"Is it?" Kokabiel said, surprisingly not as cocky as before.
I stepped forward. Fully ready for my first proper fight. I didn't cast anything, nor did I look at my bloodline. In true Koneko style, I wrapped my body in my immense magic power, the reinforcement skill scaling with just how strong it was. Then, I shot forward, my fist cocked back. In an instant, I was upon him, and in my heart, I seriously wanted to shout, serious series: serious punch! I abstained. It was true though, that even with my bloodline, I was far more suited for physical combat.
Kokabiel's eyes couldn't even open all the way before my fist impacted his jaw, producing a nasty crunch and completely turning his head in the other direction. He went spiraling to the floor landing with an impact that formed a deep crater. He wasn't dead, but definitely paralyzed as blood leaked from every opening.
I landed right atop the crater. I looked down, fully prepared to end this. That was before my attention was utterly grasped in a tight hold.
White armor, with blue wings. It had blue gems ingrained. The man inside stood tall, but I couldn't care less in the moment.
"I was told you were getting out of hand, but look at that you almost got yourself killed." The voice behind the armor spoke.
"Partner…" And then a different voice spoke as well, much deeper. "We need to leave."
"What? Why are you in such a hurry all of a sudden?" The man behind the armor looked up from the crater, meeting my eyes and those of the people behind me.
I barely registered that. My focus was entirely on the armor's right hand. "That man, look at his arm." The voice of the power I so sought, the power that out of nowhere gripped my heart. I wanted it, to the point of need. An overwhelming sense took over, one that demanded I conquer that power.
My gear glowed, light shimmering into existence as it locked onto the gear. "What is it?" The current user of the power I sought was on guard.
"A level of greed that can only exist in one, the sole being who wishes to make the world itself a treasure in her collection." His tone was deep and on edge. Just as he said so, my gear's glow shined even brighter.
"What does that mean Albion?" The boy spoke, also on edge.
"It means that witch is here damn it! Has she fallen as well? And if so, why did that bastard God have to use her soul!" Albion groaned.
"I still don't understand, who is 'She'? Is she strong?"
"Strong? Maybe not so much as Ddraig and I, but… yes, she is." Albion spoke once more.
"If that's the case why do you sound so damn scared?"
"You would be too if you met her!" Albion stammered.
"Now now." A new voice filled the space, sourcing from my gear. The feeling of intense possessiveness began to fade, splitting off from me into the form that started to emerge out of the gear. "Is that how you talk about an old friend Albion?"
The light shimmered down to reveal the woman in all her beautiful buxom glory. What caught my eye first was her thick long horns that jetted from her head, they curved in on themselves and thinned as it went. They ended at her waist and resembled butterfly wings from how they curved. Then there was her hair, a silverish-pale blue that cascaded down at a length that rivaled Akeno's.
Parts of her body were covered in scales, mainly from her feet to just below her knees. The rest of her was barely covered, only small navy blue panties-like cloth that covered her pussy but left her ass to only be covered by her hair. For a top, she wore a cropped jacket that exposed her navel and wrapped around her shoulder. It was open, and her massive mammaries would have been exposed if not for the bandages she wrapped around them.
Spoiler
"Tiamat…" Albion declared.
"In the flesh." The former obsession I had felt in my heart transferred completely to the girl as she looked at the boy's arm.
"I see that…how? Were you not in his sacred gear?"
"Indeed, I was." The woman smirked. Turning to me she eyed me with glee, like I was a possession of hers. "For too long." She started. "I have searched for an answer...how do I claim the infinite AND the dream? I wanted it all, including the principles you and Ddraig stole from God. But, I could never find a way, your treasures seemed unreachable, but I never did give up."
She licked her lips, taking hold of my arm with her dainty fingers and pressing my hand against her cheek. "That was until he came, along with a sacred gear not of God's creation. I sensed it instantly, the answer to all my desires, all stuffed inside a boy. I answered its call, and allowed myself to fuse with it. In becoming his treasure I gained the path to take my own."
Her dark blue eyes gleamed as she turned back to Albion. "Starting with the principle of supremacy."
"You wish to steal my power… Vali, leave now." Albion commanded but the boy stood still.
"Why? This sounds interesting." The now named Vali proclaimed.
Tiamat returned back to me, smiling as she did. "I looked forward to working with you, my partner." She leaned forward held my face between her hands and went in to kiss me.
"No can do." I blocked her mouth, watching as she scrunched her eyebrows in displeasure.
"First off what's with that lame-ass introduction? If you're going to pop up and make all these declarations at least greet me properly first." I deadpanned. "A little 'Hi' or 'nice to meet you', would've sufficed. I still have no real clue who you are except that you supposedly reside in my sacred gear. Ah right, and sorry my lips and cock are reserved for my lovers and recognized subordinates."
I finally let her go, watching as she backed away. There was a slight blush on her cheeks but I'm not sure if it was from embarrassment or otherwise.
"It can wait though, for now, we have a goal. I've been wanting to try what 'Treasure Usurper' can do, and given this guy is trying to rescue the enemy, I'll assume he's a fair target." I scrutinized the boy openly.
Tiamat's fiendish grin returned at a beat. She tapped the gauntlet, quickly returning inside with a short flash.
"Good! I'm glad we're on the same wavelength partner!" Her voice resounded from the gear.
"What do I need to do?" I questioned, I stood in a fighting stance prepared for any sudden movement.
"You'll know, just worry about kicking that guy's ass!" Tiamat proclaimed and I nodded.
I dashed forward, eyes trained on Vali. "Partner LEAVE!" Albion called once more as Vali went to meet me head-on.
I avoided Saitamaing him, wanting to see what it was he could do. I found that out right as the boy touched me. I kicked him away, sending him through the air before he was able to stabilize himself.
"Divide!" Instantly, I felt my power sap away. I felt weaker, from my raw strength to my magic power. But, I understood, this was Albion's supremacy. To bring down another and use their strength against them.
"I see. I see! I SEE!" Tiamat shouted, my gauntlet glowing. "Partner more! I need to feel it more!"
"You better know what the hell you're talking about…" I sighed, eyes narrowing as I moved once more. I was far weaker now, but I'd still fight, partly because the will of this woman was impacting my own.
"I see why Albion told me to escape, I've never felt so filled before." Vali voiced as we clashed, my fist meeting his cross-guard.
"I do not want to hear that from you." I kicked him in the stomach, sending him falling back.
"It's really too bad. You lost the moment you didn't take me seriously from the start." Vali raised his palm up to me again.
"Here it comes~!" Tiamat exclaimed in raw excitement.
"Divide!"
The weakness was nauseating, but again my mind was flooded with further understanding. The need for power, the need to rise above.
"Hehehehhe, I feel it! I understand it! Once more! Just one more time partner!" Tiamat begged, and I would've refused if I too hadn't felt the same way.
I wasted no time, mustering the quarter of strength I still had left. I was sluggish, my speed falling below Vali's.
My attempt at a roundhouse was blocked and instead, I felt his armor-clad foot impact my gut.
Dark spots appeared in my vision, as the sound rang out once more.
"Divide!"
I felt myself blacking out, the draining of my power down to a meager eighth having obvious consequences. But, that wasn't going to be it for me. I clutched the leg I had managed to latch onto.
And then…
"So this is it Albion?! THIS IS YOUR POWER!"
"DIVIDE!" The voice this time came from my own gauntlet. I felt as instantly strength returned to my every pore.
"What?" Vali exclaimed backing away fast after I let go.
"YOU DAMN THIEF!" Albion screeched from his gauntlet, rage evident.
My gauntlet glowed the blue of Divine Dividing, despite keeping its former appearance.
I smirked. I understood as well, not just about the transition of the concept of supremacy into actual power, but about my gear as well. I had usurped his power but didn't necessarily steal it.
"Hehe!" Tiamat giggled. "Partner, our treasure, I want to see more of it!" She exclaimed, driving the edges of my lips up into a deeper smile.
I felt something else bubble up, something I knew I possessed but otherwise hadn't even touched until now. With Tiamat so fused directly with my soul, I couldn't ignore that with which we both shared. My pride soared, my desire to roar bubbling from the deepest depths of my being.
"What? That boy is a dragon?!" Albion exclaimed.
I burst forth, feeling replenished even beyond the power I had taken back from Vali. My knee slammed into his chin.
"Divide!"
And I roared! My voice shook the space, rattling it. The ground quaked as I clenched my fist. My power burst out, now mixed with something more, something draconic.
I then rushed down, slamming my suddenly crimson-red scale-clad fist into the boy just as he stabilized. He went limp, not recovering his mental faculties until it was too late to stop his body from crashing straight into the ground.
"Divide!" Tiamat shouted once more. Her own glee skyrocketed as she achieved what she had desired for so long.
Vali's armor dissipated, revealing the teenage boy himself to me. I landed, a grin smug on my lips as I towered over him. Blood leaked from his smashed chin, and he was unconscious.
"Wait." A calmer voice came from Albion. "Spare him." He paused for a moment before he continued with a sigh as if he had given up. "He was only here to retrieve the fallen on the orders of Azazel, so he could be punished."
"Azazel… Rias has mentioned his name before, he is the leader of Grigori right?" I asked.
"Yes, he has only recently become aware of Kokabiel's actions, the man was acting alone." I nodded, looking back in the direction where Rias and the others were.
"Well, I have no real desire to kill the boy. I got what I wanted." I huffed, holding up my right arm and admiring the soft blue glow encompassing my sacred gear.
"It feels wonderful, doesn't it partner." Tiamat's voice resounded once more.
"It does." I nodded. "Now, stay inside there until we get back home, then we can talk."
"Very well, though please do not take too long, I am rather excited." After that, her voice disappeared completely.
I turned to leave, and just then Albion spoke once more. "Wait. At least tell me your name."
"Akito Nemura, a pleasure to meet you, Albion," I smirked before my attention landed back on the crater. I contemplated for but a second before I huffed, and appeared right above the defeated Fallen. I stomped, my foot coated in my magic, and aimed directly at his throat. A loud crunch resounded as his throat was crushed. His body remained limp all the while. I then deployed my wings, this time that of a dragon, and left.
The first thing I did when I touched down on the ground right next to the confused group was to go up to Rias, pull her in, and give her a hot, searing kiss. With the fluidity of water, she wrapped her arms around my neck and happily leaned even further into it.
"Ara~ dear, I do hope I'm next," Akeno said from the side followed up quickly by two more girls who demanded similar.
I recognized their words but did nothing to respond. Instead, my hand drifted down and I found the spot I usually let it rest, right on her ass hidden below her skirt.
The naughty girl then stuck in her tongue and we would've probably got a little too lost if we hadn't heard the dry cough from behind us.
"Woah, what the hell are you doing here?" I broke the kiss, wiping my mouth of our mixed saliva and turning to the newly appeared figure.
The front part of his hair was blonde, and the back was black. He was tall and wore a quizzical grin. More importantly, on his back were twelve raven black wings.
"You must be Azazel," I called, looking at the lifeless figure of Kokabiel and the unconscious one of Vali at his side.
"Right I am." The man scrutinized me.
"You're pulling my balls! You're the fallen leader?!" Issei exclaimed, pointing at the man who had been his contractor for a while.
The man laughed heartily, amused grin turning to Issei. "I hope that doesn't mean you'll have to cancel our contract, Red Dragon Emporer."
"You're here for them, that's obvious. And I don't think you're looking for revenge." I interrupted, really wanting to go home now.
"Right again, though I am a little annoyed you had to beat the poor boy up the way you did." He pointed to Vali.
"It was a good fight," I noted off-handedly then pointed to the other guy lying slumped on the ground. "You won't complain about him will you."
At that, he frowned. "I will not, his ambitions have grown out of control."
I nodded at that, happy to have avoided adding more to my plate. Now there was just one more thing. "Good, now all that's left are reparations, you're poor leadership endangered us all after all."
His closed-eyed smile twitched. "That so…"
"Yes, though for now you're hands seem full, Issei knows how to contact you, so we hope to hear from you soon." I waved cheerfully at the man, fully intent on making him pay his due, and he was smart enough to not try and get out of it.
He was gone without another word, disappearing behind a bright flash.
"The barrier is gone, we'll need to fix this place back up," Rias said, magic power already set to do just that as rubble began going right back into place.
For the next twenty minutes that is what Rias, Akeno, and Seek did, meanwhile, Xenovia left with a thank you, carrying Irina, the holy swords, and a massive feeling of emptiness.
When we got home, Rias got started on Kiba's punishment, and I went into an empty room to talk with Tiamat.
