and they fell into another room. More Vehicons surrounded them.
"Ultra Magnus to all units, we will be delayed. Soundwave pulled one of his relocation tricks." Ultra Magnus said. "Raf, can you get me onto the warship's bridge?" Jack asked. "Sure. Now that I have a fix on it. But you won't have a chance against Soundwave." Raf said. "I will if I have backup." Jack said.
Ratchet was thrown against the containers, and Shockwave aimed his cannon until the machine beeped. "Lord Megatron, the Omega Lock is fueled and ready." He reported. The floor opened above the Omega Lock. Optimus was standing on the wall and fired his minigun.
Optimus was suddenly shot and tackled to the lower part of the Omega Lock by Megatron. The warlord kicked the fallen minigun away. "Shockwave, commence Omega Lock firing sequence." Megatron ordered.
Time was running out.
Shockwave pressed a button, and the Cyber-Matter started draining from the tanks and into the Omega Lock.
Knockout cautiously walked through the halls with his buffer. He turned a corner and hid when he found the Autobots battling the Vehicons. "Scrap!" He groaned.
A Ground-Bridge opened at the entrance of the bridge, and four Vehicons pointed their triangle-shaped cannons. Jack and Elsa came through first. "Surprise!" Elsa said. Miko came through in the Apex Armor and bodied 3 Vehicons down. "Pick on someone your own size!" She said, then the last Vehicon shot her.
Miko threw the Vehicon near Soundwave but missed. Miko ran at Soundwave, but he opened a Ground-Bridge and started walking towards Miko as she stepped back. "Oh, no, you don't!" Elsa yelled.
Purple magic surrounded her hands, and she released a large bolt of magic and struck Soundwave in his chassis and hit Laserbeak as well. The portal closed as Soundwave grasped his chassis as he felt his Spark flicker. An ice-cold Laserbeak deployed from Soundwave's chassis but turned to ice and shattered to pieces when he hit the floor.
Soundwave saw his servos be covered in purple frost as a curse took hold. He grasped his chassis again as he felt his Energon veins freeze over. "What's happening?" Miko asked. Soundwave fell onto his knees but weakly stood back up. Purple frost covered the corners of his visor.
Soundwave extended both of his tentacles, but they froze and broke off. He extended a servo at Jack and Elsa. But Soundwave's entire body was covered in purple ice, and he stopped moving. His servo inches from the children. "Good riddance, freak." Miko said.
"Come on. We need to figure out how to navigate this thing." Jack said. They ran to the controls. Leaving a dead Soundwave frozen to the bridge.
The Omega Lock filled with Cyber-Matter as Optimus and Megatron fought. Megatron swung the Dark Star Saber, but the umbra wave hit the wall above Optimus. Optimus kicked the Dark Star Saber from his grasp and punched Megatron. "Shockwave, prepare to fire - WHAT?!" He started, and the Nemesis swerved.
Jack and Elsa were trying to steer the Nemesis, and Miko was stumbling around. "Where'd you both learn to drive?" Miko asked them.
The Autobots held onto the walls as the Nemesis swerved again. "Special delivery. That way, right?" Smokescreen asked as he ran through with the Star Saber. Smokescreen managed to activate the Phase Shifter. Starscream yelped as Smokescreen passed through him and phased into the Cyber-Matter chamber. He disabled the relic. He saw Ratchet distracting Shockwave and Bee, and the Autobots entered while fighting the Vehicons.
"Optimus, catch!" Smokescreen yelled. "Smokescreen!" Ratchet warned before Shockwave blasted Smokescreen away.
Starscream ran for the Star Saber, as did Shockwave and the Autobots. Chromia grabbed a Vehicon and smashed it into Starscream. He turned around right before she punched him.
Shockwave shot at Bee but missed. The scout threw the Star Saber into the air and punched Shockwave in his only optic, knocking him over. Bee leaped into the air and grabbed the Saber. Chromia and Cyclonus watched the scout run across the room and jump down onto the wall of the Omega Lock as Optimus kept fighting Megatron, who had created a sword and mace out of ice, but Optimus knocked his weapons away.
"Optimus, you must use the Saber to destroy the Omega Lock. It is the only way to save Earth!" Ratchet yelled. Optimus heard Bee buzz and saw him jumping down from the wall. "The Star Saber!" Megatron growled and pushed Optimus away with a blast of magic as Bee lept off the wall.
Megatron aimed his cannon and fired 3 shots. Optimus pushed him, and the 4th shot went wild. The first shot hit Bee in his chassis, making him let go of the Star Saber as the next shot hit him. The Autobots tried to stand up and help their friend, but the Vehicons pinned all of them down as the third shot hit Bee.
Optimus watched in horror as the scout fell. His optics flickered before going dark. The Star Saber clattered to the ground as Bee landed in the Cyber-Matter. His body sank and disappeared into the Omega Lock. The Autobots were horrified at what had happened to the scout.
But Optimus was hurt the most. He glared at Megatron with hatred as that same hatred filled his Spark. The warlord grinned maliciously at the Prime. "NOOOO!" Optimus cried as he started brutalizing Megatron and punched him against the wall, and the warlord fell down. He saw the Dark Star Saber as Optimus approached him. He turned his servo into a cannon and prepared to kill the warlord.
Megatron grabbed the Dark Star Saber and swung it. The umbra wave sent Optimus flying over the edge. Megatron stood up and stomped toward the edge where he saw Optimus holding on. "Prepare to join your scout in the Allspark!" The warlord snarled as he raised the blade.
"Megatron!" An unfamiliar voice shouted. Megatron turned around, and something stabbed him. His venting became ragged as he looked down and saw the Star Saber sticking out of his chassis, held by a fully revived Bumblebee. His wounds magically healed. Everybody stood still.
"You took my voice. You will never rob anyone of anything ever again." Bee snarled in his real voice before shoving the Star Saber further into Megatron. Megatron groaned as he raised the Dark Star Saber, but it slipped from his weak grasp and fell to the Earth below.
Megatron attempted to conjure his magic, but his servos stopped glowing as he was getting weaker. The warlord fell to one knee and grabbed the Saber. He tried to stand up but fell again. Chromia pushed the Vehicons off Smokescreen.
The other Autobots stood up, and Starscream put his servos on his helm in utter horror. Megatron's breathing became even weaker, and the Dark Energon glow on his Decepticon insignia started flickering. Starscream felt to his knees. "Lord Megatron! No!" He cried. The symbol stopped glowing, and Megatron's optics went dark.
Nobody reacted as the warlord started sliding off the blade. Nobody reacted as Megatron fell. Nobody reacted when his body became a fireball in the atmosphere and disappeared as he plunged into the Pacific Ocean.
Bee extended a servo to Optimus and helped him up. "I will avenge you, Master!" Starscream vowed, but Shockwave grabbed him. "Starscream! Do not be a fool!" He said. "Curse you and your logic!" Starscream snarled before Shockwave and the Vehicons ran away with him. Bee and Optimus climbed to the chamber above the Omega Lock.
"Bumblebee!" Ratchet gasped. "Your voice." Chromia said. "My voice? What are you -" Bee stopped when he realized he was talking. "My voice!" His battle mask deactivated. "Ratchet, I have my pipes back!" Bee said and hugged Ratchet. "Yes! Yes, we noticed!" Ratchet said.
"The Cyber-Matter." Bee deduced. "It is the only possible explanation." Ratchet said. "It would seem the old field medic made good after all. Optimus Prime to all units, Megatron is no more." Optimus announced. Everybody on the Nemesis and the Harbinger cheered.
"Wreckers, a job well done securing the bridge." Optimus congratulated. "It wasn't us, sir. The credit belongs to the humans." Ultra Magnus said. "Hoo-yeah!" Miko said.
"The Omega Lock is under our control. I propose that we put it to good use." Ratchet said. "Agreed, old friend. Ultra Magnus, set course for Cybertron, and send word to bring the Harbinger as well." Optimus said. "Hey, Raf. If you could tear yourself away from your laptop for two seconds, get yourself and the Harbinger up here so we can get to Cybertron already." Bee said.
"Who is that?" Anna asked. "Bee?" Raf realized.
A Space-Bridge opened, and the Nemesis, accompanied by the Harbinger, flew toward the dead planet of Cybertron. Starscream and Shockwave ran into the chamber where Megatron defeated Predaking and saw only one escape pod left. They looked at each other and ran to it. The pod fled the warships and flew to Cybertron.
"Your elbow articulator is digging into my lateral flexor!" The Seeker complained. "Do you intend to whine for the duration of the voyage?" Shockwave asked.
"Optimus, I was never able to learn Shockwave's side of the Cyber-Matter equation. This may be all we ever have, and Cybertron is a much larger planet than Earth." Ratchet said. "Then we must launch the Cyber-Matter at Cybertron's very core." Optimus said. "Into the heart of Primus himself?" Ratchet asked.
The Harbinger and the Nemesis flew towards a giant hole. "Commander, we've arrived at the Well of All Sparks." Jetfire said. The Autobots and the humans on the Nemesis, with Cyclonus controlling the Harbinger, watched.
Ratchet pressed a button, and the Cyber-Matter was launched from the Omega Lock. The Cyber-Matter beam struck the core, and it glowed. Soon, the Cyber-Matter within the Omega Lock was depleted, and the beam disappeared into the Well. They waited. The entire planet of Cybertron started glowing as it came back to life.
"It's beautiful." Elsa marveled. "Ah, such luster." Knockout said beside the group. They all stared at him. "What's he doing here?" Anna asked. "What? I'm joining the winning team." Knockout said, only to get bodied by Miko in the Apex Armor.
A wounded Predaking held onto the Nemesis and saw that Cybertron was alive again. He transformed and fled. The humans and Autobots saw him. "What was that?" Elsa asked. "The Predacon." Ultra Magnus said.
The Harbinger and the Nemesis were left on Cybertron as the Autobots returned to Earth to say their goodbyes inside hangar E of the military base. "Though our homeworld is once again capable of supporting life, we have much rebuilding to do. Alas, we will miss our home away from home and the family we've made here." Optimus said. "If 'Cons are still out there, won't Earth be on their radar?" Raf asked.
"Raf, if you ever need me, need us, for any reason, we're just a Space-Bridge away." Bee assured. "Besides, we'll be in good hands with you, Jack, Miko, Elsa, and Anna continuing to serve unit E. In a semi-official capacity." Agent Fowler said. "Whoa. We're agents?!" Miko asked happily.
"Consultants. Until you're of age." June said. "I trust that unit E doesn't have any rules forbidding the enlistment of rusty old Autobot consultants?" Ratchet asked. "Ratchet? You of all -" Chromia started. "Yep, yep, yep. I know where I am needed." Ratchet said. "You know what? What the scrap. I'm with Ratchet. Besides, you never know if you'll need a skilled jet on the field." Jetfire said.
Wheeljack grabbed the ball he and Bulkhead played with. Bee looked at Raf on the catwalk. "Raf." He looked down. "I know, Bee. You don't need to say anything." Raf said. "I never did." Bee said. Miko leaned next to Bulkhead's pede. "Miko, I guess this is -" Bulkhead started, and Miko started crying. Bulkhead lowered a digit, and Miko hugged it while sobbing.
Arcee walked to Jack, Elsa, and Anna. "Do you have to go?" The 8 year old asked. "We want you to stay!" Anna said as she started crying. "It's been quite a ride." Jack said. "Keep in touch, guys." Arcee said. "We'll miss you." Elsa said as she wiped her own tears from her face. "Don't make me hunt you all down." Arcee sadly joked.
Agent Fowler saluted Ultra Magnus, Smokescreen, Cyclonus, and Wheeljack. Wheeljack returned the salute first before the others did. They then walked away. June put a hand on Fowler's arm.
A Space-Bridge opened as Optimus approached Ratchet and Jetfire. "Until me meet again, old friends." They each shook servos.
The Autobots walked into the portal, one at a time. Optimus was last. He turned around and took in one last look of his family. "'Till all are one." Elsa said. "'Till all are one." Optimus repeated before entering the portal.
