2 Hours Later

The Docks 6:45

Now at the docks after having leaving from the Asylum, Red Hood was perched on top of a warehouse and surveyed the area spotting a large sum of Black Mask's men posted near shipping containers.

"Black Mask has a lot of guys on this. Those guns must have a lot of firepower." Red Hood says to himself, as he looks into the distance to see a cargo ship.

Then just as he was about to go take out the guards, a black SUV enters the yard and Red Hood turns his head, diverting his attention.

"Oh? Who's this?" He questions and the SUV parks in the center, and who exits out surprises the vigilante.

"Alright, listen up! This new guy in town has screwed with Black Mask's op long enough! If he shows his face tonight, shoot the bastard. But make sure he's breathing. Boss personally wants to finish the kill himself, and send a message to anyone who tries to mess with him." One of the Mayor's Task Force members says to all the Thugs, having stepped out in his grey and black armor.

Hearing enough, Red Hood then flips off the warehouse, doing a somersault before landing the SUV, dent the roof and cracking the windows.

Everyone turn their attention on him and Red Hood stands up, unholstering his guns.

"Cool. What's the message?" He remarks and they all aim at him.

"Nevermind. I got a few ideas." Red Hood says and quickly moves out of the way, whilst also firing back at the Thugs, taking a few out in the process.

He takes cover behind the car, and reaches in his jacket for a smoke-greande.

Red Hood then pulls the pin and throws it towards the Thugs, causing the smoke to engulf.

"He's using smoke! Stay together! And watch your fire!" The Task Force member exclaims and the Thugs start going back to back.

But that didn't matter as Red Hood moved through the smoke, letting off two headshots killing two more Thugs.

This caused for other Thugs to fire at position but he rolls to the side and threws several batarangs all lodging into the vital areas of the Thugs.

One Thug tries to deck him from behind but Red Hood dodges the hit and kicks the rifle out of his hands and start hitting a combination of punches. Lastly, he kicks him in the chest, making him roll backwards.

The smoke was now cleared and Red Hood was face to face with the member of the Mayor's Task Force.

"Heh. So, you're who's been giving the boss a tough time?" He questions and Red Hood narrows.

"I am. And you're member of the Mayor's Task Force. Guess Black Mask has you on the payroll." Red Hood says and the Task Force Member chuckles.

"Something like that. It's definetly going up once I take care of you." He threatens and pulls his baton and it sparks with electricity.

"Yeah...no." Red Hood retorts and grabs his crowbar as the Task Force member charges at him and tries to hit him with the baton.

Red Hood dodges backs and strikes him on the left side of his head, then follows up with a knee to his gut.

The Task Force member was dazed but still throws a right-hook but gets caught and Red Hood throws him over his shoulder.

Still having his arm in his grasp, Red Hood then breaks it over his knee, earning a yell from the corrupt officer.

"ARRGH! My arm!" The Task Force member yells and Red Hood then lets go of his arm and stomps on his face, knocking him out.

"You're lucky you're a cop. Otherwise I wouldn't have been so polite." He states then turns his attention back on the cargo ship that now arrived.

Seeing this, he fires a grappling hook and pulls himself upwards and lands on the deck of the ship.

Red Hood then notices several crates in front of him. He uses his crowbar to crack open one of them and he smirks upon seeing the hardware.

"Not bad...not bad at all."

Streets Of Gotham

Speeding through the streets was the Batmobile, with Batman at the wheel and Batwoman in the passenger seat.

The ride from Arkham was a long one, especially an unerving one. A uncomfortable silence for majority of the time.

This was however broken when Batwoman says something unexpected.

"What was he like?" She questions and Batman narrows his eyes, focusing on the road.

"Jason. What was he like? I didn't know him personally, but...he meant a great deal to you. If you don't want to answer...I understand." Batwoman informs and looks out the window, gazing at the neighborhood.

After a few moments, Batman then answers.

"He was...different." He says and Batwoman turns her head, facing him.

"Jason was different. Similar to Dick, but his polar opposite in so many ways. I..knew if Jason continued down the path he was heading he would a criminal or worse. So I made him Robin. And...he loved it. Even more than Dick ever did. I'm not sure why, but I think it was...the feeling. The thrill, adrenaline, but more importantly...the freedom it gave him." Batman lists and Batwoman contiunes listening with a intrigued look.

"But he always felt like he had something to prove. Even when I assured him he didn't. He wanted my approval...my respect. Not knowing he already had it." He finishes and his grip tightens on the steering wheel.

"Bruce. I didn't mean to-"

"No, it's fine. You were just...curious." Batman says as he contiunes to drive before the Batmobile intercepts a police scanner.

"Reports of shots fired at the docks. Send in any availble units, over."

Batman then raises an eyebrow and makes drifting turn, spinning the car around.

"Think he's gonna be there?" Batwoman questions.

"Maybe." He replies before driving towards the scene.

The Docks

Few Minutes Later

"I gotta say...Black Mask has taste. He wouldn't mind me taking some for myself right?" Red Hood says to himself as he now armed himself with a T91 assualt rifle and a AT308 sniper, along with several greanades.

"Who am I kidding? Of course he will. He's probably gonna be pissed..." He continues and pulls out a detonator with a smirk under his mask.

"Very, very, very pissed." Red Hood finishes about to press the button before several black trucks pull up in front of the ship.

Then men in black masks get out and everyone one of them had AR-15's.

"Crap!" He exclaims before ducking behind cover as the reinforcements start firing at him.

'BRRRRRTTTT!'

'BRRRRRTTTT!'

'BRRRRRTTTT!'

"Damm! These guys must've been on standby. Of course they were. Guys before weren't enough to guard a damn shipment in GOTHAM." Red Hood thinks to himself as he stays hidden.

He takes his newly acquired T91 rifle and cocks it, ready to retaliate, untill he hears a familiar engine, causing his eyes to widen and a small smirk to be plastered under his helmet.

"Was wondering if you'd show..." Red Hood says to himself and peeks over to see both Batman and Batwoman jump out of the Batmobile and start taking down Black Mask's men.

He watches them closely, his attention mainly on Batman but still manages to study Batwoman quite a bit.

"Got some new tricks. But then again...you also have your old ones." Red Hood makes a mental note before putting his rifle back over his shoulder and starts leaving the ship.

Back to the fight, Batman was effortlessly taking down the thugs alongside his cousin.

He then side-kicks a goon that was attempting to strike behind him, while also throwing several batarangs at thugs firing their rifles.

They all hit them in their hands, causing them to drop the guns. Allowing for Batwoman to leap in the air and kick both of them in the face.

"Argh!" "Gagh!"

She then fires a grapple towards a crate and pulls it back, making it fly forward and hit another goon in the back of their head.

"Their attire...they're definitely running with Black Mask." Batwoman states and Batman throws a thug into one of their trucks.

He then notices the dead bodies and unconcsious Task Force member on the ground.

"And it seems we're not the first ones to get here. Whoever they were shooting at must be on the ship." Batman informs and with a couple of more momemts, all the thugs were taken down.

The two then grapple upwards landing on the ship, and examines the deck.

"Check the ship. Their target may still be here." Batman orders and Batwoman nods then heads down to the lower levels.

The Dark Knight then looks over the crates narrowing his eyes, and walks towards them.

He notices one of them was opened sees the only hardware left was some flash bangs.

"Weapons shipment. Black Mask got robbed. And judging from the bodies, Red Hood's done this. That Task Force member could tell us more. But what was he-?" He starts thinking to himself before Batwoman rushes up the stairs.

"Bomb! Jump now!" She exclaims and they both watse no time and getting off the ship before it could blow.

'BOOOOOOOMMMMM!"

Rolling into their landing the cousins quickly recover and look at the sinking ship, now in flames.

Batwoman then turns towards Batman about to explain but notices his attention was elsewhere.

Her eyes follow to where he is looking and her eyes widen, seeing the figure responsible for the explosion. And who was currently locking eyes with Batman.

"Red Hood..."

A/N: Finally, another update that y'all been waiting for. And now Batman meets Red Hood for the first time, the slight change being it's with Batwoman and not Nightwing.

Also, having doing a quick little search and thinking, Jason's VA is now Jonah Scott because after listening to an audio on TikTok, his voice so perfectly matches Red Hood.

Here's the link.
