Luz pulled away from the stove and speed outside, leaving everyone behind as she flew into the air to see what was coming to the house! Whatever it was, was knocking down the trees as it got closer.

"Kid, what do you see?!" Eda shouted from the ground as everyone rushed out of the house.

"Something is carving a path right to the house!" Luz said as she flew back to the ground.

"Alright, get ready!" Eda said.

Eda pulled out her staff, Amity drew a spell circle, King hissed in anticipation, and Luz cracked her knuckles. A giant Abomination machine, came out of the woods. It looked like some sort of battle suit with broad shoulders, golden armor, and a giant arm cannon for the right hand.

"Damn it, dad." Amity said.

"I had a feeling your dad was behind this but I didn't think he'd make them THIS big." Eda commented.

"He just needed the right incentive." A voice said as the suit looked down to show the pilot. "Like our kidnapped daughter!"

"Mom?!" Amity said in shock.

"Don't worry Amity, I'll get you home soon." Odalia said.

"And if she doesn't want to go back with you?" Luz asked with a glare.

"You don't have a say in that since you took her to begin with!" Odalia said to Luz.

"To protect her from your abuse!" Luz replied.

Odalia growled and raised the machine's hand.

"I have had just about enough of you, so you'll be the first one I swat before taking my daughter home!" Odalia said as she made the hand into a fist and swung it at Luz, who stepped forward without fear.

The hand slammed down onto Luz, who just stood there with a blank expression. Odalia removed the fist and her smile disappeared when Luz was still standing there.

"Are you done?"

"Wha?" Odalia said before shaking her head. "I must've missed. Let's try something else!"

Using the controls, Odalia aimed the arm cannon at Luz and charged up a magic blast.

'Okay, now that will hurt me.' Luz thought.

Luz quickly put her arms up to block as a magic blast was fired at her, pushing her back as Eda moved Amity and King out of the way! Luz was knocked to the ground and felt pain in her body.

"Ouch…the only other thing that can hurt me, pure magic." Luz said as Odalia laughed in her mech.

"Serves you right, human." Odalia said before looking to Amity as Eda and King stood in front of her.

"I'm going to tell you this one time." Eda said, "Get off my property!"

"I'll leave when you give me my daughter!" Odalia shouted to her.

"I'm not going anywhere with you!" Amity shouted at her.

"Yeah!" King shouted before throwing a rock at the mech suit!

"Fine, then I'll just destroy you and take her back with me!"

Odalia reeled the fist of the battle suit back and slammed it down, clashing with Eda as she spun her staff to create a shield to bounce her back!

"You think that will work!? I'm the most powerful witch on the boiling isles!" Eda shouted to Odalia.

"You won't be when I bring you to the Emperor, like the cowering wild hag you are." Odalia said.

"Cowering?!" Eda shouted.

She blitzed around and stuck Odalia from behind, knocking her forward before Eda UPPERCUT her into some trees!

"I don't know which comment I like least, the old or the cowering!" Eda said.

"The old one!" King decided for her.

"Whoa, she's really strong." Amity said in awe.

"Come on, let's kick her ass!" Eda said.

Amity nodded quickly to the idea, VERY happy about the idea of beating up her terrible mother.

"Oh, you think you can take me while I have this?" Odalia asked, "Amusing."

"How's this for amazing?" Eda shouted as she drew a large spell circle and created a large Hooty made of stone!

"Hooo!" It let out as Hooty looked shock.

"WHA?!" Hooty let out.

"Child's play!" Odalia said as she blasts the stone Hooty.

Odalia threw a fist on the ground, making it shake. They were all knocked to the ground and Odalia grabbed Amity.

"Now... why don't we-"

A fast blur flew through the glass of the machine and took Odalia out of it. Odalia was knocked to the ground and looked up, seeing Luz.

"Okay, now I'm mad."

Luz turned around and used her heat vision to cut the arm off, releasing Amity and flying to catch her before landing before her.

"You okay?" Luz asked, setting Amity in the ground.

"F-Fine." Amity said with a blush, having been held like a princess.

"Good, let me handle this." Luz said.

Luz turned back to the battle suit and frowned, her eyes glowing red before she blitzed off to destroy it a high speed.

Odalia watched in horror as her unbeatable weapon was destroyed with a single hit. Luz was floating in front of her before she stopped flying and landed on the ground.

"Ready to give up?" Luz asked.

"Please say no, I want to see Luz smack you around some more." Eda said as she walked up behind Odalia with King.

"I... I'm not afraid of you... H-h-human." Odalia said.

"You haven't figured it out yet, have you?" Luz asked, "I'm not Human."

"What?!" Odalia asked in shock. "The-Then what are you?!

"I'm HALF human." Luz said as she moved and grabbed her by the neck, holding Odalia up in the air with ease. "And the other half, is something WAY more powerful than anything weapon you could ever use."

"And if you ever try and mess with someone I care about again, I promise, you will get to see that power first hand."

"B-B-B-But-" Odalia stuttered.

"No BUTTS except yours away from THIS HOUSE!" Luz screamed as her eyes flashed red, "Otherwise I'm going to fry your ass. After all, it's not a small target."

"Burn!" King shouted as he, Eda, and Amity laughed at the joke.

"Amity!" Odalia shouted at her.

"Don't. You know your ass is big." Luz said as she picked up Odalia and pushed her into her feet. "Now LEAVE!"

Odalia looked at Luz before running.

'I'll remember this, half-ling.' Odalia thought as she left in bitter defeat.

"Alright, so, what do we do with the giant thing currently sitting in my front lawn?" Eda asked.

"Do you even need to ask? I'll just throw it back to her house or throw it in the boiling ocean." Luz said before she heard ticking. "Please tell me everyone hears that ticking."

"Ticking?" King said before noticing it, looking at the battle suit. "It is ticking!"

"It's gonna blow!" Eda shouted.

"Alright, I'll be back." Luz said, quickly flying the giant machine into space.

Luz didn't know the blast radius of the explosion so it was safer to throw it into outer space, plus she's always wanted to do this just like her dad! Once she was a few lightyears past the atmosphere, she threw it, watching it explode.

"Okay, well that was fun." Luz said.

Luz turned back to the Boiling Planet, the name she gave for the demon realm's planet, and flew back to the owl house.

"Alright, that's enough excitement for one day."

"Agreed." Amity said with a large sigh. "Though I worry when my mother's next attack will be if she doesn't give up."

"Don't worry, I'll be ready." Luz said.

"You better be. I'm not insured, hoot." Hooty said as everyone returned to the house.

"You have insurance here?" Luz asked.

"Duh, we're a civilized group of people." Eda said, "Now, I have to go murder our dinner."

Luz stared at Eda for a moment, seeing that she was serious as she left with her staff in hand.

'I don't think I will understand this world soon enough.' Luz thought as she went into the house to relax.

"So, what do you want to do?" Amity asked.

"Aside from getting you to school?" Luz asked, reminding Amity she still had school.

"Ugh, please no school." Amity said to her.

"You still have to go."

"I could just call in sick. After what just happened, I'm already drained." Amity said with a whine.

"Amity, either you go to school or I carry to school." Luz said sternly.

"You can't make me." Amity said.

Luz gave her a look.

"Amity, I just carried a three ton bomb into space and threw it." Luz said, "I can lift a 90 pound girl across town."

"Hey, I'm not 90 pounds!" Amity said before Luz gave her a look. "….I'm 85."

Amity grumbled as she turned away before Luz picked her up.

"Do you need pick up you books from home or are they all at school?" Luz asked Amity.

"….School." Amity said to her.

"Okay then, hold on."

Luz walked out the door again and flew into the sky, flying Amity to her school as Luz gazed down for it.

'Alright, I should remember the way.' Luz thought, 'There it is.'

Luz found the school and flew down to see Amity down before the school.

"Okay, I'll see you after school if you need me to com pick you up. Figuratively and literally." Luz said with a small giggle.

Amity blushed and waved Luz goodbye. The half human flew back to the Owl House as Amity watched her go, before someone got her attention.

"Amity, you know Luz?" Willow asked as she and Gus stood behind the Blight girl.

"Yes, she helped me."

"You mean after the witches duel?" Gus asked, having seen the duel with Willow.

"Yeah….let's just say my mother wasn't too "thrilled" I lost." Amity said before moving past them, not wanting to talk about it anymore.

"I don't trust her." Willow said.

"But Luz seems to trust her and helped her. I wonder why." Gus said as he rubbed his chin.

"We'll have to ask Luz when we see her." Willow said.

Okay, I have a few things to say. 1, I would like to get back to posting regularly sometime next week. It was going to be this week but... that leads me into my next point. 2, I got a promotion! Finally after all the bad luck that's happened to my family, something nice happened! 3, has anyone experienced the contents of a chapter being deleted and replaced with the words "Application Error" when trying to put them in the Doc Manager?
