The hall emptied after an hour.
Hermione and Ginny shared a glance, both still processing the unexpected outcome. Hermione whispered, "Let's go back to the dorm, yeah?"
Ginny nodded, though her face showed a mix of pride for Hermione and the sting of disappointment. They walked back in silence, each lost in their thoughts, the chatter of the other students fading as they reached Gryffindor Tower.
Once inside the dormitory, Hermione began packing her things quietly, glancing over at Ginny, who sat on the edge of her bed, staring down at her hands. The sight tugged at Hermione's heart; she could tell Ginny was struggling to hold back her emotions.
"Ginny," Hermione said softly, setting down the book she'd just folded into her bag. "I know how much you wanted this. And… I just want you to know it doesn't feel right going without you."
Ginny forced a smile, shaking her head. "I'll be fine, Hermione. It's not like I didn't expect this could happen."
Hermione walked over, sitting beside her. "But I know it hurts," she said, placing a hand on Ginny's shoulder. "You've been my friend through so much. And… you've told me things no one else knows. Even your deepest desire"
Ginny looked at her, confusion crossing her face. "What do you mean?"
Hermione hesitated for a moment but then pressed on. "You've mentioned wanting to show me your body. Maybe... it could help you feel better. It's just us here."
Ginny hesitated, biting her lip. "Are you serious? I don't want to make things weird again."
"I'm serious," Hermione insisted softly. "It could be an emotional goodbye, something just between us."
After a moment, Ginny said. "But..."
"But I want to." Hermione offered her a warm smile. "Think of it as a way to say goodbye—for now. You deserve that."
For a moment, Ginny hesitated, glancing away as if fighting a mix of embarrassment and anticipation.
Slowly, Ginny stood up, her heart racing. She took a deep breath and began to lift her shirt, revealing her smooth, fair skin. The fabric slid over her curves, exposing her modest breasts, which were a soft shade of rose.
Then Ginny fully removed her skirt, she revealed her flat stomach and the gentle contours of her body. Below, a neatly trimmed red bush framed her feminine silhouette.
Hermione's breath caught in her throat; she hadn't anticipated how breathtaking Ginny would look in this vulnerable moment.
Ginny's cheeks flushed as she caught Hermione's gaze, a hint of uncertainty in her eyes. "I—uh, this is… How is it?"
"Beautiful," Hermione reached out, brushing her fingers lightly over Ginny's arm in encouragement.
Hermione knelt down in front of Ginny, looking up at her friend. "Thank you for trusting me with this."
Gathering her courage, Ginny moved closer, and Hermione could feel the warmth radiating from her. Hermione leaned down and kissed Ginny's bush softly.
Instead of tears, Ginny breathed out a soft laugh, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of surprise and joy. "Wow, I didn't expect that."
Hermione pulled back slightly, searching Ginny's face. "It's a moment we'll always remember. A piece of us, you know?"
Ginny nodded, a shy smile spreading across her face. "Thank you, Hermione. For everything."
The next day dawned bright and clear. Hermione and Ginny made their way down to the entrance hall, where the five selected students were to gather for their journey to Beauxbatons.
Dumbledore stood before them, a twinkle in his eye. "Today, you embark on a magical adventure!"
As they stepped outside, the sight of the magnificent ship took their breath away. Its sails shimmered like gossamer, catching the sunlight in a dazzling display. The ship, named The Siren's Call, was adorned with intricate carvings of mermaids.
Hermione and the others climbed aboard, feeling the gentle sway of the ship as it began to lift off the ground. The landscape of Hogwarts faded away, replaced by a breathtaking view of the countryside.
As the ship glided closer to Beauxbatons, the students could hardly contain their awe. The school was a breathtaking sight, a majestic pink castle that floated just above the shimmering surface of the lake. Its architecture resembled a delicate blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles, with tall spires and graceful arches that reached toward the azure sky.
Lush gardens surrounded the castle, filled with vibrant flora that seemed to dance in the gentle breeze. Lavender, roses, and other exotic flowers created a tapestry of colors, their sweet fragrances mingling in the air.
Among the foliage, nymphs frolicked in the water, glistening with droplets as they playfully splashed each other. Their laughter echoed softly, a siren's call to those who ventured too close.
Hermione couldn't help but stare at them adorned in nothing but a delicate arrangement of vibrant green leaves and bright flower petals. The nymphs wore skirts made of broad leaves that barely covered their hips.
Their tops were crafted from smaller leaves, artfully designed to cover just enough of their breasts, allowing glimpses of their curves to peek through. Petals of vivid colors clung to their bodies, offering mere hints of coverage while accentuating the graceful lines of their waists and arms.
In the garden, a majestic statue of a Skarooth stood proudly. The statue was a reminder of the school's storied past and the powerful magic that resonated within its grounds.
