Time Between Worlds
After spending three days at home, the Children of Millennia decided to return to Thundera to visit Lion-O and the other Thundercat nobles. They armed themselves with the weapons they were given from the Great Goddess. They may not have needed their weapons the first time they arrived in Thundera, but it was better to be safe than sorry. They also packed other essentials like medical supplies and extra clothes. Jirachi and the other Magical Creatures were eager to come along as well.
As Mahad was making sure he had everything he thought he would need, he noticed his flute and figured he should bring it along. Mana got the same idea and decided to bring her lyre with her. She figured that if she could entertain Wilykat and Wilykit with her magic tricks, maybe she could entertain them with her music too.
While everyone was in Pure Valley and heading for the door to the world of Thundera, Atem said, "I know I said I hope to bring Lion-O to Egypt one day, but then I realized, we should probably show him around the Pure Valley first."
"We do have to come here in order to come between worlds," Mahad pointed out. "And now that you mention it, I have been wondering the same thing about Tygra. Surely he would love to come here and see the Valley too."
"Wilykit and Wilykat would love it here too," said Mana.
"And so would Cheetara," Kisara added. "It's big enough for her to run around in as much as she would want. And with her agility, I'm sure Cheetara would be able to see the whole Valley in just a few minutes."
"I sure would like to show this place to Panthro," said Joseph.
"All right, everybody," Seto chuckled. "Once we get to Thundera, we'll meet up with our new friends and ask them if they want to come with us to see the Pure Valley."
Everyone was in agreement. They all came to the world of Thundera and walked through, finding themselves back inside the palace.
Atem saw Lion-O and called him. "Ho, Lion-O."
The Thunderian prince was surprised to see everybody. "Prince Atem? Guys? But you were all outside just a minute ago."
Even Snarf was baffled. "Did you all forget something?"
"Well, what do you know?" Joseph asked his friends. "Time must have stopped for us here in Thundera while we were back home in Egypt."
"Looks that way," Seto replied in agreement.
"Such is one of the many mysteries of the works of the Gods," Mahad commented.
Seeing the confused expressions on Lion-O and Snarf's faces, Atem decides to explain. "Whenever we leave our world and go to Pure Valley, for some reason, time stops for us back home. Time has also stopped for us since we've been here in Thundera. Now I guess since we've been back home, time has stopped for us here, as Jospeh pointed out."
Snarf scratched his whiskers. "That explains why it looks like you kids never left when really, you did."
"It is mysterious," Kisara admitted. "And we're still trying to understand it ourselves. But we're just happy to be back here. We've missed you and the rest of our new friends."
"Well, it's certainly good to have all of you back," Lion-O returned. "You're always welcome here." Then he realized something. "Hey, if time stops for you in your world while you're here, then this means that you guys can stay here in Thundera as much as you want to."
"I guess it does," Joseph agreed. "Does this mean we can stay in the same rooms we were in when we first came here?"
"Sure," the Thunderian prince answered. "Snarf and I will take you there right now. And once you're all settled in, maybe we can do something fun together."
They all began overlapping their agreements. Once the children were taken back to their room and settled in, they decided that they would enjoy their time here in Thundera and take Lion-O with them to see the Pure Valley later.
