When Belles father goes missing Marie goes with her to look but found a castle instead. Read and find out what happens?

4. Chapter 4

Meanwhile back in the cottage Sarah sat in thekitchen feeding Emily mashed blueberries and banana. "They shouldve been back by now. Hope those girls are alright." she said to herself looking at the snow beginning to fall. She got up puting on her warm cloak and got Emily's placed her inside all wrapped in her blanket after putting the food away. They went down to the village to look for thegirls or Maurice if they made itback. "Mrs. Roe. What are you doing here in this weather with Emily." said Richard spotting them. "Im looking for Maurice and the girls." said Sarah covering Emily's face. "Oh you just missed Maurice. He came down saying that two beasts locked them in the dungeon. But we believe he made it up." said Richard matter factly. "He is an honest manand if anything happens to those going after you and that cousin of yours personally." Sarah warned him. "I'll search for them with the boys for something in return." said Richard smirking. "What is it?" said Sarah. "Marie's hand or have your family thrown out of that old cottage." said Richard. "We'll see." said Sarahleaving him alone. She went to Maurices home and spottedthe light of the fire through thw windows. Knocking gently the door opened showingMaurice surprised seeingher and Emily. "Come in quickly." siad Maurice letting them in. "What happened?" said Sarah putting Emily on the table. "i was thrown out of the castle by the beasts who agreed to takeBelle and Marie. Im going back to get them before they could get hurt." said Maurice then coughed violently. "No your not. Im sure they'll be fine and im making sure you dont do anything foolish until they come home or my husband." said Sarah. She hung her cloak up on the coat rack and headed to the kitchen making some soup."You know you dont have to look out for me, Sarah. Ive taking care of myself before." said Maurice then coughed. Sarah had the water ready and looked at him in concern. "I know your worried about them. But trust their fine and if i know those is they can handle themselves. With Belle clever thinking and Marie on her hunting skills. Nothing can stop them." said Sarah while adding thechopped vegetables into the boiling water. "I suppose your right b-" "No buts. Now tell me what happened before ended in the dungeon." said Sarah taking Emily out of her basket. Maurice coughed again and pulled a rag to blow his nose. He sighed and started telling her everything without leaving any details.

Sarah listened to every word carefully for the last hour handing him the soup. "Sounds to me a great story for the children."said Sarah while Emily giggles. Maurices laughsas well and started eating with Sarah and Emily. After a long day of talking the night away Sarah and Emily left Maurice to rest from the rough travel he went through. She walked on the path of the woods towards her home and felt something strange. "Whos there?" said Sarah looking around holding Emily close. "Relax. Its just us." said Gaston walking towards her with Richard. "What do you two want?" said Sarah. "A little bird told me that the girls rode off to whose knows where to get Crazy old Maurice but never came back. Is it true?" said Gaston putting a hand on Sarah's shoulder. "If you two believe that i know something then your the ones that are Crazy. Now leave me and daughter alone." said Sarah rushing inside her cottage. She slammed the door and locked it as Emily started crying in fear. "Shush. I know im scared forthem too. If i know Marie and Belle then they would've sent a message by now." said Sarah rocking her upstairs. She went to the living room and started the fire while Emily was drifting off to sleep. Gaston, Richard, and Lefou stood outside looking through the windows watching her move. "You sure this plan going to work Gaston." Said Lefou earning a hit to the head by Richard. "Of course it will. Once we get the old manand that wild woman locked up along with throwing the kid to the orphanage in exchange to have Belle and Marie agree to be ours." Said Richard. "We want you to stay at Belles home while Buster does the same for The Roe's house until one of them comes home." Said Gaston dragging Lefou to the other side of town.

Meanwhile back at the castle Marie was in her own room across the hall looking around and through the drawers. Orion and Leo were on the bed rough housing as a knock was heard. "Who is it?" Said Marie from the drawer with a mirror. The door opened revealing David walking in with a plate. "I thought you'd be hungry. I manage to get you some food from the kitchen before my brother comes by." Said David walking over and placed it on the night stand. "I figured cogsworth told you two about us not showing." Said Marie looking at him. Suddenly a loud bang was heard across the hall before David can get a word out. "I thought I told you and your friend to come down to dinner." Said beast. "Does that answer your question?" Said David. "Yes. But if he keeps this up Them it's going to take a while for her to accept him." Said Marie finding a quill and paper in the drawers she hasn't checked. "Sending help won't do you good." Said David. "I'm actually letting my mother know we are alright. She is alone with my baby sister and might be thinking of searching for us." Said Marie ignoring beasts yells. "What about your father?" Said David. "He's out of town in the convention and won't come until maybe three weeks or more." Said Marie saddened. "They'll be fine with Maurice by their side." Said David watching her write. "I know that but those two idiots won't stop bothering us." Said Marie folding the note up and took out a ribbon in her violet. "Orion come here." Said Marie kneeling down. Orion jumped off the bed and approached her. She tied the ribbon securely around his neck and picked him up in her arms. "I can show you the way out after all I did say I can give you a tour of our castle." Said David opening the door for her. "Thank you. Your the firsts n who hasn't tried to make a move on me." Said Marie. David chuckled as they walked down stairs. "I guess we have to know each other in order to find out. My brother may have a temper but he's not that when you get to know him." Said David opening the main door wide enough for Orion to scurry outside. He closed the door while Marie followed him around the castle.
