My Beast Style mimicked the fighting method of Beasts in general and worked exceptionally well with my Spell, so I figured I could further focus on that by trying to deepen my understanding of my Souls.
The Shadow Panther was a stealthy creature that could've killed me back then if I hadn't left my wolf to guard me during the night. I took everything I knew about it and how it moved before incorporating it into my own movements, making my footsteps almost impossible to hear.
The Griffin had many good qualities, but I mostly relied on its incredible eyesight, and I managed to improve my eyes just a little bit after studying it.
The Earth Shaker was a juggernaut that could take hits for days. I tried taking what I knew about it to make myself more healthy at first, but I only managed to increase my durability. That was good enough for now, and I moved onto the Metal Mole.
My newest beast was also quite durable, but what impressed me the most was how sharp its claws were. After spending a good amount of time on that, I managed to make my nails sharper, making me that more dangerous in close combat even when I wasn't using the Beast.
I knew I could make those enhancements even better, but I was satisfied with my progress for the time being. Not to mention that I would need to meet with Erza soon, and I didn't have the time to continue working on this.
Just as I was about to leave the place, I saw Natsu running over with Happy flying behind him.
"Leon!" He called out as he neared me.
"Hi," I greeted him and checked his sides, and I let out a sigh of relief after noticing that there wasn't even a scar left. Natsu was a hothead, but he was part of the Guild, and I would've hated myself if I had seriously injured him. Thankfully, those potions worked wonders.
"Hey," Natsu said as he stopped in front of me. "I saw an awesome Job to fight some big monster. Wanna go do it with me?"
"I'd like to, but I already have a Job over at the capital today," I replied, a smile forming on my face since he didn't seem to mind what happened the previous night.
"That sucks," Natsu said, his shoulders deflating in disappointment. "I really wanted to go on a Job with you…"
"We can go on one in the future," I offered instead. "I definitely won't mind having someone like you to keep me safe!"
"Hell yeah!" Natsu pumped his fist with streaks of fire dancing around him.
"We should also fight some more in the future," he added after that. "Or we can even just train together if you like that more."
"Leon can even cook for us!" Happy clapped his paws as he circled around us.
"Ohh…" Natsu began drooling just from imagining that. "That will be really cool. Maybe he can even make me fire pasta…"
"I'll see you later," I said with a chuckle and bid him goodbye. "I have to meet with Erza and go to Crocus."
Natsu shivered just by hearing that name. "Yeah… I'll be going now. Have fun!"
Both him and Happy ran away quickly after that, and I chucked again as I began walking towards the Guild. As I neared the building, I saw Makarov standing outside, and he perked up when he noticed me.
"Good morning, my boy," Makarov wobbled over as he waved at me. "I have to say, I'm really impressed. I knew you were improving rapidly, but to actually fight against Natsu on equal grounds? You are really something special."
"Thank you," I replied, doing my best to keep a grin from sprouting on my face while a feeling of pride surged inside my chest.
"Keep it up, and Laxus might actually win his bet with me," Makarov said with a chuckle before offering me a little case he was carrying. "And before I forget, I managed to sell the diamond yesterday, and I got…"
"…two hundred thousand Jewels. As I promised, I will take only ten percent for the guild, and the rest is yours as you earned it on your own."
I just stood there in silence as I tried to process what the Master had just said. 'Two hundred thousand Jewels… that means I get one hundred and eighty thousand… I…'
That was a lot of money, so much that I didn't even know what to do with them. I could definitely get a much better apartment with this much Jewels. In fact, I could maybe even buy my own house! Oh, that sounded really nice.
"Thank you for this, Master," I bowed my head as I accepted the money before quickly throwing it my Inventory, afraid that it would somehow end up getting destroyed if I left it out in the open.
"Don't worry, my boy." Makarov patted me on the thigh with a gentle smile before he turned around to enter the Guild while waving his hand with his back turned towards me. "Have fun on your trip."
"I'm glad you are here on time," I jumped in place after hearing Erza's voice from behind me, and I looked back to see her standing there with… an entire cart full of belongings behind her, making me wonder how she even sneaked up on me with that thing.
"Good morning, Erza," I greeted her after calming down.
"Indeed," Erza replied with a large smile. "Good morning."
"So we are going to Crocus, right?" I asked just to make sure.
"Yes, we are. There is a train leaving for the capital in a few minutes, so we must hurry to catch it," Erza answered and began marching towards the train station before she stopped. "Unless you'd like to use a different method of transportation?"
Funds now at 184100 Jewels.
"That's fine with me," I replied. "I'm still not faster than a train in my Griffin form."
"I also don't think that form would be suitable for carrying my baggage." Erza nodded in agreement.
"Oh, that's not an issue," I said with a cheeky grin and offered. "In fact, I can store them all in my Inventory if you'd like."
"All of that?" Erza asked in surprise, stopping in place to stare at me.
"Yes," I answered and walked over to her cart. "Can I?"
"Go ahead." She nodded.
I activated me enhancement Spell and overcharged it so I could slightly lift the cart and then transferred it in my pocket space. Erza stared at me, her eyes narrowing in thought while I briefly scanned her belongings.
There were a a lot cheesecakes there, some which were made by me, a bunch of those pancakes I prepared a few days ago, quite a bit of spices and ingredients, and… some very interesting underwear…
"I'll have to bring you with me in my future Jobs," Erza muttered. "Maybe when you get a bit stronger, but you did beat Natsu… and I can have your cooking all for myself…"
"I think we should hurry to catch the train," I said, interrupting her thoughts before she finalized them.
"You're right. Best we hurry or we will have to chase after the train," Erza agreed with me before marching on with me walking beside her.
We reached the station soon enough and got on the train shortly before it departed. Once we got to our seats, Erza grabbed me and slammed my face against her thighs, her soft yet firm thighs…
"Blargh?" I asked in confusion, trying to distract myself from how nice they felt and the various thoughts of how I could touch them in just the right way to make her all hot and flustered.
"I do this with Natsu every time since he gets motion sickness when he travels on a vehicle," Erza said as she began ruining her fingers through my hair, not really explaining why she did it to me since I didn't have such an issue.
I figured I might as well enjoy this since I was definitely not getting out of this situation, knowing exactly how strong she was.
"Hey, Erza?" I said while doing my best to keep myself from falling asleep, which was a lot harder than it sounded. After all, I had the perfect pair of pillows, and the way she scratched my head lulled me to sleep.
"Yes?" Erza answered with a soft hum as she began quietly humming a song as if she was really trying to put me to sleep.
"I wanted to ask," I paused, suppressing my yawn and fighting it back. "How do you move around with armor like you do? I used to wear some leather armor before, so I thought it was easy, but I got some enchanted heavy armor, and I could barely move around with it. I have enough strength to easily wear it, but…"
"I understand your problem," Erza replied, stopping her song for a moment. "I used to struggle moving around with armor as well, but I learned a few tricks that helped me with it…"
Erza started off by informing me about everything she had to correct when she first started wearing armors. I absorbed all of her knowledge like a sponge, making her excited due to how quickly I was learning.
"Let me show you," Erza said after her latest tip, and for some reason, decided to change her outfit while I was still laying on her lap… with my face buried in her thighs…
That result of that was embarrassing to say the least as I ended up right against her crotch. We both jumped up as soon as it happened, doing our best to avoid eye contact.
"Right…" Erza coughed, pretending nothing had happened. "Take a look how I move around."
Oh, I looked, alright, though my eyes kept going lower, and I had to resist with all my might. Thankfully, I managed to focus enough to pick up on a thing or two.
"It might be better if I take a more hands-on approach." Erza nodded to herself and added. "Now remove your clothes."
"What?" I asked with wide eyes.
"You heard me, remove your clothes," Erza replied with a demanding tone.
"All of them?" I asked despite my best judgment.
"Ye–" She coughed before saying, "You can leave your underwear on."
I gulped and followed her words, quickly storing my clothes. Erza then got behind me and began guiding my movements, though… her hands groped me on numerous occasions. I stayed quiet, of course, not pointing out her wandering hands, lest she ends up knocking me for that.
It seemed she finally caught on to what she was doing, and Erza backed off with a cough. "Right. That's pretty good for now. I don't think it will be long before you can freely move around while wearing heavy armor."
"That's good to hear," I said, face still flushed from what just happened. I put back my clothes and sat down before I found myself right back onto her lap.
"So… did you read that sword manual we translated?" I asked, trying to change the subject and distract myself.
"I did. It's an interesting fighting style, and I managed to include it in my arsenal after a couple of days of practicing," Erza replied and began telling me exactly how she accomplished that.
I just stayed as quiet as a mouse, enjoying how she ran her fingers through my hair and marveling at how she picked up the style in just a couple of days. Then again, Elfman did learn my Beast Style in a few hours, so maybe I wasn't as special as I thought I was. Or… maybe everyone in Fairy Tail was a bit of a freak in that regard.
We talked about our different fighting methods during the remaining of the ride, and I was more than surprised when I heard how many weapons she could use. I was good with swords and with my arms, but she could use every single melee weapon without any issue whatsoever.
Soon enough, we reached Crocus, and I was left gaping after we exited the train. This city was absolutely massive, making Magnolia look tiny in comparison. And the palace in the distance was absolutely magnificent.
"Let's go," Erza grabbed my hand and pulled me towards our destination, Heart Kreuz.
There was so much I wanted to explore here, but she had limited time with me, so I made sure to follow. Soon enough, we reached a large building with a cross-shaped sign hanging above it.
Instead of entering from the front, Erza took me to a back door. No one prevented us from entering, and she led me to a young woman with blond hair and purple eyes.
"Erza!" The woman greeted her with a large smile.
"Louise." Erza smiled back. "I'd like to introduce you to Leon."
"It's nice to meet you," I said with a smile of my own.
"Oh ho ho." Louise grinned like a shark. "What do we have here? Erza bringing us a boy?"
"Leon is my friend and a valued member of Fairy Tail," Erza replied before quickly looking away.
"Is that so?" Louise asked with a smirk. "And yet this is the first time you brought one of your Guild members here."
"Yes, because Leon is actually interested in obtaining better equipment for himself," Erza explained while I just stood there silently. "Not to mention that he acquired some incredibly rare metals."
"Alright, now I'm interested," Louise's smirk finally receded. "What kind of metals?"
"Adamantium for one," I said as I took out one of the ingots, watching her eyes widen in surprise, but I wasn't done yet, so I took out the other one as well. "And a Mythril as well."
"Mythril?" Louise expression turned serious as she stared at the silvery-colored metal. "This is even rarer than Adamantium, and I've only heard stories about it. Is this really Mytrhil?"
"Yes," I nodded with hesitation as my Magic hadn't failed me yet. If it said it was Mythril, then it was Mythril.
"May I?" Louise asked, and I handed it over to her. She took out a little monocle and began inspecting the ingot, flipping it over and studying it from every angle. "Well, I'll be damned! It really is Mythril!"
"It is," I confirmed again as she handed it back to me.
"I have three ingots for both Adamantium and Mythril, and I was wondering if I could turn those into something for myself?" I asked before adding, "And how much would that cost me?"
I had plenty of money now, but I had to make sure it wasn't too expensive.
"Considering Erza personally brought you over and considering you came along with something as precious as Mythril? I can say that you will be getting a really nice discount for this. It will be no more than five thousand per item," Louise explained, and I narrowed my eyebrows at that price.
"Don't look at me like that. Those will be one of the best equipment you will ever find, and let me tell you, all of them will cost hundreds of thousands of Jewels on the market," she explained after seeing my face, and I looked at Erza, who nodded in agreement.
"So now the question is, what do you want us to make for you?" Louise asked. "Three ingots are enough to be turned into a full body armor or into a pair of nice weapons."
"I have a few questions before making a decision," I said, and she urged me to ask with a wave of her hand. "I'm looking for armor and two swords, and I want to know what kind of Enchantments I can get on them?"
"That will depend on the materials. Adamantium is a rigid metal that refuses to bend after it's forged. So we won't be able to place our regular Enchantment to make it adjust to the size of the user. An armor made out of it will provide you with extreme defenses for physical and magical attacks, though it will be heavy and hard to move in."
"Mythril, on the other hand, is supposed to be extremely receptive to such types of Enchantments. In fact, according to what we know, it can be layered with numerous Enchantments due to its more magical nature. Armor made out of it will also be lighter and easier to move in while also providing you with incredible defenses."
"What about weapons? Swords to be exact," I asked after.
"It will take us some time, but we can create a pair of swords from Adamantium. They will be one of the sharpest and most durable we have ever created. We can even place a few Enchantments on them to make them even better."
"As for the Mythril… we can turn it into swords as well, but they won't be as sharp, though they will channel Magic better. Honestly, it would be better to make something like a staff with Mythril due to how well it can channel Magic."
"I see." I nodded, thinking it over. "I want to make an armor that will morph with my form. Can you make that with the Mythril?"
"We can make it adjust to your size, that's for sure, but what do you mean when you say 'morph with your form'?" Louise questioned, and I showed her my Beast Soul transformation.
"Well, that will be harder since we will need to find someone who can Enchant that for us. Unless you already know someone who could do it for you?" Louise replied.
"I might know someone that can do that for me," I said, instantly thinking of Levy. Even if she currently wasn't capable of doing that, I trusted that she could easily figure it out.
"Well, there's that." Louise shrugged before asking. "So that will be an Enchanted armor made out of Mythril and a pair of swords made out of Adamantium?"
"Yes, that sounds right." I nodded while handing her the six ingots.
"Alright then. It will take us about a week to get them done. You can come by to pay us for the work when they are ready, or you can pay us now and have us deliver the equipment to you."
"Here you go," I said as I took out fifteen thousand Jewels without even thinking about it. Erza personally recommended me to those people, so I didn't see a reason not to trust them.
"You can have them delivered to Fairy Tail…" I paused, thinking it over. "Perhaps maybe Fairy Hills?"
"Good choice," Louise chuckled as if she knew exactly what happened in our Guild building. She probably did since Fairy Tail seemed to be really famous.
"The girls there will make sure to keep your equipment safe," Erza agreed with that. "And they will hand it to you once it arrives."
"Pleasure doing business with you," Louise said and offered her hand for me to shake.
"Pleasure doing business with you," I repeated as I shook her hand. We bid her goodbye after that and turned to leave, but Louise called out.
"And Erza? Do bring your boyfriend more often if he has such interesting things with him," she said with a cackle, and Erza grabbed my hand before I could respond, bursting out of the building in a split second.
"Thank you for bringing me here," I told her once she released me and noticed just how red her face was.
"It wasn't a problem," Erza quietly mumbled, doing her best to avoid eye contact with me. "I… I need to be going, I have a Job to get to.."
"Oh." I realized what she needed, so I quickly took out her stuff from my Inventory, making sure that I got everything. Yep, I did, and I even left something else with it.
"Again, thank you for bringing me here," I told Erza while slowly backing away. "Oh, and I also left a special cake for you there!"
Then I was gone, activating all of my Enhancements to disappear before she could knock me out with one of her special hugs.
"Leon!" I heard her yell from a distance, but I was already switching from street to street to ensure she wouldn't be able to catch up to me.
A few people stared at me in panic once I stopped running, but I managed to calm them down, and even asked a few to direct me to the Magic School here. After getting the directions, I quickly found the place I needed to be at.
It was a large and magnificent building, and I stared at it only for a moment before entering inside. There I found an older man standing behind a long desk, idly reading a book.
"Hello," I greeted the man.
"Greetings, young man," he replied kindly. "You are a bit too late if you are looking to sign up for this month, but I can maybe attempt to get you in a few lectures."
"Oh, I'm actually here for one of the Jobs," I said and took out the Job request I grabbed from the Guild, showing it to him. It was just for four hundred Jewels, but I wasn't doing it for the money.
"I see." He nodded after inspecting it for a moment. "May I ask from which Guild you are?"
"Fairy Tail," I answered and watched as his face went through multiple different expressions in a split second.
"Aha… That's… fine, but you will need to quickly complete a simple test to prove that you can hold a lecture here, would that be okay with you?" He asked to which I just nodded with confidence, trusting that my knowledge about Magic was more than enough to complete whatever test they make me do.
He hard someone knocking on the door of his office, and he paused his writing for a moment. "Yes?"
"Sir, I'm sorry for bothering you," the receptionist, Howard, at the School said as he opened the door. "But a Mage that took the Job request we sent out just arrived."
"And what is the issue?" Gran Doma asked, wondering what the problem was.
"Well, it's a Mage from Fairy Tail." That's all he needed to understand what the issue was.
Though, he did need to ask, "Is it McGarden?"
That girl had done a lecture once before, and he was more than impressed by her knowledge. However, she did end up leaving with a bang after one of the Professors here tried asking her out. Thankfully, the man recovered after being thrown out of the building by that Spell of hers.
"No, sir. He said his name is Leon," Howard answered.
"Is he causing you trouble?" Doma asked with narrowed eyes. He hated troublemakers like Fairy Tail, and he was prepared to teach this one a lesson.
"No, sir." Howard shook his head. "He even accepted the test and… well, take a look. He completed it within minutes"
"Hmm?" Doma titled his head as Howard presented him the test, and he saw how every single question was answered perfectly. In fact, some of the questions were even corrected.
"Well, this is interesting." Doma meant that since he hadn't expected something like this from a Fairy Tail Mage. Unless it was McGarden, but she had promised to never take this Job after the last time.
"Let's go and meet this Leon then," Doma said as he stood up, and Howard quickly led him to entrance of the building where they found the young man in question.
Leon was dressed in a presentable manner, so that already made him better than ninety percent of Fairy Tail Mages. He also did have a more scholarly aura compared to their usual brutish one.
"Greetings, young man," Doma said before introducing himself.
"Hello, I'm Leon." Then young man shook his hand with a smile.
"May I ask why you took this Job?" Doma asked since he knew that most Mages avoided it as it didn't pay that much. Just four hundred Jewels was nothing to them even if they could earn it in just a few hours. Then again, few were actually capable of talking about Magic in a way that others would understand.
"The Master did recommend me to take one of those lecture Jobs since he believes my knowledge about Magic is good enough for it," Leon explained, causing Doma to raise his eyebrow in surprise. Makarov was many things, but few would doubt his ability as a Mage. The man did rightfully earn his spot as one of the Ten Wizard Saints.
"But I also want to share my knowledge with others. I grew up in a village where the people knew almost nothing about Magic, and… I almost ended up killing myself due to that. I want to make sure others can avoid ending up in a situation similar to mine," Leon continued with his explanation, making Doma doubt he was actually from Fairy Tail.
"Remarkable," he complimented the young man, receiving a bashful smile in return.
"What exactly do you plan to lecture the students?" Doma had to ask before he brought him over to one of the lecture halls. There was a Professor scheduled to teach there in just a few minutes, but the Noel wouldn't mind if this young man took his spot.
"I think I will talk about how important knowledge is. How the more we know about us, the world, and Magic, the better we can improve our own abilities," Leon replied before adding. "In fact, I will also try to do a live demonstration of that, by improving one of my own non-destructive Spells in front of the class."
"Oh?" Doma tilted his head. "I hope you won't mind me participating in the class then."
Doma was interested in seeing what exactly he would do, but he also needed to be there in case this young man turned out to be just like all the rest of the Fairy Tail Mages.
"Not at all, sir." Leon shook his head, and Doma led him to the classroom.
At first, Doma was slightly worried that most wouldn't listen to Leon due to his younger age, and it seemed like some of the students were ready to make trouble despite his own presence there. However, his concerns were for naught as everyone quieted down the moment the young man began speaking.
"Hello, everyone. My name is Leon," his words traveled around the classroom, causing everyone to pay attention to his voice. "I will be speaking about the importance of knowledge and how we can use everything we know about the world to improve our Magic."
Even Doma found himself leaning in, listening to the young man with interest. It was simply fascinating to hear Leon describe how even the mundane studies like biology or mathematics can be used to improve Magic. Some might've doubted his teaching, but then he did a live demonstration.
Leon summoned three flat screen shields with Archive, a fairly rare type of Magic due to how hard it was to learn and improve upon. He showed how lacking his control over them was and how brittle the shields were by breaking one with a single punch.
Then he began improving them right in front of everyone else, detailing exactly what he was doing to make them better. It wasn't an instant process, and it took multiple attempts, but his control over the shields was getting better and better after each time he cast the Spell, up until he could layer them one after the other.
After that, he slowly began increasing how durable they were while also managing to create one more Shield than he previously was capable of. Leon turned what was a useful Spell into an incredibly durable one right in front of their eyes.
It wasn't as impressive as showing them a powerful attacking Spell, but Doma really appreciated what this young man was doing. After all, surviving was far more important than destroying anything in sight. Again, he had to wonder how this young man had ended up with those ruffians at Fairy Tail.
"That was an excellent lecture," Doma told him after the class ended. "I hope you would find some time in the future to give another lecture here."
"I will definitely consider it," Leon replied with a smile. "I learn a lot more from reading, but I felt I gained a lot from this as well."
"Indeed." Doma nodded at him. "We can learn just as much when teaching others than we can from studying as we understand certain topics better when we explain them to others."
"I think I get it," Leon nodded in understanding
Feeling happy about meeting such a young man, Doma couldn't help but say, "I know the reward is a measly four hundred Jewels, but I would like to offer you a book about Wind Magic instead, would you accept that?"
"Of course, I'd love that," Leon replied as his eyes lit up in excitement. "I also use Beast Soul and one of the Beasts I have is a Griffin, so this will certainly be useful for it."
Doma froze for a second while processing those words. "If I may ask, how many different types of Magic do you know how to use?"
"Seven," he told him, and Doma almost stumbled in his steps. Seven? SEVEN?! Even he couldn't use that many!
"And how old are you?" Doma asked with a gulp.
"Sixteen."
'What a little monster.' Doma didn't want to compare him to the rest of the ruffians at Fairy Tail, but Leon really was a monster if he already knew how to use seven different types of Magic at this age. Plus, after witnessing his lecture, Doma was certain that the young man actually knew how to use all of his Magic at a high level.
'I'll have to pay more attention to Fairy Tail, and this time, it will be for a good reason. Hopefully, he won't turn out like the rest.' He made a mental note as he gave Leon the book about Wind Magic before bidding him goodbye.
Earned Wind Magic Book.
After leaving the school, I wandered around for a bit, just enjoying the sights of the capital. It was, however, already pretty late, so I ended up finding a hotel to stay the night since I had more than enough money to afford it.
I may have paid a bit too much for a room, but damn if it wasn't worth it as the place was easily three times the size of my apartment. That did remind me that I was due a payment, though I didn't think I'd be able to stay there after experiencing this.
The bed in this place was absolutely humongous, and it was oh so soft. I was even tempted to just throw it in my Inventory, but I resisted the urge, knowing that I could buy one just as good if I wanted to.
As I lay on this amazing softness, I thought about my lecture and how enjoyable it was. Teaching was certainly a nice experience, and I really considered doing it again. Those were my last thoughts before I fell asleep.
It is now Tuesday, August 9th, X783. Levy returns today. The next volume of Sorcerer Magazine will be published tomorrow.
Getting out of bed hadn't been that hard in a while, but I managed to fight against the urge to just wrap myself in these bed sheets. I walked down to the reception, doing my best to not look back at my room since I had a few more hours left with it. After returning the key, I left the hotel wondering if I should stay here for a few more hours to explore or just return back to Magnolia.
It was still really early in the morning, so I doubted there was anything interesting open right now. I would actually need to spend far more than just a few hours if I wanted to explore everything here. On the other hand, I knew that Levy was returning today. I could try to get back to Magnolia to prepare a surprise for her. Either by finding a new bigger place to stay or just by setting up something nice for her.
Soul gains 5644 EXP. Now at 52 (2617/5300).
This wouldn't be my last time in Crocus, but I wanted to explore a bit and see what the capital had to offer. Though since nothing was open yet, I had to find a way to waste some time. At first, I thought about training, but I didn't know the area very well, and I didn't want to disturb the people around here with my Magic.
Thankfully, I could do one of my favorite activities while waiting for the stores to open. I looked at the books stored in my Inventory and wondered which one I should focus on. The Alchemy one was still there, though we did agree to study it together with Levy. There's another about Physics that I was really interested in studying as I wondered how I could use it to improve my Magic. There were also a few Spell Scrolls lying around there. And last but not least, I had an entirely new book about Wind Magic.
I had plenty of options, and I wasn't sure which I wanted to pick.
Wind Magic interested me since my Griffin used it, and I wondered if I could somehow make it better by learning it myself, but Physics seemed even more fascinating to me. Surely, learning the laws of the world would help me improve my Magic in some way, just like how learning Biology helped me increase the limits of my Enhancement Spell.
I was correct in my assumptions, and I was more than satisfied when I closed the book, feeling like I could figure out a way to improve numerous of my abilities after studying a bit more.
I could continued reading for a few more hours, but I held off from doing that now since the capital was coming to live as the sun began shining upon it. If I really wanted to continue my studies, I could always do it on the way back, and it was now time to explore this wonderful city.
425x2x2.5=2125. Physics unlocked and now at rank 1 (625/2000)
Not everything was open yet, but the farmer's market was already getting loud, and I got drawn by the noises. They were selling a larger variety of both spices and vegetables, so I began buying them in bulk, throwing them all in my Inventory so they stayed fresh.
I also ended up with plenty of seeds as they sold those in small packages. Those could be useful to practice my Growth Spell with. Plus, I could grow my own vegetables and fruits this way without needing to buy them so often.
By the time I was done, all the rest of the shops were opened, so I wandered around, visiting any I saw. I got plenty of books that I could study for my Skills, though I grabbed a few fiction and romance novels I could enjoy with Levy as well.
The next thing on my list was checking out the stores selling magical goods, hoping to maybe find another Magic Book. Sadly, my luck wasn't good enough for that, and I was told once more that the Guilds and the Magic Council had a monopoly on those.
I did, however, find an even better pair of Gale-Force Glasses. The people sold ones that increased reading speed by sixteen times and even ones that were twice as good than those. I wasn't sure if I really needed the latter since my own were already good enough, but I did have the money to buy them if I wanted to.
Gained a lot of spices, vegetables, fruits, and seeds. Gained Books for Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Medicine, and Farming up to rank 3.
Since I had quite a few more books to read, I figured grabbing the best available glasses would help me get through them quicker.
'Levy will like this,' I thought before buying a pair for her. She had ones that sped up reading by eight times, which was why we could study together, so if I wanted to continue this tradition, she'd need better ones as well.
Plus, I had the money to spend. Even with all of those purchases, I still had over one hundred thousands Jewels. Right, that was more than enough, so I went ahead and even grabbed a massive and luxurious bed for myself with large fluffy pillows and warm soft covers.
'This should be enough for now.' I though after checking over my Inventory and its new additions. Right, I didn't need to buy anymore things at the moment, but did I want to explore the capital some more and was it time for me to leave?
Gained 2x Gale-Force Reading Glasses x32. Gained a luxurious king size bed. Funds now at 135600 Jewels.
I figured it was time to return to Magnolia now. Plus, if I ever wanted to come back to Crocus, it was just a train ride away. It wasn't like this was the last time I would be here, so I bought a ticket and was on my way back home.
Sadly, I couldn't practice my Magic in the booth, but that meant I could focus on those books that I bought. With my new glasses, I was confident in being able to get through them all, and with the assistance of my Archive, I could learn all they had to offer during this train ride.
My head felt like it was about to burst from all the information. As amazing as those glasses were, I knew I couldn't use them constantly after this, and I'd need at least a few hours of rest time before doing something like this again. On the bright side, all of my general knowledge was way higher now, and I even understood how gravity works. If I felt like it, I might even try to create a Magic based on it, though it would take me a long time to figure out how to actually do that.
Either way, I was back home, and I excitedly hopped out of the train. There were plenty of things I could do now that I returned, but meeting Levy was on the top of my list.
Right, I prepared quite a bit while she was away, so it was time to create a nice surprise for her. I rushed over to my home to prepare an extravagant meal for the two of us first, using all of the fancy ingredients I bought from Crocus.
With that done, I swapped out the bed with the new one I got, and it took me a moment to make it fit in the apartment. Hmm, I definitely had to get a better place for myself after today, which wouldn't be a problem since I was rich now.
Before I went to the Guild, I quickly passed through a store near my apartment, getting something extra that would make my surprise even better. I greeted the people currently in the main hall, informing them that I won't be cooking for them today, before I entered the library.
"Hey there," I walked over to Levy, pulling her in for a deep kiss.
"Hey to you as well," she replied with a breathy voice as she leaned against me.
"Come, I have a surprise for you," I said and took her hand, leading her out of the building.
"Oh? What kind of surprise?" Levy asked as we left while we ignored the people whistling at us.
"You'll see," I told her as I led her to my apartment.
Levy looked at me oddly with a tilt of her head on the way there. "Did you do something with your voice?"
"Do you like it?" I asked with a grin, seeing her body shiver at my question.
"I can't say I dislike it," Levy replied with a coy smile.
I chuckled at her expression, causing her to shiver again, and asked how her Job went. Levy ended up telling me all about it and how they had to escort some rich guy to Seven and back. It had been extremely boring except for when they were attacked by a group of Dark Mages, though they had ended up taking them down quite easily. Apparently, those guys were after some expensive jewelry the rich guy was bringing to sell to a noble in Seven.
Levy chuckled once we entered the apartment and saw the bigger bed. "Is this the surprise?"
"Nope," I replied with a grin and took out a small table and two chairs before placing the meals I prepared.
"Mmm, this looks delicious," Levy said and licked her lips as she stared at the food.
After sharing an enjoyable meal with her, I moved on to the next few things, showing her some of the books I had gathered recently. The Wind Magic book was the one that caught her interest, and she barely held off from immediately delving into it.
"And I also got you this," I said as I continued taking stuff from my Inventory, presenting her with her new pair of glasses.
"Leo…" Levy looked at them with a fond smile. "Those cost a fortune… you shouldn't have done that."
"But I wanted to," I replied back with a smile. "I also bought the same ones for myself, and I wanted for us to continue reading together."
Levy pursed her lips as she placed them to the side and was about to approach me, but I stopped her.
"I'm not done yet," I said and she paused, waiting for me to continue. "Now I need you out of your clothes."
"Oh?" Levy raised her eyebrow at me.
"I'm going to make you really happy today," I said, watching her eyes widen at my words, but I continued before she could protest. "By giving you the massage of a lifetime."
"Oh," she muttered with a flushed face.
"Did you perhaps imagine something else?" I asked as I leaned in with a grin.
"Bah! When did you get so cheeky?!" Levy slapped my shoulder, but the smile on her face reached her eyes.
"Now you can throw away those pesky clothes, so I can rock your world," I continued teasing her while she just gaped at me.
"Leo!" Levy's face was growing even redder, though she began taking off her clothes.
"Get ready because I will make you the happiest woman in the world." I chuckled as Levy threw away her clothes and dived head first into the bed, muttering something about teaching me a lesson.
"I will pleasure you in ways you didn't even know were possible," I whispered in her ear as I got on top of her, and she kicked her legs back while muttering even more promises into the pillows.
My hands grabbed her shoulders and I began kneading her flesh as her moans filled the room, no matter how much she tried to suppress them. My confidence soared as I heard those pleasant sounds, and I was glad that I studied that Seduction Book so much since that time spent on it was more than worth it.
Levy turned into a putty as I got to massage her from top to bottom. And if my hands ended up wandering to certain places? Well, she certainly seemed to enjoy the attention I put on her cute bottom and her chest.
The only issue was how hard I got from all of this, but I was satisfied by how happy and relaxed she looked at the end of it. Not to mention that she promised to "rock my world next" and I could barely wait for that.
It is now Wednesday, August 10th, X783. The next volume of Sorcerer Magazine will be published today. Apartment payment is due today, else we will be kicked out.
I woke up with Levy slightly drooling on my shoulder. I gently cleaned her with my thumb and kissed her on the forehead before I got up to quickly clean myself. My smile never left my face the entire time, and I found myself humming a random tune.
I left her a little note, stating that I would be out practicing. Though I did need to return later since I wanted to take my bed before leaving the key with the land owner. I thought about just getting a bigger apartment, but I had the money to buy an entire house for myself, so I figured I might as well do that instead.
Just thinking about owning my own home was so exciting, but I had to calm myself as I had to wait for a few hours before everything opened. Right, to keep myself distracted, I went over behind the Guild to practice my Magic and try to further improve my Conjure Wolf Spell.
My wolf has been with me since the moment I understood how to use my Magic. It was really useful back then, but it has been lagging behind me more and more. At the moment, it was only useful as a distraction and to take a hit for me.
Since having a companion as strong as me seemed impossible, I figured I could focus on improving what it was already good at, by making it an even better distraction. Surely, people would focus more on the monster that's twice the size of a human over me in a fight. I had great success in turning my wolf into such a monster, and I even managed to make it even more durable, so it could take even more hits for me.
However, I wasn't satisfied with that alone. I wanted to make it even more dangerous, but I couldn't figure out a way at first. Then it hit me, 'what if I can use my abilities through the wolf?'
That was a great idea, especially since I already had a deep connection with the wolf as it was created with my Mana, but it was harder to implement than it sounded. That, however, didn't discourage me, and I kept trying to cast Spell away from me by using my connection with it.
I failed numerous times, and my first success came from me trying to use my Inventory through it. That was a surprise, for sure, but a welcomed one. Especially since this opened up so many options for me. Plus, this showed me how I could potentially use my Mana through it, and I continued trying to do just that, until finally, I succeeded.
Now I had to figure out which Spells were usable and which weren't. After testing out what worked, I found out that only Lightning Bolt, Root Manipulation, Growth, Data-Shield, and Telepathy were usable. And no matter how much I tried, I couldn't make use my Enhancing Spells on it, nor could I force it to transform into one of my Beast Souls.
It was slightly disappointing, but I was still happy about it since this opened so many options for me. I could stay in my home while also fighting battles a massive distance away by proxy.
The only issue was that the wolf still wasn't strong enough, but… I realized I could now summon up to three of them. That made me test even more things, leading to the realization that I could just restore the numbers of my wolves as long as one of them remained alive. I could guarantee that there would always be three of them working together as long as I had the Mana to summon them.
Right, I needed to do some more tests with this, so I formed wings on my back and took to the skies, flying towards the forest near Magnolia. From up above, I noticed the farmer already working on his field despite how early it was, and I landed near his farm.
Quickly, I summoned three wolves and ordered them to go into the forest to hunt, mentally commanding them to contact me if they met any monsters, so I could try using Boss Battle through them. While they were doing that, I approached the farmer.
"Good morning," I greeted him.
"Morning, son," he replied with a tilt of his head. "I don't think I've sent any requests to the Guilds…"
"I'm not here for a Job," I said with a shake of my head. "Just wanted to make sure everything is okay with the crops."
"They are perfectly fine," the farmer nodded with a happy expression. "Been checking up on them, and I haven't seen anything wrong."
"If that's the case, then would you mind if I help out again?" I asked before adding. "Free of charge, of course."
I didn't mind doing this for free since I was practicing my Growth Spell, after all, and this was the best place to do that.
"Be my guest." The farmer waved his hand in agreement, and I got to it.
The farmer was more than happy with me using my Magic on his crops, and I was just as happy as having a place to train my Spell. I bid him goodbye once the sun was shining bright and quickly returned back to Magnolia since I wanted to find a new place for myself.
I ended up being directed to the people that explained to me the pricing of the apartments, and they showed me what was available for purchase at the moment.
I rushed over to my old apartment in excitement, and I noticed more than a few people pointing at me while discussing something. I paid them no mind since I was too happy at that moment.
Just as I reached the building, I saw Levy walking out of it. She paused and pointed at me. "You!"
"Me!" I grinned at her.
"You!" Levy repeated as she wiggled her finger and marched over.
"You are a bad man!" She gave me a hug and looked up at me. "Where did you even learn to do that?"
"From a book," I explained the obvious as that's where I learned almost everything I knew. And to think I couldn't even read less than two months ago.
"A book? You'll have to show that to me," Levy said, a grin growing on her face. "So I can return the favor in the future."
"Oh… that sounds great," I murmured just imagining that before shaking my head. "Can you wait for a bit here, need to grab something from my apartment, and I want to show you a thing."
"Again?" She asked, to which I rapidly nodded. "Alright then."
I quickly went to grab my new luxurious bed before returning the key to my apartment, informing my landlord I wouldn't be staying here any longer after he asked me for the next payment.
Then I grabbed Levy's hand as I began leading the way. Again, multiple people pointed at us while we walked towards our destination.
"What's that about?" She questioned.
"I'm not sure," I replied with furrowed eyebrows. "But I don't care at the moment."
"You're really excited to show me this thing, huh?" Levy questioned, and I nodded with excitement, refusing to tell her what I wanted to show her no matter how many times she asked.
Shortly after, we finally reached our destination and I pointed at the place with a big smile. "This! This is what I wanted to show you."
"A house?" Levy asked, tilting her head for a moment before her eyes widened.
"My house!" I declared proudly with a warm feeling in my stomach. This was my own home. Not just an apartment I rented from someone else, but my own actual house!
Bought our first house, a major achievement as it was one of the main goals of the character.
With no small amount of effort, Gran Doma activated his Magic, forcing his Magic Power to turn into a Thought Projection that was a large distance away. As usual, he took a moment to get used to the feeling of being in two places at once before he stabilized, gaining perfect control of his own body and his illusion self.
"Good afternoon, sir." Doma was greeted by one of the most promising young members of the Council.
"Good afternoon, Ultear," he greeted the young lady and barely contained his smile.
Both her and Siegrain were truly exceptional, both incredibly intelligent and just as talented with Magic. He had such high hopes for the two and was pleased how they chose to join the Council instead of one of the Guilds. Not that there was anything wrong with the Guilds as they did a lot of good work and were needed to deal with the various problems across Ishgar. It's just that they ended up causing most of those problems in the first place.
'Why, I might be able to recruit another such talent.' Doma thought as he recalled that young man from a couple of days ago. He had high hopes for Leon after talking with him, though he couldn't help but wonder how Makarov managed to recruit him.
There was no doubt that the diminutive old man was one of the most powerful Mages. He wouldn't be one of the Wizard Saints if he wasn't. However, Makarov's ability to recruit exceptional talents truly astounded Doma. He just couldn't understand how the old man found them all.
The most impressive part was that all of them were so young! It was common knowledge that Mages grew more powerful with age and experience, but all of the strongest members of Fairy Tail were twenty years old or even younger. Excluding Gildarts, but Doma didn't even want to think about that fool that spat on their offer of joining the Ten Wizard Saints
To distract himself from those sour thoughts, he idly talked with Ultear, asking her how she'd been doing lately. His smile grew as she told him how well she was doing until she mentioned something interesting.
"It seems that Fairy Tail has an interesting new recruit," Ultear said, handing him a magazine. The Sorcerer Magazine was biased in their publishing, but he knew that it was a good source of information.
'Speak of the Devil.' Doma chuckled as he saw the cover page, though his eyes narrowed after reading the title.
'Cooking Wizard?' Leon did inform him he knew multiple different types of Magic, though he didn't expect this to be one of them. Nevertheless, he checked the article, and his smile widened after reading how he cooked and shared his food for free. Doma wasn't even surprised seeing that after meeting with the young man.
"As expected." He nodded to himself.
"Do you happen to know him, sir?" Ultear asked with clear interest.
"I do, I do," Doma replied with a pleased expression. "I had the good fortune of spending some time with him and even listened to his lecture about Magic. I have to say that he is very exceptional for knowing seven different types of Magic at the young age of sixteen."
"Is that so?" Ultear quietly muttered, and he told her about his meeting with Leon.
Doma talked while checking the article with interest, and his eyes widened in surprise as he flipped the page. The last part seemed to have been added in a hurry, judging by the blurry picture there, but he could barely believe it. Leon had defeated the Salamander in a fight! Without even getting hit once at that!
As happy as he was about seeing that, he couldn't help but curse Makarov in his mind. 'How does that old fool keep finding all those gems?! Hopefully, this one won't turn rotten like the rest!'
Doma really had high hopes for Leon, and he started considering how to pull that young man out of that place. He'd be much more productive if he joined the Magic Council instead of wasting his time away with Fairy Tail…
"The kitchen is pretty big, but I still need to grab some better equipment for it."
"The dining room is massive, and I can't wait to furnish it to my tastes."
"Those two rooms will be for Alchemy and Enchanting. I already placed the two special tables I got, though I'm not sure I would use the latter."
I talked as I led Levy through my new home. She spent a good amount of time inspecting the Alchemy table and even more time checking out the Enchanting one, wondering how it actually worked since she hadn't seen such a thing before.
"Is your Magic somehow providing you with things from thousands of years ago?" Levy asked a question I couldn't answer. "The books and scrolls were one thing, but this is truly mind-boggling."
"I don't know." I shrugged my shoulders. I figured I'd find out at some point in the future, but for now, I was too busy basking in that pleasant feeling that came after I bought my home. It was very similar to the feeling I got from eating those Apples, and I noticed that my Soul had increased by a few points, so there definitely was a connection between the two.
"This I plan to turn into a library will all of the books and scrolls I earn in the future. Of course, I will keep the originals with me, but I can store the translated ones here," I said after leading her upstairs. Then I showed her the bathrooms and the bedrooms, one in which I had placed my new luxurious bed.
"This is really great," Levy said as she grabbed my shirt, pulling me down on the bed with her. She wrapped around me as she began placing gentle kisses around my jaw.
"I even got you a key as well," I added as I wrapped my arms around her. "So you can come whenever you want to…"
I wanted to ask her to move in, but I didn't want to push too much here. Plus, I was sure she would do that when she felt comfortable enough.
"I have my own place at Fairy Hills…" Levy trailed off as she bit her lips and looked around.
Just as I was about to reply, I felt one of my wolves pulling at our connection and requesting assistance. I quickly pushed my will and connected with its senses, only to see an old woman with pink hair beating the wolf with a broom.
"Get your dirty paws away from there!" She yelled at the wolf while continuing to slam her wooden… weapon? "Do you have any idea how long I waited for those shrooms to grow?!"
"There's an old lady with pink hair that's beating one of my wolves… trying to beat my wolf," I told Levy while trying to figure out what was going on.
"One of your wolves?" Levy tilted her head for a moment before shaking off her confusion. "Where is it? In the forest near Magnolia?"
"Yes." I nodded and explained after. "I figured out how to use my abilities through the wolf and even how to summon more than one of them, so I just sent them out to hunt monsters for me."
"That's impressive," Levy praised me at first before telling me. "And I believe that might be Porlyusica. She's Fairy Tail's healer, and she lives in the forest on her own since she doesn't like speaking with others."
I was immediately reminded of my talk with Makarov, connecting the dots that this was the healer and Alchemist he told me about. An idea came to me then, and I hopped up from the bed while quickly taking out a blank page from one of my empty books. I then wrote a quick apology on it before storing it in my Inventory, allowing me to take it out near the wolf.
Porlyusica paused her actions, staring at the piece of paper that just materialized in front of her. She picked it up a moment later and scoffed after she read it. "An apology? Really? You think an apology is enough?! I waited for two years for those shrooms to grow to the perfect size!"
I told Levy what Porlyusica said, and we discussed how to handle this situation before we came to an agreement. I then wrote another message and sent it to the old lady through the wolf. She read through it quickly before looking at my conjured companion. "Where is it?"
A Health Potion was then deposited in front of her, and she immediately grabbed the object. She looked it over for a few moments and even smelled it for a bit before taking a small sip.
"Hmm. I will accept your apology for now," Porlyusica said and walked away, her eyes staring at the vial in a trance.
"That was interesting," I mused while telling Levy what happened. She chuckled, stating she expected as much from Porlyusica. The old lady was interesting to say the least, but this encounter with her did remind me that I had that Alchemy book in my Inventory.
"Hey? Want to read the Alchemy book together?" I asked Levy and watched as her eyes glazed over.
"Oh, you know the perfect thing to say to me," Levy replied with a throaty chuckle as she climbed in my lap while I took out the book for us to read. We both donned our Gale-Force glasses and began studying its contents.
As interesting as the book was, I was kind of expecting something more, especially after seeing my Health Potions in action. I thought it would teach me how to make them myself, but I only learned how to create some basic salves and cures. They weren't even that good, but I figured they might be useful for something in the future.
Since I ended up learning it all a bit faster than Levy, I tried my hand at teaching her while using my Telepathy. I had some success with that, though not as much as I would've liked. She still appreciated my help and rewarded me with kisses for it.
'I need to improve my Telepathy if I ever want to teach her my Allspeak ability.' I thought to myself.
"Hey, do you want to continue with those Magical Theory books?" Levy asked as she stood up, stretching and popping her back.
"Absolutely." I nodded. "I've been waiting to continue reading Precht's notes for a while now, but I didn't want to do it without you."
Levy oohed as I got up and wrapped her fingers around mine. We then walked over to the Guild, ignoring the members in the main hall as we entered our little sanctuary there. We grabbed the book we wanted and huddled down behind our desk.
After a good few hours of reading, Levy excused herself, stating that she had to do something today, promising there would be a surprise for me tomorrow. She gave me one last kiss before walking away, though not before I slapped her on the ass.
Levy turned back with an outraged expression, but I saw how her face was becoming to redden as she clearly enjoyed that. I pointed that out with a grin, and she huffed in response before quickly making her retreat.
"Hey, little bro!" Elfman greeted me with a manly hug once I left the library.
"How are you doing?" I asked my giant friend while he had his arm over my shoulder.
"Doing well," he replied with a grin. "I feel like a true man, and I thought about doing some manly workout before calling it a night. Feel like joining me?"
"Oh, that sounds like a great idea," I agreed with him since I felt like doing something else other than reading at the moment. As amazing as those glasses were, I couldn't handle using them for longs periods of time. Though it wasn't as bad after I improved my Archive Magic, so perhaps I would be capable of using them for an entire day in the future if I leveled my Magic even more.
"That's the spirit of a man!" Elfman roared as we walked out of the Guild, making our way to our usual training spot.
It is now Thursday, August 11th, X783. Our name has spread throughout Ishgar. People might now send Job request specifically for us.
Waking up in my own bed in my own house was one of the best feelings I had ever experienced. It could've only been better if Levy was here with me, but that would come in due time. I was sure of that.
With giddy excitement, I took a bath in my own shower and quickly made some breakfast for myself before I was ready to start my day.
I figured I might as well make use of my backyard since it was one of the main reasons I bought this large house. It was the perfect place to plant my own little garden, including those two seeds I got from Idunma, which reminded me I still had no idea what she was. Perhaps I'd have to check the library later or try to ask someone who might know.
Nevertheless, that wasn't important now, so I shook my head, disregarding those thoughts for the time being, and left through the back door. Right, it was time to do some farming.
I had that book about farming with me, so I made sure to check up on it while doing my work. There were a lot of things I needed to keep in mind, and I did lack some equipment, but I could use the sharp claws of my Beast to make do. However, the Metal Mole was adamantly against that and fought against me with all its might when I tried to use its claws for gardening work.
"Why do you keep resisting?" I asked the creature that roared in defiance while sharpening its claws against one another.
"Why can't we just get along like I do with Lord'oran?" I asked as I prepared myself for a tough fight since this Beast was one of the strongest I had ever faced.
"Mah?" The Metal Mole tilted its head after hearing my words, surprising me with its actions.
"Yeah, we don't need to fight," I said, trying something new this time around. This Beast was intelligent, after all, so I hoped I could reason with it.
"In fact, I can even try to make you stronger in the future," I continued talking, seeing how it was considering my offer. "I have those pills that boost the power of any Beast and force it to grow even more powerful."
Light shined in the Metal Mole's eyes as it listened to my words, clearly interested in what I was saying.
"Yeah, I can promise to save you at least one of those pills as long as you stop trying to resist when I wish to use your incredible power," I continued talking while also buttering it up with compliments.
The Metal Mole roared, but this time it wasn't in defiance. If anything, it sounded happy and shook its claws in the air in excitement. I grinned seeing that, feeling good about the way I handled this situation, deciding I could try to use this method more often in the future.
Seeing how happy the Metal Mole was, I couldn't stop myself from saying. "How about I feed you one of those pills right now?"
That got its attention and it began dancing around while shaking its claws in the air. I felt happy just by seeing how much joy it experienced from this. Yeah, I definitely had to try this approach more often in the future since it was obviously the superior way.
Once I regained my senses, I was already transformed in my hybrid form. Quickly, I took out one of those Beast Pills before I gulped it down without hesitation.
Power surged through me as I was transformed into the Mole, and I felt stronger than ever as the Metal Moles claws became longer and even sharper. I had to resist the urge of roaring like the monster did whenever it fought against me. When this surge of power ended, I felt like I could beat Natsu easily in a fight. In fact, I felt like I could try my hand at even Laxus. That man still scared me after our training trip, but maybe it was time to change that.
With a smirk on my face, I went about digging out holes for my seeds, all while thinking about how I'd beat Laxus' weakness out of him when I meet him again. I ended up creating a nice little garden for myself–I made sure to use my Growth Spell on all of the normal seeds–and I even planted the two trees that would provide me with the great Apples of Peace.
Though, I wasn't completely sure if they would be that useful at the moment since I earned some more of those special fruits during my trip with Laxus. They looked the same as the best ones I ever received, but they didn't provide me with any benefits when I consumed them.
'Perhaps I need to prepare them in a special way?' They were a type of food, so I could try cooking with them. Though I did also pick up Alchemy, so maybe the path to my future lay there. Both options seemed valuable, though I currently had no idea how to make use of those fruits.
'Cooking might be better at the moment.' I thought after I finished with my gardening. That was easier for me to work on since I had no idea how to improve my Alchemy other than simply making the various salves and cures from the book. Unless, I met with that old woman in the forest. Maybe she could help me with that.
Either way, I still planned to improve my cooking, and I knew the perfect way to do that, by preparing a large feast for the Guild!
With a pep in my steps, I made my way over to Fairy Tail. I truly was overjoyed from what happened earlier with the Metal Mole and was happy that I made a new friend.
"Hey, Mira!" I greeted her as I entered the building.
"Oh, if it isn't the Cooking Wizard himself," Mira replied with a teasing look.
"What?" I asked with a tilt of my head.
"You actually don't know, do you?" Mira giggled at me before handing me a magazine with me on the front page.
"What?!" I stared in shock, remembering about Jason and how he asked me various questions.
"You're becoming quite famous, hmm?" Mira leaned in next to me as I read through the article in shock, finding out that even my fight with Natsu was mentioned, though they referred to him as the Salamander.
"Maybe I should take you with me on one of my shoots," Mira mused, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"I don't think that's a great idea," I quickly said. "I'm me, and you are… well… you!"
"I'm what?" Mira asked as she hummed.
"Well, you are one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen," I said and gestured at myself. "And I'm me."
"Yes, you are you," Mira replied with a teasing grin. "And you are far more handsome than you give yourself credit for."
"Oh… thanks," I said, feeling my confidence from her words, though I felt the need to change the topic. "So, would you like to help me with making breakfast for everyone? I have plenty of new ingredients I want to play around with?"
"Well, I can't say no if you are asking?" Mira replied as she led me to the kitchen area.
Cooking gains 552x2=1104EXP. Now at rank 2 (2616/3000).
"Sooo…" Mira trailed off while we prepared breakfast.
"Yes?" I said, urging her to go on.
"How's your relationship with Levy been doing?" Mira asked.
"Pretty great," I answered as a large smile grew on my face. "Things have been amazing. I even got a new house yesterday, so I think it will get even better. If that's even possible."
"You bought a house?" Mira asked in surprise.
"Yeah." I nodded with a happy smile. "It's a big two story one and it has a large backyard. I even made my own little garden this morning."
"Oh, my, aren't you shaping up to be the perfect boyfriend," Mira said with an amused expression, slightly confusing me with her words.
"I'm trying my best," I replied despite my confusion.
"I guess I will have to talk with her soon," Mira mused from beside me.
"About what?" I asked while continuing with my work.
"About this and that. You don't have to worry about it…" Mira said while picking up the prepared meals and quietly added. "... too much."
"What?" I asked and looked at her.
"Nothing," Mira replied with a teasing smirk and winked at me before exiting the kitchen with the platters in hand.
I continued preparing the food, even getting the chance to cook some for lunch, all while wondering what Mira was on about. Once I was done, I left the kitchen and helped her serve the meals. The members there all greeted me warmly and thanked me for the free food. I even noticed there were a few people that weren't part of the Guild happily eating, but I didn't mind since I prepared plenty of food.
"You are not allowed to leave the Guild!" Makarov said as I sat down beside him. "I don't think we will be able to survive without you!"
I chuckled as I watched him eat the breakfast as if he hadn't had anything to eat in months. "I don't plan on leaving, Master. I quite enjoy it here."
"Good, good." He nodded with a happy expression.
"I met Porlyusica, by the way," I said idly, remembering that he had promised to introduce me to her.
"You did?" Makarov looked at me in surprise.
"Well, technically, I did." I scratched my head. "I just briefly talked with her by sending her notes through my wolf."
I then had to explain how I managed to improve my Conjure Spell even further, which greatly impressed him. We talked for a bit more, and I got to tell him about my recent lecture Job. Makarov cackled like mad when I told him I impressed Gran Doma, but he refused to tell me why.
In the end, we ended up going to his office to fight against the monster known as paperwork. Though he did mention that Warrod would be here in two days, so I had to keep my schedule free for that if I wanted to meet him.
After returning to the main hall with a Makarov that was skipping along like a little kid, I ended up making eye contact with Cana. She clicked her tongue and looked away, making me wonder what I did for her to react like that.
Cana was part of the Guild, and she was a friend of mine, so I walked over to see what this was all about. She clicked her tongue again, making a "tsk" sound once I neared her, but she didn't move away from her seat.
"Hey, is everything alright?" I asked with a worried tone.
Cana clicked her tongue after hearing the pretty boy ask her if she was alright. No, she wasn't! And that was obvious to all who knew her.
Oh, how much she wanted to just be angry and yell at him for no reason, especially because her current sour mood was because of him. However, the pretty boy was genuine, she could tell that much after getting to know him.
"No, I'm not okay," she grumbled under her breath.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" He asked as he sat down in front of her.
'Yes, you can by not participating in the upcoming trials.' She wanted to tell him her thoughts, but she refused to take the easy way out.
"I don't know… maybe," Cana replied while staring at her drink.
Why did he have to be so strong? He even beat Natsu without getting hit! Something she wasn't confident of doing. Natsu was an idiot, but he was an amazing fighter, much better than she was.
"I'm just… unsatisfied with my Magic," Cana grumbled under her breath.
Why couldn't she have some amazing innate Magic like that man? Why was she forced to rely on Holder Magic unlike that man? Why wasn't she as strong as that man?
Those thoughts had haunted her for the past years as she tried and failed over and over to become an S-Class Mage.
'Will I ever get the chance to confront him?' Cana could always walk up to that man when he was around, but she refused to do it until she was on his level, until she was S-Class just like him.
"What's wrong with your Magic?" Leon asked her.
'Everything!' She mentally yelled.
"I think it's really great. As you told me, it's one of the most versatile ones I've heard about," he continued with a happy smile, and her gut twisted itself seeing that. "You can even predict the future! That's really amazing, you know."
"Yeah, well…" Cana found it hard to stay mad after seeing his sincere expression. "It's just not strong enough…"
"Then make it strong enough," Leon simply stated as if that was an easy thing to do.
"You've already accomplished so much with it, so I'm sure you can make it even stronger as long as you put your mind to it," he continued with that pretty smile of his, twisting her gut even more.
"I mean…" she trailed off.
"You're already pretty awesome, so I know it's only a matter of time until you make your Magic even better," Leon said, and she felt her heart speed up.
"Yeah," Cana replied, allowing a small smile to form on her face.
"If you don't mind, we can even train together some time," he continued, and she felt a warm feeling surge within her. "I like to practice my Magic for at least a few hours every day. You can join me if you ever feel like it."
"I might just do that," Cana told him with a smirk, feeling a lot better now.
"I might not know a lot about Holder Magic, but I can try my best to help you even," Leon offered, and Cana felt her gut twist itself again, just thinking how she was actually angry at him earlier when he hadn't done anything wrong.
"I'll take you up on that offer," she replied and grabbed her drink. "Now, share a drink with me, pretty boy."
"Alright, but just a little since I want to do some reading later," he said and lightly poured some beer in his own glass.
"Cheers!" The clinked glasses and continued idly talking about random things. He ended up telling her about his recent Jobs, surprising her when he shared he had done a lecture in one of the Magic Schools. That actually got her hopes up that he might really be able to help her improve her Magic.
The story about the Metal Mole, however, made her laugh hard just because of how unbelievable it sounded. Cana really couldn't believe how he ended up using Take Over on a weak monster that somehow ended up turning into a true powerful monster while trying to resist him. What made it even better was that Leon said that he believed it was due to her divining his luck for the future.
'I'm pretty great, huh?' Cana thought as she watched him leave the main hall. 'I guess I am.'
Levy was already waiting for me in the library–I saw her enter it while I was cheering up Cana–and she was sitting behind our desk.
"Hey there," I greeted her with a kiss before picking her up and depositing her on my lap. Levy pouted at me, but she didn't protest and even leaned back against me as I wrapped my arms around her stomach.
"So how have you been?" I asked as I rested my head above hers.
"Pretty great," Levy replied as she put her hands above mine. "I'm even prepared for your surprise."
"Is that so?" I asked and pulled her closer. "And what's the surprise?"
"You'll find out later." Levy stuck her tongue at.
I grumbled and leaned in, biting her on the neck in response, knowing exactly how she would react to that.
"Mmm." Levy let out a soft moaning sound, enjoying the little bit of pain.
"When did you get this cheeky!" She turned around, staring at me with a red face and slapped my shoulder once.
"When I learned you like it," I replied with a grin, and she snorted back at me.
"Well… keep doing whatever you are doing," Levy turned around, hiding her face from me. "But let's do some studying first, and then… we will have some fun."
"That sounds perfect," I whispered in her ear, enjoying how her body trembled from my voice. The two Magic Theory books we hadn't finished were on the desk, and I picked one up before opening it for us to continue with our studies while I used my Telepathy to connect mentally with Levy.

I was more than satisfied with my progress, feeling I understood Magic even better after those few hours of studying. The topic about how certain types of Magic changed the user on a fundamental level fascinated me, especially because Natsu's own brand of Fire Magic was mentioned there.
According to the text, Slayer types of Magic could only be taught by the species that used them. The only other way was to implant a Lacrima formed from the death of a sufficiently powerful individual of that species.
That made me wonder if Natsu had a Fire Dragon Lacrima implanted in himself, but Levy informed me he didn't, or at least she thought he didn't. That meant he was taught how to use his Magic by an actual Dragon.
That was interesting and all, but I didn't understand why it was called Dragon Slayer Magic when it was taught by a Dragon. Shouldn't it be just Dragon Magic in that case? I thought the same about the Devil and God Slayer ones described in the book. It made no sense for them to have Slayer in their name if one had to learn them from beings they were named after.
Levy was just as confused as me on that topic, and we spent quite a bit of time discussing this. Unfortunately, we couldn't come up with an answer to why they were named as such.
However, I couldn't help but wonder if I could somehow replicate those types of Magic on my own. Perhaps I could spend time studying how Natsu used his… or I could maybe try communicating with Lord'oran to see if he could somehow help me with creating Devil Slayer on my own.
Both options sounded plausible, and I could see myself attempting to do something like that in the near future. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I didn't get to dwell on that topic for long since we both got tired from using the glasses for so long.
Levy ended up returning with me to my new house, and she was fidgeting nervously on the way, taking a peek at me every few minutes before looking away in embarrassment. I just held her hand and gave it a soft squeeze to inform her there was nothing to worry about since I was sure that I would enjoy the surprise she had prepared for me no matter what.
Levy told me to wait for her in the bedroom, so I just sat down on the bed while wondering what would happen. I had a few ideas in mind, but I wasn't sure of exactly what to expect.
The door cracked open and my brain shut down after Levy walked in, dressed in that bunny suit I got from the Almiraj. She nervously fidgeted and moved her arms awkwardly as if she didn't know what to do with them.
"Woah…" I muttered, just staring at her. I had seen her almost naked, but this was different. There was a deeper meaning to her current attire, and she looked so sexy like that.
Levy straightened her back after hearing me, proudly puffing her chest as she gained a surge of confidence. She stepped forward while putting on a coy smile. "Do you like what you see?"
I rapidly nodded my head on instinct. "You look… sexy."
That seemed to be the right word as she gained even more confidence in her steps. Levy walked over, doing a twirl right before she reached, and leaned forward, her lips stopping right before mine.
"Tonight," Levy whispered with a hot breath.
I gulped as she gently pushed me, making me fall on the bed before she ever so slowly crawled up to me. Levy gently bit my ear before continuing, "I will make you happy."
My body shivered as she began kissing me down, starting from my neck. My hands instantly sought out her body, but she acted quickly, immediately putting a stop to that as she grasped my hands in hers.
"No, no." Levy shook her head. She stared at me with an intense and excited look as she said, "I'll do all the work. You just have to enjoy yourself."
I allowed her to take control, which only excited her more. Levy began trailing kisses down my body while removing my clothes one by one, until I was left only with my underwear on.
My member bulged against its confinement in an almost painful manner due to how hard I was. Levy gently rubbed it at first, her eyes boring into mine while carefully watching my expression. She smirked a moment later before slowly pulling my pants down, her eyes widening as my member sprang out.
"That's… bigger than I expected…" Levy muttered quietly while gently grabbing my member before slowly beginning to stroke it up and down.
"Oh…" I let out a sound of satisfaction, and her eyes found mine again.
"Do you like that?" She asked, the smile on her face growing bigger and bigger after each second of her watching my face, and her strokes became more and more confident by the moment.
"Oh, yes," I muttered quietly, feeling something incredible at that moment.
"Hmm." Levy hummed, staring at me for a moment before a determined look appeared on her face. She then leaned down, placing a little kiss on the tip, and my member throbbed in excitement.
"Oh, fuck," I couldn't help but exclaim as she began gently kissing it up and down, all while stroking my erection the entire time.
This was incredible, but Levy wasn't done as she gained even more confidence from my reactions, so she leaned in, taking my member in her hot mouth. My hands grasped the sheets of the bed as her little tongue began dancing around my erection.
"Oh, fuck," I repeated with a heavy breath, looking down at her. Levy looked back, her eyes never leaving my own while she began bobbing her head up and down, her hand never stopping her stroking motions the entire time.
"Shit," I muttered, my member beginning to throb, causing her to speed up her movements.
Levy began to gag as my length began pushing her throat, but that only served to excite me more, and I couldn't contain myself any longer, cumming right in her mouth before I could even warn her.
My head dropped on the bed, as an indescribable sense of peace and enlightenment overtook me. At that moment, I truly felt that I could do anything I sat my mind to.
"It's… not going down?" Levy's words snapped me back to reality, and she was staring at my still erect member in wonder.
A laugh escaped my mouth as I said, "My turn!"
I quickly got up to grab her, and before she could respond, I lightly threw her on the bed, switching our positions. One of my hands kept hold of both of hers, keeping them above her head while I leaned in. "Now it's my turn."
"Abab." Levy couldn't form proper words at the turnaround, and I didn't let her talk as I began kissing down her body. Once I got to her chest, I pulled down her corset, revealing her perky breasts.
They weren't the biggest, but they fit perfectly in my hand, and I cupped one of them, giving it a nice squeeze. Levy moaned, weakly struggling and trying to get free from my grasp, though her words were entirely opposed to her actions, "Just like that."
My lips latched on to her delectable nipple, gently sucking on it while my tongue lapped around it. I gave it a little bite, eliciting a loud moan from here. "Oh, yes."
I moved onto her other breast, playing and sucking on her quivering nipple before moving down, kissing every inch of her body as I pulled her corset further and further down.
I looked at her for confirmation once I passed her stomach, and her eyes were begging me to continue. So I did, pulling down her panties to reveal a pink and wet slit.
"Ohhh." Levy moaned as I gently rubbed it up and down, my thumb easily locating her the little button that made her squirm in delight. Then I pushed a finger into her hot insides, her body convulsing in pleasure.
As I began slowly pushing it in and out while continuing to stroke her clit with my thumb, I leaned in, giving her slit a lick.
"Fuck." Levy broke out of my grasp and grabbed my hair, pushing my head against her slit. Her moans echoed in the room as I applied everything I knew about biology and seduction to make her squirm.
Levy's body shook, and she released my hair, her arms weakly falling next to her while her slit pulsed in pleasure.
"Leo…" She said with a heavy breath as she looked at me with desire burning in her eyes. "I need you inside me… now."
I didn't need to be told twice, so I crawled up, my eyes staring into her own while my length rested against her slit. She wrapped her arms around my neck, offering me a bright smile as I lined myself. And then I pushed.
"Oh fuck!" Both of us moaned from the experience, and I felt my erection throbbing as her hot insides tried to suck me in even deeper.
Slowly, I began pushing, carefully watching her expression as she got used to the feeling. In and out, I began pumping inside her, increasing the speed of my thrusts with each moment.
"Leo! Fuck! Yes!" Levy moaned louder and louder as I increased my pace, making me more and more excited as I watched her expression.
The sounds of flesh against flesh mixed with her moans as she wrapped her legs around, trying to pull me even deeper.
"Yes! Yes!" Levy continued yelling all while staring me in the eyes, I leaned in, taking her lips and giving them a little bite, causing her entire body to quiver. Her insides tightened around my erection, and I couldn't stop myself from firing my seed inside her.
Both of us just stayed like that for a moment, just staring into each other's eyes, trying to convey just how much we enjoyed this. I, however, wasn't done yet as I still felt full of energy.
"More?" Levy asked with wide eyes as she realized that I was still hard.
"Oh, yeah, I'm far from done," I whispered and began thrusting anew.
We continued on, experimenting a little with what we liked until we ended with Levy's ass in the air. My hands were squeezing her firm yet soft cheeks, giving them a slap every now and then that only served to excite her and make her moan.
"Just like that," she moaned against the pillow while her hands tightly held the sheet. I finished inside her again, and I finally felt myself go limp.
"That…" I breathed out as I dropped beside her. "Was amazing."
Levy didn't say anything in response for a few moments before she turned towards me and slapped me on the shoulder. "Leo!"
"What?" I asked, a large smile growing on my face as I saw her flushed and happy expression.
"I don't think I will be able to walk tomorrow!" She snorted before throwing her arms around me, nestling her face on my chest, seemingly ready to fall asleep.
"We might want to wash up before sleeping," I said, stopping myself from yawning.
"I don wanna," she mumbled against me.
I took a deep breath and pushed myself up before taking her with me. Levy said nothing in response and just hugged me tighter while I carried her over to the bathroom to clean both of us. After washing both of us, I returned to the bedroom, gently laying her next to me. Her arms and legs immediately wrapped around me before she fell asleep. I followed shortly after, with an inexplicable sense of peace flowing inside me.
