This is my first fic so any reviews are greatly appreciated
STREETS OF KONOHA
"This is such bullshit, I was so close and then he seen bushy brow sensei and left to compete in some stupid challenge, it's so not fair" Naruto ranted while walking down the streets of konoha, "I know but you heard what lord 6th said, there is nothing else we can do about it so we have to deal with it" Tenten replied trying to calm down the irate blonde "I know I know" said blonde answered.
"Hey TenTen is that Sakura running towards us or is the lack of sleep over the last few days getting to me" Naruto asked, "yeah I think It is let's go see what is wrong" said Tenten before both darted ahead to see what was wrong.
"Hey Sakura what's the rush is something wrong" Tenten asked, "it's Neji he's starting to wake up right now, i was running to the hyuga compound to tell hinata and her father" Sakura said "ok then keep going and we'll meet you at the hospital" Naruto said before they left to their respective destinations.
KONOHA HOSPITAL
"Naruto will you just sit down, no matter how much pacing you do, they won't let us in sooner," said Tenten. "fine" answered Naruto huffing as he sat down "I'm just worried about him" Naruto continued
As he finished Sakura showed up with Hinata and a very drunk Hiashi hyuga behind her, "what's wrong with him" Naruto asked pointing at hiashi but before he could get an answer a doctor opened the door letting them come in and see Neji.
"Hey Neji, how are you feeling?" Naruto asked. "fine but I'm a bit confused because the last thing I remember is me dying in your arms in the middle of the war, so how am I here?" Neji asked.
"Well that's actually kinda simple so what happened was after you did died we kept fighting until I eventually convinced Obito to turn against Madara and then Obito tried to revive everyone who was killed in the war but then black zetsu took over Obito and tried to revive Madara but as a final act at the last second Obito regained control and revived you, then we eventually sealed Madara's soul which ended the war and you have been in a coma the whole year since" Naruto explained.
"Well that explains everything, next question, what is with him?" Neji asked while pointing at Hiashi who was obviously drunk and not trying to hide it."Well you see Hanabi just graduated from the academy as rookie of the year, so we were celebrating it and Hanabi thought it would be funny to swap fathers saki with a real strong saki and as you can see this is what happened"Hinata responded revealing that see was a bit drunk too.
"oh well I might be her sensei then" Naruto mentioned "if that's so and she ends up acting like you do you best sleep with one eye open do you understand that it's bad enough she has started pulling pranks we don't need her doing anything else like you" Hiashi stated with an angry look in his eyes
"Well whether or not if Naruto is Hanabi's sensei that's something all of us should go out and celebrate for just let me get ready and I'll join" Neji was abruptly cut off by Sakura, "I don't think so, you've just got out of a coma and you want to go out and celebrate, you need to stay here so we can to see if you're in good health so you're not going anywhere".
"Well I should get going. I have some preparations for the next couple days I need to make, so see ya later guys" Naruto said before going home for the night leaving Neji to be with his family and old teammate.
HOKAGE TOWER
THE NEXT MORNING
Naruto was sitting in the Hokage tower waiting to be assigned his genin team when he seen Choji Akimichi enter, Naruto called him over to him "hey Choji are you trying to get a genin team as well" Naruto questioned, "yeah my dad talked me into saying something about each generation must pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation for things to improve" Choji answered.
"Now that everyone is here I shall begin assigning the genin teams, when your name is called come to my desk and take the files i give to you and go to the academy to collect your teams" kakashi announced to all the jonin present.
"Team 1 and team 2 are still in circulation so Tenten you have been assigned team 3 consisting of: Konsei Shiroki, Kesaki Shiroki and Yasa Shiroki. They are a set of triplets before you ask," Kakashi said before passing the file to the girl.
"Team 4 is also still in circulation so Naruto you are in charge of team 5 consisting of: Hanabi Hyuga, Shinichi Shihi and Ruyoshi Kimera" Kakashi said passing the file to Naruto, after taking the file Naruto headed to the academy to pick up his new team.
I didn't think I was going to update this so soon but i was board and here we are
