After a while, I think it's time we get another chapter of this Jimmy Neutron fic done! Little by little, everything seems to be coming together, but what'll happen? Just read on and find out! Anyway, enjoy!

Jimmy weakly opened his eyes a bit as he tried to get a good bearing of his surroundings.

"Ugh, my head..." Jimmy groaned as he slowly got up, trying to keep himself well balanced before shaking his head. "What happened?"

Quickly, the young boy genius looked around as he saw a lot of red walls... green water... and some sickly looking algae that looked to be dissolved. It was the algae that managed to snap him awake as he looked down at his clothes. He yelped as he noticed his shoes were slowly beginning to dissolve themselves. Jimmy yelped and screamed as he pulled out his Hypercube and pulled out what seemed to be a grappling hook. Quickly taking aim for a stalactite above the ceiling, he shot the hook upwards as it wrapped around.

Jimmy then pushed the trigger as he got pulled out just in time, although his shoes weren't quite saved as they had melted away in the green water below him. Still, he managed to land with his bare feet in the safety of the slippery wet floor next to the green stuff. As soon as he managed to get himself well and balanced, he started to piece things together...

"Right... so obviously, I got swallowed by that alien fish... a Requin Do Ligre, April called it..." Jimmy paused as he tapped his foot. "Seems to me I'm in a classic Pinocchio situation here."

As Jimmy pondered his situation, he yelped as he looked around. "April? APRIL?!"

The boy genius called the Gorlockian warrior's name, but he didn't hear a sound from anywhere. It was then a sense of dread started to wash over Jimmy as he feared the worst. Could the monster have already digested her? All of a sudden, a muffled sound came from the west of him. Jimmy gasped as he turned and gave a smile. "April?"

He started to walk towards the sound, being careful not to slip on the wet insides on his bare feet. He kept going until he saw a dead end. He stopped short and frowned as he looked around. "April? Where are you?!"

"Jimmy! I'm over here!" April's voice sounded.

The brown haired genius didn't take long to figure out that the voice he heard was on the other side of the wall. Jimmy leaned over towards the wall to listen, only for it to somehow open up like a door, causing the young boy to stumble over. Upon recovering and picking himself up from the floor, he brushed off some goop before noting a sitting April holding her leg, giving a groan

Jimmy gave a sigh of relief as he ran over and bent down. "Are you okay?"

"I'm all right... for the most part... the Requin Do Ligre swallowed the both of us, though, and I guess during the fall into its stomach, I fell down hard on the floor... and... my leg it... hurts really bad..." April moaned.

Jimmy gasped as he leaned over. "Is it broken?"

"I think so... I can barely stand up..." April groaned as she tried to stand up, only to put pressure on her right leg as she attempted to stand on it, causing her to wail out in pain before falling again.

Jimmy looked so concerned as he lifted her up, before pulling out his Hypercube. "Hang on, maybe I have some bandages and gauze."

"Do you know proper medicine here?" The Gorlockian warrior asked.

"Well... I'm not exactly a doctor, BUT as a scientist, it is my duty to examine anything in the human body, even bones. And judging from your busted leg, there is no doubt a crack in your bones somewhere. I do have an invention that could heal your leg proper, BUT... it's back with Goddard. Even if I do communicate with him now, it would endanger our mission of saving your parents." Jimmy sighed as he put his hand in the cube and pulled out a few white bandages and some gauze. "Take off your boot so I can apply the bandages."

April could only nod as she removed her boot and laid her leg down. Gently, Jimmy lifted her leg up as he felt around it to see where the pain was. As soon as he pinched her calf, April winced and gave a scream.

"S-sorry! I was just finding where the source of the pain came from!" Jimmy reassured her before applying the bandages around the leg. "Just hold still, I'll see what I can do to fix it..."

The Gorlock gave a small pant of exhaustion, but nevertheless, let Jimmy do his thing as she watched him, giving a small smile towards the boy. About a couple minutes later, Jimmy finished bandaging the leg up as he gave a nod. "Okay, try standing up, but don't put too much pressure on the leg."

April obeyed as she tried to get up slowly, using her good leg. The young boy quickly held her hand as he held her up, trying to get her in a standing position. April gasped a bit before finding herself standing... a bit wobbly, but at least she could stand a bit. She tried to move her legs a bit, only when she moved her bad one, she hobbled downwards. Fortunately for her, Jimmy managed to catch her in the nick of time.

"Gotcha." Jimmy said as he picked her up, bridal style. April found herself blushing at this predicament, as was Jimmy, who was blushing as well. "Maybe it's best I carry you for a little while, to get your leg elevated and all..."

"Are you sure you are strong enough to carry a beautiful Gorlockian warrior like myself?" April asked.

Jimmy gave a light chuckle. "I may look weak to some, but to others, thanks to brainpower, I can show off my skills in other ways... thankfully, you're as light as a feather."

"Awww, you're a sweet boy, Jimmy." April giggled before kissing him on the lips, causing the young boy genius to blush heavily.

"Okay, soooo... since it's no doubt rare for a shark creature like the Requin Do Ligre to swallow us whole, there must be a way out..." Jimmy said. "Two ways out, but I do NOT want to go the other way... is there a blowhole in this creature that you know about?"

"Yes, the Requin Do Ligre has a blowhole, but it's all the way up there." April explained as she pointed upwards. "And considering we're a little... HIGH... up, I doubt we're going to have that easy of a climb."

"To a modern climber, it is difficult... but to a person who has a jetpack..." Jimmy smirked as he pushed a button on his backpack to show off some rocket boosters. "I think we can manage. Hang on tight!"

April smiled as she put her hands around Jimmy, staring at the boy lovingly as the boy genius started to go up into the air, carrying the beautiful alien warrior princess with him. As the two of them flew through the esophagus of the creature, April couldn't help but give a smile towards the young boy who had wrapped his leg and was currently on their way to get the both of them out. She looked up and noticed something up ahead. "Jimmy, we're getting close to the blowhole!"

Jimmy looked up to see a large hole in the center of the roof of the beast puffing in and outwards. The young boy genius smirked before looking down. "Okay, April, get ready! We're about to make a mad dash out of there!"

"I don't know if we'll make it!" April shouted.

"We will if my calculations are correct!" Jimmy called out as he narrowed his eyes. "It's all in the..."

Jimmy smirked as the hole puffed itself open before blasting forward, carrying April with him.

"TIIIIIIIIIMIIIIIING!"

The Requin Do Ligre was still swimming along around the entrance of the pipe, still a little proud that it had managed to capture its tasty meal, though how little it was, it was still enough to satisfy his stomach. Before the creature could swim back towards the place it came from, it felt a sudden urge to sneeze. After a small grunt, its blowhole sneezed out two small figures as they were sent spiraling up the pipe.

April gasped as she looked around to see they were back at the place they were before the monster swallowed them. She looked up at Jimmy, who was already holding his breath. April did the same, realizing they were both underwater. And although they couldn't risk talking to avoid losing air, the look on their eyes showed relief that it was over... and as they entered towards the pipe that lead to the castle, they knew their job wasn't quite done yet...

Because the next stop... was going to be the infiltration of the castle and the rescue of April's parents!

Okay, that was this chapter done! How did you guys like it? Sorry if it was rather short, but it has been a little while since I got back into this. But now that the potential couple is out of the whale, it's time for them to save April's parents! However, they're going to learn that it's going to be easier said than done, ESPECIALLY with King December's new assistant on their tail... and how will April's busted leg complicate the plan? That'll be something you'd have to keep watch on! Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, everyone!
