Prompt #40: Thanksgiving engagement

It's over the chaos of a joint family and squad Thanksgiving that it hits him. He doesn't want to waste another second of life without being officially by her side. Officially, together. Just…officially something. He's always been impulsive when it comes to Olivia.
She's laughing. The sound bounces around the room like champagne bubbles. He loves it.
He's on one knee before he can reconsider. He's not prepared—no ring or pretty speech planned out and practiced. His emotions have carried him away, and not for the first time when it came to Olivia.
"El? What are you doing?" She stammers, far more aware of the people around them than he is.
Elliot ignores the whispers. He's fairly certain Fin just exchanged cash with Ayanna but he doesn't care. "Marry me."
"What?" Olivia hisses. He knows she's completely stunned. He's taking both of them by surprise. "Elliot?"
"Marry me."
"I…"
Even with the hesitation, Elliot knows she's going to say yes. He can see it in her eyes. His hand tightens on hers, grinning up at her with a heart full of love.
"Marry me." Elliot plans on repeating himself until she says yes. He waits…as patiently as he can. "I love you. You're my partner. I want to make it official. Marry me."
"You're supposed to ask, dipshit. That wasn't a question." Fin's, as ever helpful, advice did nothing but make Olivia laugh. "Even if we all know what the answer's gonna be."
"Liv?" Elliot draws her attention back to him. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes." Olivia smiles even wider before nodding. She tugs on his hand, pulling him up off the ground. They both laugh when his knee clicks. "Maybe I should hold out for a younger model."
"Too late. You said yes." Elliot lifts her off her feet, swinging her around. "There's a strict no return policy."
"That's okay." Olivia leans up for a kiss. The first of many. "I knew what I was getting myself into when I fell in love with you."
"Hear that Fin? She said yes."
"Yeah, yeah, I'll buy you a drink with all the cash I'm getting from the betting pool."
