AN1: Fighting scenes have never been my strong suit in any of my stories. I just want to point that out as this story isn't supposed to be super action packed in the first place. Naruto is solving problems but he is not here to bend the world to his will by force.
Chapter 5 Waking up the room only for now!
"This a huge win for the Leaf and the entire World. Code was a danger to everyone especially with his ability to travel to anywhere he placed a Claw Mark. You have my thanks Naruto for taking him out and proving his death without a doubt." Shikamaru praised before Boruto coughed getting everyone attention.
"The real issue is the God Trees specially Jura." Boruto noted as he explained that the Sentient God Trees were after specific people for knowledge by consuming them. Sarada, Konohamaru and Himawari were targets in particular while Ada silently shifted as she knew the one that the consumed Bug who turned into a God Tree was after her.
"The real question is how do we fight them? Even if we fight them as team against one of them at a time, they seemed to be stronger than Code and have the abilities of those they absorbed. The one that looks like Sasuke used Chidori and Fire Style according to Sarada and Boruto. We were barely able to beat the one that looked like Sasuke and even then, Jura did critical damage against Boruto with a long-range attack. Whose to say he won't snipe at us if we try to take down a Sentient God Tree one at a time?" Shikamaru noted before his face dropped to his desk as he used his hand to point forward.
Everyone sweatdropped when Naruto was seemingly not interested at all and as he was creating water creatures with a wave of his hand. It was a whale the size of his hand before he flicked his wrist becoming a bird which seemed to croon as Sumire rubbed its head. Sarada and Himawari also seemed entranced with Naruto Water mastery.
"It feels so real. Despite being made of water it feels solid and even soft like a real animal head." Sumire noted as her violet eyes were shining along with Sarada and Himawari who were cooing at the bird.
"Aw thank you! Just another way to use Water Style! Its not all explosions, or floods or moving the Earth. Chakra can be used for nice things too like this." Naruto noted cheerfully as he whistled making the water bird 'fly' out of his hand and land on Sumire hand.
The 'bird' rubbed its head against Sumire cheeks making her squeal at the affection while Sarada and Himawari clapped happily.
"Uh Naruto…. Can you be serious right now?" Shikamaru asked as he lifted his head up and smacked his head with his hand in exasperation.
"Oops sorry! I already know all this about the God Trees and everything so my mind just wandered. Getting pretty girls to laugh is something very wholesome and fun to do." Naruto admitted with a chuckle as he waved his hand in a casual way but gave a knowing look at the kunoichi in the room.
Himawari giggled, Sarada had a slight blush at the compliment while Sumire face turned red at the 'pretty' comment. Ada kept a blank expression but occasionally gave Naruto a side look with a hint of interest in her blue eyes.
Naruto ignored Kawaki's glare and Boruto raised eyebrow as he turned to Himawari with a grin.
"Hey Hima! Do you want to see something neat?" Naruto asked with a wink as Himawari eyes widened and she tilted her head.
"Hmm? Neat? It seems everything you do is neat but sure Papa!" Himawari chirped getting a wider grin from Naruto.
"Watch carefully. You will probably be the only one to see what I do next." Naruto whispered into her ear making her give him a curious nod.
The next moment there seemed burst of wind as several of the papers in the room fluttered and the girl's long hair blew into their faces. Luckily the burst of wind was not strong enough it caused Himawari's shirt or Sumire short skirt to lift up.
"Was there a point to that besides you proving you can do some weak Wind Style jutsu a 10-year-old can do?" Kawaki asked unimpressed as Naruto shook his head.
"That wasn't Wind Style Kawaki. Look closer. I added a little something." Naruto stated as he tilted his head towards Sumire who looked a tad flustered when everyone eyes were on her.
"Eep! What happened? Huh why does my hair feel abit different?" Sumire asked with a nervous chuckle before Naruto waved his hand as a ball of water appeared in front of Sumire face.
Sumire cheeks turned red when she saw her reflection. Her hair was still in it's long twintails but on top of her head was a wreath of white flowers that had pink stems that seemed to shine happily in the air.
"A wreath of flowers for an angel seemed fitting. Makes Sumire-chan seem even more pretty huh Hima?" Naruto asked with a cheerful smile and a bow making Sumire cover her face with her hands.
'He called me pretty again and those are some really nice flowers. They seemed to go well with my hair too…' Sumire thought as she felt her heart throb from Naruto's kind gesture.
"How did you? I didn't see him move a single step." Sarada asked in amazement while Boruto lone eye narrowed for a moment.
"She does look much prettier Papa! You have good taste which is pretty weird as my Papa doesn't really do that." Himawari noted with a giggle as Naruto rubbed his head in embarrassment.
"Now the question for you Hima can you tell what I did?" Naruto asked looking at Himawari expectantly.
Himawari looked at Naruto whose eyes showed even if she got the answer wrong, he was still proud of her making her heart sing with happiness.
'Hmm…. I didn't really see anything and judging by Sumire expression she didn't notice anything until he pointed it out.' Himawari thought to herself before she felt a pulse of chakra from Kurama.
'Himawari. It was just for a moment but I felt my other self's chakra and Naruto's chakra flare up. It was so quick I doubt anyone else would have sensed it. I only felt it because of him similar it was to our own chakra. This must be the answer.' Kurama explained to her mentally making Himawari eyes widened.
"Ah I think you have the answer Hima? The trick I used and that I can teach you in the future." Naruto asked with a wide smile.
Everyone turned to the young Uzumaki girl who looked deep in thought.
"You used Kurama's chakra right? For a quick burst of speed, right? You dashed forward, placed the wreath on Sumire-chan's head and dashed back to the same spot before anyone could see?" Himawari suggested carefully looking up at Naruto with bright eyes.
"That's right! Man talk about being proud! I think only you could have guessed that!" Naruto confirmed with a huge fatherly grin as he placed a hand on Himawari's head and rubbed her long hair.
Himawari blushed but had a beaming smile as she slightly leaned into his hand while Boruto looked at them with a sad expression for just a moment.
'Hima… Father….' Boruto thought before steeling his thoughts.
"Incredible…. I knew Naruto could use Kyubi chakra fully but to use it just for an instant in a burst that was pretty much undetectable is something else." Shikamaru noted with Konohamaru nodding his head as well.
"That is something else. That must take incredible control and power to use so much chakra in just a moment and be able to transform in and it out the Chakra Mode without anyone noticing." Kakashi praised with his eye smile.
Kawaki scoffed trying to look unimpressed but he did look annoyed at Naruto contact with Himawari. Sumire and Sarada were beaming up at Naruto with undisguised glee. Ada gave the slightest nod of approval while Daemon smile seemed to grow as he gave Naruto an interested look.
"After this is all over, I should still be here… I hope…" Naruto commented looking uncertain for a moment before shaking his head.
"I will teach you how to use Kurama's chakra in short bursts. This will allow you to fight for much longer periods of time instead of letting your chakra burn out keeping the transformation active. A neat trick to use in a pinch while you should build up your base strength to maximize the gains from using Tailed Beast chakra." Naruto promised the grinning Himawari as he released her head but gave him a warm smile.
Kawaki pushed Himawari behind him and stepped in between Naruto and Himawari with a frown.
"Nii-chan…" Himawari stated carefully hiding her annoyance well as she resisted to scowl at her adopted brother.
"Hey back off. I will decide what is best for Himawari." Kawaki decided as Sarada and Sumire scowled at him and Konohamaru sighed. Boruto clenched his fist but kept himself quiet. Kakashi slapped a hand over his forehead with a sigh.
"Hey what gives you the right to decide that?! Hima-chan is old enough to decide who she wants to train her or not!" Sarada demanded as Kawaki scoffed.
Himawari took a deep breath as she walked over to Sumire and Sarada who gave her a look of concern. She smiled at them assuring them she was fine.
"I am the one who is taking care of her. Besides how do we know this guy can even train anyone. He is barely older than me so he has no right flexing his so-called experience." Kawaki scoffed as Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Kawaki you are the one who knows nothing." Naruto stated darkly with a hint of a smile as if he was saying a joke only, he understood. AN2:
"I am the only other Jinchuriki here and I will tell you something. Only a Jinchuriki can truly understand another Jinchuriki. Maybe not so much in this time of relative peace where the countries are not using Jinchuriki as weapons but there is a bond, we share that no one else can understand. Besides only a Jinchuriki who has unity with their Tailed Beast can teach another Jinchuriki who to use their Tailed Beast powers. I am the Jinchuriki of Kurama who is teaching another Jinchuriki of Kurama who to use their Tailed Beast power in different ways." Naruto stated firmly staring down at Kawaki who scowled but backed off with a frown.
"Now then. Don't freak out but this next part is something I need to do to confirm something." Naruto stated making everyone look at him warily.
'How far will Konohamaru mind go to justify and 'correct' the inconsistencies in Kawaki being the 'son of the 7th Hokage'?' Naruto thought using the next exercise as a test.
Naruto turned to the group with his eyes in their Mangekyō Sharingan form as instantly everyone shuddered and then went still as a stature.
"Sorry about that. I just cast a quick Paralysis Genjustu using my Mangekyō Sharingan to prove something. Don't worry I am not planning to hurt anyone here but I don't want anyone to cheat and pour chakra into each other before my point is made." Naruto explained as he sent a sympathetic look walking around the room.
"Now that everyone is quiet and in place I will say Jinchuriki can break my Genjutsu as their Tailed Beasts can interrupt their chakra flow from inside as my Genjutsu will only affects the host's chakra. For example, like Hima's Kurama is doing now." Naruto explained as he pointed to Himawari.
Everyone eyes moved to Himawari who had her whisker marks enhanced and her eyes were in whiskers as she grunted and moved her shoulders showing that Kurama had broken the Genjutsu on her.
"Now Kawaki. You might hate Momoshiki but since he is inside the Kama he should be able to break you out of my Genjutsu by using a burst of his own chakra." Naruto commanded looking at Kawaki sternly.
Kawaki grit his teeth but did not reply beyond a glare. Daemon had an amused look while Ada had a worried look.
'Oh no…. This could be trouble if Kawaki doesn't actually use Momoshiki power.' Ada thought nervously.
Unseen to the others besides Naruto judging by his glance over to Boruto. Boruto blinked as he felt Momoshiki break the Genjutsu just like Naruto suggested he would have done if he was inside of Kawaki's Kama.
Himawari went up to Naruto and tugged on his arm.
"Papa please. Undo the Genjutsu. This won't prove anything and if you keep them trapped, they will start to distrust you instead." Himawari begged as her eyes had returned to their blue eyes showing she was no longer flowing with Kurama's chakra.
Naruto frowned but nodded as he glanced over to the group once more with his Mangekyō Sharingan active. This instantly made the Genjutsu vanish from everyone as everyone stretched their arms from the stiffness from being paralyzed for a minute.
"Nee-Chan! Are you alright? Do you want me to beat up this guy for making you unable to move?" Daemon asked his sister looking at Naruto with a glare.
Ada looked over at Naruto who sent her a challenging look but to the surprise of everyone she actually smiled.
"No, it's alright Daemon. Honestly with this curse I am used to everyone bending to my will so its actually refreshing being treated as someone normal. He cast the illusion on everyone when everyone else would have avoided me due to this curse. It is rather surprisingly nice to be treated just like everyone else for once." Ada noted with a slightest hitch in her voice showing she was slightly attracted for a moment.
Naruto blinked but nodded before turning to Shikamaru and Konohamaru who gave him glares while Kakashi just looked at him with interest.
"I will forgive this use of Genjutsu just this once but was there any real point to this besides the fact you could put us under a Genjutsu with just a glance?" Shikamaru asked warily while Konohamaru nodded with his arms crossed.
Naruto turned to Kawaki who glared at him.
"I just thought it was odd that Momoshiki would let his only host be trapped in an illusion despite not knowing for sure if I was going to keep my word or break it. I could have easily hurt Kawaki while he was trapped but there were no signs of him breaking my illusion." Naruto pointed out as Shikamaru eyes nodded.
'Naruto is trying to suggest the facts do not add up with Kawaki being Momoshiki vessel.' Shikamaru thought before Konohamaru laughed.
"I don't know what you are suggesting Naruto-san but Kawaki would never willingly use Momoshiki power even for something like Genjutsu Release! I am glad my student showed restraint and not unleashed that damned Otsutsuki powers!" Konohamaru said proudly at Kawaki who barely raised an eyebrow in recognition.
'Dammit even proof like this is not enough to make Sensei see the truth! Omnipotence is truly making him unable to see facts that he normally would be thinking of!' Sarada thought sourly as once again Konohamaru once again was taking Kawaki side without a second thought.
"Tch. Sigh. If you won't see what is right in front of you. I guess I might as well clean up Konoha before we move on. Shikamaru could you please open the window?" Naruto asked nicely as Shikamaru raised an eyebrow. He looked over at Kakashi who shrugged but gestured for Shikamaru to play along.
Shikamaru opened up the window as Naruto took a deep breath closing his eyes. After a moment there was a burst of chakra as Naruto opened his eyes revealing they were now a mix of a horizontal cross and a vertical slit in the middle. With the cross notably being bigger than the slit. Also Naruto had a yellowy orange Chakra Cloak that covered his body. Nine black orbs floated behind his body roughly the size of a fist that let out a purple glow.
Everyone eyes widened at the release of Naruto's Chakra Mode with Daemon smile growing like it was going to split off his face.
'None of the people would be considered 'sensory types' at least I don't believe so but we can just feel the chakra flowing out of here like a beacon. It seems obvious that this Naruto is not actually releasing this chakra for battle it's just how much chakra is naturally part of the transformation itself.' Ada thought in amazement
"Naruto…. That is Six Paths Sage Mode or at least that is what Kurama told our Naruto the name of the transformation is?" Kakashi asked with an eye smile.
Naruto nodded his head as behind his back was Nine black orbs that gave off a purple like glow.
"Yeah this is a form of Six Paths Sage Mode. These Truth Seeking Orbs behind me are controlled completely by my will. This will allow to me clean up and wipe out all the remaining disgusting torn off pieces of Code's Ten Tails at once. The pieces he called Claw Grime." Naruto stated as he crossed his arms as the orbs hovered behind his back and seemed to hum with power.
Sarada put her right fist over her left open palm as she had a look of realization. She had activated her Three Tomoe Sharingan as she gazed at the Truth-Seeking Orbs with interest.
"Ah! That's right those Claw Grimes all have Code's Claw Marks on them! If you destroy them then those God Trees won't have an easy way back into Konoha right away!" Sarada stated in realization.
'Those black orbs…. Even with my Sharingan active I can't get analyze them like I can with other Jutsu. They are emitting a powerful chakra but I cannot comprehend what they are made of. Amazing…' Sarada thought as her Sharingan flickered off.
'Nice try Sarada. Truth Seeking Orbs require Six Paths powers and not something you can just form by looking and trying to guess the chakra ratio. The Sharingan cannot break them down and form your chakra to match them.' Naruto thought with a knowing smile.
"Ding ding ding. Give the young lady a prize. That is correct Sarada. Even if Code is dead his Claw Marks are still active so leaving those Claw Grimes active with their Claw Marks on them leaves an open target for the God Trees to pop back here at any time. I don't have the patience for Kawaki to use Sukunahikona one at a time on the Claw Grimes lurking around." Naruto praised while Kawaki scowled at the slight against his abilities.
Shikamaru and Kakashi nodded in approval while Himawari, Sarada and Sumire were beaming up at Naruto. Himawari in particular looked ready to rush up and hug Naruto seemingly due to the warm nature of Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode chakra.
"That will make things easier. Kawaki has already shrunken down the Claw Marks on the people who were tagged by Code by accident. Eliminating the Claw Grime and their Claw Marks does make sense to do so we won't get another sneak attack at least for now." Shikamaru approved with Naruto giving him a nod.
"Alright. This will be quick as with my Sensory abilities I have already found all them around the village and surrounding area. I can remote control my Truth-Seeking Orbs from here to seek and destroy." Naruto revealed as he placed his right palm out narrowing his eyes in concentration.
Naruto's Nine Truth Seeking Orbs flew through the air at the command of Naruto and out the window. Naruto smirked as he mentally controlled the orbs with his mind having mental locations of every one of the Claw Grime. They flew at such speeds the people in Konoha barely noticed them there. The balls travelled to nine different directions destroying Claw Grimes like they were made of tissues.
The first couple of Claw Grimes did not even seem to notice the Truth-Seeking Orbs until they were shredded and erased from existence when Naruto added in Yin-Yang Release to them to 'nullify Ninjutsu'. They orbs changed shapes once they got close to the Claw Grimes turning into chainsaws and knives as they vaporized the Claw Grimes but did not collateral damage showing Naruto's control of the orbs.
Several Claw Grimes noticed the Truth-Seeking Orbs and attempted to eat them only to get erased from existence along with the Claw Marks once they made contact. Naruto let not a single Claw Mark escape his senses as soon all of them were erased out of existence at least along the borders of Konoha and the surrounding area. Naruto also erased the remaining Claw Marks that Code had placed on the ground and the trees around Konoha. He accomplished this by having is Truth-Seeking Orbs erase just enough of the space that the Claw Marks were stuck to along with the Claw Marks themselves.
"Okay done. Sorry for the wait. I didn't want to cause a panic so I went subtle instead full-on explosions with my Truth-Seeking Orbs." Naruto announced as he let out a sigh and nod.
'Seriously…? He considers like two minutes a long time to wipe all the marks by himself. Talk about a work horse.' Sarada thought drily.
Shikamaru placed a finger against his forehead as he got a message from the sensory corp.
"Yes? What is Sensory unit?" Shikamaru asked out loud while everyone else was still gaping at Naruto whose Truth-Seeking Orbs had returned to his back but he demonstrated his control over them by having one turn into a 'snake' that slithered in the air to Sarada and Himawari amusement.
The Truth-Seeking Orb only crawled up Sumire arm making her jump and squeal in surprise before Naruto made the 'snake' tilt its head making her coo at the black looking snake and even stroke its head.
"Its so life like…. It's not made of stone, wood or skin but its definitely smooth and solid." Sumire noted with awe as the 'snake' rubbed its head against her hand almost like it was a real snake.
"So cute! I want to pet it too!" Himawari squealed as the lone Truth-Seeking snake lifted its head up and slithered onto Sumire's shoulder so Himawari could pet it too.
While Boruto had a small smile at his real sister, Kawaki crossed his arms with an annoyed expression.
"Lord 8th! There was a massive surge in chakra from the being who resembled Lord 7th from your office just now! Plus, massive numbers of chakra belonging to the beings called Claw Grimes vanished as reported Black Spheres seemed to turn them to dust!" The Sensory Corp female member reported as Shikamaru let out a sigh.
"Yes I am well aware. Please remain calm. I was well aware of the changes. For now please consider it a sanctioned mission by the Hokage to eliminate threats to Konoha. Those strange beings from before one which had the chakra of Sasuke Uchiha should no longer be able to transport directly to Konoha with the destruction of the Claw Marks and Claw Grimes. Please have the sensory unit on standby in case of any more foreign chakra enters the barrier around Konoha." Shikamaru commanded in his 'Hokage voice'.
"Yes sir! Consider it done!" The same Sensory Corp member replied with respect and a salute as the line went dead.
"Sigh. I forget sometimes that the Sensory Corp is not linked directly to this room so they cannot hear when I give new commands inside this room unless I make a connection directly." Shikamaru sighed before he had a tired smile.
"But this does confirm that Naruto did what he said and wiped out the Claw Grimes so that is one less way for the God Trees to invade Konoha at least by surprise. So, you have my thanks Naruto." Shikamaru noted as Naruto idly waved off his thanks with a side glance and smile.
"This might not be my Konoha but I still consider it a home of sorts. I would never step aside and let it be destroyed while I am here." Naruto assured Shikamaru as Kakashi gave Naruto an eye smile.
Ada raised a delicate eyebrow as she tapped her chin.
'Interesting. If he does come from another dimension, he should have no stake in this as even if this planet is consumed for Chakra Fruit it would not affect his own world. I suppose he truly is just compassionate…. Or stupid. It is hard to tell with men sometimes what their motivation really is.' Ada thought to herself.
"Alright that is enough play time now." Naruto noted as he flicked his wrist and the 'snake' flew off Sumire's shoulder and hovered back over to him.
Naruto reformed his Truth-Seeking Orb from its 'snake' form back into a ball that hovered over his shoulder. It was completely black but gave off a purple aura that hummed with power. Naruto then powered down his Six Paths Sage Mode making his Truth Seeking Orbs vanish along with his chakra mode.
"This power…. It feels similar to Otsutsuki powers but he is not an Otsutsuki like you." Momoshiki noted as he manifested invisible behind Boruto looking at Naruto warily.
'This version of fath…. Naruto-san… He has Visual Jutsu like Master Sasuke. He treats Himawari like he is her father… I am not sure if he a threat or someone who is my ally.' Boruto thought feeling surprised to feel the fear from Momoshiki leaking from him despite his confident expression and smirk.
To Momoshiki and Boruto surprise Naruto turned his head to look directly at Momoshiki with one eye blue and the other eye was in his Rinnegan form. He seemingly deactivated his Mangekyō Sharingan now that he no longer needed it activated instead of him them both consistently on like he did before.
"I can see and sense you even without my Rinnegan Momoshiki. Don't think you can hide from me." Naruto told him coolly as the rest of the room looked at Naruto and Boruto warily. However, Konohamaru had a look of confusion on why Naruto was talking to Boruto.
"To answer your question this is Six Paths power. It is a form similar to Otsutsuki powers that is derived from Kaguya Otsutsuki and her descendants or being the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. Ten-Tails is simply another form of Kaguya after all. For me I gained access to both forms of Six Paths powers used by Hagomoro but I will say I believe personally I would rather have these powers then Otsutsuki powers. Hagomoro and Hamura might have gained powers from being born from Kaguya but it's a power they developed and trained for by themselves. Its not simply Otsutsuki powers being passed down by blood or a Kama!" Naruto announced proudly as a golden chakra cloak appeared on his body for a moment along with both his eyes turning to Rinnegan as if to mock Momoshiki.
'Dammit… This version of the Hokage is stronger then both the Uchiha and Hokage… He is dangerous even if I were to manifest completely through Boruto's body.' Momoshiki noted looking notably annoyed and even briefly scared much to Boruto's surprise. AN3:
"Hold on! Momoshiki is inside Kawaki not Boruto! Why are you talking to Boruto like he has the Otsutsuki inside of him!" Konohamaru insisted as Naruto could briefly sense Omnipotence influencing him even without Ada doing anything.
Shikamaru put a hand over his head in frustration as he took a dep breath.
'Just remember… Boruto is Boruto Uzumaki. Everything makes sense if I keep that in mind. That means Momoshiki is inside of him not Kawaki.' Shikamaru thought as he resisted falling into a drowsiness for some reason he could not explain.
'There are these memories of Boruto being Isshiki's vessel but even though it doesn't make any sense I feel I can trust Boruto.' Shikamaru thought tiredly.
Naruto turned to Konohamaru with a raised eyebrow.
"Fine. Let's say I am wrong and Kawaki has Momoshiki inside of him. Why is Kawaki the one not being restrained if he can be possessed by Momoshiki at any time? He did try to 'kill' the 7th Hokage or did I get those facts wrong?" Naruto asked with a suggestive undertone as he glanced over at Kawaki with a knowing look.
"What are you talking about? I trust Kawaki! Boruto is the one who is a threat regardless of if he saved Lord 7th before!" Konohamaru insisted as his memories assured him that Kawaki was basically his little brother that he trusted with his life.
Boruto looked stoic at his former Sensei who kept glaring at him while Sarada and Sumire gripped their fists in anger. Meanwhile Himawari had to constantly remind herself to trust Naruto who broken Omnipotence on her and assured her he could break it of everyone else. Kakashi was watching Naruto with his eyes narrowed.
"Tch…. I think this has gone on enough. I am getting tired of everything going over your heads due to you rationalizing any and all inconsistencies. I will admit I am suppose to not intervene with events that are supposed to happen but I think I can make an exception on something as big as this." Naruto noted as his blue eyes shone with indignant annoyance.
"Kawaki. Enough. I won't let you continue to live with this lie especially when you are willing to let people get hurt to keep this charade up." Naruto stated starring at Kawaki with stern expression. His eyes were full of disappointment as he crossed his arms.
'Can it be? He is somehow not affected and knows how things are supposed to be?' Kawaki thought with worry as he looked over at Ada and Daemon.
Konohamaru looked ready to stop whatever Naruto was about to do but to his surprise Shikamaru grabbed his arm to stop him.
"Lord 8th? We have to stop him! He is threatening Kawaki!" Konohamaru insisted but Shikamaru looked at him sharply.
"As Hokage I order you to stand down. I want to se where this goes." Shikamaru ordered even as he used his free hand to cover his left as he looked to be in anguish.
"Sir?" Konohamaru asked before Shikamaru narrowed his eyes.
"Yes sir." Konohamaru replied reluctantly as he stood back.
'If I understand what Naruto is implying, he is going to release whatever is influencing my mind and probably Konohamaru. I have to let him do this even though my instincts are to protect Kawaki right now.' Shikamaru thought as he panted silently trying to resist his urge to protect Kawaki.
Daemon wasn't looking at Kawaki but looking at his sister Ada as if waiting for her orders.
"Nee-chan?" Daemon asked carefully but his cool expression showed he didn't care much for Kawaki.
Ada bit her lip and let out a breath.
"Daemon. Please stop Naruto Uzumaki." Ada commanded although with notable reluctantly.
Daemon grinned with a nod as he seemed to vanish in a burst of speed.
"Papa! Watch out!" Himawari shouted as Sarada and Sumire looked up with shocked expressions.
"He can reflect anything that touches him so dodge please!" Sarada informed him but Naruto disappointed expression didn't change.
Daemon appeared to reappear behind Naruto with a kick aimed at Naruto's head.
"Sorry about! Nothing personal but gotta do what Nee-chan says!" Daemon apologized even as his kick was aimed to knock out Naruto.
To everyone shock Daemon kick went through Naruto as if he was a ghost or not there at all. Daemon phased through Naruto before he hit the ground but before his kick could shatter the ground, Daemon spun in mid air so his hands touched the ground before his kick did.
"What the? How did I o though him? Is this some sort of trick?" Daemon asked in astonishment.
'This is… So he can phrase though things like Obito and I did!' Kakashi thought as Naruto lifted up his head to show his eyes both in their Mangekyō Sharingan form that resembled the shape of the late Obito Uchiha.
Before Daemon could react Naruto right eye focused on Daemon as his eye swirled.
"You have my apologies but consider this a time out for now. Kamui!" Naruto apologized as everyone was shocked to see Daemon get sucked into a vortex before vanishing completely.
"Like I said this is just a time out. I didn't kill Daemon or anything. He is just out of the way." Naruto explained as his eyes reverted back to their natural blue.
Himawari, Sarada and Sumire had identical looks of awe while Shikamaru and Konohamaru were surprised. Kakashi had a small smile of pride on his face. Kawaki looked unnerved at the display from Naruto.
"How did you do that?! Daemon can reflect anything that has the slightest amount of Killer intent!" Ada demanded with a rare shock or pure surprise and concern mixed with anger.
Naruto tilted his head towards Kakashi.
"Kakashi-Sensei should know the answer. Kamui doesn't inflict any sort of harm if it is aimed at the target entire body at once. I merely transported Daemon into my Kamui Dimension so that way he can't stop me. Since no intention to harm or kill Daemon his ability to reflect did not activate. You have my word he isn't harmed and will be returned. It's really no different then if Boruto or Lord 4th.. Eh Dad used Flying Rajin to move someone to another location instantly." Naruto informed Ada with a rather matter of fact expression.
'He probably transported his own body into that dimension to avoid Daemon attack. That Kamui probably can be used as a form of intangibility from the act of having his body in a different dimension while an illusion remains in our dimension to take the appearance of him when he gets attacked.' Boruto analyzed unknowingly making the correct assumption from Naruto's statements.
Kakashi nodded his agreement but had a confused expression on what was happening. Naruto with his Mangekyō Sharingan now active looked over at Ada who flinched but nodded her head relaxing her stance. Kawaki seeing his actual allies not in a position to help him dashed forward with his Kama active.
'Himawari will forgive me later but I have to kill him now before he ruins everything!' Kawaki thought realizing that if Naruto did know what the true history was, there was a chance no matter how little he could remove Omnipotence from the world.
"Kawaki! Don't!" Sarada yelled seeing Kawaki with his arm in the form of an Ax really to chop off Naruto's head. Himawari eyes were in the form of Kurama's showing she was about intervene herself.
Naruto looked at Kawaki even as he inched closer with his Ax-like hand. Naruto sighed as he vanished in a burst of speed appearing behind Kawaki. Kawaki groaned as multiple blows appear to hit him at lightning speed making him fall to his knees as several blows hit his chest and arms.
"Now for you two. Don't worry once its over you will be yourselves and you will be thanking me." Naruto stated turning his gaze to Shikamaru and Konohamaru as once again his Mangekyō Sharingan was deactivated now that he was not staring at Ada with a threatening glare. He also gave a look of apology at Kakashi.
Naruto placed a hand in front of him as a bright light that lit up the entire room blinding everyone besides Naruto. Naruto flashed hand signs rapidly as the room was sealed off preventing sound and light from escaping while the chakra inside the room appeared to be normal to the sensory unit.
While the light was blinding everyone forcing them to cover their eyes, he made eye contact with Kakashi, Shikamaru and Konohamaru as they gasped.
"Now to undo it. This will hurt just for abit but bare with me, okay?" Naruto promised as the light intensified and an imagine of a demented 'Ada' controlling the men appeared behind them with strings attached to them like puppets. Naruto dashed forward so he was standing next to Himawari and placed a hand on her shoulder. Himawari gasped as she could now see through the light as she put her hand doen from her eyes.
"Papa! This is!" Himawari whispered as Naruto nodded.
"I am sharing my senses with you right now. The X-blade's power is a part of me so it doesn't affect me and now for abit its apart of you. That Himawari is a manifestation of Omnipotence visible to us. 'She' or rather 'it' is projecting Kawaki wishes on every other living person on the planet besides the people in the room." Naruto replied back with a sad smile.
"Begone! I am releasing the Shinjutsu!" Naruto announced as he clenched his hand and Himawari could see an outline of a strange looking blade in Naruto's hand.
'That must be the X-Blade Papa keeps mentioning. He is using its power to release Omnipotence on them like he did for me.' Himawari realized.
The 'Ada' behind the three men let out a scream of pain as the light enveloped 'her' and the strings attached to her seemed to burn away as she let out one last blood hurling scream before vanishing. Shikamaru, Kakashi and then Konohamaru let out of screams of pains as they held their heads in pain. Notably to Himawari the volume of screams seemed most quiet from Shikamaru, then Kakashi and then Konohamaru almost like they had levels of pain different.
"Lord 8th! Lord 7th! Konohamaru-Sensei!" Sarada and Sumire shouted even with their eyes closed hearing the men give out shouts of pain.
"Papa? Why are they in pain?" Himawari asked in worry as the screams seemed to get quiet as the light started to dim as well.
"Because to them the truth of 'Kawaki being the son of the Hokage' is the truth they have always known. To shatter that truth is hurting their minds like their reality is shattering in front of them right now. With you Hima your heart knew the truth at the end hence your love let you go along with the X-Blade's power to release you from Omnipotence power." Naruto informed her with a small smile making her blush.
"Nii-chan…" Himawari whispered as she looked at her real older brother who was blinking his eyes to clear his vision.
"Ugh… My head…. It's like all these memories and thoughts are getting unjumbled all at once." Shikamaru grunted as he blinked several times.
"What…. Have we done? We… hunted Boruto?" Kakashi whispered in shock in terror as he looked up at Boruto whose lone eye widened.
"Wait… What are you?" Boruto asked in amazement as Kawaki growled and Ada eyes widened.
"They are… actually awake? This Naruto actually undid it?" Ada whispered in amazement.
Konohamaru meanwhile was on his knees as he held his face in his hands. His eyes were full of terror and disbelief.
"No! No! No! I couldn't have! There is no way I could have ever! Boruto?! I actually wanted to kill him?! No! No!" Konohamaru shouted in disbelief as he looked like a wounded dog shaking on his knees.
"Sensei… You all… You actually remember Boruto as Boruto Uzumaki?" Sarada asked carefully along with Sumire looking at the men with notable unease.
"So…. This all makes sense… You kept asking us to take down the kill order on Boruto because you remembered who he was… Sarada… Sumire… You were the ones who were right all along." Shikamaru apologized with notable shame on his face.
"Yeah Sensei… We remembered everything as we were never under Omnipotence and it was so hard to see you all want to hurt Boruto when he was the victim not the murderer you thought he was." Sarada admitted with an emotional look as Sumire looked just as hurt before the girls hugged each other as Shikamaru and Shikamaru looked away in shame.
Kawaki stood up only for Konohamaru to glare up at him with hatred in his eyes standing up instantly with one of Asuma's unique trench knives in in his hands. He pointed the blade at Kawaki who flinched with a nervous expression.
"Master Konohamaru… What are you?" Kawaki asked carefully as Konohamaru let out a growl of repressed hatred.
"It's you! You and Ada did this to us somehow! You must have changed our memories so we thought you were Naruto Sensei's real born son and that all the things you did were done by Boruto!" Konohamaru yelled out with his eyes full of hatred making Kawaki flinch and Ada look uneasy.
"Actually, Ada used the Shinjutsu Omnipotence to fulfill Kawaki's wish. They swapped the positions of Boruto and Kawaki in the collective memory so Kawaki was always the 7th Hokage first born child and that Boruto was a nobody who bit the hand who fed him and took him in. Ada then lied due to pressure from Kawaki to lie about Naruto and Hinata's death so you would never be able to forgive Boruto or give him a chance to explain himself." Naruto explained with a disappointed look at Ada and Kawaki. Kawaki bit his lip but refused to back down while Ada had a slight hint of shame in her eyes.
This seemed to set off Konohamaru as he let out an inhuman roar and ran at Kawaki with his blade raised. Sarada has her Three-Tomoe Sharingan active and could see the flow of chakra infused along the blade of the Trench Knife.
'That is Wind Release chakra! He is going for the kill!' Sarada thought in realization but she hesistated finding herself unable to help Kawaki at the moment.
"Stop Konohamaru! We need to think this over!" Shikamaru commanded as he put his hands together to form the Hand Signs for his Shadow Possession Jutsu.
Konohamaru seemed to ignore Shikamaru as h continued his dash with his Trench Knife aimed to cut off Kawaki's neck as his eyes were full of hatred and resentment. Kawaki growled as he took a step back and transformed his arm back into its sword like form to intercept.
Naruto appeared in the middle of the two as he held them both back with his bare hands catching Konohamaru trench Knife with one hand and Kawaki transformed arm with the other.
"I believe your Hokage told you to stop. Last time I checked regardless of these strange circumstances you both should at least listen to him first." Naruto chided with a sigh.
"Naruto-san? Why are you protecting him?! He deserves to die for what he did and made us do for the last three years!" Konohamaru demanded with a hurt expression visible in his anger.
Kawaki also had his eyes wide along with Ada with Kakashi having a small smile.
"Why…. If you know what I did why are you stopping him?" Kawaki also asked quietly.
Naruto let go of their weapons but waved his hands as wind made them separate to opposite sides of the room. Ada hesitantly got up and stood by Kawaki while Shikamaru and Kakashi looked at Konohamaru with concern.
"You brats…. Sigh… If anyone gets to disperse justice its me. I won't allow anyone to hurt Kawaki till I decide what happens to him. That also means I won't let Kawaki hurt anyone else in the meanwhile so don't think you are off Scot free you brat." Naruto chided as he crossed his arms over his chest with an annoyed expression.
Konohamaru had to be held back by Shikamaru Shadow Possession Jutsu as he still looked ready to lunge at Kawaki despite Naruto's proclamation.
"He did crimes against Konoha and the entire world! If anyone should get to kill him it should be us!" Konohamaru insisted angrily with Kakashi and Shikamaru looking away showing despite their calmer heads they secretly agreed with Konohamaru.
Kawaki looked away with a frown but transformed his arm back to its normal state.
"If it wasn't for me then you would still want to kill Boruto after he coughed up intel so don't act all high and mighty little Konohamaru." Naruto retorted making Konohamaru wince in realization.
"Besides isn't there someone else you should talk to know that you remember who he is? Someone who deserves your attention more then slugging Kawaki right now?" Naruto pointed out with a tilt of his head.
Konohamaru slumped his shoulder in defeat making Shikamaru release his Shadow Possession Jutsu now that he was no longer resisting. Konohamaru looked over at the stoic Boruto who gave his former sensei an impassive expression as if he was more of a stranger now.
"Boruto… I…" Konohamaru started trying to find the words to express his regrets and beg for forgiveness but Boruto expression didn't seem to change much.
Seeing that everyone in the room now knew the truth Himawari could not take it anymore. She dashed past Sumire and Sarada and ran up to Boruto with tears in her eyes.
"Nii-chan! I am back! Well, I mean you are back but I remember everything! I am so so so sorry that you went through that all!" Himawari babbled as she threw her arms around Boruto's waist and buried her face into his chest ignoring his cuffed hands stopping him from embracing her in return.
"….! Hima… You remember me? I didn't see the other… father…. Release you from Omnipotence?" Boruto asked softly and hesitantly as his sister kept her face in his chest. He also seemed to hesitate at calling a version of Naruto Uzumaki 'father' as if he kept the concept of 'father' distant and out of use for himself.
"Yeah… Papa released me from Omnipotence when he first came to this world. While you were unconscious but I had to act like I was still under it… It broke my heart I had to watch you from afar but now no one or nothing in this world will break us up again Nii-chan!" Himawari promised Boruto who looed stunned before his expression softened as he struggled to wrap his own arms around his younger sister.
Sarada and Sumire had wide smiles at seeing the siblings reunite after 3 years of being forced apart. Sarada had in particular a very soft glint in her eyes seeing the person that mattered most to her reunite with his sibling who she also considered a a younger sister. Kawaki was down on his knees looking distraught with his head down with only Ada giving him a look not at least disappointed if not angered.
Shikamaru looked at Konohamaru who looked like his entire world had vanished before Shikamaru sighed. He got up and stopped when Sumire and Sarada stood in between him and Boruto. Shikamaru had a small smile at their protectiveness of Boruto before shaking his head.
"Don't worry. I remember everything know. Even with Omnipotent active I considered Boruto an ally of Konoha and possibly Boruto Uzumaki. However, that was only after he came back to Konoha as my rational mind decided it only made sense if Boruto was Naruto's son even if my memories screamed at me that Kawaki was Naruto's son. However, as Hokage I was limited on what I could do especially with everyone else under Kawaki's control so I could only do it from the shadows and not give my public support to him." Shikamaru revealed as Boruto and Naruto gave stiff nods confirming his story.
Shikamaru gave Boruto a look of sorrow as Boruto lone eye locked eyes with him.
"Boruto…. I can never pay back the 3 year we took from you. I can understand If you hate Konoha or even if you don't want to come back after this is all over. All I can do now is at least give you the option to defend yourself and leave if you want to." Shikamaru apologized with his head bowed down making Boruto eyebrow raise.
"Are you okay bowing your head like that Lord 8th. Even if I am innocent that is not a good look for a Hokage." Boruto commented with hint of sass getting Sarada to smirk and Sumire to smile softly at the hint of the younger Boruto coming out.
Shikamaru stepped past Sarada and Sumire and after coughing into his hand Himawari let go of Boruto and stepped aside. Shikamaru raised his hands up before he quickly typed in the code 4306 into the cuffs which beeped and then unclicked. The cuffs fell onto the ground uselessly.
"Hehe to be honest if it looked like you were going to die in interrogation, I would probably find some way to slip the code to you or someone I trust so you could slip the cuffs. As long as you had Flying Rajin you could escape although I guess I would be blamed even as Acting 8th Hokage." Shikamaru admitted as Boruto rubbed his sore wrists to get circulation back into his wrists.
"…. For what's it worth I appreciate you looking out for me even if it was subtle ways as I know your hands were just as tied as mine were. No one was going to believe you if you all the sudden declared my kill order void even as the Hokage." Boruto replied back with a hint of warmth.
Shikamaru bowed his head in thanks and stepped aside to let Himawari hug her brother again. This time he managed to wrap his own arms around her making her beam up at him.
"You gotten taller Hima." Boruto noted simply as Himawari let out a giggle as well.
"Hehe you did too Nii-chan. I am surprised Sarada-Nee-san and Sumire-san haven't tried to make you theor boyfriend already." Himawari teased as Boruto raised an eyebrow.
Boruto looked past Himawari to stare at Sarada who was like a tomato at Himawari's comment and then at Sarada. Sarada also had a blush as she shook her head but Boruto noted that Sarada kept sneaking glances over at Naruto who had a tranquil expression.
"You both are heartbreakers! Well Himawari maybe in a few years but you definitely are the best of both your parents." Naruto praised with a proud smile which made Himawari smile shyly and Boruto to have a small smile.
After another 2 minutes of hugging her beloved older brother Himawari sighed before letting go as she tilted her head back.
"Nii-chan. There is someone else who wants to hug you almost as much as me. She has been waiting this entire time which is longer then me for your return." Himawari noted as she stepped aside just in time.
Boruto let out a humph as Sarada crashed into him burying her face into his neck as his expression grew soft and warm.
"Boruto-baka! Welcome home for real this time!" Sarada hiccupped as her emotions flowed out of her freely like a dam that had been sealed for years and releasing all the water at once.
As Sarada wrapped her arms around Boruto's neck while Boruto wrapped his arms around her waist in a very intimate manner.
"Sorry Sarada…. I am glad you waited for me and I am back like I promised. I guess we just need Mitsuki back and Team Seven will be back huh." Boruto joked but his tone was quite soft and full of affection.
"Baka… When I become Hokage I need you with me… If I have to become Hokage straight from Genin like Lord 7th I don't mind it. He is my hero and the person I want to aspire to become like." Sarada declared emotionally as Boruto nodded his head in agreement.
'So other me… I guess this Naruto actually did become Hokage from Genin. That is both impressive and a tad embarrassing from my standpoint.' Naruto thought rubbing his head in embarrassment at the smirk sent by Shikamaru and Kakashi
Shikamaru sighed when Boruto sent him a confusing look.
"Look…. It is not when of my best moments but while the entire world was under Omnipotence we really did believe that you were a criminal who killed Naruto and tried to kill Kawaki. Sarada and Sumire the entire 3 years kept pushing for an investigation to be made about the incident but the public and government was not interested in looking deeper into it. It got to the point where I decided as Hokage along with public pressure that Sarada was no longer qualified to be a Chunnin and lead Genin into the field. Hence, we demoted her but Sarada claimed she didn't care and still pushed for your innocent Boruto." Shikamaru admitted flinching when Naruto gave him an unimpressed look. AN5:
Sarada let go of Boruto as Sumire walked over and waved awkwardly at Boruto who smiled at her.
"Still letting good Class Rep. Your long hair suits you well." Boruto told her as Sumire smiled and nodded her head in thanks.
"Thanks Boruto-kun. You really look like Sasuke-san and I think that is a good look for you too." Sumire replied back with a nod.
"I meant what I said Lord 8th. Lord 7th is my hero and the one I want to learn from. So if he can become Hokage while still a Genin I will be the next one to do so." Sarada declared as Shikamaru looked awkward rubbing his head.
Konohamaru took this opportunity to stand up and walk over to Boruto who raised his eyebrow.
"Boruto… I know nothing I say can make up for what I did and tried to do to you… All I can say is I am sorry and beg for your forgiveness even if I don't deserve it!" Konohamaru apologized as he got onto his hands and knees.
Boruto placed a hand on his former teacher's back and lifted him up to his feet by grabbing his hand.
"Master Konohamaru… I don't blame you… I understand you thought I killed Father and that I tired to hurt someone important to you. If I was under Omnipotence, I probably would have acted the same. If you need me to forgive you I will." Boruto said with understanding as Konohamaru looked up at him with hope in his eyes.
"Then you can call me 'Nii-chan' and everything will be the same as before!" Konohamaru said hopefully as Boruto expression turned coo but still sympathetic.
"Sensei… I am not a child anymore. I learned to live on my own with help but I don't need my hand held anymore. Things can be friendly and cordial but I am not the same boy who depended on you." Boruto explained bluntly as Konohamaru winced looking like he was being hit.
Sarada gave their sensei a look of pity but understood Boruto's reasons.
"Nii-chan? Who helped you? I want to thank them for taking care of you while we were not…" Himawari asked trailing off with notable guilt only for Boruto to shake his head to show he didn't blame her.
"….. I promised I wouldn't say their name… for their protection." Boruto explained hesitantly as Konohamaru looked at him oddly.
"Are you saying you don't trust us?" Konohamaru asked with a hurt expression as Boruto gave him a flat stare.
"Till 10 minutes probably not with their identity as I assumed you would execute me as soon as I gave you, my intel. The elders sure as heck didn't seem likely to let me go no matter what I said." Boruto pointed out as Konohamaru and Shikamaru flinched knowing Boruto wasn't exactly far off.
"Its Koji Kashin. The clone of Jiraiya Sensei created by Amado. He awakened the Shinjutsu Ten Directions an ability that allows him to se possible futures. He survived his encounter with Jigen or rather Isshiki Otsutsuki and awakened the hidden ability. Since he could see possible future, he foresaw Ada and Kawaki using Omnipotence as one of the possible futures so he knew that Boruto has always been the son of Lord 7th despite Omnipotence trying to modify his memories. He used his newly awakened power to train and inform Boruto." Naruto explained helpfully as everyone including Boruto looked at him with wide eyes.
"How do you know that?! Kojo has never seen a future of a version of you coming here!" Boruto asked with suspicious eyes as Naruto raised his hands in surrender.
"Don't worry I am still your ally. The ability exclusive to me the X-Blade allows me to see everything including the history of a world so I saw your meeting with Kojo before I came to the world. Also, I will say this right now. Kojo is off limits. He is free to do whatever he wishes as he wants to destroy the God Trees as well and I will not let anyone interrogate him." Naruto warned with his eyes narrowed as he starred at Konohamaru and Shikamaru who gulped and nodded.
"…. I know he isn't Pervy Sage or rather Jiraiya-sensei but a part of me is happy that even a clone of him is alive in this world. Part of him is still alive but I understand he isn't my master any more then I am Tou-chan." Naruto admitted with oft eyes full of reminisce making Boruto smile at him.
"Also, as promised Daemon is released but keep him in line Ada as I will send him back into Kamui Dimension if he misbehaves." Naruto warned Ada who looked up from starring at Kawaki's kneeling form with a stiff nod.
Naruto's Mangekyō Sharingan activated again in the form of Obito's eyes as his right eye swirled as a ripple appeared in front of him. Daemon stumbled out looking around before running towards Ada.
"Nee-chan! Are you alright? Did he do anything to you?" Daemon asked with concerned eyes glaring at Naruto who looked impassive.
Ada nodded and put a hand on Daemon shoulder to prevent him from attacking especially when the group looked at her, Daemon and Kawaki with disdain.
"It's alright Daemon. He released you like he promised. However, he can undo my Omnipotent. I think the charade is over now…." Ada told him sadly seeing Kawaki pant with anger and frustration from his kneeling position.
"Oh… That's okay. I was never okay with Kawaki's cowardly plan. If he wanted to kill Boruto, he should have done it himself. Not rely on the world to hunt him down for him and pass on his stupid plots as if Boruto was the one who did them. Like making Nee-chan pretend that the 7th Hokage was killed by Boruto when they aren't even dead." Daemon commented with a happy smile as if Kawaki being exposed was something he found fun.
Everyone besides Boruto and Naruto eyes widened as they stared at Daemon who was whistling.
"Naruto and Hinata are alive?" Shikamaru asked urgently as Daemon nodded.
"Yup alive and well. Just trapped in a dimension by Kawaki before the whole 'swapping' thing. "How could you Kawaki...? They took you and raised you like another big brother for me and you trapped them?" Himawari asked sadly with a hurt expression as Kawaki grit his teeth especially when Boruto stood in between them as if worried Kawaki would attack Himawari.
"I did it for them! I saved them because they were not okay with me getting rid of Boruto! He is still a threat as Momoshiki can take over his body and he will kill them! Everything I have ever done is for the sake of Lord 7th! Killing Boruto and myself are the only way to prevent any more Otsutsuki from comig n back! Can't you see Himawari I am doing this for your family!" Kawaki raged as Himawari looked away.
"Tch what a drag? What do we do with Kawaki. Even if we can forgive his aggressive actions as some sort of overprotective urge to protect Naruto, something needs to be done. He has made it clear he will stop at nothing to kill Boruto regardless of what anyone else says." Shikamaru pointed out as Kakashi let out a sigh.
Seeing Konohamaru stand up Shikamaru raised a hand up.
"We are not killing Kawaki just because you feel guilty. Get over yourself Konohamaru we all sinned these three years. Killing Kawaki doesn't absolve us or everything what happened." Kakashi chided as Konohamaru grit his teeth with anger.
Sarada turned to Kawaki with her eyes cold as ice with Kawaki looking cooly at her.
"Don't expect us to speak on your behalf Kawaki. I have always been on Boruto side so I have never for a second been okay with hunting him down even when everyone else turned on him." Sarada told him bluntly as Kawaki scoffed.
"Kawaki-kun…. No Kawaki-san… I understand being indebted to Lord 7th but I still think what you been doing as something horrible." Sumire added with Kawaki barely sparing her a glance.
"Now the question is what I should do to you Kawaki? Like I said I should be the one to decide your fate as I am the one who undoing your mistakes." Naruto asked as he opened his eyes to reveal them both to be both Nine Tomoe Rinnegan making Kawaki flinch slightly at the power of the eyes. Kawaki didn't relax when Naruto eyes reverted back to their normal blue eyes but still was as cold as before.
AN3: I have said he ahs been to the Game of Thrones world. It's possible he has used the power of the X-blade to see the past of the world before he went there. Yes he is referencing Melisandre saying You know nothing Jon Snow."
AN3: I have alluded to that Kaguya in Naruto's world (his version) is stronger than Isshiki (at least if she is at her full power) and this Naruto is stronger than the Boruto versions of Naruto and Sasuke. (again in the version of the world he is currently visiting). Naruto is confident he can solve problems like Code and the Sentient Ten-Tails clones by himself aka showing at least in his opinion he is stronger than them.
AN5: I know in the manga (which frankly doesn't give Sarada nearly as much growth as the anime like her Sharingan growing in strength off screen, Sarada never become a Chunin and stayed a Genin the entire time (hence the line in Boruto Two Blue Vortex 'remaining a Genin'). While in the anime she was promoted to Chunin in the original Boruto anime. This is how I retcon these inconsistencies in the sword.
