Enter Team 7 Uchiha's Reality Check, A New Hope Blooms.

Narrator's POV

Today was the day Naruto would meet and be assessed by Team 7, so he dressed in his main battle attire completed with the 3 Sakai Blades, his Katana and Wakizashi placed side by side on his back facing Naruto's right side to be drawn by his right hand, on the back of his waist was his Tanto facing his left side to be drawn with his off hand, his uniform was unique as he was, he wore black Anbu style pants but with more built-in pockets of various sizes his belt was adorned with four different pouches each holding a different sealing scroll group while wearing closed Ninja boots rather than the open toe Ninja shoes.

His upper body was covered by a black undershirt, above that was red Gi with black leather armor on top it, his sleeves were wrapped in red bandage tape his left bicep had a ninja tool pouch and right four arm had a thin but slightly longer container on top of a gauntlet paired on both hands, with a red sleeveless hooded jacket with a black flame design on the bottom and rim of his hood his back design was the Uzumaki Swirl Crest with the kanji for Nine crossed out. Lastly hanging from his belt was the Ghost mask given to him but his mentor Jin Sakai.

He wore his headband proudly for all to see though he immediately replaced the blue fabric in favor for black.

Now he made his way to the team 7 training

grounds, having strange feeling about the day ahead.

Sakura's POV

I have been on team 7 for 3 years, 3 years and I have learned a my original thoughts of what and why I became a ninja were that of a stupid and naive fangirl, taking the advice of my mother a woman who didn't understand how hard or truly dangerous Shinobi life was, she had convinced me to pursue my now former crush "Sasuke Uchiha" she made it sound easy, but each mission since the that first C-Rank had ended in a horrible way.

My first teammate to leave team 7 was a civilian Gennin named Kai he was paralyzed trying to save me after I was captured by bandits during a caravan escort mission, that was my first look at the real Sasuke Uchiha, he told Kai to forget about me as I was being dragged away screaming for him to save me, he called me dead weight. Megami Hyuga went blind due to Sasuke throwing a flash tag kunai while her byuakugann active without warning, the next one didn't make a day after trying to be competitive with Sasuke a died via falling off a cliff.

Sai though lasted the longest and he became my only friend on team 7, I pursued the role of a Combat Medic Ninja, and was doing a lot of self study via letters and assignments sent by the Legendary Sage Tsunade Senju, While Sai taught me trapping and improved my Taijutsu skill and built up my chakra reserves .

Sadly during a mission a enemy had gotten under Sasuke's skin after his captured, and Sai made a joke implying Sasuke was gay.

Sasuke demanded he apologize which he did, but the moment Sasuke turned around, Sai called him a "Little Homo" with a smile on his face, I laughed until Sasuke spun around so quickly and punched Sai with so much force his head whipped back and hit the sign post behind him to hard it killed Sai instantly, That was the day I knew I hated Sasuke Uchiha, upon our return both Kakashi Sensei and I reported Sasuke's actions and his wction that lead to Sai's death, but the civilian council had forgone any punishment, and my own mother admonished me for going against The Uchiha Heir.

That made me somewhat terrified of my teammate, and now I would be getting a new on he was the very last reserve Gennin available his name is Naruto Uzumaki, I remembered he graduated a year before me, but that's wasn't all, when I started the academy back when Ino was still my best friend I was being bullied but a cute lonely looking blond boy defended me , cleaned and wrapped my scrapped knee but as Ino brought a teacher, the accused him of being one of the bullies but they wouldn't even hear his side or heard me defend him, I always wondered why they treated him like that .

Well it's time to face the music.

Narrator's POV

The members of Team 7 were gathered at their training grounds waiting for their newest and last replacement member, the 3rd Hokage's decree was very clear, they loose this member they're team would go on inactive duty indefinitely.

2 hours later Naruto appeared infront of his new team in a Swirl of leaves. He waved wnd said.

Naruto: Yo!

Sasuke looked livid at the late arrival of Naruto and marched towards him demanding a explanation after his verbal observation that he was in fact late.

Sasuke: You're Late!

Naruto: Neat.

Sasuke: Why were you so late.

Naruto: Well I saw a black cat and had to the long way, then I thought I saw a hedius monster, turns out it was someone girls fan made cut out of you.

Sasuke looked as if he was about to explode with rage at Naruto's mockery of him .

Sasuke: Now listen here, you clanless loser, I am a Uchiha a Elite, And YOU WILL SHOW ME RESPECT!

Naruto chuckled, before speaking again.

Naruto: Aww your adorable, who is a very intimidating pampered prince, it's you Uchiha.

Sasuke was dangerously close to lashing out.

Sasuke: You should be greatfull to be in presence let alone my team.

Naruto interjected here.

Naruto: You are incorrect sir.

Sasuke: Wh..

Naruto: You're not just wrong, you're stupid..

Sasuke: Wait a minute…

Naruto: And your ugly, just like your mother.

Sasuke's face now was bright red with rage.

Sasuke: Did you just call my mother ugly?

Naruto: I'm sorry, I'm just so agitated see the gay looking emo ninja who comes from a practically extinct clan, trying to order me around like he's God's gift to the world, while simultaneously trying to impress the Civilian council like his corpse of a Father.

Sasuke was on the edge and Naruto decided to push.

Sasuke: You think you're being cute?

Naruto smirked before answering.

Naruto: Bitch I'm adorable.

Sasuke charged at Naruto, Sakura stepped forward without really thinking, but her sensei stopped her, he had been silent this entire time, watching, something about Naruto screamed he would be able to handle Sasuke, despite seeming to look relaxed, Naruto's body language exhibited subtle signs of always being on guard, and his eyes alway looking around for potential and individual threats, this was a Ninja bred for extreme combat and dangerous situations and getting through them alive.

As Sasuke closed in on Naruto, the Uchiha heir who hadn't awakened his Sharingan in the 3 years he's been on team 7 didn't notice Naruto's left hand always remained low and close to his body and in a instant as Sasuke threw a left cross punch, Naruto had evaded Sasuke's attacks while grabbing the offending arm, drawing the Tanto on the back of his waist in reverse grip, stepping forward in-between the Uchiha's legs bringing the blade to his throat while using the elbow of the same arm holding the blade to slam the emo avenger to the ground hard Shocking both the boy in question and the pink haired medic who without realizing it began to blush at her new teammate putting the arrogant sociopath in his place.

Sasuke could not believe it brought down by a reserve Gennin like it was nothing and now was being retrained at blade point. Naruto spoke in mocking tone with a vicious grin on his face.

Naruto: I can kill you so many ways like this little Uchiha, and I could make it look like a accident, judging by how Sensei hasn't made a move a stop me, and the sexy pinkette over that looks absolutely giddy at the idea of being rid of you, makes me wonder what exactly did you do that the rest of the team wishes you dead.

Kakashi remained silent, but Sakura who was blushing at her new teammate's words on her sexy he called her she had some self consciousness about her small bust but this hot guy thinks she's sexy and put Sasuke on the ground, all this seems to awakened something she thought long gone

Sakura's mind: I think I'm in love

Inner Sakura: Kill him you sexy beast and I will bang you right here CHA I'M BACK BABY!

Kakashi's Mind: Naruto's skills are incredible and judging by his movement and expressions he could very well make good on his threat, huh I'm sure I could make a acceptable excuse to the council if Sasuke dies…

Naruto: Now do you want me to let you up?

Sasuke: Yes ..

Sasuke was embarrassed and still very angry.

Naruto: Yes what?

Sasuke was getting more angry

Sasuke: LET ME UP NOW!

Naruto pushed his knee down on Sasuke's groin causing pain, Sasuke tried resisting the pain in his family jewels. Naruto noticing the Uchiha heir's lack of screaming smiled as he would add psychosocial warfare to the mix.

Naruto: You think you are untouchable because the civilian council kissess your arrogant ass, but the truth is they don't care about you at all, just the potential of your blood to active that Sharingan your clan was so proud of, so how bad do you think they'll react if I inform them that Sai's assessment of you not being interested in the fairer sex and pitch on the other field seems to be true.

Sasuke looked confused about Naruto's words, as he explained further.

Naruto: Now there's nothing wrong with being gay, Sasuke, I'm not gay but since you are I won't treat you any different, but the council will not like it not one bit, because many of them want you to knock up one of their daughters, gaining more recognition and the Sharingan bloodline potential, but if you are gay they still only lose the recognition of being connected by marriage, but you loose so much more, if that information goes public even if untrue you are too valuable for the council to take a chance, you'll be pulled from the Shinobi program and be turned into a breeding fountain, harvested for your seed to fill as many women's bellys and the Uchiha clan is reborn without you, new Sharingan users, no use for you other than to provide the genes for the fist and second generation, but then you don't get stronger, which means you don't get your vengeance as with this rumor you lose everything because you're not special, your genetics are desirable not you, so Say the Magic words Gayvid Copperfield!

Sasuke eyes widened in horror, if Naruto starts a rumor that he's gay regardless of it being untrue he looses everything, he grit his teeth and finally answered as calmly as he could.

Sasuke: Please let me up Naruto Sir.

Naruto withdrew his Tanto sheathing it and released Sasuke and stepped away from him.

As Naruto looked towards the other two. Kakashi's looked at him approvingly, and Sakura had hearts in her eyes directed at Naruto.

Naruto: So sensei what is your assessment.

Kakashi spoke waisting no time.

Kakashi: My impression of you is Entertaining, now we should get started getting you used to running with team 7 Sakura you take Naruto and help him learn team formations and help him get familiar with our tactics.

Sakura: Yes Sensei, c'mon Naruto I know a great spot where we won't be bothered

Inner Sakura: You gotta tell me twice Sensei, I get to get one on one time with this gorgeous blonde badass CHA THERE IS A GOD!

Kakashi: I will plan some missions for tomorrow.

As the three began to walked away Sasuke yelled out.

Sasuke: WHAT AM SUPPOSED TO DO!?

Kakashi smiled under his mask thinking about what Naruto called him, a reference to a old magician.

Kakashi: Go cast a spell. Don't care, do what you want , you usually do.

Three of them all had the same thought

That maybe things will work out after all.
