Usagi waited patiently in the lobby of the school, her heart fluttering with anticipation as she adjusted her skirt and glanced around. It felt like an eternity since she last saw Setsuna Meioh, the guardian of time and space, and the weight of unsaid questions lingered in her mind like a storm cloud.

Hotaru, with her bright eyes and gentle demeanor, spotted Usagi and approached her, flanked by her friends, their laughter echoing like a melody through the bustling lobby.

"Usagi-san..," she called, her voice breaking through Usagi's thoughts. Usagi looked up and smiled, her expression brightening as she recognized the familiar face. "Hotaru-chan! It's been a while! Who's with you?"

"My friends!" Hotaru stated happily, her enthusiasm infectious. "This is Kana-chan and Koharu-chan!"

As Hotaru joyfully introduced her friends to Usagi, the air filled with the sound of giggles and chatter. Usagi couldn't help but feel a warmth in her heart. She knelt down to their level, engaging them in playful conversation, sharing stories about their adventures. The laughter wrapped around them like a comforting blanket until Hotaru, her expression shifting to one of curiosity, asked, "What are you doing here, Usagi-san?"

Usagi hesitated, the weight of the question pressing down on her. She gazed at Hotaru, who was always perceptive beyond her years, sensing the deeper implications behind her innocent inquiry. "I need to talk with Setsuna-san," she finally replied, her voice steady despite the unease in her chest.

"Is it about the future? There's no need to worry. We are here." Usagi was taken aback by the child's profound words. Hotaru, despite her youth, had a wisdom that often surprised her. "Hotaru-chan, I know you understand me. I know you are all here by my side. I am worried just as you were worried. That's why I'm trying to figure out things."

"B-but..," Hotaru began, her brow furrowing in thought, but before she could voice her concerns, Setsuna's voice cut through the air, firm yet soothing. "That's enough, Hotaru. I will explain everything to the Princess. Go and play with your friends."

Reluctantly, Hotaru stood, casting a lingering glance back at Usagi before joining Kana and Koharu, their laughter fading as they wandered off. Setsuna motioned for Usagi to follow her into her office, a serene space adorned with clocks and star maps, an environment that felt both familiar and distant.

"Welcome, Princess. What do you want to drink?" Setsuna asked, her tone gentle but probing.

"No, it's alright. I am fine. I came here to ask some things..," Usagi hesitated, her heart racing as she knew the gravity of her questions. However, Setsuna was perceptive, reading the unspoken words in her eyes.

"Is it about the future?" she asked, and Usagi nodded quietly, the weight of her concerns evident in her posture. "Well, it's true. The future that we all have seen should have been here by now. But things happen. Time is constant. It can change, anytime."

"But, Pluto. If this doesn't happen now that I'm turning 22, then when? We all know that I will awaken Juban as the future city and Chibiusa will be born." Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, the uncertainty gnawing at her.

"Princess, seeing the future doesn't dictate that you have to follow it and doesn't mean that it's your permanent fate. The flow of time can change. The future is not something we enter in a space-door. The future is something we create on our own," Setsuna explained, her voice calm yet filled with the weight of knowledge. She took Usagi's hand and squeezed it reassuringly, grounding her in the moment.

"You already created a different timeline of a future Crystal Tokyo. From Black Moon to Chaos. You have the power to shape what lies ahead," Setsuna continued, her eyes locking onto Usagi's with an intensity that resonated deep within.

"Believe in yourself, your light of hope. Everything will be alright," Setsuna motivated Usagi, instilling a sense of determination within her. The soft tick of the clocks around them provided a steady rhythm, a reminder that time, while often unpredictable, was also a canvas awaiting their brushstrokes.

As Usagi absorbed Setsuna's words, she felt a flicker of hope igniting within her. The future may be uncertain, but she was not alone in facing it. With her friends, her guardians, and the unwavering support of Setsuna, she realized that the path ahead was not just a destination but a journey—a journey they would walk together, side by side, as they faced the myriad challenges that awaited them. And with that thought, a smile crept across her face, illuminating her spirit with renewed strength and resolve.

She went home after talking with Setsuna. It eases her mind and soul. It brightens her gloomy aura of worry and discomfort. Her worries forgot her beliefs about the future. She looked up into the sky.

"Chibiusa, it seems that it may take a long time before we meet again."

Suddenly, her brooch glowed brightly. She looked around, everyone's panicking. She closed her eyes and concentrated and felt where the evil energy was coming from.

"I see it! Setsuna-san! Hotaru-chan!" she took out her communicator and alerted everyone. "Everyone! There is an enemy attack! Go to Juban Municipal Primary School! I'm on my way!"

Everyone was alerted and tried to stop Usagi. But Usagi is Usagi. No one can stop her. She raised her hands and shouted. "Silver Moon Crystal Power Make Up!" and she transformed into Eternal Sailor Moon once again after a long year of peace.

When she finally reached the school. She saw Eternal Sailor Pluto and Saturn, transformed. Fighting an enemy. "Pluto! Saturn!"

The two guardians looked at her. "Eternal Sailor Moon!" they shouted in unison.

"Let's show this enemy what we're made of!" she rallied, her heart pounding with renewed purpose. She felt the power of the Silver Crystal awakening within her, a radiant force that illuminated the night with its brilliance.

With a newfound clarity, she focused her energy, feeling the warmth of her friends' spirits bolstering her own. "In the name of the Moon, I will protect those I love!" she shouted, her voice echoing with the strength of the ages.

The enemy, realizing they had underestimated the strength of their united front, recoiled in fear. "You think you can defeat me?" it sneered, but there was a tremor of uncertainty in its voice.

"Watch us!" Usagi proclaimed, raising her hand high, the Silver Crystal glowing brighter than ever before. "Eternal Tiare Power!" she cried, launching her tiara toward the enemy with a fierce determination. The tiara glimmered with radiant energy, slicing through the air as it sped toward its target, an embodiment of her will to protect.

Sailor Pluto and Saturn joined forces beside her, channelling their powers into the attack. "Chronos Typhoon!" Pluto shouted, summoning the forces of time, while Saturn added, "Silence Glaive Surprise!" The amalgamation of their magic created a powerful vortex of light and energy that enveloped the enemy, overwhelming it with their combined strength.

In that moment, Usagi felt a profound connection with her friends, a reminder that they were never truly alone in their battles. Together, they could conquer any darkness that threatened their existence.

The enemy laughed. Eternal Sailor Moon was taken aback because the laughter seems familiar and she knows that she heard it somewhere and it seems that this enemy is mocking them.

"You can't defeat us!" The enemy started and prepared for an attack.

The enemy throws a dark ball of evil energy. Eternal Sailor Pluto used her powers to defend themselves. "Dead Scream!"

"Is that all you can do!" The enemy boasted and threw another attack but this time it was thunderbolts of energy. Eternal Sailor Saturn stood and levelled the enemies attacked.

"Silence Wall!" Eternal Sailor Saturn shielded both guardians by creating an invisible barrier. It protected them. The enemy gritted its teeth. It summoned a ball of dark evil energy and thunderbolts and threw it to their Princess.

"Princess!" the two guardians shouted. Eternal Sailor Moon in a state of shock can't move. Everything that surrounds her seems to have stopped and all she could hear was a voice that echoed in her own mind. "Sooner! Future Neo Queen Serenity!"

A vision of the future she once saw flashed in her mind. The same pain she experienced when fighting Galaxia. The pain of losing someone right in front of her eyes. A vision of Chibi-usa was killed.

"Nooo!!!" she screamed. It created supersonic waves that faltered the enemies attacked.

"Princess!" The four inner guardians finally came. They channelled their powers together and blasted an attack. "Sailor Planet Attack!"

The enemy disappeared into thin air. The inner guardians went near their Princess.

"Usagi-chan! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Eternal Sailor Mercury asked in her worried tone.

"Mamo-chan..," The last word she spoke before finally letting the darkness consume her.

As the darkness enveloped her, a haunting silence filled the air, punctuated only by the distant sounds of chaos and fear echoing from the schoolyard. Usagi Tsukino, the eternal guardian known as Sailor Moon, felt the weight of her responsibilities pressing down on her like an unyielding storm cloud. Memories of laughter and camaraderie with her friends flashed through her mind, mingling with the dreadful vision of a future that held nothing but despair for those she loved.

In that moment of vulnerability, as her consciousness began to slip away, images of her beloved Mamoru, Chibiusa and her friends flooded her thoughts. She recalled the warmth of his embrace, the way her friend's gentle smile and support could light up the darkest of her days, and the promises they had made to each other, dreams of a future filled with love and happiness. The thought of losing them, of being unable to protect their world from the encroaching shadows, ignited a flicker of defiance within her heart, a spark that refused to be extinguished even in the face of overwhelming darkness.
