*Voyagers Cabin*
.
The morning sun bathed the Voyagers' camp in a soft, golden light, but the mood was anything but warm. Tension was palpable as the team tried to shake off the sting of losing Melissa in the previous challenge. The air buzzed with unease, and no one felt it more than Junior.
Standing at the edge of the campfire pit, Junior clenched his fists, determination etched across his face. This was his moment, his chance to step up and prove to his team—and to himself—that he had what it took to lead them. The Voyagers were down two players in quick succession, and the cracks were showing. He needed to bring them together.
"Alright, team," Junior began, trying to project confidence. His voice wavered slightly but steadied as he continued. "I know things have been rough, but today's challenge is our chance to turn it around. We can't let the Serpents keep walking all over us."
The others gathered around, their expressions ranging from uncertainty to quiet support. Clay, ever the steady presence, nodded in encouragement. "You've got this, Junior. We're all in it together." His voice was calm, but his eyes flickered over to Brianna, who sat a little apart from the group, her shoulders slumped.
With a gentle smile, Clay knelt beside Brianna. "Hey, you've been doing great so far. Don't let the last few challenges get to you. We need you today," he said, his tone reassuring.
Brianna gave a weak smile in return, though the doubt lingered in her eyes. "I just don't want to be the reason we lose again…"

Confessional-Brianna
"I am happy to have Clay as a friend and teammate, but I just can't help but feel as if I am the reason Mel is gone and I feel so guilty about it.

"You won't be," Clay replied firmly. "We're a team, remember? And we've got this."
Meanwhile, Kylie stood quietly at the edge of the camp, absently twirling a strand of her hair as she stared into the distance. Her mind wasn't entirely on the upcoming challenge. Her thoughts drifted to Zane, her old friend turned rival after the team reshuffle. She could still feel the sting from the dodgeball challenge where Zane had hit her.
As Junior laid out the day's plan, Kylie forced herself to focus. Her loyalty was to the Voyagers, but the nagging thought of Zane's conflicted look as he knocked her down wouldn't leave her. She hoped it wouldn't complicate things further. She really wanted to focus on the game and winning.

Serpents Cabin*
.
Over at the Serpents' camp, the atmosphere was charged with a different kind of tension—one that was building, slow and steady, like a pot ready to boil over. Wade stood calmly in the center, his expression cool and composed, but his eyes flicked between his teammates with a quiet intensity. His control came from subtlety, from the way he could twist the situation in his favor with just a few words.
He turned to Brittany, his voice low and smooth, each word carefully measured. "Brittany, I know you're used to leading with force, but we need to approach today differently. The Voyagers aren't going to fall for blunt tactics. They're too desperate for a win." He paused, letting the words sink in. "We have to outthink them. Make them think they're in control… then take them down when they least expect it."
Brittany glared at him, arms crossed defensively, her teal eyes flashing with irritation. "I don't take orders from you, Wade. I've gotten us this far with brute force, and it works, isn't that right Leon. Leon looked up, gulped and said "you got that right baby."
Wade's lips curved into a small, knowing smile. He wasn't rattled by Brittany's defiance. "Of course, you've done well. But imagine how much better you could be with a little strategy to back up that strength," he said, his voice dripping with subtle manipulation. "We're on the same team, after all.
As the two glared at each other, the rest of the Serpents exchanged glances, the tension between the two leaders dragging the entire team into a power struggle. Ana, however, stayed quiet, watching the conflict unfold from the sidelines, her arms crossed. She didn't need to get involved—not yet. Her control over Dallas was enough to ensure her influence within the group, but even she could feel the shifting power dynamics.
Her eyes briefly flicked to Clara, who had been remarkably quiet lately. Too quiet. Ana knew better than to underestimate Clara—after all, Clara had a way of getting others to do her dirty work. Wade's sudden rise in defiance hadn't gone unnoticed by Ana, and she suspected that Clara was quietly stoking the flames.
Clara stood off to the side, her expression neutral as she observed the chaos she had subtly encouraged. A small, almost imperceptible smirk played at her lips as Wade and Brittany continued their shouting match. She didn't need to speak. The less attention on her, the better.
Meanwhile, Dallas hovered near Ana, his loyalty unquestionable. But even his normally steely resolve was starting to crack. The tension between Wade and Ana was forcing him to choose sides. He felt like a pawn caught in a game he wasn't sure he wanted to play anymore. His mind drifted back to their last victory—Ana had praised him for his efforts, but Wade's manipulative whispering was getting louder. Dallas wasn't sure how much longer he could stay loyal to both.
And then there was Zane, standing near the edge of the camp, lost in thought. He had been feeling more and more out of place with the Serpents. Each challenge had chipped away at his resolve, and his connection to Kylie weighed heavily on his conscience. The dodgeball challenge still haunted him. He hadn't meant to hurt her, but in the heat of the moment, he had followed the villain's playbook. Now, he wasn't sure if he could keep playing this game at all.
Zane watched the turmoil within his team and wondered how much longer he could survive in this toxic environment. Every time he locked eyes with Kylie, it became harder to focus on winning.
.
As the teams were talking and exploring possible tactics Chris's voice rang over the speakers, hurry and eat breakfast we have a challenge in just under an hour.
Chris stood at the edge of the stadium, a mischievous grin plastered across his face as he held up a neon-colored flag. "Alright, campers! Today's challenge is all about speed, strategy, and a little something I like to call... chaos!" His grin widened. "Welcome to the Total Drama Roller Derby!"
The teams stood before him, looking up at the enormous circular track that stretched across the arena. Spinning foam bats dangled from the ceiling, moving platforms jutted up and down across the track, and ramps twisted into sudden, unexpected jumps.
"Here's how it works," Chris continued, pacing dramatically. "Each team will send out all their players to race around the track. You'll need to grab five flags from different points on the course while dodging obstacles... and each other. Of course, knocking opponents off balance is totally allowed—and encouraged!" He gave a wink. "First team to collect five flags wins. Got it?"
The Voyagers huddled together, determination flickering in their eyes. Junior, stepping into his role as leader, gave his team a quick, motivating pep talk. He was under a lot of pressure, but he refused to let his team down.
"Alright, here's the plan," Junior said, glancing at his teammates with a mixture of determination and nervous energy. "Kylie, Brianna, you two focus on speed. Use your agility to grab as many flags as you can. Ax, Clay, you're on defense. Keep them off our backs and make sure Kylie and Brianna can grab the flags without getting knocked out. I'll focus on strategy, making sure we get the timing right."
Ax nodded. "Got it. I'll keep an eye on their heavy hitters."
Brianna glanced at Clay, uncertainty flickering across her face, but Clay smiled reassuringly. "You've got this, Bri. Just focus on your speed, and we'll cover you."
Kylie, standing beside them, remained focused. Her thoughts briefly flickered to Zane, but she quickly pushed them aside. "Let's do this."
On the other side of the track, the Serpents weren't quite as united.
"We hit them hard, knock them down, and take the flags," Brittany said, her voice filled with her usual aggression. She cracked her knuckles, eager to get started. "I don't care what Chris says about strategy. If we crush them, they can't win."
Wade, standing a few feet behind her, exchanged a glance with Clara. "Brittany," he said smoothly, his tone far too calm, "it's not always about brute strength. The Voyagers are going to be expecting that. We need to catch them off guard."
Brittany shot him a glare. "Don't tell me how to win. I've been doing just fine without your little mind games."
Clara, ever silent and observant, took a step closer to Wade. She didn't need to say anything—her allegiance to him was clear, though Ana's watchful eyes remained on her. Dallas stood nearby, clearly torn between Ana's leadership and Wade's growing influence. His brow furrowed as he tried to figure out where his loyalty should lie.
"Just trust me on this one," Wade continued, his voice dripping with calm control. "A little sabotage goes a long way."
Ana, watching from the sidelines, said nothing but her eyes flicked from Wade to Clara, noting the quiet alliance they were forming. She knew she was losing control of Dallas. Wade's was driving a wedge between them.
Dallas, shifting uncomfortably, felt the pressure of both sides weighing on him. "What do you want me to do?" he finally asked, directing his question at Ana.
Before she could respond, Chris's voice blared through the megaphone. "Alright, campers! Get ready to roll!"
The whistle blew, and both teams burst into motion.
The Voyagers quickly fell into their roles, Junior calling out commands from behind as Kylie and Brianna darted forward, their speed carrying them ahead. Ax and Clay held back, keeping their eyes on the Serpents and deflecting any attempts to knock them off balance. Clay swerved as Brittany lunged at him, narrowly avoiding a collision.
Kylie sprinted across a moving platform, dodging a spinning foam bat with ease. She grabbed the first flag, a flash of satisfaction on her face as she tucked it into her belt. Brianna, following close behind, stumbled briefly as one of the foam bats clipped her shoulder, but Clay quickly covered for her, deflecting an incoming hit from Zane.
"Keep going, Bri!" Clay yelled, his voice firm as he knocked Zane off balance.
Meanwhile, the Serpents weren't as coordinated. Brittany, true to form, was trying to plow through the Voyagers with brute strength, but Wade's interference was slowing her down. He had other plans, keeping his eyes on the timing and positioning of the Voyagers rather than rushing forward. He wasn't looking to grab the flags; he wanted to throw the Voyagers off their game.
"Let them think they're winning," Wade whispered to Clara, his eyes narrowing as he watched Junior call out another play. "Then we hit them where it hurts."
Dallas, confused and caught in the middle, tried to keep up with Ana's commands, but Wade's influence was growing stronger.
As the teams circled the track, the tension grew. With three flags collected by the Voyagers, the Serpents were growing desperate. Brittany, frustrated by Wade's unwillingness to fully back her aggressive approach, snarled, "We're running out of time!"
Wade, however, remained calm. His eyes flicked to Dallas, who had fallen behind. "Dallas," Wade called smoothly. "Now's your chance."
Dallas hesitated, his loyalty to Ana pulling him in one direction, but Wade's words echoing in his mind. "What are you doing?" Ana shouted. "Get moving!"
But Wade wasn't done yet. As Dallas sprinted forward, Wade subtly stuck out his foot, tripping Dallas in the middle of the track. Dallas stumbled and collided with Brittany, knocking both of them to the ground.
"Watch it!" Brittany screamed, pushing Dallas off her as she scrambled to her feet.
But it was too late. The Serpents' chance to recover was gone, and the Voyagers grabbed their final flag, crossing the finish line in triumph.
Chris's voice blared through the speakers. "And the Voyagers win!"
As the dust settled and the teams gathered to catch their breath, Wade smiled faintly, his eyes glancing toward Ana, daring her to challenge him. Clara stood silently beside him, a slight smirk on her face as she watched Ana's grip on the team slip further.
Dallas, still on the ground, realized too late what had happened. His loyalty to Ana had cost him the game—but it was Wade's betrayal that sealed his fate.
The Voyagers celebrated their victory, Junior breathing a sigh of relief. For the first time, his leadership had paid off.
Meanwhile, the Serpents were left in disarray, the fracture between them more visible than ever.
The campfire flickered against the darkened sky, casting long shadows across the faces of the Serpents as they sat in tense silence. Chris stood in front of them, his trademark smirk firmly in place as he held the final marshmallow in hand.
"Well, Serpents, it's that time again," Chris said with a dramatic pause, "someone's going home, and tonight, you've made your votes clear. Five votes against one unlucky camper, and two votes that don't quite stack up."
The tension was palpable as Dallas sat, a hollow pit growing in his stomach. He could feel it coming, but somehow, he'd hoped it wouldn't end this way. His eyes darted toward Ana, but her expression was unreadable, her icy demeanor betraying none of the frustration he knew she felt.
Chris flipped open the parchment and grinned. "Tonight's eliminated player is... Dallas."
The words hit harder than Dallas expected, though deep down, he'd seen it coming. Across from him, Wade's smirk grew ever more smug as Clara leaned back slightly, her satisfaction hidden beneath a mask of neutrality. Brittany remained unfazed, her arms crossed as she glared into the fire, her vote cast more out of necessity than alliance. Zane, however, sat with his eyes lowered, clearly uncomfortable with the vote, but unwilling to make waves.
Chris tossed the marshmallow into the fire and waved Dallas forward. "Sorry, Dallas, looks like your game ends here. Time to walk the Dock of Shame."
Dallas stood slowly, his mind racing. Wade's betrayal was expected—he had been manipulating the game from the start—but seeing Clara silently reinforce Wade's control? That stung more than he could have imagined. He had been Ana's pawn, and now it was over.
"I tried to save you," Ana said quietly, breaking her silence as Dallas walked past her. There was a rare flicker of genuine emotion in her voice—something only Dallas could catch. "This isn't the end, Wade isn't in control yet," she whispered, her words filled with venom as she watched Wade gloat.
"I know," Dallas replied softly. "But it doesn't matter now." He gave her a small, regretful smile before continuing his walk.
As Dallas approached the Dock of Shame, Chris appeared with his usual nonchalant demeanor. "Well, Dallas, I guess that's game over for you. Any last words before you sail away?"
Dallas shook his head, still processing the weight of his loss. "I guess loyalty only gets you so far in this game."
With that, he boarded the boat, his eyes fixed on the horizon, and the boat slowly disappeared into the night. The Serpents remained around the campfire, their alliances more fractured than ever.
.
Wade's Confessional:
"Now that Ana knows who's really in charge, I've got this game in the bag. The Voyagers better watch out because next time, we're coming for them."
Clara's Confessional:
"Sometimes, it's better to let others think they're in control. Wade may think he's the mastermind, but he's just a pawn in my game."
Ana's Confessional:
"They may have taken Dallas from me, but this isn't over. I'll show them what happens when you cross me. Wade thinks he's won, but I don't play games I'm not ready to win."
Junior's Confessional:
"Finally, a win. The team's coming together, and we've got momentum now. We can do this."
End Confessionals
.
As the boat carrying Dallas drifted off into the distance, Chris turned back to the camera, his signature grin still firmly in place.
"Well, well, well! Looks like the Serpents have slithered into a power struggle! With Dallas gone and Wade on top, will Ana strike back and reclaim control of her team? Or will Clara's quiet manipulation flip the script again? And over on the Voyagers, is Junior's leadership here to stay, or will Ax and Clay take the reins?"
He paused dramatically, raising an eyebrow at the camera.
"One thing's for sure—this game is only getting wilder. Tune in next time to find out who will roll with the punches and who will take a tumble, right here on Total... Drama... Heroes and Villains!"

Authors Note
Another chapter out now, I am happy with this pace and I hope it continues. We have reached the top 12! Which is crazy at times I thought I would never get here. What do you guys think of the top 12? Who is your favorite/least favorite? Any you are surprised are here or expected to be here? Do you feel like everyone is getting their time to shine?
Also huge thanks to NerdyNightStocker for the use of Dallas, I felt bad he became very much a pawn very early on but he was fun to write and I enjoyed him.
This chapter and the first part of this note were written a week ago, but then I got distracted and did not release either. One direction is my favorite band and Liam dying last week really affected me in a negative way.

Audition Tape
The setting is a forest clearing in which we hear girlish giggling and see a tall guy with mahogany hair shooting arrows into a tree with a makeshift bulleye carved into the bark. Each arrow hits close to the center and the boy nods in satisfaction before turning to his sister and appears taken aback.
Dallas: "What'd ya think of-*looks shocked* wait, you're filmin' NOW? I thought we were doin' this later, Dolly."
Dahlia: *giggles again* "Nah this was much better than you sittin' and wittlin' a statue! Now tell it like it is, brotha!"
Dallas: *stiffens and clears his throat* "Alright. Uh...howdy. I'm Dallas Mason and I want to be on this new show so I can make life better for my folks. Our ranch is in trouble and winnin' bullridin' contests and shootin' tournaments can only get us so far."
Dahlia: "In other words we want a bunch of big bucks at one time so our family doesn't become homeless!". She says this in a bizarrely cheerful manner.
Dallas: *grimaces* "It's not like that...not yet anyway..." His face becomes calm again. "So...pick me? And thank ya kindly for this chance." He gives the camera a nod and strained smile before it fades to black.
