Weeks have passed. Usagi and her friends fought enemies three to five times in a span of two weeks. It frustrated her so much. The enemy kept attacking people randomly, from infants to seniors; there was no exemption to their evilness. Each encounter left her feeling more drained than the last, and the weight of their relentless assaults weighed heavily on her heart.
"Blood-Moon?" Eternal Sailor Moon murmured as she faced the latest foe. The enemy was a possessed woman, her eyes glowing with malevolence as she launched jagged stones at the Sailor Guardians. They whirled and dodged, their movements synchronized, but it was clear that the woman was fueled by a dark power that made her all the more dangerous. Eternal Sailor Moon stood confidently, determination shining in her eyes, and summoned her purification power with a fierce resolve. "Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!"
A bolt of shimmering white feathers erupted from her eternal tiare, cascading through the air and engulfing the possessed woman. The dark energy that had ensnared her began to dissipate, replaced by a glimmer of clarity. The stones, once manifestations of her malevolence, crumbled into harmless dust as the woman blinked in confusion, her mind slowly returning to her.
"Our enemy is getting on my nerves," Eternal Sailor Jupiter exclaimed, her frustration palpable as she clenched her fists tightly. The tension in the air was thick, and her resolve only intensified with every battle fought.
"Blood-Moon, we must examine these stones to see if we can gather some information," Eternal Sailor Mercury suggested, her analytical mind working swiftly to decipher the mystery behind the attacks. Each encounter revealed more questions than answers, leaving them in a constant state of unease.
That was the last time they encountered the enigmatic enemy, and now two days had passed in unsettling silence. No enemies appeared, as if they had retreated into the shadows, biding their time. The relentless rain poured down, casting a gloomy pall over the city. Usagi found herself outside, braving the downpour as she made her way to the grocery store. The rhythmic patter of raindrops against the pavement matched her own racing thoughts.
As she was on her way home, engrossed in her own worries, she collided with someone unexpectedly. "Ah! I'm sorry, I wasn't looking in my way," she stammered, stepping back to regain her balance.
"That's okay." The woman stood up, brushing off her clothes with an air of nonchalance. Usagi looked at her more closely, and a sense of déjà vu washed over her. She felt an inexplicable connection, her heart racing for reasons she couldn't quite grasp. "H-have we met before?" she ventured, curiosity mingled with apprehension.
The woman gazed at her, and a shiver ran down Usagi's spine. Her eyes were like daggers, cold and emotionless, piercing through the gloom. They were a deep hue of red, reminiscent of blood, and filled with a malevolence that made Usagi tremble deep inside.
"Oh, you don't remember me?" The woman's voice dripped with a sinister sweetness as she scrutinized the confused and alarmed Usagi. A smirk crept across her lips, revealing the sharpness of her intent. "Neo Queen Serenity."
Usagi's shocked expression was mirrored by the thunderous roar of the storm above, and the world around her seemed to tilt. Memories of a dream she had once replayed in her mind surged forth, filling her with dread. She instinctively stepped backward, her heart pounding. "You are an enemy!" she declared, her voice steadier than she felt.
The woman's smirk morphed into a twisted grin, and in an instant, she unleashed a torrent of dark energy, sending it hurtling toward Usagi. Panic surged through her, but even in her fear, the silver moon crystal illuminated, enveloping her in a protective glow. The blast collided with the protective barrier, reverberating through the air and sending shockwaves that shattered the tranquility of the area.
Usagi clenched her fists, her resolve solidifying as she sprinted toward an open ground, the rain mixing with the adrenaline coursing through her veins. In a flash, she transformed into her sailor form—her iconic outfit shimmering with newfound power.
"You think you can beat me? You are powerless! Neo Queen Serenity!" the woman taunted, her voice echoing ominously in the downpour.
But Usagi was not one to back down. "I won't let you harm anyone else!" she shouted defiantly, the light of her spirit igniting like a beacon against the darkness. With a fierce determination, she prepared to confront the evil that stood before her, ready to defend her friends, her city, and the hope that still flickered amidst the chaos. The battle was just beginning, and she would not falter.
Eternal Sailor Moon kept dodging the enemy's attack. The woman laughed, "Is that all you can do? Dodge?! Pathetic Queen!"
She channelled her power and revealed an enemy—a humanoid creature with sharp, glinting eyes and a malicious grin. "Pixia, kill her."
Suddenly, a bright flash of light caught her attention, and she turned to see a small, mischievous pixie fluttering in the air. This was no ordinary pixie; its wings shimmered with an eerie luminescence, casting an unsettling glow across the battlefield. The pixie cackled wickedly as it unleashed a swarm of glowing orbs towards innocent bystanders, causing chaos and confusion. Screams echoed around them as people scrambled for cover, their faces painted with fear and disbelief.
The pixie monster giggled tauntingly as it danced around Eternal Sailor Moon, its tiny wings fluttering and sipping her energy, as if poisoning her very essence. Each flick of its wrist sent waves of dark energy spiralling towards her, sapping her strength and clouding her mind with despair. Determined not to succumb, Eternal Sailor Moon tried to leap into action, summoning her Eternal Tiare to strike back. With a swift movement, she sent her magical Eternal Tiare into the air, a beacon of hope that glimmered against the darkness. She held her staff firmly, aiming it at the approaching enemy, her heart pounding with a mix of fear and determination.
But before she could unleash her power, the woman attacked her from behind, a sudden, brutal force that made Eternal Sailor Moon stumble to the ground. Pain shot through her body as she tried to regain her footing, her breath hitching in her throat. The enemy evilly grinned at her, relishing in her moment of weakness.
She fought to stand, her knees shaking beneath her. "Pixia!" the woman called, and the pixie, emboldened by its master's command, was fast enough to summon its sinister power to attack her. Eternal Sailor Moon closed her eyes, steeling herself for the onslaught she knew was coming, her heart racing as she waited for the enemy's attack.
When she opened her eyes, it shocked her. Her breath caught in her throat as a familiar silhouette emerged in front of her, cutting through the chaos like a ray of light piercing the dark clouds of a storm. Dressed in his iconic tuxedo and cape, Tuxedo Mask stood there, his presence commanding and reassuring, his eyes glimmering like stars against the fading night.
"Usa…" he called, his voice soft yet firm, weaving through the tumult like a soothing balm.
With a gasp, Eternal Sailor Moon rushed toward him, her heart soaring at the sight of him. "Mamo-chan!" she exclaimed, flinging herself into his arms, feeling the familiar warmth envelop her. It was as if the weight of her enemies and the darkness surrounding her melted away in that moment, leaving only the two of them suspended in time.
"I've missed you," he whispered, holding her tightly, as if afraid she might disappear again. "It's been too long."
"I waited patiently for you," Sailor Moon confessed with teary eyes, her voice muffled against his shoulder. "Even if it felt like an eternity without you. I thought I would have to face this battle alone."
Tuxedo Mask pulled back slightly, his hands cradling her face, his gaze piercing into her soul. "You are never alone, Usagi. I am always with you."
Breaking the embrace, Tuxedo Mask cupped her face in his gloved hands, looking deep into her eyes. "I am here now. No one can hurt you." His voice was steady, a calming anchor amidst the chaos swirling around them. He could feel the tension in her body, the way her breath hitched as the weight of their recent battle bore down on her.
He looked at the enemy, his eyes narrowing. "Who are you?!"
The enemy laughed at his angered remarks, a high-pitched, chilling sound that echoed through the clearing, sending a shiver down the spines of the Sailor Guardians. "What's so funny?!" Eternal Sailor Jupiter demanded, her fists clenched in determination, ready to unleash her power at a moment's notice.
Usagi didn't notice that everyone was here. Except for the outer guardians, she knew that they were together and they were near. "Everyone...," she murmured in a low tone, her voice barely above a whisper, yet it carried the weight of her relief.
The Sailor Guardians looked at her, their expressions a mix of concern and unwavering support. Even in the absence of words, they understood the profound joy that radiated from her, the warmth of friendship that was rekindled in the face of adversity. They stood united, a formidable force against the darkness that threatened to engulf them.
"I am Alcyone, a harbinger from the Blood-Moon," the enemy declared dramatically, her voice laced with malice and confidence.
"A-alcyone?" Minako echoed, her bright eyes wide with a mix of surprise and recognition. The name felt heavy in the air, an omen of the challenges that lay ahead.
"You don't know me, but I know each and every one of you," Alcyone continued, her gaze piercing through the camaraderie that surrounded the Sailor Guardians, as if she could see their deepest fears and insecurities.
Alcyone's eyes locked onto Eternal Sailor Moon with a predatory intensity. "Soon, Sailor Moon. I will make you miserable." Her tone dripped with venomous glee as she looked at the pixie monster beside her. "Pixia, finish them off for me." With that, she vanished into nowhere, leaving a heavy silence in her wake.
The pixie monster, its eyes gleaming with mischief, sprang into action, its tiny form darting around with blinding speed. Eternal Sailor Mars stood firm in front of her friends, her fiery spirit igniting. "Mars! Flame Sniper!" she yelled, releasing a blazing arrow that whizzed through the air, but the pixie proved too swift, evading the attack with ease.
"Leave it to me!" Eternal Sailor Jupiter called out, her confidence unwavering. "Jupiter! Oak Revolution!" She summoned her powers, a burst of energy swirling around her as she directed a powerful attack towards the pixie.
"Don't kill it!" Eternal Sailor Venus interjected suddenly, her voice slicing through the tension like a knife. Everyone turned to her in shock, their expressions a mixture of confusion and disbelief. "Just hurt it, but don't kill it."
"But Venus...," Eternal Sailor Mars began, her brow furrowed with concern.
"She's right, Mars! Jupiter!" Eternal Sailor Mercury chimed in, her analytical mind racing. "We can use the Pixie to deepen our knowledge about the enemy." As she spoke, she activated her computer, rapidly typing commands and gathering data as she reached out to Luna and Artemis for assistance.
"Luna, lock this pixie in a hologram case and use the same with the Malefic Black Crystal once we've weakened it..," Eternal Sailor Venus demanded, her voice firm with resolve.
"Roger!" Artemis responded, his voice crackling through their communication devices, ready to assist in any way he could.
With their strategy set, the Sailor Guardians braced themselves, each one channeling their powers with precision as they faced the oncoming assault from the pixie monster. Together, their combined forces began to weaken it, energy crackling in the air as they pushed back against the creature's relentless attacks.
Eternal Sailor Venus took the opportunity to snatch the hologram case, her eyes focused and determined. She could feel the weight of their mission pressing down on her, but she was resolute, knowing that capturing the pixie could provide them with the insights they desperately needed.
As the dust settled and the battle raged on around them, everyone fought valiantly, but amidst the chaos, Eternal Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask remained.
"Sailor Moon...," Tuxedo Mask called softly, his voice breaking through the noise like a gentle caress. She turned to him, her expression a mix of gratitude and vulnerability. In that moment, she clung to him tightly, the weight of their struggles momentarily lifting. Tears that she had valiantly held back streamed down her face, unburdening her heart as she fell into his arms.
Tuxedo Mask held her close, wrapping her in the warmth of his presence, his strong embrace making her feel safe. "It's okay," he whispered, brushing a tender thumb against her cheek. "We're going to get through this together. I promise." The world around them may have been filled with chaos, but in that moment, all that mattered was the unbreakable bond they shared, a light that even the darkest forces could not extinguish.
