Marie has been aside with her best friend since they were children. They too are considered strange in their town her friend Belle reads and Marie's a woodcarver like her parents. When Belles father goes missing Marie goes with her to look but found a castle instead. Read and find out what happens?

3. Chapter 3

Marie and Belle follow the trail Maurice used as the sun was setting. Philip turned to the right where and gotten nervous of being watched as Marie sensed the feeling too. She looked at the haunting appearance of the woods and felt Belle held her hand as she rusting noises were heard. "Lets keep going Belle. I've my fathers bow just in case." Said Marie as they continued their way. Right in front of them was a abandoned castle and huge gates making Philip stop but saw something large flew past the barrier causing him to freak out. "Philip steady." Said Belle as the two got off to calm him down. Marie looked gone threw the gate to take a better look at the castle. "Papa." Said Belle walking past Marie holding Maurice's hat. Marie breathed to relax and how cold it was starting to get pulling her hood on. They went to the doors to see it opened slightly then looked around for anything that would jump out at them. "Hello? Papa." Said Belle looking around the main room. Marie looked at the details of how the room was designed and spotted a painting hanging beside the stairs. "Marie I think heard someone up these stairs." Said Belle. "Coming." Said Marie looking at her then saw silver hair move back behind the wall on the second floor.

She followed Belle close behind searching for anyone or Maurice. Marie looked at the candle holder as Maurice's voice was heard and Belle rushed to his aide. "Maurice thank god your alright but who's done this." Said Marie and spotted the keys. "Let get you out." She says until the keys moved on their own. "I wouldn't dothat even when my brother is here." Said a voice holding the keys. "What you doing here?" Said another voice behind her. "Run Belle! Marie run!" Said Maurice as the torch went out. "Who's there?" Said Marie about to get the bow but stopped herself. "Please let go of my father. He's really sick." Said Belle reasoning the stranger close to belle. "Then he shouldn't have come here." Said the rough voice. "But he will die in this weather please we'll do anything." Said Marie. "Yes please he could die." Said Belle. "That's none our concern." Said the man walking away. "Wait! Takeus instead." Said Belle. "No Belle." Said Maurice. "Your willing to trade yourselves for him." Said The voice beside Marie. "Yes." Said Marie looking the man to see his browneyes,dark greenscales covering his body with wings, claws, and long tail. "We have our word." Said Belle facing the creature. The creature looked to be a buffalo from the top and wolf the bottom as Marie watched him drag Maurice out before they could say good bye.

Marie followed them as Belle stayed in the cell where Maurice was held in. She heard Maurice trying to talk to the beast but was ignored and was put into a carriage taking him back. "Maurice! Let me go please." Said Marie as the man grabbed her gently but firmly by the arms. "Allow me to give you a tour." Said The man. Marie sighed and looked at him. "It would be nice. But I haven't gotten my captures name." Said Marie. "David and i already know yours. Marie." Said David letting her go. "Lead the way and who is your brother?" Said Marie curious. "Adam but since we're cursed along with the castle. He wants to be called beast which I never follow." Said David leading Marie to main dining room. As they entered a footrest was chasing two foxes around the room. "Where did these foxes come from?" Said David as the red fox jumped into Marie's arms. "Leo, Orion stop it." Said Marie as David picked up the footrest calming it down. "Sorry they must've followed us." Said Marie as Orion lowered his ears. "They can stay here as long Adam doesn't have a problem with it." Said David as he put the footrest down. Leo looked at David and tilted his head as a cart rolled in. "My goodness David I thought she ran off. Hello dear I'm Mrs. Potts and this son chip." Said a tea pot. "She's one our servants here along with Lumiare and Cogsworth." Said David. "Would you like me to guide you to your room." Said Mrs. Potts. "Can you take me to belle? I want to see if she's alright." Said Marie. "That's fine I'll give you a tour later." Said David. "David! Where are you?!" Said the Beast. "Coming Adam!" Said David taking Marie's hand and kissed it. "I'll see you soon." He says unfolding his wings and flew off. "I'll show where you'll be staying." Said Mrs. Potts. Marie followed her as Orion and Leo sat on the cart below Mrs. Potts with Chip.

As they made it the room Marie can hear Belle talking to someone. She knocked first and opened the door as Orion and Leo looked around the room. "Hey." Said Marie as Belle hugged her. "Where did you go?" Said belle. "I tried get your father but David stopped me and wanted to show me around. Instead I want to see how were you holding up." Said Marie. "Right now I'm feelin upset and scared since this happened so fast." Said Belle as Someone knocked. "Who is it?" She says. Mrs. Potts came in with some fresh tea with a warm smile on her face. "Hello I thought I should bring you some tea. Now careful not to spill Chip." Said Mrs. Potts pouring the tea into Chip and hopped towards belle. "Now I think you two would fabulous in these dresses for dinner." Said the wardrobe closet. "Thanks but I'm not going." Said Belle. "But you must." Said the wardrobe. "This is too much for the both of us. With Belles father and my mother alone with my baby sister Emily." Said Marie as a clock came in. "Dinner awaits." Said the clock. "We're not going sir." Said Marie as Orion laid on her lap. "Alright I'll inform our master." Said the clock with worried expression. "I'll be coming along as well Cogworth. Chip." Said Mrs. Potts following him out the door. Marie sat on the floor next to Belle petting Orion to mind off of everything and Leo slept on Marie's cloak.
