About my hiatus & plans going forward. (Covering every one of my works)
1: Hey... uh... It's been awhile, huh?
I know I haven't been around for a long time and kinda stopped my works so suddenly. I fully understand and apologize if it threw everyone for a loop. I haven't necessarily 'quit', not at all, but like anyone, we have real life situations going on. Having to make money to take care of me and my two dogs, the economy going to s$%t, internet dramas left and right, censorship up the wazoo.
I never intended to stop with any of my works, but at the time that I stopped, I ran myself into writer's block, like with TimeXross, I knew the overarching story I wanted to tell, just didn't plan out a way to get the story from point A to point B outside of little inklings, so I was just making up and writing on a whim with some idea on where the plot would go. Another reason why I stopped is because on places like Google Documents, it kept messing up how the words were arranged, messing up the flow of the stories, to the point I stopped out of frustration. Another thing pertaining to TimeXross was the cards and decks everyone uses, as in while I had some decks some characters would play, not everyone had been established at the time. I knew WHAT they would play, just not what individual cards to make up their decks.
I made a fix to that. For a lot of the time that have dedicated to fleshing out the storyline, the cast, the decks and anything else, I wanted to make sure I had everything I could planned out properly before starting again. That means; Updates to the cards (especially given that even some of the old cards got reworked, but not too much), character bios, more thought-out story. While it will be the same story, I will have it named: "Cardfight! Vanguard TimeXross Revived" to differentiate it from the original.
This will be the same with other stories as well, like with Katrid and Zei. In this case, Katrid and Zei is going to be it's own IP (Been wanting to be the case since I was a little kid). The original MLP fanfic I did with all of the cast and the story beats are being scrapped, but not removed from the site. Everyone can still read that cringy mess of a story, which I want to as well just to remind myself where I was when I started my writing career to where I am now. Maybe I can do one story with the fanfic format and write down one of the storylines that will featured in the original series, and I do mean MAYBE! Stories like Eminite will be getting reworked, too, Yu-Gi-Oh Unlock may get scrapped, and the others are just short one-offs.
Again, sorry for my absence, I have been busy, and have been behind the scenes planning my stories out thoroughly. And for those who have messaged me directly, I got your messages, I'm not ignoring them, but I have no money to pay for any fanart, but I do appreciate it dearly. If you want to do it for fun, go right ahead by all means.
As for how the release process for how the chapters will come out; I plan on doing them on my PC's Notepad or Microsoft Word before transferring them to anywhere else to 1: have my own copy that won't go missing if a site gets taken down or lose progress. 2: I can take my time reviewing my progress before release, so there won't be a definitive release date.
2: This will be addressing Cardfight! Vanguard TimeXross specifically.
As stated, there are updates to many aspects to TimeXross that will be released soon. The first will be the character bios (those that have been completed), then deck profiles and the card details to understand their effects, and lastly, ideas that will make it into the story, but we as a cardfighting community work together, can bring these to V-Premium (given that the story takes place in the V-Series and that will not change).
As a heads-up, I will announce I a sneak-peek of what's to be added: A new clan, and new call mechanic with a detailed guide on how it works, concepts from Cardfight! Vanguard G transferring to V-Series and expansions on them, and lastly, changes to the Imaginary Gifts (all six). In the case of the Imaginary Gifts, I will make a post and we can see what ideas can make it into story and V-Premium as a whole.
While this is for TimeXross, this will the last for (this) outdated version of it. Sorry.
