At the Airjitzu Temple, Cole, Jay, Zane, Rose and Morro were all looking at the Time Blade in awe. "Woah, amazing." Cole said in awe.
"It is like anything I've ever seen." Zane said in amazement.
"So cool!" Jay exclaimed as he lifted the Time Blade.
"I urge you boys to be careful with that thing." Rose told them.
"Yeah, the Time Blade is a very powerful weapon." Morro warned them. "You all saw first hand what it can do."
"Uhh you think I don't know that." Jay said with a smile. "Now watch this!" He said before he threw the blade right at a stack of boxes with a target painted on them. "Boom! Haha 8 bullseyes in a row, beat that." He said, giving Cole a smirk.
"Oh I did." Cole said.
"Oh really? When?" Jay asked as he crossed his arms.
"When I got Nine in a row." Cole mentioned as he went over and pulled out the blade.
"He's got you there blue boy." Morro said in amusement.
"Okay, yeah, if you wanna count that." Jay muttered.
"But watch this." Cole said before he threw a box into the air and thrusted the blade forward.
"Haha! You missed!" Jay laughed
"Did I?" Cole asks as he gestures them to look up, seeing that he used the blade's power to slow down the box from falling down. "Slow moving target, easy peasy, lemon squeezy!" He exclaimed before he jumped up and started slashing at the Box before landing on the ground with a confident smile. "And that's how you get rid of an empty box by the way." He said as something fell out from the destroyed box.
"Um, that box was not empty," Zane noted, pointing to the object which was a blue stuffed animal as Jay screamed in horror and rushed to the stuffed animal.
"Mr. Cuddly Whomp," Jay whimpered with sad puppy eyes.
Rose raised a brow, "I'm sorry, Mr. Cuddly Who?" She repeated in amusement as Jay turned to them.
"Uh he is a teddy bear I used to love when I was 5… but now he's totally and-" Jay tried to explain.
"We all know you still sleep with him, Jay." Morro told him with a brow and grinned.
"Uh-Dah and I don't care who knows it!" Jay shouted hotly as he hugged his stuffed animal close. "Mr. Cuddle Whomp…"
"Okay…" Rose said with a weird smile before Zane took the blade from Cole.
"Switching to playful mode!" Zane said before he spun around and flung the Blade at a wall near where Nya was working.
"He, watch it!" Nya called out with a look. "I'm working here!"
"Yes, both you and your brother are." Rose mentioned as she looked over at Kai who was busy flipping through some books with the helmet he got from one of the Vermilion Warriors. "What exactly are the two of you working on?"
"Nya has been attempting to locate her stolen Samurai X suit and it's consuming her." Zane mentioned.
"Boy, she's as bad as her brother." Cole mentioned as they looked at Kai, who kept his eyes on the emblem, deep in thought while looking at the many books in front of them.
"Ah-ha, I've got a clue!" Kai exclaimed as he picked up a book and flipped through it. A disappointed look on his face then appeared as he closed it. "I haven't got a clue." He complained as he threw the book near the others feet.
"He's been reading those Ninjago history books all day." Morro mentioned as he picked up the book.
"I don't get those two. We finally get a victory and they choose to celebrate by dorking out instead of doing something fun and cool?" Jay questioned before he had an excited look on her face.
"Give them a break dears, obviously whatever it is they are doing is important to them." Rose told them as the others nodded in agreement.
Jay then gasps in excitement. "Hey guys, let's run straight at each other and see if this'll slow us down before we collide!" He suggested as he, Cole and Zane rushed off into positions.
Rose facepalmed herself as Morro just shook his head before following the others but then Jay rushed back and picked up his stuffed animal and cuddled with it as he rushed after the others.
"I really think Lloyd and I are starting to get the hang of this whole master thing." Lydie said as she and Lloyd were in Wu's room, while Wu was sleeping while Misako came in with a tea set.
"Yeah, and so then I come storming in on my jet, maintaining low altitude for tactical benefits, and I just completely overwhelm the snake-army-samurai-fighter-whatever-they-are." Lloyd said with a smile.
"Until they threw those snakes into our vehicles and crashed us into the sand." Lydie continued, "Faster forward, General Dee and General Dumb get the Time Blade and use it pretty badly on us," She went on as Misako finished pouring Wu's tea.
"Children. Perhaps you should wait a bit before telling the rest of your stor-" Misako tried to say before Lloyd, who continued talking, accidentally hit the tray causing the tea to spill on her as she let out a loud shriek from hot liquid.
Lloyd and Lydie jumped at the sound and turned to see their mother with a tea stain on her, "Uh oh," Lloyd said in regret.
"Uh, Mom, are you okay?" Lydie asked carefully as Misako glared at them before taking a breath.
"Lloyd, Lydie, you have three seconds to leave this room before I do something regrettable," Misako said calmly.
This frightened Lloyd and Lydie, "Uh, hey mom it was just an accident," Lloyd tried to say.
"One." Misako started.
"Lloyd, we better get going." Lydie said as she held her brother's shoulder and quickly moved to the door.
"Two." Misako said as Lloyd and Lydie rushed out the door instantly. She then sighed and picked of the fallen tea, "I'll come back with some more Tea, and a change of clothes," She told Wu as she left the room.
At the Hands of Time's Hideout, Krux and Acronix are pacing around Raggmunk and Blunck. "You lost the Time Blade?!" Acronix started.
"We had the Time Blade, and now we do not have the Time Blade." Krux added.
"Why?" Acronix questioned.
"Because you dolts lost it!" Krux answered.
"To a bunch of kids!" Acronix added.
"Kids!" Krux yelled out.
"It was the Blue Ninja!" Blunck said in defense. "He came flying in on some weird, super-fast bike." He said.
"I definitely want to get one." Raggmunk commented, finding Jay's bike impressive.
"So I did the whole time-bubble thing." Blunck added.
"He did do the whole time-bubble thing. So did I." Raggmunk said.
"You used the Time Blade?!" Acronix questioned in shock and anger.
"You were not given permission to use the Time Blade!" Krux exclaimed.
"Because you do not know how to use the Time Blade!" Acronix added.
"Because if you knew how to use the Time Blade…" Krux started while tapping Blunck in the chest. "...you would not have lost the Time Blade!" He snapped at his face.
Raggmunk and Blunck looked at each other. "Now that I think about it, maybe we didn't use the Time Blade." Raggmunk said sheepishly.
"Yeah, I don't think we did." Blunck said with a nod.
"You use the Time Blade, lose the Time Blade, then lie about using and losing the Time Blade." Acronix said with a look.
"Okay, yes, true, but we have come up with a way to get it back." Raggmunk said.
"We lure all the Ninjas here by telling them we'll trade the blade for Cyrus Borg and Demir." Blunck suggested as he gestured to the two, while Borg was working on a device while Demir was reshaping metal.
"We need Cyrus Borg." Krux reminded them. "Without his Apparatus, my plan won't work!"
"And we need the Master of Metal to not only keep him from giving the Ninja advantages, but also to make enough metal for our army." Acronix added with a look.
"Yeah, I know. Um…" Raggmunk said as he rubbed his chin. "Okay, we just trade them Demir and then we take the Time Blade and don't give them Borg."
"Double-cross." Blunck said with a smile as the Hands of Time gave them a brow as Krux facepalmed himself.
"Has it occurred to you that if we do that, The Master of Metal will tell the Ninja the location of our secret headquarters, see our master plan and try to take our Blade?!" Krux questioned them as Borg and Demir watched with smiles.
"It has not." Raggmunk admitted.
"Now there's an idea," Demir whispered to Borg who nodded.
"Furthermore, we need all the Time Blades, including the one you lost!" Krux yelled out.
"This is your chance, Cyrus." Borg whispered. "Time for a little industrial espionage." He said as he eyed a red wire.
But before he could cut it, Machia came up to him. "Are you sure you want to cut those wires? They look important for the Apparatus to fully operate." She said as she hissed at them. "The way lungs are important for a creature to properly operate."
Machia then felt a rattling on her chest armor and turned to Demir who had a dangerous glare, "Don't," He warned her, "I can rip off your armor, but I can also compress it while your snakes are still inside," He said seriously.
"You don't have the nerve," Machia called his bluff.
"Try me," Demir dared as Machia's eyes widened, realizing he was serious as she gave a snarl, "That's what I thought," He said with a smirk, releasing her.
"I'm going to enjoy tearing you apart." Machia hissed while rubbing her chest armor to keep it in place.
"Yeah, good luck with that," Demir told her as Machia walked back to the Hands of Time.
"Okay, Plan B. Hear me out." Blunck said to them. "Operation Fudge Bomb. We just need 1000 gallons of chocolate ice cream or-"
"Or a plan that will actually work?" Machia interrupted.
"You have our attention." Acronix said to her.
"Because of your Borg watch's temporal scanner…" Machia started.
"Regret adding that." Borg muttered with a look.
"...we know the Blade's location." Machia finished as she walked up a door and opened it. "Now we just need to go and get it." She said while outside there were a few tank like war vehicles while the Vermillion Eggs were still around the area.
Borg then turned to Demir, "Demir, if there was ever a time to execute our plan it's now," He whispered, "With them all going after your friends, no one will be here to guard us,"
"I'll sneak us out. But even still, with how much has already hatched, it will be hard to get around. Especially with you in a wheelchair, Borg." Demir whispered.
"No, I'll only slow you down. Stay and try to map out the layout of this Swamp, remember it's not just me they've taken," Borg instructed quietly. "I will do what I can to sabotage the apparatus, so once you have your chance, escape, map the area and get back to your friends."
Demir nodded with a serious look, agreeing with Borg's plan.
Back at the Airjitzu Temple, Morro held up the Time Blade while Cole, Jay and Zane took running positions, "How did you talk me into using this?" Morro asked with a look.
"Let's just do this." Jay said excitedly. "Time Blade ready?" He questioned as Morro boredly raised the blade as Zane, Cole, and Jay got ready to run before the three yelled and rushed at each other before Morro slammed the Time Blade down, trapping them in a time bubble.
"FFFFFaaaasssstttteeeerrr, ggggguuuuyyyysss." Cole said in slow mo.
"YYYYoooou''''rrrreee ssssoooo ssssslooooowww," Jay added.
The Garma-Twins then came in and saw what they were doing, "Hey, what are you doing?" Lloyd said with a look.
"I thought I'd told you guys not to mess around with the Time Blade!" Lydie said with a firm look.
"WWWWWWWeeeeee aaaaaarrrrrreeeeennnnn'''''ttttttt." Jay said before the time bubble vanished as the four collided with each other as they chuckled as Lydie picked the Time Blade out of Morro's hand.
"I specifically said to hide it somewhere safe." Lydie said firmly as she held the blade.
"And we ignored you." Jay said with a shrug.
"Besides, we're, um, skill-building." Cole lied.
"What skill? Room-destroying?" Lydie questioned rhetorically as she turned to Morro and Rose. "And I would expect better from you two."
"For the record, they talked me into it," Morro defended.
"And it was hard to even get them to listen for once." Rose added.
"In any case, this Blade is extremely powerful and highly coveted." Lloyd added as he stepped beside his sister.
"Nothing this valuable will be so easily conceded." Lydie finished firmly.
"Nothing this valuable will be so easily conceded." Cole mocked to Jay, "Seems to me, somebody's earned her father's talent of being a wet blanket." He commented.
"What did you say?" Lydie asked with a brow, suddenly standing in front of Cole and Jay as the two yelped and fell on their butts.
"I believe Cole's intent is to describe you as a blanket which has become wet, not for the purposes of putting out a fire, but rather to extinguish our enjoyment." Zane explained to Lydie as she groaned.
"Come on, Captain. Lighten up," Jay said, taking the time blade from Lydie, "This thing isn't going anywhere," He said tossing it up before it came back down, and bonked Rose on the head.
"Ow! I say!" Rose said with a glare to Jay.
"Heheh." Jay chuckled nervously. "See?"
"I see that after victory, some of you have chosen to amuse yourselves." Wu said as the Ninja turned and saw him at the door, his beard long enough that it nearly hit the floor while using his cane to support himself. "I encourage you not to be so careless. Nothing this valuable will be so easily conceded." He said wisely while looking at the Slow Mo Blade.
"Uh, sorry, Master Wu." Cole apologized with a bow.
"Well put, Master." Jay added.
"Well put?!" Lydie questioned in disbelief. "I literally just said the exact same thing!"
"Yeah but with Wu, it carries more weight," Morro told his girlfriend.
"What does he have that I don't have?" Lydie asked them.
"Um, Age?" Rose answered.
"Experience?" Zane suggested.
"A Staff?" Cole tried.
"A hat?" Lloyd joked.
"A long white beard?" Jay commented.
"I'm not answering." Morro said as he didn't want his girlfriend to slug him while Lydie gave the four boys a growl.
"Kai, Nya, join. This is important." Wu said to the two Smith siblings as they stood up and walked up to the group. "You have had a victory. A well-earned one. But Krux, Acronix and their forces still have Demir, Cyrus Borg, and many others in their clutches. Do not allow your confidence to cloud your vigilance." He wisely said as the others listened to his words. "I made that mistake once."
Kai then looked back to the symbol on the helmet as he then had a flashback as he saw a similar symbol in a familiar place he hadn't seen in a while. "Kai, is something troubling you?" Wu asked as Kai was snapped back into reality.
Kai sighed as he showed the symbol to Wu. "The marking on this helmet. Do you recognize it?" He asked before Wu looked at the symbol before he gasped in shock as he backed away and turned his back to Kai. "You do recognize it. What do you know? Tell me, please." He begged as Wu looked down in shock.
"This means… This changes everything." Wu said while facing the door before a vermillion egg slammed through the walls and nearly hit them as it landed at the side of the room.
"What was that?!" Jay exclaimed as they look through the hole the egg came from.
Outside on the ground, the Vermillion, with The Hands of Time, Machia, Blunck and Raggmunk leading them as they had some war vehicle behind them with catapults underneath the Airjitzu Temple as the Ninja rushed out and saw the army below.
"I've run a fourth-level analysis." Zane spoke up. "It appears the snake warriors have returned to retrieve the blade."
"Really? I could have told you that with a third-level analysis." Jay sarcastically said. "Or a no-level analysis!"
"Well, we're all the way up here and they're all the way down there." Cole said with a smirk. "No chance they could reach…" He was cut off when a pod launched up and some snakes came out.
"Oh, come on. They built catapults?!" Nya questioned tiredly.
"Whatever. It's just a bunch of snakes." Cole said to them as Lydie and Lloyd supported Wu outside.
"Remain on guard, ninja." Wu said to them. "There is more to your adversaries than you may think." He said as more pods came in with armors as some warriors formed.
"Uh, whatever. It's just a bunch of warriors." Cole said nervously. "I mean, they are not armed. But we are." He said as they all readied their weapons.
"Oh, big mistake!" Jay taunted. "Never bring fists to a ninja weapon fight!" He called before another pod came out and released some swords, which the Vermillion Warriors picked up.
"Will you please stop jinxing us?!" Rose exclaimed in annoyance.
"Okay, these Vermillion Warriors have got top notch timing," Jay said in surprise.
"Doesn't matter. We can take-" Kai tried to say before he realized what Jay just said. "Wait. That's what they're called? Vermillion Warriors?" He asked with a small laugh, which Jay returned.
"I know, right? So lame." Jay said with a chuckle. "There are so many better names."
"Like what? Snakurai's?" Morro questioned.
"Actually, the name Vermillion is quite clever." Zane nodded. "You see, vermillion is a shape of red with a slight orange tint, a color which symbolizes life and eternity." He explained as more Vermillion Warriors formed up. "So in that sense, they should actually be commended for…"
"Guys, can we focus please?!" Lydie shouted with a look. "Everyone ready?" She asked.
"I will sit this one out to preserve my strength." Wu said as he sat down with the Time Blade next to him.
"Good idea, uncle." Lloyd said as Lydie nodded.
"NINJA, GO!" The Ninja all shouted as they did Spinjitzu and knocked the snakes down with ease as they cheered at their victory.
On the ground, Machia is seeing this through a telescope while the rest hear the cheering. "Great plan, General Machia." Blunck sarcastically said.
"Yea, it took the Ninja, what, three seconds to defeat them?" Raggmunk added as he turned to the Hands of Time. "See? This is what happens when you put her in charge."
"That was merely the first salvo." Machia retorted. "Next, we bring in the big boy." She said with a smirk.
Back at the Temple, the Ninja were still celebrating their victory.
"Ha, that was way easier than I thought it would be," Morro laughed.
"My thoughts exactly," Cole smirked.
"Awesome work, everyone." Lydie complimented.
Kai then went up to Wu, "Now can you tell me what that marking means?" He asked them.
"Yes, you must know that-" Wu stopped himself when he noticed the Vermillion snakes grouping around the discarded bits of armor, "We have another concern," He said seriously as the armor started building up.
"Um, what are they doing?" Rose asked in worry as they backed up.
"Oh I do not like where this is going," Jay feared as the snakes formed a Vermillion Behemoth that roared at them.
Machia laughed as her eyes glowed, "The big boy," she said with a smirk.
The Ninja tried fighting the Behemoth but their attacks bounced off its armor. It grabbed Nya before throwing her at Kai. Kai then had an idea. "Hey, Nya, do you remember our old babysitter, Mrs. Grumbmiller?" Kai asked.
"The mean one with the mole on her-" Nya tried say.
"Yeah." Kai nodded. "Do you remember what we used to do when she made us go to bed early?"
"Of course." Nya said with a smirk as the others let out painful grunts and groans as they were knocked back by the behemoth Vermillion Warrior.
The Behemoth then slithered up to Lydie as it was about to finish one of them off before Nya called out. "Hey you, it's not my bedtime! I still have plenty of energy." She quickly ran forward as the Behemoth didn't see Kail below in front of it before she jumped off of her brother and leaped over the behemoth. She then landed near the edge as the Behemoth slithered closer to her. "But it's lights out for you!" She yelled out as Kai tripped the Behemoth and Nya kicked it over the edge.
"The Bigger they are, the faster they fall," Morro quipped with a smirk as they saw the Behemoth hit the bottom.
"Oh, man! Whatever they paid Mrs. Grumbmiller wasn't nearly enough!" Jay joked in amusement.
"Come on. We can use Destiny's Bounty to fly above all this and get a good view of the others' position." Lydie said before some rocks hit the Bounty from the catapults hit the Bounty, causing it to take damage.
"Uh oh!" Cole said in worry.
"Okay, that one's on me," Lydie conceded, slumping over as the Bounty kept getting bombarded by boulders as it then slowly descended to ground level.
"Overwhelming force." Machia spoke up through the mind. "Do not stop until the mission is complete." She ordered.
Inside the temple, Misako, who was in just her underwear, was folding up her tea-stained clothes and was about to take a clean set before she saw a Vermillion egg flying in as she ducked as she saw it open and a Vermillion Warrior formed as it armed herself.
"Oh, hello." Misako said with a look as she grabbed a bottle of perfume and tossed it at the Warrior, scattering him. "Ever heard of knocking first?" She asked as she had her back turned to it as she turned to the wall and brought out a sword that was on the wall. "Good thing there's weapons all over this temple." She said as the Vermillion Warrior reformed as the two then clashed weapons.
Back outside, more Vermilion snakes came down and started forming in the armors when they landed. The ninja started to fight them off before Lloyd came up with an idea. "We have to go on the offensive!" He told the others.
"My brother's right!" Lydie called out. "They're bringing everything up here, which means we have to go down there and take out their equipment!"
"But how?!" Jay exclaimed.
"Like this," Lydie answered as she summoned her Elemental Dragon.
"Um, Captain, I am not certain going down there is the best tactic," Rose told Lydie in concern.
"Especially, on a Power Dragon," Morro added, "You know the moment you get freaked, that thing will vanished-"
"That was a long time ago!" Lydiequickly told them. "I am now a master…"
"In training!" Jay called out.
"And our temple is under attack! I don't have time for fear!" Lydie stated as she looked down at the catapults. "I'll take care of the ones down below. You guys hold them off up here! And protect the Time Blade!" She called as she flew down with a roar.
"Hmm. You do have to admire her unfounded moxie." Jay commented as he saw Lydie flying down.
The Vermilion started to fire at him as he dodged each incoming attack before taking out each pod being flung right at Lydie. She then flew down and took out the catapults by grabbing hold of one of them and flipping over the rest. When they launched egg bombs up to the temple Lydie blasted them with her dragon elemental breath, blasting the swords out.
"Yes!" Lydie cheered, but the swords started falling down towards her. "Uh-oh." She said as she flew around and dodged the swords.
The Hands of Time and the three snakes stood there while Blunck and Raggmunk ran off to avoid the swords while Krux, Acronix, and Machia simply stepped aside to avoid the swords.
"The Ninja are not the only ones with air power." Machia said as she then spoke through the hive mind. "Sky team, go." Then coming out from the side of the mountain are Vermillion Warriors who have flying gliders on their backs as they flew up with them clashing their weapons as they flew up to Lydie.
"Stay cool, Girl. you're a master in training. This is no time for fear." Lydie told himself, getting slightly nervous, right before a Vermillion Warrior flew up next to her with a hiss. Lydie scream in fright as her dragon vanished, "Uh, oh." she whimpered before she started falling and screaming.
"Captain! Conjure your dragon again!" Cole called as the others continued fighting the Vermillion Warriors.
"AAHHH! I CAN'T!" Lydie screamed in terror while waving her arms.
"I've got this!" Morro called as he summoned his dragon and flew after Lydie. "Faster! Gotta go faster!" He called as he flew closer, but he saw Vermillion Warriors flying after him as he then quickly whacked them away, but once he turned around Lydie was already falling too far.
"Oh no, Morro's too far! He's not gonna make it!" Lloyd said in worry.
Lydie kept screaming as the others looked over before Rose saw something. "Look!" She called out as she pointed up and they saw a familiar mech flying in.
"The Samurai X Suit?" Kai said in surprise.
"Nya was right. The Vermillion Warriors did steal her Samurai X suit." Cole realized.
"Oh, so not fair!" Jay complained as Lydie kept screaming, but the Samurai X mech flew in and caught her as they flew back up.
"What is taking so long?" Krux questioned Machia.
"A mere setback." Machia assured as she looked through a telescope. "A good general changes her strategy to reflect the conditions on the ground. But a great one uses every weapon at hand."
The mech soon flew back up to the temple as the others were amazed about what happened. "Samurai X just saved Lydies's life." Kai gasped.
"Whoo-hoo! All right!" Jay cheered. "That was…"
"Highly illogical." Zane finished as the others looked on in wonder.
"So Samurai X is not one of them." Cole said to them. "Which means…"
"Nya must be Samurai X again." Morro said as he landed in and got off his dragon.
"For sure, she probably faked the whole stealing thing to throw us off." Jay assumed.
"What're you guys looking at?" They heard Nya ask before they were even more shocked to see her walk up to them.
"Or, perhaps not…" Rose muttered as Nya turned and saw her mech and more importantly the pilot, who was wearing the Samurai X armor.
"Hey, you! Suit thief!" Nya shouted as she rushed up to her mech. "You owe me an explanation! I have the right to know who you are! Tell me!" She demanded as Samurai X stood silent.
Jay gave a nervous laugh as he pushed his girlfriend back. "I got this. WHO. ARE. YOU?!" He asked the mech loudly as his voice echoed, but the Samurai didn't respond. "Huh? How did that not work?"
"Well, Samurai X, thank you," Lydie said gratefully.
"Thank you?!" Nya exclaimed as Samurai X then took off, "Samurai Phony, stole my suit!" She reminded them.
"Yeah, and saved my life." Lydie said before walking back to the temple.
"I get that. And we're all incredibly grateful." Nya said with a look as the others walked off. "Really. It's just…" She then paced around. "You stole my stuff!" She yelled out to the samurai.
Suddenly a spike ball struck the Samurai Armor, causing it to fall from the sky, "NNOOO!" The Ninja yelled in horror.
"Ninja!" Wu called out as they turned and saw Wu backing up from a Warrior as he held the Time Blade before the Warrior swatted it away as it was about to strike Wu as he braced himself, but saw the Warrior was stuck in a time bubble.
"Look what I found." Morro said with a smirk as he held the Slow Mo blade as Zane quickly took out the Warrior. "I'm starting to see why Acronix and Krux loved time powers." He said while looking at the Blade while not seeing some figures flying towards the temple.
Kai then went up to Wu and quickly caught him as he was about to fall, "Thank you, Kai." Wu said.
"You're welcome." Kai said ot him. "Now please, Master Wu. About the mark, can you tell me what does it mean?" He asked, still wanting to know.
"Yes, of course." Wu nodded. "Your father is-"
"Time is up!" The Hands of Time called out as the Ninja looked up and saw them in the air on gliders before taking them off and landed on the ground..
"The Hands of Time!" Lloyd said, pointing to them.
"Get 'em!" Lydie called as the Ninja charged at the Twins.
"All we need are a few moments, brother," Acronix said, holding Krux's hand.
"Indeed," Krux agreed as Acronix used the Forward Blade to time jump away from the Ninja. They appeared in front of Wu and Kai, while the others were confused before the Hands of Time synced punched the two back as they all screamed and hit the wall.
Acronix walked up to Wu as he raised the Forward Blade. "Goodbye…" He started.
"Father!" Morro called out as he tossed the Slow Mo Blade at Wu, who caught it and quickly blocked Acronix's Blade.
"Lucky old man." Acronix taunted. "But your luck is finally about to run out." He said before Wu quickly used the Slow Mo Blade on Acronix, trapping him in the time bubble as Wu quickly whacked the Forward Blade away from him as Krux quickly picked it up and put it on.
"I'm too tired to fight," Wu said as Kai held him and gave the Slow Mo Blade to him. "Restraint with this weapon. But careful Kai." He advised as Kai nodded and charged at Krux with a yell as the two then clashed weapons.
Acronix then finally got out of his time bubble as he saw his brother fighting as he saw a sword on the ground and quickly picked it up and was about to aid his brother before Lydie and Lloyd blocked him.
"Not so fast!" The Garma-Twins exclaimed.
"Well, look at this." Acronix said with a smirk. "Two children pretending to be big, brave heroes."
"Underestimating our fighting skills is a mistake." Lydie said with a glare.
"Says the girl who fell off her dragon," Acronix shot back as he then started fighting the Garma-Twins as he swung his sword around, which they barely dodged.
"Zane, Cole, Nya, Rose, Morro, Jay, look out!" Lloyd shouted as more Vermillion Warriors came in and charged at the rest of the Ninja as they all started clashing.
Kai and Krux kept clashing with Blades before Krux pushed him back. "See you soon, boy." He taunted as he was about to use the Forward Blade, but Kai quickly rushed up and intertwined the Slow Mo with the Forward Blade, canceling each other out as they gave a spark.
As the others fight against the Vermillion they regrouped together, "Zane, show these guys the door!" Morro told the Nindroid as the Vermillion Warriors.
"Understood, Ice!" Zane called as he created a river of ice, causing the Vermillion to slip and slide right off the island. Once they were gone the Ninja charged to help their friends.
Back with Misako, she continued to fight the Vermillion Warrior. The warrior laughed and tried to attack her but she jumped over its head and struck it from behind, knocking it down.
Misako gave a smirk before she swung her sword in an ark, causing it to fall apart as she smiled at her victory before she heard the sound of fighting outside. "Children, Wu… they need my help!" She said as she was about to rush out, but then remembered she was still in her underwear. "But uh, first I need clothes." She said as she rushed to her closet.
Back outside, the ninja clashed with the Hands of Time as Cole jumped up and created a shockwave that knocked everyone back. "Cole!" The Ninja called out with looks.
"Oops," Cole said sheepishly.
They stood up as the Hands of Time grabbed Lydie and tossed her around to knock everyone back as Kai rushed up to them with the Slow Mo Blade, but Krux knocked him back as Lydie jumped over Jay and landed in front of Krux. "Kai!" She called out as Kai tossed the Slow Mo Blade to her as she and Krux held blades and glared at each other.
Krux and Lydie then jumped up as their Time Blades touched each other, creating sparks as they landed and created a small shockwave that sent everyone back as their blades kept sparking up time energy.
"Yield, Daughter of Garmadon!" Krux grunted as he tried to push against Lydie's strength, "Ninjago shall be ours!"
"No! Ninja, Never, Quit!" Lydie yelled out as she spun Krux around, knocking the Forward Blade out of his hand as he crashed into Acronix and Lydie caught the Forward Blade in her hand as her team cheered, "Looks like our side won two time blades to none!" She quipped with a smirk as Krux fell to his knees while Acronix bowed his head in defeat.
"Sorry, old timers. But it's gonna be pretty hard to control Ninjago when you have absolutely none of the Time Blades or your powers." Morro said with his arms crossed. "Problem with having the strongest power, you rely on it way too much." He added with a smirk as they all cheered at their victory.
"Do not be blinded by pride, Ninja." Wu spoke up while he was leaning on the stairs. "Now is the time for the greatest vigilance." He then noticed Machia flying in on a glider, "Ninja, look out!" He called but was too late as Machia snatched both Time Blades from Lydie's hands.
"Oh no!" Jay exclaimed in worry.
"Oh yes!" Machia smirked, using the Slow-Mo on the Ninja, "As I promised! The Time Blades are yours to keep."
"Indeed. And let's also take him!" Acronix pointed to Wu as a Vermillion Airship flew in.
"Excellent work commander Machia." Krux said as a rope ladder dropped down.
"Forward. We are wasting precious time." Acronix said as the Hands of Time following with Wu climbing as well with Machia behind him with the time blades.
"Thank you for your hospitality!" Machia called out as they then took off right before Misako, now fully dressed, rushed out with her sword.
"Wu! No!" Misako yelled out as she rushed to the edge and threw her sword at Machia, who deflected with the Time Blade as she watched helplessly as it flew away. "Be strong, Wu. It isn't over." She said as the Ninja got out of their time bubble as they watched Wu being taken away.
"All that fighting… just so we could end up losing everything." Kai said hopelessly.
"Master Wu, both Time Blades…." Morro listened out in sadness.
"The Destiny's Bounty. And our temple." Cole added while looking down at the Bounty on the ground.
"They beat us. They won." Jay sadly said.
"Even Samurai X has been destroyed." Zane added as Nya rushed to the edge and saw where her old mech had crashed.
"Maybe not." Nya said in thought.
"They didn't win," Lydie told them as she had a determined expression, "We lost, because we got over confident. A wise Master once told me, 'Do not rest on your laurels, for your guard is down when you sleep'." She recited her father's wisdom. "We got to regroup. They're gonna pay." She added as she kicked the helmet from the fight away as it rolled up to Kai.
Kai picked up the helmet as he looked at the symbol. "The marking…" He muttered before he then remembered where he saw the symbol, at his and Nya old home, their parents' shop, Four Weapons as he saw the symbol on the gong as he gasped in realization. "This changes everything." He said as the group huddled together.
The Ninja had lost the battle but the war was still up for grabs, they were going to save their friend, their master and defeat the Hands of Time, no matter what.
