After taking a short drive to clear his head he went to the offices when he walked in he saw his father and brother talking when he slammed the door. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME" he shouted getting Thorne and Eric's attention, "Ridge what's going on" Eric questioned.

His anger taking hold again"Hmmm you saw Steffy and the kids" Thorne says taking their father by surprise "What Steffy is here she has kids Ridge what's going on " he asked. Looking between his sons "I tried telling you without being another person she couldn't trust I begged you Ridge I told you that it was family related and it was important that you come.

That it was now or live to regret it and what did you tell me huh you can't even say it can you because mom showed up and she held the wedding up in hopes that you were coming.

And Steffy ,she waited , she waited for you to show and you didn't . I could just remember the look on her face when you didn't said it all for me. I couldn't and wouldn't turn my back on her. "No Ridge you let her believe that by prioritizing everyone else and never giving her the benefit of the doubt you did that. She was broken, Ridge broken and then Monty came into her life and he has been her anchor there were some many times that she wanted to call you and probably did.

And never had the courage to say anything because what could she say but I think after a while she didn't see you trying to reach out either she just stopped hoping and wishing that you were gonna come for her.

As Ridge glared at his brother in disbelief " Ridge go talk to her" Eric adds just when Brooke comes in. "Ridge, are you here? I need to talk to you. It's important" she says as Thorne looks at him. "If you wanna know they are staying at this house in the Hollywood Hills it's now or never Ridge.

Dad I'll see you back at the house" Thorne says giving Ridge the address going to leave. With him stopping and looking at Ridge to see what he would say. "What was that about anyway? I have to get in contact with Carter because I think something is wrong with that. Custody agreement that Steffy's husband gave to Hope. And I don't want anything to come between her and Douglass" she says. "Call Carter I have to go see Steffy" Ridge said, "Wait Steffy will be here the entire weekend.

We need to get on this before the wedding" Brooke replies, "Then call Carter I have to go I'll see you at the house" he said as Thorne left. "Ridge, this is important they could be trying to steal Hope's son" she says, "Brooke you don't know that they said it was a standard custody agreement. That just added Claudia to speak for Thomas if he can't speak for himself" he responds.

"I know that is what he said but I think it's more than that why does Steffy's husband have to be his lawyer. Why not Carter because I'm sure Justin would have represented Hope Why this lawyer. Steffy is gonna be wherever she is, we need to do this right now" she says. "I don't know but call hope and Carter and just look over it to give yourself some ease" he says leaving as Eric looked at her. All the while she stood in disbelief that he left "Ridge, Ridge this is not sitting right with me Eric" Brooke says.

After putting the kids to sleep she sat there on the balcony staring out into space. "Stef, where's your head? '' Monty says coming out with no shirt on in his basketball shorts. With Monty look at him with a raised eyebrow "Sweetheart I need to talk to you please I don't like it being like this" Ridge says leaving her shocked.
