Finally reaching his destination, Naruto stepped forward with wide urgent eyes searching the place. He didn't need to search anyways because as he'd fearfully suspected, she was indeed the new sacrifice of the execution ground.
He looked her over, his heart pounding with every step his blood chose to boil. There were bruises on her fine face but there were no cuts. Her clothes looked like what the humans wore in their world. They must've dragged her from there. Two big strong faced guards at her sides held her by the upper arms with a fierce grip. There were three more guards standing with them, infront of the staves rooted on the execution ground.
There was a Gorgon who stood out from among them. He seemed to be the interrogator. Wait...
"Neji?" It was that always-serious faced boring Gorgon.
Kyu and Mori got to his side as the crowd began talking and all attention was drawn to Naruto.
The blonde Alpha watched as his mate turned to look at him and when they'd made eye contact, she dropped her head. She must not want him to see her in that state. Even so... He clenched his hands angrily as he frowned deeply at his mate's arms being gripped harshly. It infuriated him and as he clenched his hands further, veins popping out on them.
Kyu and Mori seemed to notice but they kept quiet and studied the guards about, concocting a plan, whatsoever, that could overpower their enemies if ever the Alpha was going to do something daring, which that could possibly start a kingdom feud.
"Do you creatures not have any way to treat your females?" Naruto said, his tone deathly serious. He glared at Neji. "Even if that female was your Lady?"
Neji narrowed his eyes at the blonde alpha with an intense glare of his own. "Why should a lowly mistake of a lycan be interested in the rules of a kingdom that is not his?"
Suddenly, a big royal paladin pulled to a stop behind Neji. The royal guards surrounding the paladin opened the doors and out came the leader of the Gorgons, Hiashi Hyuga.
The crowd moved as they cried out in astonishment, bowing their whole being to the earth, excluding Naruto and his men. They alone watched as Hiashi walked graciously with an outstanding dominance, to the execution ground where his daughter was being held infront of the staves.
His expression was unreadable. Naruto didn't know what was in his mind but his eyes were cold, even as they stared at his daughter. They were cold and ruthless. Naruto gritted his teeth. This fool.
Hiashi glanced at him before looking at Neji questioningly. "Neji."
His eyes facing the dirt of the earth, Neji bowed again before standing to his feet and facing the leader. "Yes, my lord."
Hiashi looked away from him without saying a word but as if Neji knew what he wanted, he turned to Naruto with a deadly glare. "What do you think you're doing lowly creature? You must've not been taught anything decent but in other kingdoms, you show utter respect to the leaders." He sneered, looking down at him through his nose.
"He must not know our lord is an Alpha?" Mori whispered to Kyu, eyeing the guards.
"Even if he did know, the situation doesn't change." Kyu replied. "We just have to be cautious. There are more of these beasts gathered than there are children here."
"I do not show respect to people who don't respect their own." Naruto replied, holding Neji's glare.
Irritated and vexed, Neji lowered his voice threateningly. "Begone before you are mercilessly dealt with. Heed my warning, swine. I do not want to bother myself with the likes of you. You have no business here."
He stood his ground, matching Neji's bloodlust. "I am Naruto Uzumaki, Alpha of the blood moon pack. My mate is whom you are manhandling like that." His glare intensified. "This is my business."
