Sorry it's been so long, but I am determined to finish this storying over the next few days. Thank you all for sticking with me all these years. This is just a hobby for me and I know I'm not the best or most consistent so every read and reader truly means everything to me. Thank you. 3

Damon held the baby close as Stefan advanced to Elena. He looked down at the crying preemie as he rocked her closely, to his chest. Tears of frustration fell freely, down his face. He glanced up and watched Elena back closer and closer to the edge of the roof. Elena held Bonnie's weak body in a tight hug.

Bonnie fought to stay conscious. She was tired and struggled to keep her eyes open until she saw the look in Jo's eyes as she approached Damon from behind.

Damon wondered to himself, How was he going to save her? Then his ears attuned to Bonnie's words. Damon raced out of the way as Jo snuck up behind him. She looked like a mad woman as she lounged for him. Sadly it wasn't him she was after.

Damon had no earthly idea what was going on and why the world had just gone mad. He knew Elena was at the center of it, but he hoped Bonnie wouldn't travel there to stop her. "Forever the martyr," he hissed to himself as he raced to the woods.

Not only was, Bonnie, in an unknown dangerous situation, but a hoard of sociopathic supernatural creatures (mostly witches) wanted to kill them all. Damon cautiously raced through the greenery as he skimmed the thicket for the love of his life.

Bonnie was his best friend, his partner in crime. He put her in danger, all because he was a sore loser. He deserved to lose all the good things he somehow had acquired. Yet, Stefan was right. Bonnie deserved whatever she wanted even if it was him. That was why he was going to fight til his dying breath for her. She deserved him at his best. She deserved a sacrifice in her name as she had done so many times for him before.

Damon was going to plunge head first into the abyss, because that's what the woman he loved deserved. It was the least he could do. His life was a meaningless price to pay for her and Sarah.

He relaxed, when he heard the steady rhythm of Bonnie's heart. He was almost to her when the sound stopped. His pace dramatically slowed when he reached the small clearing and nothing was there.

Damon's eyes darted around tree to tree, each of them looking the same. Bonnie was just there. She was alive. He walked aimlessly as his brain came back online. He raced through the clearing looking for Bonnie and Elena.

Bonnie stood in the woods not sure what direction to head in. She decided to feel for any Bennett magic in the area. She felt it like an overwhelming compulsion leading her southeast of where she stood, Bennett magic was known for its power and potency.

Within fifteen minutes she could hear Elena's, laughs. "There's nothing you can do to stop what's already started. You wanted my life. Now you got it. We'll be intertwined until the end of time.

"You ever wondered why your life on the Otherside seemed so unfair. I knew I could control that world. I knew I could bend it in my favor. That would be my compensation for all you cost me. Yet, still you managed to take everything meaningful from me." Elena let out a dark laugh. She was unrecognizable. Her black eyes narrowed into a piercing glare, the only bit of color, was a red glow, that emanated from the center of her eyes. Her skin had grown pale and looked as hard as stone. With each move she made it seem to crack. Her lips were scaly and fish like. She was desiccating rapidly.

Bonnie knew then that sending Elena back was a mistake. If she goes back she would disturb the events that align this reality with the one she crossed over from. She had found a way to warp time and space. She created a rupture in time, one that transcended realities. That was Elena's big fuck you back to us all, Bonnie thought. Abby had the right contingency plan, however, Bonnie needed to ensure she kept Elena from recycling to another timeline, another reality.

Elena smirked. "The look of doom on your face tells me you finally realized, no matter what you do, I get Stefan. However, you, Bonnie, you get nothing. You get no love, no one, no daughter, no Damon. I told you. I'd take it all from you. No matter what you try."

Bonnie grabbed the water bottle. She couldn't send her back, but she could unlink them and ensure Elena would never freely roam the world. Bonnie poured the blood down Elena's throat and chanted the spell to remove their bond.

Bonnie then use her hearts vibration to connect to the vibration of life, space, and time. Bonnie transported Elena to a midpoint in the Transantarctic Mountains.

Bonnie stood above where she masterfully discarded her greatest foe disguised as her best friend-her sister. Bonnie let the harsh arctic air beat against her face. She steadied her heartbeat and returned to the woods, where she watched as Damon raced her way. A smile slowly etched across her face as she ran to him. They met halfway, and she jumped into his arms.

His lips crashed against hers and his tongue dueled her own. She panted against his feverish pursuit. Damon pushed her against a near by tree and looked in her eyes. She did it. He knew she could-would, but their nightmare was finally over. Elena would never harm them again. However, she had brought about a wrath neither had knew existed. Thanks to the shelter and protecting of their parents.

Damon had to return and help them fight. He let Bonnie catch her breath before he told her about the current crisis they were in.

"Hold my hand," Bonnie said as she reached out for Damon.

He stared at her, "There is no fucking way you are using any more magic right now!" he yelled at her.

Bonnie grabbed him and soon they stood next to their father's before the Bennett residence. "Daddy," Bonnie exclaimed as she held him tight.

Damon nodded a greeting at his father and he was acknowledged with the same. "What do we do?" Damon asked.

"Kill these bastards," Mason yelled.

Sheila's house has always been warded and a safe haven. With the breach Abby and Qetsiyah reinforced Sheila's work expelling anyone that wished them harm. The Bennetthouse was where Tyler and Caroline were recovering. Lucy, Abby, and Qetsiyah worked to nullify the Keepers' magic. They also worked to enhance the wards of the house to extend to Bennett protectors.

Bonnie joined her mother in chanted after her as they held each other's hands. She knew they were going to win this, she just needed to hold on a little longer. She was strong enough. You're a Bennett witch, you will not let evil take this town." She told herself.

Damon took down a male witch that had his father on the ground by the throat. Damon snapped his neck and tossed his body to the side. He reached for his father's hand when he felt a burning pain shoot threw his back and it slowly advanced to his heart.

Giuseppe quickly reacted, pulling his son down to the ground with him and kicking the other stake out of John Gilbert's hands. Damon struggled to catch his breath. "Werewolf," Damon panted before he blacked out.

Giuseppe studied his son as his eyes flashed open and shut. His eyes were rolling to the back of his head. His son was fading fast. "Nora!" he called out to the dark haired heretic.

Nora ran over to them. She placed her arms above Damon's abdomen her palms faced his wound. "Werewolf venom with an acceleration curse. If we attempt magic it could speed the effects more and kill him."

"Nora, find Zach and take him to Lilly," Giuseppe started.

"She is still trying to ward Esther and Julian away with Mary Louise and Jonas," she informed him.

Giuseppe looked over as the Bennett witches chanted. "Get Matt Donovan and take Damon into Sheila's home. Call Sheila let her know there is an emergency."
