In a secret room in Odd World, we see a teenage girl with pale skin, red eyes, short black hair, a red bow on her head, glasses, black eyeshadow, red lipstick, a black dress with a white collar, a white ribbon tied in a bow on the center, black translucent leggings and black boots on her iPad watching Haunted Mansion on Disney. Her name is Valentina, the daughter of a certain scientist who created the Rainbow Friends.
"Hmmm, I wonder," said Valentina.
Later, she is seen in her father's laboratory, looking at a giant portal.
"Maybe if I bring the ghosts from the Haunted Mansion, they'll help me get back at my dad for his wrongdoings by scaring him," Valentine said to herself. "Maybe they'll teach him a lesson which he will never forget. This will teach him not to get away with his crimes."
Then, she types in "Gracey Manor" on the keyboard and the words appear on what appears to be a computer screen. Then, the portal glowed an ominous blue as Valentina looked.
"There it is, Gracey Manor, the Haunted Mansion," said Valentina. "I never thought I'd actually be in New Orleans. I heard it's lovely this time of year in Louisiana."
Suddenly, she hears a loud alarm, much to her confusion.
"What could be making all that-?" Valentina begins to ask until she realizes something and says, "On no."
She stared at a path marked by an orange, glowing, jagged line all the way through the portal. When she saw where the line was coming from, she saw the shadow of a scrawny little Baryonyx-like monster in the halls and realized that something...or someone was coming.
"Orange?!" Valentina cried.
Without warning, a short, scrawny monster, resembling a Baryonyx appeared, running. The small creature has a reptile appearance with bright orange skin, a crocodile-like head, bulging eyes and rows of sharp teeth. His vertical pupils will sometimes look in opposite directions. He is also upright, balancing on two spindly legs with his three-clawed hands reaching forwards. His twig-like body ends with a stubby tail. His name is Orange, the smallest of the Rainbow Friends and by the looks of it, someone forgot to feed him...again.
Suddenly, Orange followed the line as he kept running. Little did he know he was actually coming towards the portal.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Valentina cried, trying to block Orange from entering the portal.
But it was too late. Orange jumped into the air and knocked Valentina, sending them both to the portal as their screams were heard. A pair of eyes in the vent saw the whole thing.
"This can't be good," said a voice in the vents. "I better tell the others about this."
Meanwhile, in a Graveyard in Gracey Manor, the portal opens and a familiar duo comes out through the portal and land in each hole. Unfortunately, what they didn't realize is that they had landed in each coffin inside each hole. The coffin Valentina landed in is black with red accents while the other coffin is orange, which matches Orange's color. Then, the coffins close and two graves appear, one of them saying "Rest in peace, daughter of Red. Young Valentina now joins the dead." and the other one saying "Here lies the Orange Rainbow Friend. His hunger had led to his end. R.I.P.".
Suddenly, two ghostly figures appear. It was Valentina and Orange, or their ghosts I mean. Valentina now has light aqua skin, dark turquoise hair, turquoise eyeshadow, a dress consisting of a black top, a white collar, aqua blue puffed sleeved and an aqua blue skirt with white frills, black shirtless sleeves with aqua blue accents and white cuffs, an aqua blue bow on the collar, aqua blue fingerless gloves, a white apron, white leggings, long white socks with aqua blue stripes and white frills, black Mary Janes with aqua blue straps, an aqua blue beret with a black bow on it and a white glow as her eyes remain red.
Orange is basically the same, except with aqua blue skin, an orange coat, a vermilion vest, a white dress shirt, a golden ascot, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a white glow.
"Ugh, what happened?" Orange asked.
"Orange, look what you've done! You pushed me and sent us straight into Gracey Manor! What do you have to say for yourself?" Valentina asked, glaring.
"Gracey Manor?" Orange asked. "It looks like one of those fake haunted houses to me."
"Orange, it is a haunted house!" exclaimed Val. "It ain't called the Haunted Mansion for nothing!"
"Well, how was I supposed to know?" asked Orange. "I was so hungry, that I started running around and-"
Suddenly, he noticed his tombstone and gasped. Then, he looked at himself in horror and screamed bloody murder.
"I'M DEAD!" screamed Orange. "Is this because I haven't eaten?!"
"Orange, what are you talking about?" Valentina asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Look at my tombstone, Val! I'm dead!" cried Orange, pointing at his grave.
"What?!" Valentina shouts as she floats towards Orange's grave and reacts in shock. "Oh my god! You're dead?!"
"I'm not the only one dead! Have you even seen your tombstone?!" Orange asked, pointing at Valentina's tombstone, much to her horror.
"Oh no! How am I supposed to get the ghosts from Gracey Manor to Odd World to teach my dad a lesson?!" cried Valentina.
"Wait, why do you need ghosts?" Orange asked.
"In case you didn't know, Orange, Gracey Manor a.k.a. The Haunted Mansion is home to 999 Happy Haunts, as in ghosts," said Valentina. "But from what I heard, there's always room for 1000."
"So, this place has 999 of these grim grinning ghosts?" Orange asked.
"Yes. Yes, there is," Valentina said, dryly. "Now, let me tell you about the history of Gracey Manor and Master Gracey himself."
Back at the laboratory, familiar figures arrive at the portal that sent Valentina and Orange to another place. The first one is a large, heavy royal blue monster with a yellow crown on his head and pale blue drool hanging from his mouth. His arms are long and bulky when compared to his short legs. He has a large eye on the right side of his face while the eye on his left has seemingly been replaced with a white button. He's Blue, the leader of the Rainbow Friends.
The second one is a tall, lanky green monster with plastic googly googly eyes, which hint his blindness, and jagged teeth. His body is mostly cylindrical. He stands upright, sporting extremely long, flexible arms. He has three fingers on each hand and two short legs. His jaws can hinge open incredibly wide, revealing a long red tongue. He's Green, the tallest of the Rainbow Friends.
The third one is a purple monster with a slender body with four long limbs with hand-like appendages with his arms being stretchable and a flat face with big cartoony eyes that conceals his mouth, which contains jagged teeth. He's Purple, the only Rainbow Friend who can hide in the vents.
The fourth one is a yellow anthropomorphic monster strongly reminiscent of a pterosaur. His wedge-shaped head fans into a three-pointed crest on the back, tapering to a sharp point at its front. His round eyes rest on either side of his face. Despite his mouth's beaklike appearance, He has sharp, white teeth. His wing-like arms each end with two claws, mirroring the upturned talons on his feet. His small tail slightly curves upwards as well. He also wears a brown, blocky vest over his torso with rows of darker rectangles resembling buckles or straps line its front and it has a large metal propeller with three angled blades extending from the back, elevated by a bar. He's Yellow, the only Rainbow Friend who can fly.
The last one is a vibrant cyan-colored bipedal monster that strongly resembles a theropod dinosaur with her stance being balanced by a long, thick tail. She doesn't have any forelimbs. Cyan's jaws have the distinct form of a bear trap, sporting a unique crescent shape and large, interlocking teeth. Two eyes with vertical pupils are seated at the front of her face. She's Cyan, one of the female Rainbow Friends.
"That's where I last saw Valentina and Orange, guys," said Purple, indicating that he was in the vents when it happened. "They ended up through that portal to another location."
"So, you're saying that Valentina and Orange are somewhere else?" Yellow asked, concerned.
"I bet it's another one of Red's sick, twisted plans," said Cyan, suspicious.
"I doubt it. I heard Valentina saying something about bringing ghosts to Odd World," replied Purple.
"Ghosts? Where?" Green asked, nervous. Too bad he can't see.
"Why would Valentina need ghosts?" Blue asked.
"Isn't it obvious? To punish Red for everything he did to us," Purple replied. "She's doing this for us."
"If Val is doing it for us, where is she then?" asked Cyan.
"Well, from what I've seen, she and Orange ended up at Gracey Manor," replied Purple.
"Gracey Manor?" the other Rainbow Friends asked.
"Yeah, also known as the Haunted Mansion, which, in retrospect, I haven't really heard of," replied Purple. "But she did say it's in New Orleans though."
"Okay, let me type in the words! I'm great at keyboards!" exclaimed Green. "Um, how do you spell "Gracey Manor"?"
This made the other Rainbow Friends so shocked that they did a face fault.
"Was it something I said?" asked Green.
Then, Blue got up, went towards the keyboard, typed in "Gracey Manor" and activated the portal. Purple, Yellow and Cyan got up as they watched. Green is still looking around, but Purple managed to turn Green's head to the direction of the portal.
"Come on, guys, let's go get Valentina and Orange back," said Blue. "I have a feeling that Red might use that to his advantage."
Then, the five Rainbow Friends went through the portal to look for Valentina and Orange.
At the Graveyard, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan came out of the portal unharmed and looked around.
"Valentina?" Cyan called out.
"Orange?" Yellow also called out.
"Where are you?" Green asked.
"This is pretty freaky," Purple said.
He is staring at a tombstone that says, "Master Gracey laid to rest. No mourning please, at his request. Farewell".
"Maybe we should go inside to see if they're in there," Blue suggested.
Then, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan walked towards Gracey Manor. Little did they know they had just passed Valentina and Orange with the former finished explaining to the latter about the history of Gracey Manor.
"And that's pretty much all there is to know about Gracey Manor," said Valentina.
"That's what this history lesson is about?" Orange asked, surprised. "Forget this. Let's go inside and see what all this ghost nonsense is about."
We see Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan entering the elegant-but-spartan foyer as a distant pipe organ plays a dirge-like version of Grim Grinning Ghosts. Wall-mounted candles and a cobweb-covered chandelier light the room, where two pairs of double-doors await. A mirror is at the entrance.
"Wow, this place is amazing," said Purple. "Why didn't we think about moving here before?"
"You're right, it looks so wonderful," said Yellow.
"Guys, we're not here to look around, we're here to find our friends," Cyan reminded the others.
Suddenly, she gets distracted and says, "Actually, you know what? It is kind of beautiful."
Little did Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan know that Valentina and Orange had phased through the walls, only to see the other Rainbow Friends. Lucky for Valentina and Orange, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan didn't seem to notice the two.
"The other Rainbow Friends?" asked Valentina.
"What are they doing here?" asked Orange.
Suddenly, they all hear a voice.
"When hinges creak in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still — that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight!"
Suddenly, a door opens, prompting the five Rainbow Friends to go in. Valentina and Orange follow the others without being noticed. As Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan went through the door, Valentina and Orange phased through the walls. That is when they have all heard the voice.
"Welcome, foolish mortals, to the Haunted Mansion," said the voice. "I am your host, your ghost host. Our tour begins here in this gallery. Here, where you see paintings of some of our guests as they appeared in their corruptible, mortal state. Kindly step all the way in please, and make room for everyone. There's no turning back now."
The Rainbow Friends then stare at the portraits of a bearded gentleman holding a document, an old woman holding a rose, a pretty young lady holding a parasol and a man in a bowler hat. Valentina notices something familiar about this room.
"Hey, look at that lady with a parasol," said Blue.
Suddenly, the door through which Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan enter slides closed and the room stretches upwards as the paintings on the walls elongating with it to reveal a comically gruesome end for each subject; the bearded gentleman is revealed to be wearing only his undergarments from the waist down and standing atop a lit keg of dynamite, the old woman is revealed to be sitting atop a tall gravestone, at the bottom of which is a stone bust of her husband with a hatchet embedded in his head, with the epitaph reading, "Rest in Peace, My Dear Beloved George", the pretty young lady is revealed to be balancing on a fraying tightrope above the gaping jaws of an alligator and the man is revealed to be sitting on the shoulders of another man who sits on the shoulders of a third man who is waist deep in quicksand.
Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan are shocked to see it happen. Orange is shocked as well as Valentina realizes what the room is.
"Orange, I think I know this room! It's the Stretching Room!" Valentina whispered to Orange.
"Why are we whispering?" Orange asked with a whisper.
"So that the other Rainbow Friends won't hear us," said Valentina.
"Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis," said the Ghost Host. "Is this haunted room actually stretching? Or is it your imagination — hmm?"
"I can't see, but I feel scared," said Green, nervous.
"And consider this dismaying observation," said the Ghost Host, making Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow, Cyan and the ghostly Orange frightened and Valentina concerned. "This chamber has no windows and no doors… which offers you this chilling challenge: to find a way out!"
Then, the Ghost Host laughed maniacally, making the five and Orange more frightened as Orange held onto Valentina.
"Of course, there's always my way," said the Ghost Host.
"Orange, if I were you, I wouldn't look at the ceiling," Valentina whispered to Orange.
"Why?" Orange asked, whispering.
Then, Valentina whispers to Orange, making his eyes widen. All of a sudden, the lights go out and lightning flashes above. The ceiling vanishes and gives a view of the mansion's cupola, where a skeletal corpse sways from a noose tied to the rafters, much to the Rainbow Friends' horror, causing the five to scream. Orange looked as well and tried to scream, but Valentina covered his mouth to prevent it from happening. After a few seconds, the room becomes pitch black and a dreadful scream is heard, much to everyone's horror. Then, the sound of bones shattering was heard.
"Is it over yet?" Yellow asked, fearfully.
When the lights come back up, the ceiling has returned to normal. Another panel slides open, much to everyone's confusion.
"Oh, I didn't mean to frighten you prematurely," said the Ghost Host. "The real chills come later. Now, as they say, "look alive" and we'll continue our little tour. And let's all stay together, please."
Then, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan exit into the Portrait Corridor as Valentina and Orange follow. The five then step into a dimly lit corridor occasionally illuminated by flashing lightning. On the left-hand wall are windows looking out onto a storm-tossed night, complete with rolling clouds and rain.
"Phew, I'm glad we weren't outside," said Cyan.
Suddenly, they look at a set of portraits hanging on the wall to the right; whenever the lightning flashes, these paintings flicker briefly into grotesque and macabre images. The April-December portrait has a young lady (April) who morphs into a decrepit old woman (December), the Flying Dutchman portrait has a clipper ship, which becomes a ghost ship with tattered sails on a stormy sea, the Medusa portrait morphs from a young woman into a stony Gorgon, the Black Prince portrait has a knight on horseback where both horse and rider morph into glowing skeletons, the Werecat Lady portrait has a beautiful woman reclining on a sofa, transforming into a white tiger and the Aging Man portrait has a handsome nobleman (Master Gracey) who flashes into a skeleton in a rotting suit.
"Did you see that? Those portraits just changed!" exclaimed Purple.
"Don't tell me. Changing portraits?" Orange asked Valentina with a whisper.
As Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan keep going, brass bat stanchions flank to the length of the corridor. At the far end, a pair of busts in alcoves seem to turn to follow the group's movements as they make a turn to the right.
"Maybe we should split up and look for Valentina and Orange. They've gotta be around here somewhere," said Blue.
With that, Blue, Green, Purple, Yellow and Cyan left as Valentina and Orange watched.
"Hey, Val, I got an idea. Instead of having the original Happy Haunts, how about we make some Grim Grinning Ghosts out of our pals, the Rainbow Friends," Orange suggested mischievously.
"Wait, what?!" Valentina cried, shocked. "Orange, don't you dare!"
But Orange didn't listen and flew off. Valentina groans and follows Orange.
At the Endless Hallway, Blue was walking by himself.
"Val? Orange? Are you guys there?" Blue called out.
Then, he noticed a lone candelabra floating in midair halfway down it.
"It's only a floating candelabra. There's nothing scary about a floating candelabra," Blue said to himself.
Little did he know that Orange had appeared behind Blue.
"Bluuuuuuuue..." Orange said in a ghostly voice, making Blue spooked.
When Blue turned around, he saw the ghostly Orange floating behind him.
"BOO!" shouted Orange.
Blue screamed in horror and ran to the Endless Staircase, running up the stairs. Blue kept running and screaming until he stopped to notice something.
"Wait a minute! Something isn't right here!" Blue exclaims.
Suddenly, he realized that he was upside down, causing him to fall off the upside down stairs, screaming. Suddenly, Valentina appears in an attempt to save Blue.
"Don't worry, Blue! I've got you!" cried Valentina.
But it was too late as Blue fell past her, much to her dismay.
"Nevermind," said Valentina.
Suddenly, a loud thud was heard, followed by the sounds of a spine breaking and neck snapping, indicating that Blue did not survive. Then, Orange floats towards Valentina.
"Hey, Val, did you find Blue yet?" Orange asked.
"Perhaps over there," said Valentina, pointing downwards.
Then, Blue's spirit floats up with aqua blue skin, a blue coat, a dark blue vest, a white dress shirt, a light blue ascot, an Alice blue sash, light blue epaulets with Alice blue tassels, an Alice blue version of his crown, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a white glow. Then, Blue notices Valentina and Orange staring at him.
"Val? Orange? What happened?" Blue asked.
"Orange scared you and you somehow ended up falling to your death," replied Valentina.
"What?!" Blue yelled, glaring at Orange.
"It's not my fault you died!" cried Orange. "Look, I've been thinking. Why don't we turn the other Rainbow Friends into ghosts?"
"Just like you turned me into a ghost?" Blue asked, still glaring.
"Blame Valentina. She's the reason why she and I became ghosts in the first place," said Orange.
"At least I didn't suggest turning the Rainbow Friends into ghosts," said Valentina.
"She has a point, Orange," Blue added.
"Okay, okay, I get it," said Orange. "But think about it. Haven't you always wanted to get back at Red for all the things he's done to us?"
"Hmmm, now that you think about it, I guess it seems kind of interesting," said Blue.
"Blue!" cried Valentina.
"And Val, when's the last time you taught your father a lesson?" asked Orange.
"Touché," said Valentina.
"Then it's settled. Let's turn the other Rainbow Friends into ghosts!" exclaimed Orange.
We see Yellow in the Converservatory, which is alcove-like with the space choked with decaying and overgrown plants and vegetation. Outside the huge glass walls is a misty landscape, with only the gnarled limbs of leafless trees visible in the gloom.
"Wow, this place is strange," said Yellow.
Suddenly, he heard a cawing sound. When he turned around, he spotted a raven perched on top of a stand with a withered funeral wreath.
"What's a raven doing in here?" Yellow asked himself.
Suddenly, he saw something that made him jump. In the center of the chamber is a coffin whose occupant is trying to get out - skeletal hands attempt to push the lid open, which based on the nails sticking through the wood was meant to stay sealed.
"Let me out, let me out of here!" cried the coffin occupant.
"Is that guy...still alive?" Yellow asked, nervously.
Suddenly, he heard the swoosh of a hatchet and the sound of chopping. When he turned around, he noticed that the bar holding the propeller had been chopped off.
"My vest!" cried Yellow, horrified. "How am I gonna fly now?"
"I may have a small suggestion," said Blue's voice.
When he turned around, he saw the ghostly Blue floating in midair, raising a hatchet at Yellow, preparing to kill him. Suddenly, Yellow screamed bloody murder and felt his heart stop, causing him to fall down, dead, much to Blue's shock as he dropped the hatchet.
"Uh-oh," said Blue.
Then, Yellow came out of his lifeless body with aqua blue skin, a yellow vest, a white collar, a white scarf, a brown pilot's hat with goggles, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a white glow.
"Huh? Blue, what happened?!" Yellow asked.
"Surprise!" Orange exclaimed as he and Valentina appeared. "We've decided to turn the other Rainbow Friends into ghosts! Valentina wanted to find the Happy Haunts to teach Red a lesson, I suggested the idea of making you ghosts just to get revenge on Red and I guess Blue sort of killed you."
"Oh, thanks a lot, jerks," Yellow said, glaring.
"Better that than one of Red's plans," said Blue. "Are you gonna help us make Red pay after what he's done to us?"
"Well, I suppose I can help out, considering that we're gonna get back at Red," said Yellow. "I'll be right back. There's someone I gotta give a ride to, especially since I can fly without propellers now."
Then, he flies off to find someone. That's when a scream was heard off-screen. Then, Yellow comes back from the direction he went through and zips past Valentina, Blue and Orange, carrying a screaming Purple.
"Yellow, what is wrong with you?! Put me down!" cried Purple.
"What's the matter, Purple? I thought you liked wild rides!" exclaimed Yellow.
"Someone, help me!" screamed Purple.
Without warning, Yellow phased through a wall, causing Purple to hit the wall face first. Then, he fell to the ground.
"Ow, that really hurt," said Purple. "But at least it can't get any worse than this."
Suddenly, an axe that one of the suits of armor was carrying fell on Purple's back, killing him instantly. Yellow appeared through the wall and looked at Purple's dead body.
"Purple, are you okay?" asked Yellow.
Then, Purple's ghost floats out of his body with aqua blue skin, a purple coat, a purple capelet, a dark purple vest, a white dress shirt, a dark purple bowtie, a purple top hat with a dark purple band around it, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a white glow.
"Aw man, I knew I should've stayed in the vents," said Purple.
Then, Valentina, Blue and Orange materialized. Purple noticed Valentina, Blue, Orange and Yellow and screamed.
"Why didn't you tell me you guys were ghosts?" Purple asked.
"We can explain everything," said Blue.
We see Cyan walking down the Corridor of Doors. It is an ominous corridor, a series of doors on either side. Growls, screams, maniacal laughter and pleading voices emanate from behind them, as if something is trying to get out. Doors bend, as if they are breathing, knockers clack and rattle, and the walls are adorned with some "family portraits" of corpses.
"Man, this place is even creepier than Odd World," said Cyan.
Little did she know Valentina, Blue, Orange, Purple and Yellow materialized, spying on Cyan.
"So, all we gotta do is turn Cyan and Green into ghosts and then, we can get back at Red after what he did to us?" asked Purple.
"Most likely," said Valentina.
"Hmmm, I wonder," Purple begins as he floats off and phases through one of the doors.
Meanwhile, Cyan stares at a grandfather clock, with its arms spinning wildly backwards and the clock striking 13. A shadow of a clawed hand passes over the face of the clock.
"What kind of a clock has a 13 instead of a 12?" asked Cyan.
Without warning, one of the doors opened and a familiar pair of ghostly arms came out and snatched Cyan, dragging her into an empty room. Then, the door closes.
"Huh? Where am I?" Cyan asked.
"Good question," said Purple's voice, off-screen.
Cyan turns around to see Purple holding a candle stick. Then, she noticed that the room was filled with dynamite, much to her shock.
"Oops," Purple said, dropping the candle.
"PURPLE, NO!" Cyan screamed.
Suddenly, the dynamite exploded, covering the room with soot and ashes. That is when Valentina, Blue, Orange and Yellow appeared. They notice that Purple is unharmed due to being a ghost, but Cyan didn't survive as her soot-covered body turned into dark cyan ashes with her eyes on top. Then, Cyan's spirit rose from her ashes, glaring at the group. She is now aqua blue-colored with a light cyan sleeveless dress with cyan accents on the skirt with white frills and a white collar on the top, a cyan bow on the collar, a cyan ribbon at the waist tied in a bow, a light cyan bonnet with a cyan ribbon on it, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a white glow.
"Nice of you to have a blast, Cyan," joked Orange as he laughed.
"That's not funny! I just died!" yelled Cyan.
"Nevermind that. We have one more Rainbow Friend who'll be dying to meet us," said Valentina.
"Wait, are you implying Green?" Cyan asked. "And what do you mean by dying?"
"We'll explain on the way."
Meanwhile, we see Green in a dark, dusty and cluttered attic where the sound of a beating heart and a sinister piano rendition of "The Wedding March" can be heard.
"Oh, a wedding! Is someone getting married?" Green asked, excitedly.
Among the bric-a-brac are several pieces of wedding paraphernalia and decor, and five different marriage paintings, depicting the same bride but with a different groom in each. Then, the heads of each of the grooms disappear. The source of the music is revealed to be a broken-down piano with an invisible pianist (only a shadow of a man cast on the wall and keys).
"Oh no!" cried Green in shock as if something was wrong. However, he didn't get the memo as he exclaimed, "I forgot to buy a gift for the bride!"
As if on cue, a familiar bride appeared behind Green, Constance Hatchaway. When Green turned around, he saw her, though he didn't seem scared.
"Excuse me, I know it's your big day and all, but have you seen my friends anywhere?" Green asked.
Suddenly, Valentina, Blue, Orange, Purple, Yellow and Cyan entered the attic and found Green talking to the bride, much to the others' horror, except for Cyan.
"Uh oh. Here comes the bride and she beat us to it," said Valentina.
"What's so scary about a bride?" Cyan asked.
Valentina whispered to Cyan, making her eyes widen with fear.
Then, Green noticed Valentina and the ghostly Rainbow Friends, though he didn't seem to notice that they were already ghosts.
"Oh, hey, guys," said Green. "I'd like you to meet my new friend. Her name is-"
"Constance Hatchaway!" Valentina cried in fear.
"Constance Hatchaway? That's a pretty nice name," said Green.
Little did he know a hatchet materialized in Constance's hands. Suddenly, she decapitated Green from behind, causing his head to land on the ground. Valentina and the other Rainbow Friends screamed in horror. Then, the group ran out of the attic off-screen with their screams heard.
"WAIT, WE FORGET GREEN!" screamed Purple.
Then, Blue returns, still screaming, much to Constance's confusion.
"THIS IS OUR FRIEND!" Blue shrieked, picking up Green's head.
Then, he drags headless body and quickly heads out the attic, still screaming. This confused the bride even more.
In the Graveyard, we see Blue's body, Green's head and body, Purple's body, Yellow's body and Cyan's ashes placed in coffins of their respective colors, blue, green, purple, yellow and cyan. The coffins then closed.
Valentina, Blue, Orange, Purple, Yellow and Cyan look at Valentina and Orange's graves and five new graves. Blue's grave says, "Here lies our dear friend Blue. With the crown on your head, we will miss you", Green's grave says, "At peaceful rest lies our friend, Green. His blindness led him to a fate he'd never seen.", Purple's grave says, "Here lies Purple, always full of wonder. Went from the vents to six feet under", Yellow's grave says "Yellow Rainbow Friend, this is goodbye. Now an angel in heaven who takes to the sky. R.I.P." and Cyan's grave says, "Cyan, always putting up a fight. Her bark was worse than her bite".
"Is my bark really worse than my bite?" asked Cyan.
"Where's Green? Shouldn't his ghost be here right now?" asked Purple.
Suddenly, a familiar head popped out of the coffin, except it's now aqua blue with a green bowler hat and a white glow.
"Hey, guys, you won't believe what I've been through earlier," Green said.
Then, he rises from the coffin, revealing that he now has a green coat, a green capelet, a dark green vest, a white dress shirt, a dark green bowtie and a ghostly tail instead of legs.
"Believe it or not, I just got beheaded by that crazy, homicidal bride," said Green. "Turns out she wasn't a nice lady after all."
"That's what we've been trying to tell you," Valentina said, dryly.
"Well, now that we're all ghosts, we might as well just get revenge on Red and teach him a lesson he'll never forget, just like what Orange said," said Blue.
"Wait, we're getting back at Red now?" Green asked, confused.
"But how do we get back to Odd World?" Yellow asked.
"Well, we could always find Madame Leota," said Valentina. "Perhaps she can establish contact. After all, she has a remarkable head for materializing the disembodied."
In the Séance Circle, Valentina and the Rainbow Friends enter as a familiar disembodied head inside a crystal ball is speaking.
"Goblins and ghoulies from last Halloween, awaken the spirits with your tambourine," said Madame Leota.
"Thank God, we heard your voice," said Valentina. "You see, we all came through a portal and we don't know how to get back to Odd World. l'm sorry if l sound a little frazzled. We just had one hell of a freaky experience back there. You see, Orange and I died in arrival-"
"l am Madame Leota, seer of all, voice to the spirits," said Leota. "Whom do you seek?"
"That's Madame Leota?" Purple asked. "Her head is in a crystal ball."
"Silence!" shouted Leota. "Whom do you seek?"
"We're seeking a way to get back to Odd World so we can teach a lesson he will never forget," said Valentina.
"Your friends don't appear human as they used to be anymore," said Leota.
"How did she know that?" asked Orange.
"Listen, we could really use your help right about now," said Valentina. "Can you tell us what you see?"
"Very well. I see a Red scientist in the laboratory," said Leota. "He is coming for you."
Then, she shows a vision in the crystal of someone entering the laboratory. It was a humanoid figure with red skin, a round head and large eyes with his clothing consisting of a white lab coat, a black vest, black pants, a red shirt, a black tie and black shoes. This must be Valentina's father, Red, the scientist and the creator of the Rainbow Friends.
"Where is my daughter? She was supposed to help me with an experiment!" he exclaimed to himself, frustrated. "Then again, I was gonna force her to do it anyway."
The Rainbow Friends and Valentina were shocked by this. Red was gonna use her for an experiment?!
"Maybe if I look at the videos from these video surveillance cameras, they'll show me exactly where Valentina is," said Red.
Then, he presses play on the surveillance videos to show Valentina opening the portal, Orange knocking Valentina into the portal before falling into the portal himself and the other Rainbow Friends entering the portal. Red became both shocked and enraged at this as he banged his fists on the table.
"VALENTINA!" shouted Red.
The Rainbow Friends are shocked as Valentina is horrified, especially since Red now knows what happened to Valentina, even though he didn't know that she's already dead yet. Then, the vision ends.
"Oh no! My dad knows, guys!" cried Valentina. "We've gotta do something!"
"Well, there's always my way," said Orange.
Back at the laboratory, we see Red activating the portal, which once again gives out an eerie blue glow.
"So, this is where you and the Rainbow Friends have been," Red says to himself. "You always have been a bad girl, Valentina."
Then, Red enters the portal and the portal closes.
In the Endless Hallways, a portal appears and Red enters before the portal closes behind him.
"Valentina, where are you?!" Red demanded. "When I get my hands on you, you are going to be grounded! You hear me, young lady?! You are in big trouble!"
"The only one in trouble around here is you!" shouted Valentina's voice.
"Wait, what?" Red asked.
Suddenly, an invisible force punches Red, sending him flying into the wall. When Red gets up, he sees that there's no one there.
"What the heck is going on?!" asked Red.
That's when a familiar red-eyed girl turned ghost appeared in front of Red.
"Payback! That's what's going on!" exclaimed Valentina.
Red's eyes widened in shock. To him, the ghost girl looked exactly like his daughter.
"Valen...tina?" Red asked, still shocked.
"Fun fact about Gracey Manor: You know why it's called the Haunted Mansion? It's because this place is home to 999 Happy Haunts," said Valentina. "I guess you can say I'm not only an honorary Happy Haunt, but the honorary 1000th Ghost as well!"
"This is where you've been?!" Red asked, angrily. "Well I've got news for you! Ghost or no ghost, it won't scare me! When we get home, you are GROUNDED!"
"Ground this!" shouted Blue's voice.
That's when Blue appears and punches Red in the face. Red became shocked as he saw Blue, now as a ghost, glaring at him. Then, Green, Orange, Purple, Yellow and Cyan appeared, glaring at the evil scientist.
"Valentina, what have you done to the Rainbow Friends?!" Red cried in shock.
"Did I mention that the other Rainbow Friends are honorary Happy Haunts as well?" Valentina asked. "After all, it was Orange's idea."
As if on cue, Orange bit Red's arm, causing him to scream in pain. Then, Cyan whacked Red with her tail, sending him flying. Then, Green slapped him, sending him to another direction. Then, Purple catches Red before throwing him over to Yellow, who catches him. Then, Yellow drops Red as he falls into Blue's arms. That is when Blue did a body slam on Red.
"Alright, Val, let him have it," said Blue.
Then, Valentina floats up before falling down on Red, performing an elbow drop move on him, causing Red to scream in pain. Then, Valentina gets off her evil father, who is groaning in pain, defeated by his own daughter.
"So, what do we do with him now?" Purple asked.
"I think I know what to do," said Valentina, smirking.
We see a red coffin being buried as Red's incoherent screams were heard from inside. After the coffin was buried, Valentina and the Rainbow Friends smirked at Red's defeat, especially since they just buried him alive. Then, Valentina puts out a tombstone for her father's grave and it says "In unloving memory of Red. A mad scientist we all know well. His wicked ways led him straight to hell".
"So long, Red!" Blue shouted.
"See you in the afterlife!" Green added.
"Yeah, if you ever get there!" Orange jokes.
Then, the Rainbow Friends and Valentina laughed proudly.
At the Grand Hall, Valentina and the Rainbow Friends arrive to see a major party is underway as a multitude of spirits engage in all sorts of revelry.
"Whoa, it's a party over there!" exclaimed Green.
A long dining table covered with decayed floral arrangements and dusty silverware plays host to a birthday feast.
"Yum, cake," said Orange.
Suddenly, the orange-haired birthday ghost blows out the candles on a birthday cake at the head of the table, the other ghosts seated there vanish.
"Hey, where did everyone go?" asked Orange.
That's when the other ghosts seated there reappear when the candles light again, much to Orange's surprise.
Valentina and the Rainbow Friends then see other things. An old woman disappears and reappears in a rocking chair. Several haunts drift into the hall from a hearse parked in a doorway, while cloaked wraith-like phantoms fly in through the broken windows from a stormy night outside.
"Is anyone seeing this?" Cyan asked.
"Guys, look at the ghosts on the chandelier!" Purple exclaimed.
Yellow then floats up to see a number of ghosts - including the notorious Pickwick - gadabout on the chandeliers above the room.
"Oh yeah, I do see it," said Yellow.
Then, he, the other Rainbow Friends and Valentina notice a pair of duelists emerge from their respective paintings on the far wall and take shots at each other, forever reenacting their age-old feud.
"Oh, that's gonna hurt," said Blue.
Valentina and the Rainbow Friends then float past waltzing couples as a ghastly organist plays Grim Grinning Ghosts on a pipe organ, where tiny spirits emerge from the pipes.
"Nice organ," said Valentina.
Then, the group passed by the Hatbox Ghost as his head vanishes from his shoulders and reappears inside the hatbox, his top hat floating above the space where his head should be, only to have the head fade back into its original position moments later.
Back at the Graveyard, a raven caws from a tree branch and the shapes of rising spirits can be seen everywhere. The Graveyard Caretaker is seen with his dog, both utterly petrified by the sight before them.
Music is all around, while playful spooks pop-up from behind their tombstones. That is when Valentina and the Rainbow Friends arrive to see what's happening. To the left, a group of five phantoms play a flute, a horn, a bagpipe, a harp, and pound on a tombstone to create an unearthly vibe. A King and Queen balance on a see-saw while a Duchess swings from a tree branch while she drinks a cup of tea. In the very back a skeletal wolf is seen howling at the moon.
On the other side of the path, five Singing Busts come into view, bearing very vividly lit, expressive faces.
Singing Busts: When the crypt doors creak, and the tombstones quake
Spooks come out for a swinging wake
Happy haunts materialize
And begin to vocalize
Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize
Now don't close your eyes and don't try to hide
Or a silly spook may sit by your side
Shrouded in a daft disguise
They pretend to terrorize
Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize
As the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree
Spooks arrive for the midnight spree
Creepy creeps with eerie eyes
Start to shriek and harmonize
Grim Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize
When you hear the knell of a requiem bell
Weird glows gleam where spirits dwell
Restless bones etherialize
Rise as spooks of every size
Mwahahahahahahahaha!
While the busts are singing, other ghosts materialize, gathering around a hearse and drinking tea. A Mummy sits in his sarcophagus, trying to make contact with an elderly spirit who is just too deaf to understand him. Two ghostly opera singers blast their ghostly voices into the night. A Headless Knight picks up his head from a basket while another ghost kneels down to be decapitated by the Executioner. As the Executioner beheads the other ghost, the Knight waves at Valentina and the Rainbow Friends while the poor ghost behind the Knight and the Executioner tombs himself up.
"This is amazing! Who knew being dead was so much fun?" said Cyan.
"Yeah, we should live here instead of Odd World," said Green.
"You're right! Who needs Red anyway?" said Yellow.
"Yeah, it's not like Red would come from beyond the grave or any-" Blue begins to say until he realizes something in horror. "Uh-oh."
"What do you mean "uh-oh"?" asked Valentina.
"I just realized something. What if Red would come back from beyond the grave?" Blue asked, fearful.
"Oh no. We better get out of here before my dad comes back," said Valentina.
"Good thing I found this Doom Buggy over there," said Orange, showing the group a Doom Buggy.
"Goodbye, everyone! We'll remember you all when we get to Odd World!" Valentina exclaimed.
Then, the group went inside the Doom Buggy and went from the Graveyard to the Mausoleum where they are immediately "greeted" by the Raven who caws at the group while perching on the door to the Mausoleum.
"The last thing we need is an encounter with a hitchhiking ghost like my dad," said Valentina.
"What about Hitchhiking Ghosts like them?" Purple asked, pointing at three figures.
The Rainbow Friends and Valentina then pass by three hitchhiking spirits; a traveler named Phineas, a skeleton named Ezra and a prisoner named Gus.
"I don't think these guys are bad guys," said Valentina.
Valentina and the Rainbow Friends sighed in relief. Then, a portal appears and surprisingly, the Doom Buggy is heading straight towards it.
"Hold on, could this be it?" Blue asked.
"I hope so," replied Yellow.
Then, the Doom Buggy went right through the portal and it closed.
Back at the laboratory in Odd World, the portal opens and the Doom Buggy comes out with Valentina and the Rainbow Friends in it.
"We did it, guys. We're home," said Valentine.
Then, the group went out of the Doom Buggy. Suddenly, an eerie blue light appears around Valentina and the Rainbow Friends, surprising them. Suddenly, the group has been brought back to life as if by magic.
"Hey, we're alive again!" exclaimed Blue.
"Aren't you forgetting someone?" asked a familiar voice.
This made Valentina and the Rainbow Friends afraid. As they turned around, the ghost of a familiar scientist came out from behind the Doom Buggy, laughing maniacally, making the Rainbow Friends and Valentina gasp in horror. It was Red's ghost! He is now aqua blue with a red coat, a dark gray vest, a white dress shirt, a black ascot, a red top hat with a black band around it, black pants, a ghostly tail instead of legs and a ghostly white glow.
"Fools, do you really think that accursed mansion will keep me here forever?" Red asked. "Now to exact my revenge on you all, especially you, Valentina! And besides, what better way to do then to haunted you...forever?!"
The Rainbow Friends screamed in horror as Red laughed evilly, preparing to get them. Suddenly, Valentina holds out a vacuum cleaner and turns it on, beginning to suck Red in.
"What?! Valentina, what are you doing?!" Red demanded. "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
Then, Red got sucked inside the vacuum and Valentina turned it off.
"Looks like Red won't be bothering us again," said Valentina. "And to think he'd be the official 1000th Ghost."
"Valentina, let me out of here!" Red called out from inside the vacuum. "Young lady, I am talking to you!
"Try and punish me and my friends, will you?" Valentina asked, glaring.
Then, Valentina takes the vacuum and puts it in the closet.
"And don't come out until you've learned your lesson!" yelled Valentina.
"VALENTINA!" Red shouted as his daughter closed the closet door.
