Manhattan, Franco's show, December 30th
Elizabeth and Jason decided to keep the pregnancy a secret and she even went to Mercy hospital and used an assumed name when she confirmed her pregnancy. They decided that after his art show she would end the relationship. What Elizabeth does not know is that the relationship is ending tonight permanently. Jason found out the fucker have cameras installed when he first came back so he had his new tech guy put them on a loop when Jason would visit and he thankfully the bastard was not sick enough to have cameras in the bathroom or the kids' room. He had had one in the kitchen, their bedroom, and the living room. The sick fuck probably watched hours of them having sex without her consent. He was able to track down the videos and they were burned as they speak. Sure he could use it against him but he refuses to have Elizabeth and their children go through that. It is bad enough that everyone is pitying her thinking she lost of the love her life with Lucky and the Spencer vultures were demanding Elena but he put a stop to that and let them know she was a Quartermaine and not a fucking Spencer. Once he accomplishes his mission he will dissolve his partnership with Sonny and knows he will have guards for the rest of his life and they will have to move out of Port Charles or else the five families will be nervous but they can visit from time to time and he change his name back to Quartermaine and honor Lila by using Morgan as his middle name instead of reverting back to Alan. Part of him wants twins so they can name one after Alan and one after Lila but if not he just has to convince her for one more baby. The kids are with their Grandparents and even Danny is visiting. He knows after this him and Sam need to talk because they had a slip up when Elizabeth was ignoring him and just wanted to feel something. He knows Elizabeth is going to be hurt but she deserved to know. He felt like he cheated on her when technically that is not true. Neither one of them has told Drew or Elizabeth but he is already keeping so much from her but it is to protect her. He knows she wants to know how he knew about Drew and AJ but he is not ready for that yet because if she knew the real reason he was taken she would blame herself and he refuses to put that on her. He looks at his watch and whispers " Showtime." Franco is on the stage and Elizabeth is off to the side as he makes his speech and as he talks everything happens so fast that it is hard to take in. The cops storm his art show and handcuff him. " Franco Baldwin you are under arrest for the murders of Richard Lansing and Lucky Spencer you have the right to remain silent…." He is shouting he is innocent and for Elizabeth to believe him and she looks so scared and hurt. He hates that he did this but it was the only way. He goes up to her and asks " What do you want to do?" She says " Just get me out of here now." They make their exit and the guards shield them as they load into his car. She grabs onto him and he holds her as she cries and quietly says " Just take me home and I just want to be with you at our home. I never want to go back to that other place it is tainted it is fucking tainted." Jason says "I am going to take care of everything and I will protect you always." He is thankful the kids are not here and that are still enjoying the high from Christmas. Elena was gifted with a limited collection of " Goosebumps" books because those are her favorite, a kids smartphone, she has a pony from Grandpa that she named Lexington that is being housed at the stables at the Quartermaines, and a bunch of clothes and shoes. Jake was gifted with an art session with his favorite artist, new video games, a new cell phone and a mini motorcycle. Cameron received an all access pass to the soccer championship for his favorite team, more video games, of course new clothes, and driving lessons after his 15th birthday next year. What he does not know is that Jason has gifted him a new car that will probably piss off his mom but nothing but the best for his kids. They sat down with Cameron and asked if has ok with being adopted and legal Morgan like his siblings and he lit up and actually cried. It was his final Christmas present and now he wears his name proudly. He will give his family the decision to keep Morgan or change to Quartermaine when he changes his name. Morgan is the name of a man who wanted to run from his family and it caused him to make decisions that changed the course of his life. He does not want this life for his kids and he wants them to be proud. He puts Elizabeth to sleep and retrieves his burner phone. He dials the number and says " THe next phase will start as scheduled and we shall proceed." His partner says understood and they hang up. He puts his phone in his secret compartment in his office and he looks up and finds Elizabeth. He says " Hey I was just coming back to bed." Elizabeth shakes her head and just sits on his lap and as they cuddle on the couch. Thank Goodness she did not see him hiding that. She is sitting in front of him and she just plays with his fingers. She says " Why do you feel the need to keep things from me? I saw you hiding a phone in a secret place and I would never invade your privacy." Jason says " I am sorry I just want you to have deniability if something happens." She seems to accept his answer. She then asks " How did you know what I was up to while you were gone." Jason freezes at that and says " Please don't make me please don't" Elizabeth turns and she is on his knees holding his face. She says " Hey baby look at me I won't judge you but I need to know the truth. I just found out that Franco I man I let into my home around me children killed Lucky and Ric. I cannot enter another relationship full of secrets so please tell me." Jason closes his eyes and admits the truth " Helena had men keep track of you and she then she would hack into cameras at public places and she would force me to watched them over and over again. She did this after I choose to keep my memories of you. What I did not tell you is that I know she was trying to trick me so that is why i lied and said I wanted to keep my memories of Sam so she would erase those. She thought I was too drugged but I heard her plan. She was going to make me choose and then actually erase the memories of the woman I really loved so I pretended it was Sam. After that she wanted to watch you with other men and drilled into my head that it was your fault I was there and that you should pay. I figured out her plan: she sent Drew after Sam and she was going to see me after you. She hates that you have outsmarted her and she wants you to suffer for it. It is why she took Jake and why she took me after faison and couldn't succeed with swapping my memories with Drew." Jason starts to cry and Elizabeth just holds and comforts him. She says "I am so sorry she put you through that because of your connection to me and that our little boy suffered." Jason says " No it is not your fault I refused to have you accept responsibility if not your fault that she was delusional." Elizabeth " Okay and it is a good thing she is dead one less crazy to worry about." Jason thinks I know she is dead because I made sure the old bitch was dead. Elizabeth take his hand and puts it on her stomach and says " I remember when you were shot in 2006 and I was holding your hand as you want back to sleep after thanking me for saving you and I looked down and I thought it is me, daddy, and baby and for that moment we felt like a family. I want to be your wife and I actually had Edward help me so I will be right back." She quickly leaves and she comes back with a ring box and says " Everytime you asked me to marry you it was my dream to say yes but I wanted you to be happy and not obligated. I know now we are both too afraid to let the other one in and take a risk. I want to take this risk with you and I do not care what anyone thinks. I love you more than I have ever loved any man and our love is the risk that is not too big to take but too big to lose. So will you marry me?" He looks at her lovingly and says " One minute" and he goes and gets his engagement ring. He says " This ring is actually the ring my Grandmother gave to me but I never told anyone. When you were kidnapped and I went to the Quartermaines she was the only one who could see my love for you. After you were rescued she asked me to come over and all she said was that I gift you the ring because you may see it yet or ready to accept but this ring Is for your soulmate and when you are both ready I want you to use it and be happy. I am sorry it took so long to get here but I want you to marry you and I want you to wear this ring." They cry happily and exchange rings. They celebrate all night long and are happily exhausted from their lovemaking. He wore protection with Sam and got tested just to be safe. He would never risk Elizabeth's health or their baby. Jason grabs his phone and Eizabeth asks him what is doing. HE says " We are getting married today and I know the perfect place and I have had the paperwork on standby and your wedding dress. I once heard you describe it when you thought I was sleeping and yes it will fit even though you are pregnant. You are not even showing yet." Elizabeth says " Damn I am impressed and I am ready." They decided to surprise the kids afterwards and after she has the baby they will have a wedding reception. They both agree it is best because there will be a media frenzy with Franco's arrest and she knows there will be a trial. They get married and call the kids to check on them and wish them a goodnight and they will see them in the morning so they can celebrate the new year together. They arrive and join them for breakfast and decide to put their rings on necklaces that are hidden and will surprise the family. Edward says " How are you holding up dear?' Elizabeth says " Thank you for caring for Edward but I promise I am okay in fact I am more than okay." She looks at Jason and he nods. She says " I am actually really happy because I have such a loving family and Jason and I got married." The table goes quiet and then you see a ball of energy zoom over and Elena climbs on her Daddy's lap and says " Yes this is best gift. I asked Santa for my mommy and daddy to love each other and get married and give me a little brother or sister to boss around since Jake and Cam do not listen to me." Her parents and grandparents laugh at her comments.
Cam and Jake both come over and Elizabeth gets up and asks " Our guys okay with me marrying your father instead of Franco. Cam says " I know you love Jason becuase your eyes light up in a way I have never seen before so as long as you are happy that is all that matters." Jake says " What he said and as long he treats you well or Dad or not he will answer to me." His parents laugh but Elena Says " Hey Daddy treats me like a princess so he will treat mommy the same. So apologize to Daddy." Jason says " It is okay princess your brother just wants to protect your mommy just like he wants to protect you." Edward says " Thank Goodness you were always my favorite out of Emily's friends and she would have loved you to be together." Elizabeth says " I know she knew Jake was Jason without having to tell her and she was supportive of us in the end and she will always be my sister in my heart." Monica says " I am happy for you and I know I have given you both a hard time but I am thankful that you let us in your family. Now show us your rings." Elizabeth and Jason take the rings out and Edward gasps " Lila gave you the ring didn't she?" Jason says " Yes Grandfather and thank you for giving Elizabeth your rings. It means a lot to us for you to have faith in our love for each other." Edward says " Your Elizabeth has always reminded me of my Lila and I know she would be honored to wear her ring." Elizabeth says " Thank you for the compliment Edward but I do not hold a candle to Lila." Edward says " Nonsense dear and I asked that you call me Grandfather and I cannot wait for Carly to find out. Please record it for me." They all laugh and enjoy their happiness as they enjoy each other and their day.
