After leaving the convient store, Ymir's journey was relatively smooth, especially when she found a nice villa.

The villa was very big. When Ymir saw it, she felt that she must have walked to the suburbs. The villa had at least four or five floors and was about a thousand square meters. There were tall cypress trees planted everywhere, like a dark green wall. She pushed open the big iron door cautiously. The house looked a bit old. It was similar to the Victorian Gothic style, and it looked a bit gloomy and old. On the first floor was a large entrance hall. Another door led to a huge dining room with a dining table that could seat dozens of people. The luxurious marble spiral staircase led to the second floor, which the master bedroom was and several servant rooms. The sound of leather boots echoed in the empty building. Although the light emitted by the crystal chandelier was warm, Ymir still couldn't get used to such luxury. She chose the largest bedroom and settled down for the time being.

When she woke up again, it was dark, and the villa was as quiet as a pool of stagnant water. After eating dry bread, dried fruits and dried beef for a week, and almost never really filling her stomach, Ymir decided to find some ingredients in the villa to cook. I'll start from the basement, she told herself; the basement was dark, if it weren't for the lamp, she would have been in darkness. It was exactly as she thought, this kind of old villa usually stores food in the basement. A dazzling array of canned food came into view, and the cold storage next to it was full of meat and fish: it looked fresh.

Suddenly she felt a rustling sound behind her, she didn't take it seriously, thinking that the window was not closed tightly, but the light of the lamp reflected on the wall, and a black shadow flashed by. Ymir put down the desk lamp as quietly as possible, turned around, reached out and grabbed, pulling off a piece of cloth, seemed fast. The "clack clack" sound of leather boots was particularly obvious in the empty house, Ymir gave up the lamp and quickly climbed up the stairs.

"There is no place to run now, is there?" The lights in the hall were very bright, and Ymir could clearly see the person just now. She was about the same height as Ymir, maybe a little shorter, wearing a cloak with a piece torn off, and a hood on her head.

She turned around and smiled at her innocently. Her hood fell off, revealing her brown hair tied into a high ponytail, and she was holding a bunch of cans in her arms.

"Haha... um... I didn't mean to steal your food, but I haven't eaten for a day, and I thought such a big villa should have some..."

"Take some food if you want but stealing is not good, and with your skills..."Ymir raised an eyebrow to emphasize her sarcasm.

The thief didn't respond to Ymir's words, but said: "I have another request, I wonder if I can stay here for a few days."

"Ah? How do I know you haven't been bitten by zombies? What if you suddenly change and attack me?"

"Please!"

"Eat first."

The two girls returned to the basement again. When Ymir opened the cold storage, the thief dived in: "There's meat! This is meat!"

"What's wrong?"

"Can you eat it?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah, great, we have meat to eat!" Ymir shook her head and sighed, why is someone so obsessed with something like meat, it's not a rare ingredient.

The two collected some meat, vegetables and potatoes in the basement and went to the kitchen to cook. The kitchen was as big as the other rooms. Although it was not so gorgeous, it had many necessary tools, all neatly arranged. Several wooden boxes were filled with various fruits and vegetables. It was superfluous to take them from the basement. The thief seemed to be very interested in cooking. Ymir thought she did a good job. Ymir was responsible for washing and cutting the ingredients, while the thief showed her skills in the pot. In just half an hour, a decent dinner was ready: fried chicken steak with seasonal vegetables and baked potatoes.

"It's time to eat!"

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Sasha." She looked up at Ymir and then picked up a piece of meat and put it on her plate: "Eat it quickly, it will be cold in a while." Ymir found that this girl named Sasha not only liked meat, but also had a special liking for potatoes, which were ordinary food. Sasha stayed for two days in total. The two got along well, although Sasha would break one or two plates or cups; or accidentally put food in the pot and forgot to take it out.

On the third day, the air was filled with the metallic smell of blood.
