Episode 1:

East Meets East Part 1

Somewhere in China

An old man was meditating in his chamber, in front of him was an ancient mirror. He looked deeply at it seeing it ripple like it was water, soon a face of a dragon appeared from the mirror looking like it was trying to escape before disappearing again. He knew what it was, it had returned.

A robed figure came into the room with the hood covering their face. "Master Chung I! You haven't slept or eaten in days." a female voice broke the chamber's silence. "Why won't speak to me, do you hate me?" she asked as she moved closer to him.

He looked at her. "H-hate you? No." he shook his head "Mei Pieh Chi you are my daughter I would never do such a thing, but I need to do this alone, it's very important. Though I would like some tea if you wouldn't mind." she nodded before leaving the room.

He then looked back at the mirror seeing it again rippling and then heard an evil laugh coming from it.

"I fear the most ancient evil has awakened."

New York

"Listen to me, Raph!" Leonardo said to his brother trying to stop him from leaving. He always had issues with him but after their 18th birthday, it got worse. He started to become more distant. And this night he said he will leave this place for good, only Leo took it more seriously while Mikey thought he was just joking and Donnie was busy.

"Get out of my face Leo!" Raphael shouted at Leo.

"Wrong dude, am not getting out of your face! You are way too reckless and totally irresponsible. YOU WILL BE PUTTING YOURSELF AT RISK!".

"Kiss my shell!" Raph cursed at Leo making him stop in his tracks while he continued walking.

"Can't you at least wait for master Splinter to come on, to say goodbye to him?" Leo asked, with less malice in his voice.

Raph stopped for a moment, almost looking like he had a second thoughts about it before starting to walk again.

"FINE LEAVE!" Leo shouted as he left.

"Ninja Geek." Raph murmured to himself as he entered the garage.

He hopped on his motorbike and drove off as fast as he could, passing through some late-night drivers before ending up in one of the abandoned areas of the city. Suddenly a shuriken hit his bike's headlight stopping. He stopped his bike in it's tracks as a group of foot ninjas popped out of the shadows blocking his path. He looked behind him to see some more ninjas appearing as well.

"Alright, if you guys wanna play, follow me!" he drove right into a locked gate and the ninjas followed him to a dead end where another shuriken was thrown this time at the bike's back tire. Raph jumped off before it crashed into boxes, he turned around to see dozens of ninjas cornering him.

There was a small silence before Raph cracked his knuckles and took out his twin sais, ready to fight.

Central park

Splinter was playing chess with his friend Andre in Central park. Andre was an old black man with a cap covering his short grey hair, he also wore sunglasses since he was blind, which made Splinter interacting with him much easier since he didn't know that he was talking to a giant mutant rat.

Splinter moved one of the chess pieces. "Queen's Bishop pawn to Bishop three."

Andre chuckled "Mercy! How do you know I want your shabby old rook?"

"How many times have we played chess over these last two years?"

"Oh, a couple of hundred." he answered.

"You want my rook."

"And I'll get it too."

They both laughed before Splinter sensed something, a vision of Raph fighting the foot clan alone. "I must go, theirs's something important for me to do!" he got up from his chair.

"Am guessing it's with your sons again?"

"Yes."

The blind man sighed "Well take care man."

"You too Andre, thank you for the game." Splinter bowed his head put his Kasa on and disappeared into the night.

Turtles' lair

"What are you exactly trying to do Leo?" Michelangelo asked his brother who was watching him carrying a cement brick.

"Am trying to do an exercise in a mental and physical discipline." Leo explained.

"So this exercise includes you smashing your head into at least five cement blocks?"

"Yup."

"Okay..." Mikey walked around him as Leo put the final block "...is this about Raph leaving?"

"What else would it be?" Leo smashed his head against them cracking all five.

"WOW! Did you see that Donnie? Leo didn't turn his head into green mush!"

Donnie didn't pay attention, he was more focused on his computer trying to hack into a satellite without being detected by the government. "Alright, am satellite positive! Now where did go, Raph?".

"Who cares, he made up his decision." Leo said in frustration as he cleaned his forehead from the dust only having small bruise from his 'exercise'.

"Well, Leo..." Donnie protested as he looked at him "...you may no longer care about Raph, but I do."

"Yeah me too, kind of!" Mikey proclaimed while Leo just scoffed.

Donnie heard a beep from his computer "Ah, found it!" he said as the monitor pinpointed the location. "It's about a few miles from here, good thing I added that tracker on his bike. And it's not moving which means Raph is either resting or might be in danger."

"Alright its Ninja time!" Mikey said in excitement as he started running to the garage as Donnie joined with him leaving Leo alone.

He contemplated, Ralph was always on his nerves but he was his brother and you never let go of your family. "Hey guys wait up!".

Raph was still fighting the foot clan, no matter how many ninja thugs he took down they were still coming, he was getting tired and almost stabbed from behind but he dodged it stabbing the attacker in the throat. But it was for nothing since he got knocked out by another one anyway.

Before he could be finished off, Splinter's hat flew in knocking out 3 of the ninjas. "Are you alright, my son?" he asked the half-unconscious Ralph while helping him to get up.

"Yeah I'm fine, but I don't need anyone's help, especially yours!"

"You're in no way in the position of saying this Raphael."

They both looked at the rest of the foot soldiers who looked more terrified than ever, but before they started fighting again the turtle mobile rolled in, almost driving over some of them.

"Foot soldiers retreat!" one of the ninjas said as they run away from the modified van.

"Ah they're leaving so soon, we just got here?" Mikey said jumping out of the van's backdoors and on to it's roof. "Oh hey Raph!"

"Now you see why I wanted to leave?!" the turtle with the red mask said to his father. Donnie ran up to the injured turtle to see how badly he was hurt, only grunting that he was fine. "I can deal with it myself!"

"Well you're not that banged up but your bike on the other hand." Donnie points at the broken motorcycle. Raph cursed as he went to picking it up to it's wheels.

"Couldn't stay out of trouble huh?" Leo asked getting out of the car as well.

"Oh shut up!" Raph responded in anger.

"ENOUGH!" the loud voice of splinter caught all of them off guard "You are all 18 years of age, I know it's supposed to be the time where you all should fly out of the nest as they say but it's not that simple, the Shredder is still our blood enemy, it's foolish to leave us Raphael.".

"I refuse to cower in the sewers forever!"

"I know, but there is no other way. Now let us go home my sons." Splinter said as he got in the van.

Mikey interrupted "But before we go home, let's get some pizza-"

"GROW UP!" all 3 of his brothers shouted in unison.

Later at foot clan's base

"ALL of you were defeated by one of those blasted turtles?!" Shredder asked his troops.

"Well he wasn't alone, their was also the giant rat-" one of the unmasked foot soldiers tried explain but the Foot leader had enough of his excuses.

"THE RAT?!" he grabbed him by the throat almost lifting him closer to his metal covered face "You and all the rest of these pathetic fools that I have trained have failed time and time again." his grasp got more tighter.

"Am sorry master!" he quivered, feeling his life being chocked out.

Shredder threw his subordinate to the ground. "This will be your final chance to prove yourselves, find where these freaks live and DESTROY THEM!"

Splinter was in his room meditating in a deep trance, soon enough his mind was teleported into a new realm. His eyes opened to a world of vibrant colors and giant floating rocks, this was called the realm of spirits and dreams. Soon an another person appeared in front him and he recognized him immediately. "Hello Chung I." he greeted him

"This isn't the time for mediation master Splinter you have to leave now." his friend ordered him.

"Why?" he was confused by the Chinese master's statement

"This realm is becoming too unstable."

"Unstable? What do you mean un-" the platforms in the distance burst into flames.

"GO NOW, DRAGONS ARE COMING!" Chung I started to disappear so did Splinter as he woke up to the real world.

He was confused by his statement "The realm was supposed to be safe, what's going on there?".

The mirror was rippling even more then before, it began glowing green and a strong wind was blowing against master Chung.

Mei ran back into his room confused by the noises "Master, what is happened?" she sounded scared.

"As my apprentice, the time has come for you to understand this mirror." he said as the object mentioned became more docile again and then he continued "Thousands of years ago, before recorded history, the world was ravaged by the dragons, my ascendants imprisoned them here.".

"In this enchanted glass?" she asked.

"Yes, and it was made in a way that even if this was destroyed they would not escape as it was a permanent prison." as he said it the mirror began rippling once more. "But something has gone wrong, the dragons have found a way into the universal realm of sprits and dreams."

"What do they want?" she asked again.

He looked at her "To take back the world."

Mikey was waiting for his pizza under the sewer drain not knowing he was being watched by two foot soldiers, he was far too busy reading a manga that Splinter gifted him few years back.

"Uh, okay where is it?" The pizza boy asked himself confused by his delivery soon sensing some Deja vu here. "Not here again!"

"Down here dude!" Mikey's voice came from below the drain.

He looked down at the opened sewer drain "Really, again? Do you actually live in there?" he asked.

"Do you want those 15 bucks or what?"

The boy sighed and the did exchange and got the 15 dollars. "At least I was right on time for once." he said to himself as he walked away.

Mikey jumped on his skateboard and rode back to his home, the other ninjas had to move quickly as not to lost sight of the orange bandana wearing turtle. Soon they saw him going into an old entrance to a abandoned train station.

"Inform the other search parties in the sewers that we have found their lair." One of the foot soldiers said to the other.

Each of the turtles took their slices "Hey dad you want one?" Mikey handed Splinter one of the slices.

"I don't want it." he declined.

"Oh come on, it's the 99 cheese pizza, your favorite." his son insisted.

"No thanks my son, I have other important things to do." he went back to his courters.

"Oh well, more for me!" Mikey took a bite of the slice.

The ninjutsu master started again to meditate, so he could enter the realm of spirits and dreams again, he knew his old friend told not to return but he had to know. He soon was back in the realm, it was more gloomier then before, the bright blue skies were now covered by black clouds with some lightning flashing in the distance. "What is going on here?"

"Welcome, master rat." an evil booming voice echoed from all directions.

Splinter looked around "WHO ARE YOU? This place is only for the enlightened." he soon felt his body wrapped by flames, he tried to free himself but couldn't.

"I'm afraid that this is my realm now!"

The mutant rodent only could do was scream in pain.

The mirror was rippling like crazy, the Chinese master could hear Splinter in agony. "Dragons! I am Chung I, master of the mystic arts, demand you to release the Ninjutsu master!" he commanded them but it was for no avail as a face of a dragon popped out of the mirror.

"Your services are no longer require, magician. We will use the rat instead." the voice in the mirror said.

"No!"

"Oh Yes!"

The mirror explodes making Chung fall to the ground getting injured by the flying shrapnel in the process. He barely lifted his head to look at the destroyed mirror. "There will be another to defeat you." he fainted after saying it.

Mikey, Leo and Raph were all sitting on the coach watching tv. Leo and Raph didn't talk to each other after the rescue.

"I didn't need your help you know." said Raph, with a hint of frustration.

"Argh, this again?" Leo looked at his brother with an angry expression.

Mikey just put on some ear muffs to quite the fiery debate his brothers were about to commence.

Donnie on the other hand was just minding his own business on the computer, he had built a security system that would detect if someone other then them would be in their area. Though it had been some issues with it, it kept on failing, guess these sensors were no match for the wet and moist sewers. Luckily he had found a solution and it had been installed now. "Uh strange." he looked closer to his screen, there were many dots coming to their way. "Either those are rats or..." he then he realized what they were "GUYS! THE FOOT HAS FOUND US!"

"Uh?" All three of them looked at him in confusion, before an army of Shredder's minions burst into their lair. They quickly grabbed their weapons and began to fight off the intruders.

The Foot soldiers kept coming and coming, until their was over 30 of them. After 3 years of fighting them the turtles have gotten use to fight them in groups. But this was different, they were fighting in their own home. This made Leo conflicted as he was clashing with a fellow Ninjatō wielder, their father had teach them skills of basically assassins and yet they have rarely use them to kill their opponents. Sometimes they showed no mercy, when they first fought the Purple Dragons, but most of the time they would roughen up their enemies. But this was one of the occasions he thought to himself where they couldn't let them live, quickly slashing his opponent with his twin swords.

"Alright brothers, we have to kill all of them, the Shredder cannot find out about this place, if he already has!" he commend his fellow turtles.

"Already ahead of ya!" Raph responded retrieving his blood covered sai from a foot ninja's corpse.

Now they were no longer fighting defensive, but offensive.

The foot stood no chance against them, as they were slaughtered, with few of them left they started retreating, only to be stopped by a tag team of Leo and Raph.

"You ain't going anywhere punks!" Raph said with a killer smirk.

"We have slaughtered your comrades, but I will give you a chance to walk away, and abandon Shredder as you master!"

The Foot ninjas stand their ground "Ninjas die with honor!"

Raph looked at his brother "Well, worth a shot!" he said with a grain of sarcasm as they continued their fight with the Foot soldiers.

Meanwhile, Mikey and Donnie were finishing off their opponents as well. Mikey then spotted the door to Splinter's room wide open, he immediately ran into, seeing a foot ninja readying his sword to strike at unconscious Splinter.

"MASTER!" he shouted as lounged at the fiend, dropkicking him the ground, knocking him out.

He sighed as he focused on his rodent father. "Hey master Splinter, are you okay?". His sensei didn't respond. "Master, wake up!" he looked away as he could see his brothers recovering after their battle. "Hey guys, somethings wrong with Splinter!"

...

Mei ran into her master's chamber after hearing a loud shattering sound. To her horror, she saw her father dying on the floor, his body riddled with glass shards.

"FATHER!" she cried out and quickly running up to Chung I. She lowered herself and started to removing the shards out of his body and began to heal the wounds. "Why aren't you healing?!" tears were swelling up in her eyes, then Chung I's hand caresses his daughter.

"It is too late, my daughter..." he could barely speak. "Before I go to the other side, I need you hear this."

"What is it?"

"Remember the story I told you when I found you in America 18 years ago." he had a small smile on his face.

"Yes!"

He started drifting off. "Am sorry, am losing focus, everything is going dark. I can barely see you Mei, can I see your face."

"Of course." she lifted her hood, raveling her head. She wasn't your average girl, her skin was green, and her face resembled more of a turtle than a human.

His smile grew sharper "You always were saddened they you were the only one of your kind..." he took a deep breath and sharp gasp. "...but you are not alone."

Her eyes grew in surprise "What! why didn't you tell me before?" she asked.

"I just found out only few months ago, I wanted to be surprise for your 18th birthday... but I don't have much time now, you have four brothers, they live in New York. I taught you well enough to locate certain person's chi, their master, Splinter, has the strongest. You can use the fast traveler boat to go there."

Her tears stopped as she clenched his hand. "Thank you, father, I will go to America!"

He smiled for the last time "Farewell, my daughter." he closed his eyes and took his last breath.

She rose up as lighting struck outside with a omniums thunder following it.

To be continued...
