Volume IV: Planet of the Symbiotes Part I

This will be the twenty-third chapter of Volume IV and Part I of the three part story, the Life Foundation has the Venom Symbiote in their possession for over a month until it spawned out two more symbiotes and bonded them to Donna Diego and Trevor Cole, they both become the supervillains Scream and Riot, Carlton Drake sent them to break out Cletus Kasady from Ravencroft again, they freed him as his symbiote has been fully regenerated and he's back to being Carnage. Carnage will meet with Carlton Drake for the first time as he sends all three of them to break into the Triskelion to steal classified data pertaining to an old top secret S.H.I.E.L.D. operation codename GRENDEL, these unfortunate events will bring Nick Fury to share with Spider-Man and his team an old S.H.I.E.L.D. secret from the late 60's, learning about the history of the symbiotes. After they're done getting everything they needed, Carlton Drake sends them on a mission into space, specifically to the dark side of the moon itself where the secret remains hidden for over 50 years, the secret that will spell out trouble for the world. At the same time, Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy are getting ready for their big wedding happening very soon, a lot of old friends and family members are coming for the big day, Gwen's Uncle Arthur gifted the couple with a very special wedding gift they both enjoy together, Harry encourages Peter to have a bachelor party before the big day, he reluctantly agrees to it as things get very awkward at the party. Eddie Brock also returns to New York City as he attempts to warn Peter about the theft of his symbiote, he is reunited with Anne Weying as he confesses his true feelings for her.

It's June 12th, time is 5:54 PM at the Life Foundation headquarters in Queens, New York, Carlton Drake along with Trevor Cole and Donna Diego are heading down the restricted section of the company where a number of armed guards are keeping this place protected 24/7, they made it to the lab as Carlton Drake puts his hand on the scanner and leans in closer to have his retinas scanned, both handprint and retinas are scanned and accepted, the doors open up as they made it inside to see the Venom symbiote still in containment, but their biggest surprised is two symbiotes that have been spawned out recently, one is grayish-blue and the other one is yellow mixed with red, both are in their own containment units as this caught Mr. Drake's interests as he's turns to the scientists.

"Doctors, what are the test results?" Carlton Drake said.

"Mr. Drake, we've tested the symbiotes on monkeys, the bonding process shows promising results, the test subjects physical attributes have been greatly enhanced beyond their limitations."

The scientist hands Carlton Drake the tablet showing footages of the test where monkeys bonded to the two newly born symbiotes, improving on the hosts and displaying impressive feats as this pleased Mr. Drake's expectations.

"Impressive... why not test it out on humans?" Carlton Drake said.

"Sir?"

"You heard me, I think it's time to go straight to human trials." Carlton Drake said.

"Mr. Drake, with all due respect, I don't think you realize what we're dealing with."

"On the contrary, I know exactly what we're dealing with, alien organisms that have the ability to bond with hosts and enhances those hosts with gifts beyond imagining, and that's exactly what I'm counting on, move up human trials right now!" Carlton Drake said.

The scientist sighs. "Very well Mr. Drake, but we'll need volunteers, have any two people in mind?"

Carlton Drake chuckles. "As a matter in fact, you're looking at them."

Carlton Drake refers to Donna Diego and Trevor Cole as the perfect volunteers, he turns to them.

"Mr. Cole, Ms. Diego, I like to thank you both, you two are about to make history, taking the first step in humanity's evolution through symbiosis. Are you both ready?" Carlton Drake said.

"I am Mr. Drake." Trevor Cole said.

"I wouldn't miss the chance to become something more." Donna Diego said.

"Very well... let's get started." Carlton Drake said.

Donna Diego steps into one chamber and Trevor Coles steps into another chambers, the scientists had them sealed tightly inside as they're about to perform human trials as none of them will know the results, but Carlton Drake know otherwise, they then hook up the containment units holding each symbiote as they're waiting Mr. Drake to give the word.

Carlton Drake sighs. "Do it."

The scientist first released the grayish-blue symbiote into the chamber coming towards Trevor Cole, the yellow symbiote has been released and coming towards Donna Diego, both symbiotes approach their potential hosts simultaneously and jumped up, the bonding has started as both host are a bit frightened by what's happening as the bonding process is painful, they started screaming as Carlton Drake remains calm, but this has the scientists very concerned and worried for the test subjects agonizing inside the chambers.

"That's enough, we have to abort!"

"NO!" Carlton Drake objects to this.

"Mr. Drake, they're both dying, we have to stop this!"

"No, not yet... wait for it!" Carlton Drake tells everyone to stay put.

Everyone just watched as Donna and Trevor are still screaming until it all stopped and the bonding process has been completed, the scientists and Mr. Drake waits and watch for what happens next, they see two figures emerging, one is big and is all grayish-blue, the other one is feminine and is all yellow and red, with long hair, both of them have razor sharp teeth with white eyes displaying the same features as Venom and Carnage, the blue one display the power to form weapons from his limbs such as a mace as he then test out his power and smashes through the chamber glass with all his strength as the scientist are all screaming, the yellow one display the ability to manipulate her hair, she unleashed powerful spikes from them as they're destroying the chamber too, both are coming out as the scientists are running away in fear except for Carlton Drake who is feeling happy and proud what the symbiotes can do.

Carlton Drake smile. "So... how do you both feel?"

Riot chuckles. "Stronger!"

Scream chuckles. "And we like it!"

"I'm glad you're so pleased, you've both done it, you've achieved symbiosis and this is only the beginning, soon everyone in the world will experience symbiosis and you, Mr. Cole and Ms. Diego, you both shall make it a reallity." Carlton Drake said.

Riot chuckles. "Can't wait, but don't me Trevor... I am... Riot!"

"And call me... Scream!" Scream smile.

"Perfect... Riot, Scream, I have a mission for you, it'll be a chance to prove what you're capable of." Carlton Drake said.

Both Riot and Scream revert the symbiote back into their bodies and became Trevor Cole and Donna Diego.

"Sounds perfect." Donna Diego is very eager.

"What's the target?" Trevor Cole is also eager.

"I need you both to break out Mr. Kasady from Ravencroft, do you think you can handle that?" Carlton Drake said.

"Oh yeah!" Trevor Cole smile.

"And if we happen to run into trouble?" Donna Diego said.

"We are so close to our goal, what we're about to do will require sacrifice and nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing and no one must stand in our way, do whatever it takes, even if you have to kill for it." Carlton Drake is being serious.

Donna Diego chuckles. "With pleasure."

Trevor Cole chuckles. "Besides... who's gonna stop us?"

Later it's 6:34 PM at LaGuardia Airport in Queens just waiting in the pickup lane are a lot of people waiting to pick up their loved ones, among them are Peter and Gwen as they're standing next to Aunt May's car still waiting to pickup their very special guests for the big day, Peter checks his watch as he's getting a bit impatient wondering what's taking them so long as Gwen noticed it.

"Relax, I'm sure they're coming, jet lag and all... you know you didn't have to be here." Gwen said.

"Of course I want to be here, they're your family after all, and since we're about to get married on Saturday, meaning they'll be my family too." Peter said.

"And they'll love you too, even my dad loved you." Gwen smile.

"And I loved him too." Peter smile.

Peter and Gwen look at each other and leans for a kiss, coming out of the airport are Gwen's Uncle Arthur and her cousin Jill Stacy, traveled all the way from London, the couple stopped kissing upon spotting her relatives, smiling and waving as Gwen steps up and welcomes them with open arms, she hugs them.

"Uncle Arthur, Jill, you both made it!" Gwen still hugging.

"Of course Coz, won't miss your big day." Jill Stacy smile.

"Someone needs to walk you down the aisle and hand you off to the man you're gonna spend the rest of your life with." Arthur Stacy smile.

Gwen broke off the hug as Arthur went up to Peter and shakes.

"It's good to you again Peter, thank you for being here." Arthur Stacysaid.

"Of course, we're about to be family after all... and just so you know, the house is all set for you two to stay for the time being." Peter said.

"Perfect, let's go." Jill Stacy said.

Peter and Gwen took the luggages and putting them into the trunk of the car, Jill and Arthur are climbing into the back of the car as Peter and Gwen closed up the trunk and walks up to the front, Peter took the wheel with Gwen riding shotgun, the car is driving away from the airport.

It's 6:54 PM on a train heading to New York City, in a boxcar are a number of people who are hitching rides, among them is Eddie Brock who is homeless, wearing a cap and hoodie, still scruffy looking, determined to return back to New York City. Many minutes later the train eventually made it to the train yard in the Bronx, its slowing down as a few are departing from the boxcar, Eddie Brock jumped out and finally touched down on New York soil, he's looking far out at the city he left many months ago.

Eddie Brock sighs. "Well Eddie... you're home."

He then proceeded to heading towards the city itself as he's got a lot to do, people to see and to warn, among them is someone very dear to him.

It's 7:15 PM in Forest Hills, Queens, at the house that once belong to the late George Stacy and where Gwen lived most of her life, the place is back running with electricity and water after two years, Arthur and Jill are getting settled in upstairs, Peter and Gwen are downstairs waiting and looking around as this place as it brought back memories for Gwen.

"So... how does it feel being back here?" Peter said.

Gwen smile with a sigh. "It takes me back, back when dad was still alive, it used to be just the two of us, I would often get up for school, I'd come down and there he is, my dad in the kitchen making egg in the basket, those were the good days. This place has a lot of memories, good memories."

Peter smile as coming down the stairs are Arthur and Jill all settled in, Arthur has leather folder in his hand.

"Okay, we're all settled in, Cuz." Jill Stacy said.

"We've already got the power and water up and running, the fridge is fully stocked, unfortunately there's no internet here." Peter said.

"It's okay, this will do nicely. Actually, there's something I want to talk to you about. Please, have a seat." Arthur Stacy said.

Arthur and Jill sits on the recliner seats while Peter and Gwen are sitting together on the couch.

"Okay, what did you want to talk about?" Gwen said.

"Well, since you two are about to be joined together in marriage, I want to give you both a gift." Arthur Stacy hands Gwen the leather folder. "Here."

Gwen took the folder from her uncle and opened it for her and Peter to look at, its a document with the address of this house they're all in, Gwen then realized what this is.

"Uncle Arthur, is this what I think it is?" Gwen is curious.

"Yes, it's the deed to this house. Your father gave it me after he died, I think he wanted me to have it until the time came when I gave it to you, I believe that time is now." Arthur Stacy said.

"Oh wow... Uncle Arthur, I just don't know what to say." Gwen is still stunned.

"Just say you'll take it, this was always your home Gwen, you grew up here, made a lot of good memories... now it's time to make new ones with Peter, this is your time Gwen." Arthur Stacy encourages.

"Come on Coz, I'm sure you'll love it here, it's better than staying in that cheap apartment in the city." Jill Stacy encourages too.

Gwen smiles with a sigh. "Okay, okay... thank you so much Uncle Arthur."

"Of course, this was always your house." Arthur Stacy said.

"So, who're you inviting for the big day?" Jill Stacy said.

"Some of our closest friends from high school, like Harry who's Peter's best man, my best friend MJ who's my maid of honor, we're also inviting Randy, Betty, Flash who's coming in tomorrow from Georgia, also Liz Allan who's in Harvard, and a few others old faces, we're also inviting some of our college classmates, even Peter's colleagues from the Daily Bugle and the Daily Globe are gonna be there as well." Gwen said.

"Wow, you're both really going all out for this." Jill Stacy said.

"We want all our closest friends to be there for our special day." Peter said.

"So where and when is the wedding again?" Arthur Stacy said.

"It's this Saturday, at Saint Patrick's Cathedral, 2 PM." Gwen said.

"Wow, in just a couple days, you'll both be Mr. and Mrs. Parker." Jill Stacy said.

Peter smile. "Just two days."

Gwen smile. "Two days... well, we should get going, enjoy your stay and... thank you for giving me this house."

"I'm just glad it's back where it belongs." Arthur Stacy said.

"And don't worry Coz, we'll have it set up in time, it'll be waiting for you both, to begin your new lives together." Jill Stacy said.

Gwen walks up and hugs her uncle and cousin saying goodbye, Peter also said his goodbye too as he and Gwen are leaving the house together, Gwen is has the deed in her hand as her uncle gifted her father's house as a wedding gift. They made it out and walks up to Aunt May's car, hopping in together.

"Wow Gwen, you got your house back." Peter said.

"I have to admit, I didn't see this coming, but... I love this gift, to have a home to ourselves." Gwen said.

"Yeah, but no matter what place we live in, my home, my place, is always by your side, always." Peter smile.

"And my place is by your side too." Gwen smile.

Peter and Gwen lean in and kisses each other deeply.

"So... where to?" Peter smile.

"I'm feeling pretty hungry, why don't we drop this car off at F.E.A.S.T. and go grab ourselves a bite? How about Chinese?" Gwen smile.

"Mmm, sounds perfect." Peter smile.

Peter turns the key and ignite the engine, driving the car away from Gwen's old house heading towards the city to drop it off for Aunt May and getting some dinner.

It's 8:12 PM in Westchester County at Ravencroft Institute, outside of the gate being watched from afar is an SUV with Trevor Cole and Donna Diego observing and waiting for the opportunity to strike. Inside the institute, in the office is Dr. Ashley Kafka as she's reviewing notes on her sessions with John Jameson as he's been experiencing blackouts on certain times of the months, loss of time, no memory of anything that occurred, she's trying to determined what the all this could means, this is a very highly unusual case as this has her very concerned for John's well being, knocking on her opened door is her colleague Dr. Marla Madison.

"Hey, you're still here." Marla Madison said.

"Oh, yeah, I just needed to stay and look over somethings concerning John's case." Ashley Kafka said.

"John?" Marla Madison said.

"I mean, Mr. Jameson's case." Ashely Kafka is remaining professional as she's getting the look from Marla as this has her curious. "What?"

"Nothing, it's just... don't think I've ever heard of you calling someone by their first names before." Marla Madison said.

"John usually prefers being called John, I'm just respecting his preferences for names." Ashley Kafka said.

"Huh huh, and what is this concern you have for John?" Marla Madison said.

Ashley Kafka sighs. "Okay, in all these sessions I've done with him, he's been blacking out for periods of time in the past few months, always in the middle of the night, he would often wake up in strange place with no memory of what happened, this doesn't seem normal, this is what has me worried for John."

"Ashley, let me ask you something. Are you worried for John as a patient or as something more?" Marla Madison said.

Ashely Kafka sighs. "You know my policy, always remain professional with your patients, never get personal or form an attachment."

"I'm not judging Ashley, I know you're a doctor, and a professional one at that." Marla Madison said.

"But?" Ashley Kafka said.

"But you're also a woman, and this feeling, it's very natural." Marla Madison said.

"I'm sure it is... but John is still a patient of mine, I can't have anything more with him, that's just our reality." Ashley Kafka said.

"Listen Ashley, I think it's very noble how much you're dedicated in helping people, but even you need a life for yourself outside of work. If you want something serious with John, then you can end this and recommend another doctor for John." Marla Madison said.

"I appreciate your concern, but I'm okay, really." Ashley Kafka said.

"I'm only saying this because I care about you, not just as a colleague, but as a friend." Marla Madison said.

Ashley Kafka smile. "Thank you... so, speaking of Jameson, how's your relationship with his father?"

Marla Madison smile. "I have to admit, he was a stubborn piece of work when I first me him, but underneath all that grumpiness is a great man."

"And how great is this man?" Ashley Kafka smile.

"We pretty went out for coffee time, which then turns into dinner, and then into a great night, and we just keep on doing it, it's amazing." Marla Madison said.

"Whoa... serious, huh?" Ashley Kafka said.

"Too serious, he's even invited me as his date to the wedding happening on Saturday." Marla Madison said.

Ashley Kafka smile warmly. "I'm happy for you, Marla."

"Thanks... think about what I said, even you need a life too." Marla Madison said.

Ashley Kafka smile upon Marla encouraging her to make a life outside of her professional one, but all of a sudden they heard a noise coming from outside and the alarms have been tripped as they don't know what's going on here. Bursting inside the institute are a pair of symbiotes called Riot and Scream, a number of guards are heading towards the holding cells to fend off these intruders, but Riot forms blades from his arms and swings them at the guards, slicing and killing them with ease, Scream lashes out her sharp hairs at multiple enemies and killing them all simultaneously as this is all caught on camera. Inside the cell is Cletus Kasady still trapped in a straitjacket, he heard some commotion happening out there, the door is ripped opened by force and tossed aside as he got a perfect view of Riot and Scream, he smiles.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "Well, well, this is a surprise."

"Hello... brother." Riot smile.

Riot forms a bladed hand and cuts off the straitjacket into pieces and frees Cletus Kasady.

"Now... show us your true self, brother." Scream said.

Cletus Kasady smile as he then looks deeper into himself as he knew what's inside him, he's still focusing and waiting, coming out from within is something red and forming up all around Kassidy, Scream and Riot smiles upon seeing their brother Carnage is back and still very much alive.

Riot chuckles. "Welcome back, brother."

Carnage chuckles. "Oh, it's good to be back."

"Let go, there's someone who wants to meet you, he's got a great proposition you're gonna love to hear." Scream said.

"Hmm, sounds interesting... very well, let's not keep him waiting!" Carnage said.

Riot and Scream are coming out of the room where more security are coming into the hall, Riot and Scream were about to make their move but a red tendril was extended way past them and pierced through them, instantly killing them, the tendril pull out of them and came back to Carnage as he was the one who killed those people after months of being imprisoned, now he's got the taste for killing again.

"AHH! That felt so great!" Carnage smile.

Riot and Scream are rushing out with Carnage as the whole event has been caught on camera. Inside the office are Dr. Kafka and Madison are watching out the window to see Carnage escaping along with the two intruder, this sight of Carnage caught the both of them by surprise. All three villains made it pass the gate and are running away from Ravencroft as Kassidy has escaped again and now is back as Carnage, now that he's out there and still very dangerous, no one is safe.

It's now 8:35 PM just outside of the apartment in Lower East Side is someone looking up to a very specific apartment as he's about heading into the building, meanwhile inside the apartment, Peter and Gwen are still living here for a time being, they're in the living room sitting on the couch eating some Chinese food on their plates in their hands, with containers on the coffee table right next to the folder carrying the deed to Gwen's house along with a laptop looking up images of the Canary Islands.

"So... what do you think?" Gwen said.

Peter is chewing. "Mmm... it's beautiful, a lot of beaches, warm weather, plenty of sites to explore."

"So you like it?" Gwen said.

"I love it, perfect choice, and thanks to Tony's generosity, we can afford it." Peter said.

"That's very nice of him." Gwen smile.

Peter sighs with a smile. "To think we're about to be husband and wife in a couple days."

"I know the feeling, and honestly I'm gonna miss us being boyfriend and girlfriend." Gwen said.

"Yeah, me too, it was fun while it lasted." Peter smile.

"Mmm... which means we better make the most of it while we still can." Gwen flirts.

Peter smile as Gwen puts down her plate and Peter puts down his on the coffee table, they then proceeded to kiss each other very passionately right there on the couch, things are getting intense as Peter leans in and gently lay Gwen onto the couch still kissing each other, they want to consummate right there on the couch but all of a sudden their front door is knocking as they stopped kissing and turns their attention to the door still being knocked.

"Are you expecting anyone?" Gwen laying on the couch.

"No, are you?" Peter on top.

"No." Gwen said.

Peter sighs. "Wait here, I go check it out."

Peter gets off the couch and walks over to the door still being knocked, he opens up as he became shocked seeing someone he didn't expect to see again.

"You?!" Peter is stunned.

Gwen gets up and walks over. "Who is it, Pete?"

Peter steps aside as Gwen got a look at their mystery guest, it's none other than Eddie Brock.

"You?!" Gwen is stunned.

"Yeah... it's me... we need to talk." Eddie Brock said.

(Later)

Eddie Brock is sitting on the couch digging through Chinese takeout as he's very hungry, Peter and Gwen watched and are curious as to why he's here in their apartment, let alone why he's all stuffy and dirty, but so far he hasn't made any threats as they're still paranoid having him here.

"Any idea why he's here?" Peter said.

"No, but I think we're gonna find out." Peter said.

Peter's phone got a ping as he pull it out and checks out the alert.

"What is it, Pete?" Gwen said.

"It's Captain Watanabe, she wants to see me immediately, it's urgent." Peter said.

"Why don't you go, I'll stay here and keep an eye on him." Gwen said.

"You sure about this?" Peter said.

"Don't worry Pete, I can handle myself." Gwen said.

"Okay, but be careful, I don't why he's here, I still don't trust him." Peter said.

Eddie Brock is chewing. "Mmm, I heard that!"

Peter kiss Gwen before leaving as he's about to walk to his room to change, but he stopped and turns to Eddie Brock still eating.

"And Brock!" Peter said.

Eddie stopped eating. "What Parker?!"

"Please clean yourself up!" Peter said.

Peter went into the room to change into his costume as Eddie is confused, he then looks upon himself all dirty and sniffed his nose, saying "Oh!" as he's very dirty and needs a bath.

Later around 9:25 PM at the 13th Precinct, Dr. Marla Madison and Ashley Kafka are with Captain Yuri Watanabe being debriefed on the situation that occurred in Ravencroft as it's very bad, just knocking out the Captain's window is Spider-Man as Yuri opens it up and the hero climbs into the office as he spotted two doctors from Ravencroft.

"Spider-Man, thank you for coming." Yuri Watanabe said.

"Of course Captain, your message said it's very important." Spider-Man said.

"It is, I'm sure you already familiar with Doctors Madison and Kafka from Ravencroft." Yuri Watanabe said.

"Sure, what's this about?" Spider-Man said.

"It's Kasady, he's escaped, again." Yuri Watanabe said.

Spider-Man is stunned and terrified by this news. "How?"

"You better see for yourself, our two doctors brought us footages from Ravencroft, just watch." Yuri Watanabe said.

Yuri hands Spidey the tablet and plays footages from Ravencroft, he spotted two symbiotes breaking into the institute, killing and overpowering security inside, but his biggest surprise is the return of Carnage who went back to killing the second he was broke loose from his cell, he escaped with two unknown symbiotes and now is on the loose

"Carnage... it can't be, it's impossible." Spider-Man is stunned.

"I wish it were, but we both saw it with our own eyes, it's Carnage." Marla Madison said.

"What about these two unknown individuals, have you and your team ever encounter more of these monsters?" Yuri Watanabe said.

"No, never, but I may know who to turn." Spider-Man said.

"We've already issued a state manhunt for Kasady, we're gonna alert the media of his escaped, be on the lookout." Yuri Watanabe said.

"Yeah, I know, no one is safe, we all know how dangerous Carnage is. I'll get my team on it." Spider-Man said.

Coming into the office is Mayor Jameson along with his son John, they came as soon as they heard about Kasady's escape from Ravencroft, they spotted Marla Madison and Ashley Kafka alive and unharmed, the doctors got up from the seats.

"Marla." Jameson came up and hugs Marla in relief. "Thank god you're alright."

"I'm okay, Jonah, really." Marla still being hugged.

"As soon as I heard that psycho Kasady broke out, I thought something might've happened to you." Jameson still hugging.

Yuri Watanabe coughs. "Mr. Mayor, we need to get in front of this, let the public know about Kasady's escape."

Jameson broke off the hug. "Ah, yeah, anything to catch this menace, and I don't mean this one standing right here."

"Ouch!" Spider-Man felt hurt.

"Whatever, I need to call the media, set up a press conference." Jameson said.

Mayor Jameson pulls out his phone and starts making his call as he exits the office, John is looking at Dr. Kafka as he too is relieved she's alright.

"Hi John." Ashley Kafka said.

"Dr. Kakfa, I came as soon as I heard, I'm glad that you're alright too." John said.

"Oh... thanks for your concerned, John." Ashley Kafka said.

"Yeah, I mean... you're my doctor, you've always been there for me, cared about me and... I care about you too." John being shy.

"That's... very sweet." Ashley Kafka is also shy too.

"Well... I should go and check on my dad, it's nice seeing you again."

"You too John." Ashley Kafka said.

John gave a warm smile before leaving as Marla turns to Ashley blushing as she noticed she's being looked at, she looks away still feeling shy, Marla smiles.

"I should get going, keep in the loop Captain." Spider-Man said.

"Will do... be careful out there." Yuri Watanabe said.

"Yeah, we all need to." Spider-Man feeling uneasy.

Spider-Man is climbing out of the window and swings away as he's on alert more than ever with Carnage on the loose, he has every reason to be worried, no one in New York City is safe.

It's 9:33 PM at Brooklyn Vision Academy as Miles, Anya, Ganke, Tiana, Sam, and Danika are coming up to the campus as they all just got back from their date night watching the movies in the neighborhood, they all seemed happy and having fun.

"Wow, that movie is epic." Miles smile.

"I know, tell me about it." Sam smile.

"Seriously, you boys are all about action." Tiana said.

"I know, right?" Anya said.

"Oh come on Anya, not like you enjoyed the action." Sam smile.

"Okay, point taken, the only I like is enjoying a night out with my boyfriend." Anya smile.

"And I'm glad my girlfriend didn't leave early this time." Sam smile.

"Too bad you're stuck with me." Anya flirts.

Anya and Sam kiss each other right there on campus.

"It was so worth it." Sam flirts.

"If that's how you feel, how about being my date on Saturday? A couple of ours friends are getting married, want to come with me as my plus one?" Anya said.

"I'd be honored." Sam smile.

"How about you Ti? Wanna be my plus one?" Miles said.

"Sounds perfect, so yeah, I'll be your date." Tiana smile.

"And you Danika, will you be my plus one?" Ganke said.

"Yeah, I'll go with you." Danika said.

"Okay, I guess we're all going, tomorrow I got pick out a tux." Miles said.

"Yeah, I'll need a tux too." Sam said.

"Me three." Ganke said.

"Now that you mentioned it, us girls need to wear something nice too." Tiana said.

"I guess we're going shopping tomorrow." Anya said.

"I'm in." Danika said.

Sam yawns. "I'm gonna crash for the night, so I'll see you guys tomorrow?"

"Yeah." Miles said.

"Sure thing." Ganke said.

"Okay, goodnight everyone!" Sam walks and waves goodnight.

"I could use some shut eye too, goodnight Miles." Tiana smile.

"Goodnight Ti." Miles said.

Miles and Tiana kiss each other goodnight as she went inside, Ganke and Danika did the same and she went inside the school as Miles, Anya, and Ganke are still outside on campus until they're getting text messages from their friend Peter, needing all three of them to meet up at the Spider-Cave, saying it's urgent, this has them concerned if their friend wants them all together.

It's 9:51 PM back in Lower East Side, inside the apartment's bathroom is Eddie Brock still taking a long hot shower cleaning himself up, he just finished up as he shuts off the water and gets out to dry up. Gwen is in the living room coming with some clean clothes in her hands, she knocks on the door, it opens up partially as Eddie is hiding himself behind the door looking all wet.

"Yeah?" Eddie hiding behind the door.

"Here, I got your some clothes." Gwen holding some clothes.

"Oh... thanks." Eddie Brock said.

Eddie reached his arm out and took the clothes in his hand, he then closed the door for privacy as Gwen went back to the living room and waited, about a minute later Eddie Brock came out of the room where a black t shirt and blue jeans as they're a bit tight for his very muscular physique, he still has his scuffy hair and beard, he walks around as a bedroom window is opening up in the other room.

"It's a bit too tight for me." Eddie Brock said.

"They're Peter's and it's all we got, but it's better than going around stinking up the place in dirty clothes." Gwen said.

"Right... thanks." Eddie Brock as he noticed Gwen still looking at him with curiosity. "I'm guessing you must have questions."

"Actually we do!" Spider-Man's voice.

The bedroom door opens up as Spider-Man just came back from the precinct as he takes off his mask looking very serious.

"Cause I have so many question to ask you, especially in light of recent events!" Peter isn't too happy.

"What's going on?!" Gwen said.

"Kasady has escaped!" Peter said.

"What?!" Gwen is stunned.

"That's right, Kasady is back as Carnage, his symbiote is still alive, and it gets interesting, he was freed by two individuals, both of them having their very own symbiotes, they busted Carnage out of Ravencroft." Peter said.

"More symbiotes? How is that possible?" Gwen is more surprised.

"Why don't we ask him?! Was this you Eddie?!" Peter getting intense.

"What? No!" Eddie Brock protests.

"WAS THIS YOU?!" Peter raise his voice.

"NO! I'M TELLING YOU THIS ISN'T ME!" Eddie raised his voice.

"Why should I believe you?!" Peter said.

"Cause I don't have my symbiote anymore!" Eddie told the truth.

Peter looks surprised. "What?"

"That's why I'm here, what I wanted to tell you, my symbiote, it was taken away from me." Eddie Brock said.

Peter and Gwen don't seemed convinced by his words.

"And you don't believe me?" Eddie Brock said.

"Can you blame us?" Gwen said.

"You came after us both times, went after our families, what did you expect? You honestly believe we'd forget everything you've done and be best friends? Is that it?" Peter said.

"Let me be clear Parker, I not trying to be your friend, I don't care about you or your family, but I have no interest in hurting you anymore. Whether you believe me or not, that's your problem. But I'm telling the truth, I don't have my symbiote anymore." Eddie Brock said.

Peter sighs. "Fine... say I do believe you, any idea who took your symbiote?"

"No, it happened last month in San Francisco, I was about to relocate after showing myself as Venom during that disaster on the Golden Gate Bridge." Eddie Brock said.

"Vision told me, you saved someone that day." Peter said.

"And as a result, I let everyone know where I was, anyway I was about to leave my apartment and the city, but I was followed and chased by these men in SUVs, they had me cornered, at first I assumed they must've been government agents, but they didn't want me, they just wanted the symbiote." Eddie Brock said.

"Who are they?" Peter said.

"I don't know, but they knew everything, eventhe symbiote's weakness, they had these sonic weapons, they didn't hesitate to use them on me, all that painful noise forced my symbiote to separate from my body, afterwards they captured the symbiote and left me behind, they left with my symbiote in their possession." Eddie Brock said.

"And all this happened last month? You didn't think to give us a heads up?" Peter said.

"Oh, I'm sorry, in case you forgotten, I'm pretty much broke and homeless, it took me a month to get here, I just got into town hours ago, took me a while to figure out where you lived and I had to keep a low profile since I'm still a fugitive of the law, this is something I had to say in person." Eddie Brock said.

"Okay, fair enough, so you think that the same people who stole the symbiote are the same ones who broke Kassidy out?" Peter said.

"You got another explanation how they got their symbiotes?" Eddie Brock said.

"No, we know that symbiotes can reproduce, they must've created offsprings from the Venom symbiote." Gwen said.

"And now they've just broken out Kasady who still has his symbiote, it feels like they're all connected." Peter said.

"Yeah, but why break out Kasady just now? He's been locked up for months." Gwen said.

"Unless somehow they knew that Kasady still has his symbiote inside him." Peter said.

"How could they know?" Gwen said.

"I don't know, but right now we need to figure where Kasady is, now that he's just got back the taste of killing again, he's not gonna stop, no one in New York is safe. I've already texted our friends, they're gonna met us at the Spider-Cave." Peter said.

"Let's not keep them waiting, let's get going." Gwen said.

Peter and Gwen are about to leave as they stopped and turning to Eddie Brock who is still around.

"And what about him?" Gwen is curious.

"It's fine, I'll just get out of here." Eddie Brock said.

"And go where? You're still wanted and everyone in New York knows who you are." Gwen said.

Peter sighs. "He can stay, he might still be helpful, besides we can't have who took the symbiote know that Brock is back. We have an empty bedroom with a mattress still available, help yourself."

Eddie Brock sighs. "Thanks."

"Just stay out of trouble... let's go Gwen." Peter said.

Peter and Gwen are going into the bedroom as she needs to change into her costume, Eddie Brock is given shelter here for the time being.

It's 10:16 PM at the Spider-Cave, Miles and Anya are in their suits with their friend Ganke, all are still waiting for their teammates to arrive as this sounded important for all of them to be together, just coming into the tunnel are Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider as they see their friends are already here and waiting for them, they both take off their masks about to debrief them on the situation that is extremely bad for all of New York.

"Miles, Anya, Ganke, thank you all for coming, sorry we're a bit late, we have a... unexpected guest staying with us." Peter said.

"A guest?" Anya said.

"Long story." Gwen said.

"Okay... so why are we all here? Your message said it was urgent." Miles is curious.

"It is... Cletus Kasady has escaped from Ravencroft." Peter said.

"Kasady? He's escaped?!" Anya said.

"It gets worse, he still has the symbiote, he's back to being Carnage again." Peter said.

"How's that possible? We all saw the symbiote burn to ashes with our own eyes!" Miles said.

"Maybe not all of it, a piece of the symbiote must've been inside him and we didn't know it." Gwen said.

"We think the symbiote must've regenerated itself all these months, just waiting to be unleashed again." Peter said.

Anya sighs. "I can't believe he's back."

"I know, none of us saw this coming, but there's more, that mystery guest who's staying with us, it's Eddie Brock." Peter said.

"Brock, we haven't heard that name in a while. What's he doing back in New York?" Miles said.

"To warn us, just last month an unknown group came after him in San Francisco, they took his symbiote. Just recently we learned that Carnage was freed by unknown individuals, both of them bonded to their own symbiotes." Peter said.

"Oh great, so now we've got two more symbiotes to deal with." Miles said.

"Why would they break out Carnage out? For what purpose?" Ganke said.

"We're not sure, it's like they need him for something, but either way, we have to find him." Peter said.

"This psycho came after my dad, tried to kill him, he could try again." Anya said.

"Let's not forget he could come after us too, since we were the ones who put him away, he might still have an axe to grind." Miles said.

"Yeah, we all need to be careful, he still has Venom's immunity to our spider sense, so we can't sense him coming." Peter said.

"And if these new symbiotes work the same way, we can't sense them either." Gwen said.

"So we have no idea when and where they'll strike." Miles said.

"Let's split up, Miles, Anya, keep an eye on Gilberto, just in case Carnage still wants to come back for revenge." Peter said.

"We can do, what are you both gonna do?" Miles said.

"We're gonna go patrol around the city, the entire NYPD is on alert and Mayor Jameson is about to notify the public on Kasady's escape, as long as he's out there, no one in the city is safe. Let's go do our jobs, the minute any of us get a lead on Kassidy or his accomplices, let us know immediately, got it?" Peter said.

"Got it." Anya said.

"I'll stick around and monitor any updates on the case." Ganke said.

Peter, Gwen, Miles, and Anya are putting their mask back on and left to protect the city as Carnage is back and everyone is in danger.

It's 11:23 PM at the Life Foundation Headquarters in Queens as a black sedan is coming up to the security booth as the window rolls down and Trevor Cole along with Donna Diego are showing their ID cards, security lets them through as it drives past the booth and parks itself at the entrance, Trevor and Donna are getting out along with Cletus Kasady who's in the back, he's looking up at the company as he's more curious who these people are and what their interest in him is. Trevor and Donna are escorting Kasady inside the building, they're walking around the restricted section till they made it to the private lab where the Venom symbiote is still in containment, standing here in the lab waiting is none other than Carlton Drake as he seemed happy seeing Kasady here, he walks up and extends his hand.

"Mr. Kasady, welcome... the name's Carlton Drake." Carlton Drake introduced himself.

Kasady took his hand and shakes.

"Nice to meet you." Carlton Drake said as he then turns to Donna and Trevor. "We're you followed?"

"No, we've kept a low profile, waited hours to move around undetected." Trevor Cole said.

"Not to worry, no one was following us, we're all clear." Donna Diego said.

"Excellent, I trust you're grateful to your brother and sister for your early release." Carlton Drake said.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "Oh yeah, I thought about leaving and getting back to my thirst for killing, but I'm curious... who would go through so much trouble just to free moi?"

"Someone who envies the gift you have, you're one of the few, the first... I have great plans for this world and I'd like for you to play a huge role in it, that is if you're still interested." Carlton Drake said.

"Mmm... I'm listening." Cletus Kasady is very interested.

"I'm about to initiate a mission into space, one where you along your brother and sister will participate in reshaping all of humanity." Carlton Drake said.

"Hmm, and how exactly are you going to do that?" Cletus Kasady said.

"There's a secret buried on the dark side of the moon, a secret kept hidden for more than 50 years, this secret is called GRENDEL." Carlton Drake said.

"Interesting, what is GRENDAL?" Cletus Kasady said.

"GRENDAL is the key to humanity's survival, it's well hidden on the moon but we don't have the exact location, but I know where to find it. Once we get the location, we'll send all three of you to the moon, there you'll retrieve GRENDEL, once you do, you'll be able to unleash symbiosis upon the entire world." Carlton Drake said.

"Symbiosis? Are you saying there's more of us out there?" Cletus Kasady said.

"Yes, many more, symbiotes are the key to saving this broken world from total annihilation, and all three of you will soon make it a reality. So Carnage, are you in or are you out?" Carlton Drake said.

"Sounds very intriguing... I'm in." Cletus Kasady said.

"Perfect, together we're about to change this world." Carlton Drake smile.

Cletus Kasady agreed to join Carlton Drake's cause into bringing symbiosis to the entire world, and the only way to make it a reality is through this secret called GRENDAL.

It's June 13th, time is 7:20 AM at the apartment in Lower East Side, Peter and Gwen are both in the kitchen brewing some coffee and making wheatcakes and eggs together, inside the bathroom is Eddie Brock who is in front of the sink filled with cut hairs, he just finished up shaving and turns off the water, he grabs a towel and wipes his face as he went back to his regular hairstyle. A few minutes later, he's coming out of the bathroom as Peter and Gwen spotted him looking like his old self again, he came up to the table as Peter hands him a plate of wheatcakes and eggs.

"What's this?" Eddie Brock said.

"It's called breakfast, today it's wheatcakes and eggs... but hey if you don't want it, then..." Peter the pulls the plate away.

"Wait... fine, I'll take it." Eddie Brock said.

Peter hands back the plate as Eddie Brock grabs and sprinkle some pepper onto the eggs, he grabs a fork and starts chowing down, he even took a slice of wheatcakes and chews on it, his eyes widen as he seems to like it and shallows it.

"So... still no sign of Kasady?" Eddie Brock as he's still eating.

Peter sighs. "No... he's gone underground, so far no one has been killed, which is strange since he's addicted to killing, but he hasn't killed anyone after his escape, he hasn't even came after Gilberto."

"Maybe the people who helped them are keeping him on a short leash." Eddie Brock said.

"Well speaking of "these" people, what can you tell us about them?" Peter said.

"Not much, except they seem very shady, move with perfect precision and were well prepared, they could be mercenaries, possibly ex-military." Eddie Brock said.

"Did you see any of their faces?" Peter said.

"Just two of them, a man and a woman, they're the ones who used the sonic weapons on me, took away my symbiote." Eddie Brock said.

"Huh, that's interesting." Peter said.

"What is?" Gwen said.

"One of the symbiotes who help breakout Kasady, looked female." Peter said.

"Then it's gotta be the same pair who stole my symbiote, they're definitely involved." Eddie Brock said.

"You think you could recognize them?" Peter said.

"Oh yeah, I never those faces." Eddie Brock said.

"Okay, we'll bring you by the Spider-Cave later to look up any residence living in New York, anyone with military background and their photo, if they're in there, you'll be able to ID them." Peter said.

"Sure, anything to catch these guys." Eddie Brock said.

Gwen then checks her phone to see the text from her old friends.

"What is it, Gwen?" Peter is curious.

"It's Liz, she just arrived in town, and a few of our old friends are in town as well." Gwen said.

"Oh... the wedding... shoot." Peter sighs in disappointment. "We're gonna have to postpone this whole thing."

"Wait, cancel our wedding? Are you serious?" Gwen is stunned.

"I know Gwen, I don't like this anymore than you do... damnit! This whole thing couldn't happen at a worst time! This psycho just now loose and the wedding is tomorrow... Goddamnit!" Peter is very disappointed.

Gwen sighs. "You got a point, we can't ask our loved ones to endanger their lives... I'll call everyone and tell them the wedding is off."

"Like hell it is!" Eddie Brock stood up.

"Brock..." Peter said.

"There's no way you two are gonna cancel your wedding because of this sick psycho! You know why? Cause you're gonna stop him and I'm gonna help you!" Eddie Brock said.

"Eddie, why do care?" Peter said.

"I don't, but I'm doing this for Anne, Kasady hurt her, even threatened to kill her, I want to see him taken down as much as you do, they only way she's gonna be safe, for everyone to be safe, is to stop Carnage. So like it or not, I'm with you guys til this is over." Eddie Brock said.

"He's right, it won't matter if we cancel this wedding, Kasady will be still be dangerous to everyone, we need to stop him, that's the only way we can keep everyone safe." Gwen said.

Peter sighs. "Okay, the wedding is still on... let's go find this bastard, take him down once and for all."

"Okay, we'll have to do that later. We gotta get to school, Harry is gonna meet us there." Gwen said.

Peter sighs. "Right, he's probably gonna try to talk me into having a bachelor party like he's been doing for months."

Gwen smie. "It might not be so bad."

"Seriously, you're encouraging this? If I know Harry, he's probably gonna invite some dancers and things could get crazy." Peter said.

"Probably, but it would nice to see some old faces, besides this is your chance to have some fun while you can... please Pete, do it for me." Gwen smile.

Peter sighs with a smile. "Fine, for you."

"Thank you." Gwen smile.

"Just promise me your bachelorette party isn't gonna go crazy." Peter said.

"No promises." Gwen said.

Peter and Gwen kiss each other as they're about to head to their bedroom to get ready for school, Eddie Brock is in the dining room having breakfast alone as he's thinking about someone, Anne Weying, he hasn't seen her in months since he left this city, a part of him wants to see her again, but he's still afraid how she'd react to seeing him again.

It's 12:04 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy as the entire school is on break, students are having lunch or hanging around campus chatting, among them are Miles and Anya are yawning as they're both feeling pretty tired and having some coffee as this caught Tiana, Danika, and Sam's attention, wondering what's kept them up all night.

"Are you both okay? You seem like neither of you got any decent sleep?" Tiana is worried.

"Yeah... we're just a bit on edge, with this news on Kasady's escape, it's kept me up all night." Miles said.

"And who is this Kassidy guy anyway?" Sam said.

"Oh right, you're still new to this... Kasady is a serial killer who became the supervillain called Carnage, months ago he committed a lot of atrocities in New York, killed so many innocent people, he's a monster, and I do mean literally." Danika explained about Carnage.

"I can't believe he's back." Anya is terrified.

"Why? What's got you so worried?" Sam said.

Anya sighs. "Kasady tried to kill my father."

"Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't know." Sam said.

"That day scared me, I came close to losing my father, and now this psycho is back, bringing all this up again." Anya feeling afraid.

"Hey... everything is gonna be fine, your dad is gonna be okay." Sam comforts her.

"Sam... hold me." Anya needs comfort.

Sam came up and hugs Anya in his arms as she needs it more than ever, she's still afraid for her father's life now that Kasady is out again.

Danika is feeling sympathetic. "Hey, I'm sure nothing bad is gonna happen to your dad, besides there's been no reports of anyone dying since he escaped, everyone's still looking for him, I'm sure the heroes will capture this psycho before we know it."

"I'm sure Danika is right." Tiana agrees.

Anya smile. "Thanks... all of you."

"Hey, that's what friends are for." Miles said.

"So... are we still on for shopping later?" Tiana smile.

"Definitely. Come on Anya, I'm sure you need this." Danika said.

Anya smile. "Okay... I'm in."

"Sounds like a good idea, still need to rent out a tux for tomorrow." Miles said.

Miles, Anya, and Ganke are getting their mind off of Kassidy, focusing more on tomorrow's wedding, hoping it's still on as everyone needs something good to happen, especially during this unexpected trouble time.

It's around 3:33 PM in Murray Hill as walking on the sidewalk towards the apartment is Anne Weying as she holding coffee just coming back home from class unaware she's being watched, she's arriving at her door pulling out her keys as she's hearing footsteps coming her way, she pulls the keys away from the knob and goes for the pepper spray on the keychain, she turns around and faces the stranger wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses in a gray hoodie as he raised his hands up.

"Don't come any closer... who are you?" Anne Weying holding the pepper spray.

This guy is slowly pulling down the hood, taking off his cap and went for his sunglasses as he revealed himself as Eddie Brock, Anne is stunned to see him again after so many months.

"Eddie." Anne Weying said.

"Hey Anne." Eddie Brock smile warmly.

The pair are reunited after being apart for months, both are taking in each other's presence.

It's 3:45 PM at the Coffee Bean in Tribeca as Peter and his best friend Harry are both having coffee together while the news is still showing a photo of Cletus Kassidy to all the media everywhere as some people are still on edge with a serial killer on the loose, this also has Peter worried, especially since the wedding is tomorrow.

"The massive manhunt for escaped fugitive Cletus Kasady is still going on, if you spot him, notify the authorities immediately and stay out of sight as he is considered to be extremely dangerous, it's been 15 hours since his escape and he's nowhere to be sighted..."

Harry sighs. "And this couldn't happen at a worst time."

Peter sighs. "I know Harry, none of us saw this coming, Kassidy escaping just only days before the wedding, it still has me worried, I even consider canceling the wedding for everyone's safety."

"Don't Pete, you can't let some psycho keep you and Gwen from joining in holy matrimony, you both been together for years, its about time you both tie the knot. All of our old classmates are here, including Flash and Liz, everything is set for tomorrow, so just look forward to spending the rest of your days with Gwen in marriage." Harry said.

"That's the only thing keeping me going, my future with Gwen." Peter smile.

"Attaboy... speaking of which, we really need to talk about the most important thing that must be done before tomorrow?" Harry smile.

"Which is..." Peter said.

"Your bachelor party." Harry smile.

"Seriously Harry, you're still on that." Peter said.

"Come on Pete, this is gonna be your last night as a free man before you tie the knot with Gwen, your last night of having some great fun." Harry trying to encourage.

"Harry, I don't this is such a great idea, especially given recent events." Peter is against it.

"It's because of these events that you need this, you need to feel happy while you can. Please don't make me beg, all our old friends are already here and they're anxious to spend some time with you before the big day... come on Pete, it's just one night." Harry encourages some more.

Peter sighs as he looks at Harry, he rolls his eyes with a smile. "A bachelor party sounds like fun."

"Yes!" Harry is excited.

"But no exotic dancers." Peter stated.

Harry sighs in reluctance. "Deal."

Harry raise his fist to Peter, Peter bumps fists with Harry in agreement as the bachelor party is still on tonight.

It's 3:55 PM back in Murray Hill, inside the apartment of Anne Weying, she's brewing coffee from the K-Cup maker, she hands the mug to Eddie who took it, she sits down as she and Eddie are about to do a lot of catching up on what's happened since they parted ways many months ago.

"So where have you been all this time, Eddie?" Anne Weying asking.

"San Francisco, that where I've been living these past months, I just couldn't stay in New York, not after that incident with Carnage." Eddie Brock said.

"I just heard, I can't believe he's back again." Anne Weying said.

"I came back when my symbiote was stolen, took me a month, but I'm here. I didn't expect to hear about Kasady's escape, as soon as I heard, I had to come see you." Eddie Brock said.

"When did you come back to New York?" Anne Weying said.

"Anne..." Eddie Brock is being hesitant.

"When?" Anne Weying said.

Eddie Brock sighs. "I came back yesterday."

Anne Weying nods her head. "Yesterday... and you didn't think to come see me?"

"I did... but I couldn't." Eddie Brock said.

"Why?" Anne Weying said.

"Cause I was ashamed, what happened last time I was here, I almost killed Spider-Man right in front of you, I was afraid you still saw me as a *sighs* monster." Eddie Brock said.

Anne could see the guilt in Eddie's eyes. "Eddie... you were never a monster."

"How could you say that?" Eddie Brock said.

"Cause I know you, I know the kind of man you are Eddie, a man who had his struggles in life, but deep down you were good. You had a chance to take Spider-Man's life, but you didn't." Anne Weying said.

"You want to know why I didn't?" Eddie Brock said.

"Why Eddie?" Anne Weying said.

"You... I did it for you, you were the only thing that made me strong, kept me human... Anne, the real reason I came back is... because I love you... I love you Anne." Eddie Brock confessed his feelings.

Anne is still in shocked upon Eddie confessing his love for her, he's starting to feel withdrawn upon confessing to Anne as he's still not sure how she feels.

Eddie Brock sighs. "I.. should get going."

Eddie got up as he's about to walk away to leave the apartment, but Anne quickly got up and got a hold of his hand, stopped him from leaving.

"Eddie, don't go." Anne Weying said.

"Anne, there's something I have to do." Eddie Brock said.

"Please... stay." Anne Weying said.

Eddie couldn't bring himself to leave Anne again, he turns around as she leans in and kisses Eddie in the lips, he then kiss back passionately as the two are giving into their feelings for one another, Anne then took his hand and leads Eddie to the bedroom, the two entered and got back to kissing before closing the door shut.

It's 4:19 PM at the Life Foundation Headquarters as Carlton Drake is coming in the hallway in the restricted section in the company of Trevor and Diego as they approached the most secure door guarded by two armed men as they open up the door for Mr. Drake, he enters the room to find Cletus Kasady still in the middle of eating so much food and enjoying himself, Mr. Drake then looks at several dead bodies here and blood spatters on the walls as Kasady got back to his habit of killing again, he made quite a mess here.

"How's your lunch, Mr. Kasady?" Carlton Drake said.

Cletus Kasady chewing on chicken. "Mmm, so good... oh, sorry about room service, I got a little bored and I just can't help myself."

Carlton Drake sighs. "No matter... if you're crave killing so much, I have a mission for you."

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "Excelente, I love killing!"

"Good, cause your brother and sister are joining you for this. There's this facility here in the New York Bay, it's very well-guarded, you're to break into the archive room and retrieve everything related to GRENDEL, the minute you do, you get the hell out of the facility and come back straight here with the data." Carlton Drake said.

"And where exactly are we breaking into?" Cletus Kasady said.

"S.H.I.E.L.D., the facility you're breaking into belong to S.H.I.E.L.D... Is that going to be a problem for you Mr. Kasady?" Carlton Drake said.

Cletus Kasady chuckles. "On contraire, I'd kill for the chance. And if by some miracles I happen to run into those spiders, I'm gonna enjoy making mince meat out of them. Those four are gonna wish they had killed me when I'm done with them, I'll see to it they'll suffer greatly!"

Kasady chuckles as he's about to get back into the action soon, he's also anxious to exact his revenge on the four heroes who are responsible for his downfall.

It's 4:55 PM back in the apartment in Murray Hill, in the bedroom are clothes laying on the floor as laying on the bed itself are Eddie and Anne resting together, Eddie laid on his back with Anne rest her head on his chest as they had intercourse recently, they both felt happy.

Anne smile. "Wow..."

"Yeah... I can't believe we did it. We should've done this long ago." Eddie Brock smile too.

"It really took you so long to tell me you loved me?" Anne Weying said.

"Honestly Anne, we've been friends for a long time, I was afraid that's all you saw me as, I didn't want to mess that up." Eddie Brock said.

"Tell you the truth Eddie, I did have feelings for you too, I didn't say anything either." Anne Weying said.

"Still, I'm glad I finally said it, you're the only good thing in my life." Eddie Brock said.

Eddie leans in and kisses Anne as this is the best feeling in his entire life, he looks at the clock next to the bed checking out the time, he realized he's needed elsewhere, he's getting off the bed and picks up the clothes he's been wearing and started dressing up as Anne is curious as to why he's getting dressed.

"What are you doing?" Anne Weying said.

"I have somewhere to be, I need to help Spider-Man in his mission to take down Carnage." Eddie Brock said.

"Eddie, no, you can't! You said it yourself, you don't have the symbiote anymore!" Anne Weying protests.

"It doesn't matter Anne, I have to do this!" Eddie Brock said.

"Why Eddie? Why does it have to be you?" Anne Weying said.

"Cause I'm responsible for all this, I made so many mistakes in my life, and this is one of them, the biggest one... my hatred for Spider-Man drove me to create this monster, I broke Kasady out, gave him his symbiote, I created Carnage... Anne, please understand, I can't let this go... I have to do this, for you... and for me." Eddie Brock made up his mind.

Anne looks at Eddie being more brave than he ever was, he wants to rectify his mistakes, starting by helping Spider-Man take down the very monster he created, for once in his life, he's doing something very noble and selfless.

Anne Weying sighs calmly. "Go..."

"Anne... I promise you, I'll come back for you." Eddie Brock said.

Eddie lean in closer to Anne and kisses her right there on the bed before leaving the room and the apartment, he's on his way back to help Spider-Man in his mission to take down Carnage.

It's 5:33 PM at the apartment in Lower East Side, Gwen and Peter are discussing with Mary Jane about tonight's bachelorette party, here are Miles, Anya, and Ganke waiting for Eddie Brock to come back to help identify possible suspects for him to point out, but they're still a bit on edge with Carnage still on the loose.

"So where is Brock?" Miles said.

Peter sighs. "I don't know, he said he wants to help, but when we came back, he was already gone."

"Any idea where he could've gone to?" Anya said.

"I have some suspicions." Gwen said.

"Well, while we wait? How was your day, you three?" Mary Jane said.

"It went well, we've went shopping around Brooklyn, got the perfect suits for tomorrow." Miles said.

"And we're each bringing our plus ones." Ganke said.

"I just hope we can stop Kasady before tomorrow." Anya said.

"We all do, he still hasn't shown himself lately or killed anyone." Peter said.

"That we know of, I don't think he's capable of suppressing his urge to kill." Anya said

"You have a point, he's gonna kill again, we just don't know where and when." Peter said.

Just coming into the apartment is Eddie Brock taking off his cap and sunglasses as this caught everyone's attention and surprised a few to see him again in the flesh.

"Well I'll be damned." Mary Jane said.

Eddie Brock sighs. "Hey Mary Jane, long time."

"Sure has, last time I saw you you shoved me down and beat the hell out of my best friend." Mary Jane said.

"MJ..." Peter said.

Mary Jane sighs. "Fine... welcome back Eddie."

"Appreciate it." Eddie Brock said.

"Okay, now that we're all on somewhat friendly terms, can we get back to the matter at hand?" Peter said.

"Sure." Eddie Brock said.

"This here is Ganke Lee, he's pretty much our IT guy, computers are his thing, Miles and Anya are gonna take you to the Spider-Cave, they're gonna show you a list of suspects, if the two people you saw are in it, you'll be able to point them out and hopefully it'll give us some leads." Peter said.

"Good, the sooner we take down Carnage, the better." Eddie Brock said.

"Amen to that." Anya agrees.

"Well, let's get to it." Eddie Brock said.

"We're all heading out, good luck at your parties." Miles said.

"Thanks, the minute anything turns up, call us and we'll be there." Peter said.

"Will do, let's go." Miles said.

Miles, Anya, and Ganke are gonna take Eddie to their Spider-Cave and get started on identifying the two people who stole the symbiote last month.

"In the meantime, we should get ready, our bachelorette party awaits us. As for you Tiger, you better dress you in something nice." Mary Jane smile.

Peter smile. "Right, the bachelor party, this should be interesting."

"Just have some fun, Pete. Do it for me." Gwen smile.

Peter smile. "Okay Gwennie, for you."

Gwen walks up and kisses Peter before walking to one of the bedrooms Mary Jane getting ready for the bachelorette party, he watched as his fiancée is heading to have fun. Meanwhile he gets ready for his big night out with his friends, he's starts dressing himself up black dress pants with a dark blue dress shirt, he puts on a black suit jacket and just finished dressing himself up and looks at the mirror, he smiles as he looks very fancy for tonight.

Time is 6:16 PM in Chinatown at F.E.A.S.T., the entire shelter is super busy as May is still doing her job in leading it while she can before tomorrow, here are Rio Morales about two months pregnant, she's still teaching first aid to the homeless, Martin Li works here as an employee, he just finished his shift as he pulls out the meds from his pocket and took them to suppress his Mister Negative personality, he finished up on his medication as May came by to check up on him.

"How are you feeling?" May said.

"I'm still me, thank you for asking... by the way, congratulations, you must be so happy." Martin Li smile.

"I am, my nephew is about to marry the love of his life tomorrow." May is happy.

Coming in to join the conversation is Rio Morales.

"I couldn't help but overhear how excited you are for your nephew's wedding." Rio Morales smile.

"I knew this day was coming, Gwen is about to join our family, soon to be my niece-in-law... and how are you feeling Rio?" May said.

"I feel pretty healthy, and the baby too. Me and Jeff went to the doctor for an ultrasound, we heard her first heartbeat." Rio smile.

"Her?" May is surprise.

"Yes, it's a girl, I'm having a daughter, Miles will have a little sister soon." Rio smile.

"That's wonderful, congratulations Rio... Are we going to see you tomorrow?" May smile.

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it, neither would Jeff. Miles called, told me he's already got a suit and bringing his girlfriend tomorrow." Rio said.

"I'm glad you're all set, I just need to finish up here, make sure this shelter is running perfect tight for tomorrow." May said.

"Actually... I could look after the shelter while you're attending your nephew's wedding." Martin Li said.

"Really? Are you sure?" May said.

"Yeah, it wouldn't be the first time I ran the shelter, besides I'd figure you want to be there for your nephew on his big day." Martin Li said.

May smile warmly. "Thank you so much, Li."

May is happy she'll have more time for herself tomorrow, since her nephew Peter is marrying Gwen, she doesn't want to miss it, Rio is gonna be there too with her family, Martin Li will keep an eye on the shelter on the big day.

It's 7:51 PM out in the New York Bay, on the private island is the Triskelion, headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D., the entire place is well guarded by agents armed with deadly weapons and state-of-the-art security, the guards outside patrolling around the island, unknown to any of them roaming around within the water are a few unexpected guests, bubbles are forming to the surface, this caught the attention of the agent on the docks as he moves in closer for a look, but a tendril came out and thrust into the agent, killing him, it then pulled back into the water along with the dead agent, blood is forming up as coming out of the water is Carnage along with Riot and Scream as they made it to the Triskelion and looks up at the tower.

Carnage chuckles. "Oh! We're gonna have so much fun! Time to party!"

Carnage along with Riot and Scream are making their move and heads towards the building itself.

It's 8:02 PM at a luxurious night club in the city, Peter is coming in with his best friend Harry dressed in fancy suits as the entire club is welcoming the man of the hour and music is playing, Peter smile upon seeing Randy along with Brad Davis and Darius LeClerc from ESU, also here are Flash Thompson along with former classmates Kenny Kong and Jason Ionello, Ned Leeds is here as well, everyone is welcoming Peter Parker.

"Here he is, man of the hour!" Harry calling out.

"Wow Harry, you really went all out for this." Peter is impressed.

"PARKER!" Kenny Kong calling out.

Kenny Kong came up and hugs Peter tightly as he's being felt squeezed.

"Hey! Good to see you too Kenny! You can put me down now!" Peter being happy as he's being squeezed.

"Oh!" Kenny Kong lowers Peter down.

Peter then turns to Flash. "Flash, glad you made it."

"Wouldn't miss this Parker." Flash smile.

"Jason, good to see you again, you still with Sally?" Peter said.

Jason Ionello smile. "Yeah, we're still together."

"I'm happy for you, Jason. Thanks for coming too Ned." Peter said.

"Betty talked me into this, by the way, congrats." Ned Leeds said.

"Thanks Ned." Peter said.

"By the way Pete, I got some guests who're anxious to meet you." Harry smile.

A couple of hot babes are coming in as this caught Peter's attention along with the rest of the guys.

"Harry, what did I say?" Peter is bother.

"Relax Pete, they're not dancers... they're just hot! Ladies, met my man, Peter Parker!" Harry smile.

"Hmm, ain't he cute!"

"Hmm, I'll say!"

Both women are flirting with Peter as they dragged him into the crowd as Harry, Flash, and Randy all watched their friend still being shy and yet still has the magic.

"Why do I get the feeling that you planned this?" Flash smile.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." Harry smile acting all innocent.

"Either way, Parker still got the Rizz, like always." Randy said.

"I wonder how the bachelorette party is going?" Harry said.

(Mary Jane's apartment)

At the same time, Mary Jane is opening up the door and invites Gwen into her apartment for her bachelorette party, she went in and was surprised by everyone here, Betty and Glory are here, as wells as Liz Allan and Sally Avril, Liz is now 18 years old and grown lovelier than before with dark brown wavy hair standing a 5' 9", Katie Bishop is here too including Gwen's cousin Jill, everyone says "SURPRISE!" to Gwen.

"Oh my..." Gwen smiles and feels happy. "Liz, it's been a long time!"

Liz came up and hugs Gwen. "I missed you too."

"Glad you made it. How's Harvard?" Gwen said.

"It's great, though I'm glad to have a break to come over for my friend's wedding." Liz smile.

"Glad you're here, Liz. You too Sally, are you still with Jason?" Gwen said.

"Yeah... it's funny, to think years ago I saw him as a computer geek, now we're still happy together, kinda like you and Peter." Sally smile.

"Well maybe you and Jason might be next for wedding bells." Mary Jane smile.

"I don't think we're there yet, but appreciate the pep." Sally said.

"Okay, enough talking about each other, tonight is all about my Coz!" Jill smile.

"Well let's not talk, let's party!" Mary Jane smile.

All the girls are about to celebrate Gwen's bachelorette party together.

At the same time back in the New York Bay, the entire island is on alert as the Triskelion is under attack by a three symbioses as S.H.I.E.L.D. are attempting to hold the intruders back, but they're just too powerful for them to take on even with their weapons, a few of them are coming forward wielding riot shields as the shooters are firing off their weapons.

"Oh goodie, riot shields!" Scream smile.

"If they're expecting Riot, then I shall give them Riot!" Riot smile.

Riot steps up with both arms forming into maces as he runs up towards the agents as he swings his maces hard upon the shielded agents with so much force, knocking them back hard as Riot continues his assault and smashes his maces upon the agents, squishing them as many are attempting to fall back but Scream came in and tangled some of them with her hairs as they're all scream and she tossed them hard at the walls hard, instantly killing them, Carnage steps in and unleashed his tendrils at multiple shooters and killed them all simultaneously without mercy, many agents here are dead as Carnage seemed too happy by all this destruction.

"Ahh... this feels great!" Carnage smile.

All three of them are proceeding ahead to the archive room after dealing with security, as unknown to them, they're all being watched on camera, in the other room on the higher floor is 21 year old Inhuman name Daisy Johnson, an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. wearing the standing S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform armed with specialized gauntlets as she's spotted the intruders making their way to the archive room after they killed every agent who failed to stop them, she then takes matters into her own hands and leaves the room and heads to the elevator to confront these intruders herself. Inside the archive room are the three symbiotes as they're looking box to box for something related to GRENDEL, they're feeling a bit frustrated as they couldn't find it and tossed the boxes aside.

Riot growls. "Where the hell is it?!"

Scream is still searching until she found a box with the label GRENDEL.

"Over here!" Scream calls out.

Riot and Carnage came over to Scream as they all looked at the box she's holding in her hand, she opens up and looks at the contents inside, all this pleases them.

Riot chuckles. "Perfect... let's get out of here!"

Riot and Carnage are escorting Scream holding the box out of the archive room as the elevator finally arrived as Agent Johnson is stepping out and they all stopped in their tracks by a single S.H.I.E.L.D. agent with short black hair and blue eyes standing fearless.

"Stop right there, I'm Agent Johnson of S.H.I.E.L.D. and you're just trespass onto government property and murdered so many agents." Daisy Johnson said.

Carnage chuckles. "Not all of them, and you look so good to eat!"

"You don't want to do that, I could break your teeth." Daisy Johnson said.

Carnage and Riot all charged in for an attack as Daisy Johnson activates her Inhuman powers and channels them through her gauntlets, she unleashed powerful seismic vibrations upon the two symbiotes as they're both affected and in so much pain, Scream drops the box and intervenes to assist, but Daisy notice Scream and turns her powers to the female symbiote as she too is getting very hurt by the seismic waves.

"STOP! MAKE IT STOP!" Carnage is in intense pain.

Daisy Johnson can see her powers are working on them as she moves in closer to cause even more damage to all three of them, the villains are getting overpowered by this Inhuman as they're out of option, Riot looks up at the ceiling, he forms a mace in his arm, he extends his arm to the ceiling and breaking it apart as pieces of it are falling down onto Daisy, she turns her powers to the debris and breaks them into pieces, the symbiotes took the opportunity to recover as Scream grabs the box, all three of them are jumping out of the window and falling off the tower until they landed hard on the ground. Daisy looks down to see all three of them survived as more agents are coming in with weapon and in larger numbers.

"Let's get out of here!" Riot yells.

Carnage, Scream, and Riot are all running away as they're taking fire from all the agents including Daisy unleashing her powers from the top trying to get a hit, they're still running towards the water and jumps into the bay, they're all swimming underwater as agents are still firing bullets into them hoping to hit, but all three have escaped the Triskelion with the prize. Daisy is disappointed she couldn't prevent all three of those creatures from escaping, she looks around to see the agents who lost their lives, but her biggest surprise is the calls she's getting on her phone, it's from Director Fury, she answered the call.

"Director Fury." Daisy Johnson said.

"Agent Johnson, report!" Nick Fury said.

"Sir, the intruders broke into the archive room and escaped, and a number of agents have been killed." Daisy Johnson said.

Nick Fury sighs. "Understood, secure the scene and have our agents categorized everything, figure out what they stole, I'm on my way down, prepare for my arrival."

"Understood Director." Daisy Johnson said.

"In the meantime, I'll need to call in some help." Nick Fury said.

It's 8:51 PM at the luxurious night club as the bachelor party is still going on, a lot of Peter's male friends are having fun and chatting while Peter himself is on the dance floor with some ladies enjoying the night, Harry and Randy watched as they're impressed on how well he can dance.

"Gotta say, he's still got the moves." Randy smile.

"It's his last night as a free man, let him enjoy it while he can." Harry smile.

Peter is still feeling happy as he's twirling a hot woman and enjoying the night before the wedding tomorrow, he then felt a vibration in his jacket as he stopped dance and pulls out to see the initials NF, he knows exactly who's calling him.

"Excuse me ladies!" Peter said politely.

Peter is walking away from the dance floor as he's leaving his own bachelor party so early with all his friends still enjoying the night without him, he made it outside for some privacy as his phone is still ringing nonstop, he answered the call wondering what could be so urgent.

Peter sighs as he holds the phone. "Fury, I don't why you're calling me at this hour, but..."

Peter then listens to everything Nick Fury is telling him concerning a break-in at the Triskelion by three supervillains that matches the description of the three villains he's looking for, it sounded really bad.

"Okay, I'll be right there." Peter hangs up.

Peter then dials Gwen Stacy to inform her on the event.

(Mary Jane's Apartment)

At the same time back at the apartment, the bachelorette party is still going on here, a male stripper posing as a cop is dancing around shaking his hips as all the ladies are cheering and tossing money, Gwen is wearing a tiara feeling happy until her phone is ringing, she pulls it out to see her fiancé is calling at this hour, Mary Jane noticed something is up as Gwen is getting up and walking away, Mary Jane went up to her best friend's side.

"What is it?" Mary Jane said.

"It's Peter, I have to take this. Continue the party without me." Gwen said.

"Okay." Mary Jane understands.

Gwen is leaving the apartment as the ladies here are still having fun, she made it outside and answered the call.

Gwen sighs with a smile. "Hey Pete, are you calling to check in on your fiancée having a time at her bachelorette party?"

"What?! No, of course not, that's not why I called, Nick Fury just called me, there was a break-in at the Triskelion, it's gotta be Kassidy." Peter said.

"Oh no... how bad?" Gwen said.

"Very bad, he and the other two already taken so many lives... Nick Fury is gonna meet us there, I'm heading there right now." Peter said.

"Okay... I'm on my way." Gwen said.

(Spider-Cave)

Here are Miles and Anya in their spider suits, Ganke Lee is on the supervillain showing a list of suspects for Eddie Brock to ID, showing their pictures one by one.

Eddie Brock sighs. "Is this all the suspects you got? My god, there's just so many."

Ganke sighs. "Unfortunately there are too many ex-military personals in the five boroughs alone, still a needle in a haystack."

Eddie Brock sighs. "Keep on showing the photos til I find them."

Miles's phone is ringing as he pulls out to see his friend Peter is calling.

"It's Pete, I'm gonna put on speaker." Miles answered the call and puts it on speaker. "Hey Pete, we're still looking through the list of suspects, so far no luck."

"Never mind about that, it looks like we're too late, Carnage has already strike back, he and his new friends broke into the Triskelion recently, killed a lot of agents." Peter explains.

"My god..." Anya said.

"I'm on my way there, Gwen's heading there too, I need you both there immediately." Peter said.

"Okay Pete, we'll meet you there." Miles said.

"See you there." Peter then hangs up.

Miles puts away the phone and turns to Anya. "Let's go."

Miles and Anya are putting on their masks as they're leaving the Cave to meet up with their friends at the Triskelion, Eddie and Ganke are staying behind to continue their search for the two suspects who stole the Venom symbiote.

It's 9:12 PM back at the Life Foundation, the three symbiotes have returned from their mission and retrieved the prize, they made their way into the private lab where Carlton Drake is waiting and staring at the Venom symbiote still trapped inside containment, he then turns around and looks pleased to see them back and with the box containing the essential piece to his master plan.

"My friends, did you bring it?" Carlton Drake said.

"We ran into some trouble, but..." Riot said.

Scream holding the box. "We were successful nevertheless."

Carlton Drake came up to the box Scream is holding and opens it up, he found everything on GRENDEL, including the secret map of the entire moon itself, including selenographic coordinates of the exact location where GRENDEL is, all this pleases him very greatly.

"Excellent, very excellent!" Carlton Drake is very pleased.

"Don't you think it's time to tell us, what exactly is GRENDEL?" Carnage said.

"Very well my friend." Carlton Drake pulls out a photo of a frozen dragon on the moon. "This is Grendel, it's the name of a dragon that is currently frozen in ice, trapped on the moon's surface as we speak."

"A Dragon?" Carnage said.

"Not just any dragon my friend, that dragon is comprised of the very same biological matter that makes up the very same organism all three of you are bonded to." Carlton Drake said.

"Symbiotes!" Carnage said.

"Exactly, no one knows exactly how long Grendel was frozen in ice, only theorized that it's more than a thousand years ago, but soon, very soon, we're about to awaken Grendel from his thousand year sleep, all three of you are gonna make that happen. Once that happens, Grendel shall descend down to Earth and with all the mass it has, it'll produce enough symbiotes to engulfed entire life organisms on the planet, we shall bring symbiote into this world. Sounds interesting enough?" Carlton Drake said.

Carnage chuckles. "Oh yeah, sounds like a party... but, I am curious as to why you want to bring symbiotes? What's your interest in them?"

"My father, may he Rest In Peace, he saw the horrors the world was going through, it all started with the Cuban Missile Crisis, the whole world almost ended in Nuclear Armageddon, that event shaped him, he knew humanity was on the brink to their own self destruction, he dedicated his life through science hoping to find the answer to Earth's salvation, he was given the opportunity by helping NASA build rockets. Finally in 1969, humanity sent their first two men to the moon itself, the mission was a success, humans finally made it to the moon, it was there that those astronauts made an astonishing discovery, they discovered Grendel frozen in ice, hidden on the dark side of the moon for years, they retrieved samples of the creatures and brought them back to Earth." Carlton Drake explains on the symbiote history.

"So this isn't the first time symbiotes came to Earth." Carnage said.

"No... in fact, my father had the opportunity to study them through the pieces of Grendel those astronauts brought to Earth, he saw great potential within their physiology, their capability to bond with other organisms for greater advantage, it was through the symbiotes he found the answer. But... there are others who simply wanted to exploit the symbiote's awesome power for other purposes, they wanted to create super soldiers that are more deadly, more controllable, they were successful in bonding a symbiote with a human, thinking they could control it. However, those fools underestimate these lifeforms, life cannot be controlled nor contained, it must be set free for the whole world. This however did not please those fools, they started to fear the symbiotes, so they ordered the destruction of all the samples on Earth and shut down the moon program in 1972. This did not stop my father's ambitions for the symbiotes, so he conspired behind the government's back, taking matters into his own hands by bring people who shares his vision by bringing symbiotes to the world... but he never got the chance, those fools at S.H.I.E.L.D. caught on to his ambitions at the Watergate, they silenced him along with anyone who conspired with him, determined to keep the existence of symbiotes a secret to the world, they got rid of any evidence, made everyone believe he was a traitor to his country, sent him to psychiatric hospital for life till his dying days, they drove him mad, they crucified him, all of it just to hide the truth... well, no more, I'm going to finish what my father started, I'm going to make his dream a reality, we're going to bring symbiotes to the world, create a new world where humans and symbiotes are combined as one." Carlton Drake explain the whole story.

Carlton Drake finished explaining the whole history on the symbiotes as he plans to bring them to this world and create a new society through symbiosis.

"Gentlemen, it's time we get to work." Carlton Drake said.

Carlton Drake took the box to the table to pull out and opens up the map of the entire moon surface as he's gonna study the selenographic coordinates where Grendel is located, he's about to initiate a mission into space very soon, he plans to bring Grendel to the world for his plan in symbiosis.

It's 9:34 PM at the Triskelion as the Web-Warriors look around see all the damage this place has suffered, a number of body bags being brought out as there's been so much casualties, they have no doubt this is Carnage's handiwork, they spotted a quinjet coming down from high up as the heroes all head towards the landing pad where a number of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents including Daisy Johnson are assembled, the quinjet finally touched down onto the pad as the ramp is lowering down, departing the quinjet is Director Nick Fury along with Maria Hill and Phil Coulson are here in person to assess the situation, they spotted the Web-Warriors here.

"Parker, thank you for coming, and I apologize calling you on your night out." Nick Fury said.

"Don't be, we didn't have a choice, as long as Kasady is still on the loose, everyone is still in danger. Though, I am curious as to why he would break into S.H.I.E.L.D., what could he want from here." Spider-Man said.

"That's what we're about to find out, follow us." Nick Fury said.

Nick Fury is taking the lead as Maria Hill and Phil Coulson follow along with Daisy Johnson and the Web-Warriors towards the building itself. A few minutes later inside, everyone got off the elevator to see all the damage the inside has been inflicted, so much blood everywhere.

"Well Parker?" Nick Fury said.

"Yeah, this is definitely the work of Carnage, I'm amazed some agents managed to survive the slaughter, he usually likes to finish off till the last man." Spider-Man said.

"It could've been worse, luckily we had an Inhuman in hand, I take it you remember Agent Johnson." Nick Fury said.

"Sure do, she's got the powers of vibrations." Spider-Man said.

"It came in handy against these monsters, cause of her, no one else was killed." Nick Fury said.

"I'm just disappointed I couldn't do better." Daisy Johnson said.

"Don't be Agent Johnson, it could've gone a lot worse if you weren't here." Spider-Man said.

"Appreciate it Spider-man." Daisy Johnson said.

"Sure, but... you're gonna need a cool codename for yourself, got any?" Spider-Man said.

"Nah, most people just call me Skye." Daisy Johnson said.

"Ah, why?" Kid Arachnid is confused.

"Cause that's what everyone calls me." Daisy Johnson said.

"It's great, though it doesn't seem to fit your power set." Kid Arachnid said.

"Hmm... how about... Quake?" Spider-Man said.

"Quake... nice!" Daisy Johnson smile.

Nick Fury coughs. "Can we stay focused?"

"Yes Director." Daisy Johnson stays professional.

One of the agents came up and hands Maria Hill the tablet as she reads it.

"Agent Hill, what's the update?" Nick Fury said.

"Looks like everything is accounted for in the archives, except for one. Maria Hill said.

"Subject?" Nick Fury said.

"Codename GRENDEL." Maria Hill said.

Nick Fury is stunned upon hearing that word GRENDEL as this caught Spider-Man's attention, he noticed Fury's reaction to that single word, he never thought anything would get him rattled.

"What's GRENDEL?" Spider-Man said.

"I can't say." Nick Fury said.

"Can't or won't?!" Spider-Man said.

"It's classified!" Nick Fury said.

"Enough!" Spider-Man takes off his mask and protests. "Carnage and his pose just broke in here and killed a lot of agents to get it! No more secrets Fury, what is GRENDEL?!"

Nick Fury could tell by Parker's expression that he's not gonna stop until he gets answers on GRENDEL, Fury won't talk about it for so many reasons, but given the situation that occurred here, he'll have to share some secrets whether he likes it or not.

Nick Fury sighs. "Follow me."

Fury leads the group away from any prying eyes and ears about to divulge some old secrets S.H.I.E.L.D. has been kept hidden for years, they made it to a debriefing room for some privacy as the doors are closed behind and everyone is together, the rest of the Web-Warriors are taking off their masks, about to listen up.

"Before I talk, let me remind you all, what I'm about to share with you all is all very top secret, it never leaves this room, are we clear?" Nick Fury said.

"Crystal, we're all ears." Peter said.

"Very well, let me take this to the beginning..." Nick Fury said.

Nick Fury turns on the holoscreen and access his personal files, using his retinas, including his dead eye, to unlock those files, the holoscreen shows the group everything related to GRENDEL, pictures of the moons as wells as footages related to a secret super soldier project initiated in the early 70's.

"It all started in 1969, our country made preparations for the greatest mission in the history of mankind, by sending two men into space, to the moon itself..." Nick Fury explain.

"Hold on! Are we talking about the Apollo 11 mission?!" Gwen is stunned.

"The same, I see you're very keen on your sciencific history... anyway, years before the mission was initiated, NASA made plans to send two men into space, the very same mission that has made history to this country and to the world, but what many doesn't know is S.H.I.E.L.D. took part in that mission, the official mission is to send two men to the moon, plant a flag, collect samples, recording the event, but the mission itself had another purpose, only a cover for what S.H.I.E.L.D.'s true mission is." Nick Fury said.

"Which is?" Peter said.

Nick Fury shows a photo on the holoscreen of a black dragon frozen in ice on the moon itself which caught everyone's attention, the characteristic of the creature looks similar to the symbiotes.

"On the moon itself, the mission went dark, courtesy of S.H.I.E.L.D., the astronauts traveled to the dark side of the moon, there they came across an entity frozen in ice, this entity resembles a dragon, this is Grendel." Nick Fury said.

"Whoa! It's an actual dragon!" Miles is shocked.

"I've seen a dragon before, though he's an alien me and Tony fought against in the past, but this... there's something familiar about it, the way it looks." Peter said.

"And for good reason, it's biology is similar to that of the alien lifeforms you've encountered." Nick Fury said.

"You're saying that thing frozen on the moon is a symbiote?" Peter is surprised.

"It is, during that time on the moon, the astronauts were able to collect samples of the creature and brought those samples back to Earth for S.H.I.E.L.D. for study. The scientist study the frozen properties of Grendel, they thawed it out and found out that it's still sentient." Nick Fury said.

"Why didn't you tell me that symbiotes have been on Earth before?" Peter said.

"I couldn't tell you Parker, it's classified and it's way beyond your pay grade! Besides, it's called compartmentalization..." Nick Fury said.

"I know, I know, no one spills the secrets cause no one knows about them... I'm getting tired hearing that all the time." Peter said.

"You don't have to like it, there's a good reason why we're keeping all this a secret, do you want to hear more or not?" Nick Fury said.

Peter sighs. "Continue..."

"As I was saying, S.H.I.E.L.D. learned a lot from these symbiotes, they found out that this life form can bond with hosts and enhances those hosts with extraordinary feats such as increased strength and speed, such feats would prove useful in creating a new breed of super soldiers." Nick Fury said.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. wanted to weaponize the symbiotes." Peter said.

"And they did, they initiate the Sym-Soldier Program in 1971, the goal was to bond symbiotes with humans, specifically soldiers, it took a long time but eventually they found a candidate, a veteran who fought in the Vietnam War, his name was Rex Strickland. Now watch as you're all about to witness footage of the test." Nick Fury said.

The holoscreen is showing an old footage from 1971 where an African-American solider name Rex Strickland is inside the testing chamber, the scientist released the symbiote created from a piece of Grendel onto the soldier as the bonding process has begun, the symbiote is forming up around Rex Strickland who looks like he's panicking upon being engulfed by the symbiote growing around him and finally bonded to its host, creating the very first Sym-Soldier.

"As you can see, the bonding process was a success, and as a result, all his physical attributes has been greatly enhanced, they created a more powerful super soldier than could surpass Captain America. After many months of training and keeping the symbiote under control, S.H.I.E.L.D took the opportunity in 1972 by having their new soldier, codename Tyrannosaurus, partake in a black ops mission into Laos during a civil war there at the time, fighting off an insurgence group based in the jungles, Tyrannosaurus and a team of agents were dropped behind enemy lines and they took on the insurgents within minutes, thanks to Tyrannosaurus, the insurgence group was quickly defeated and it was a big win for us... at least that's what S.H.I.E.L.D. thought." Nick Fury said.

"Let me guess, something went wrong." Peter suspected.

"Very much... the symbiote overtook control of Rex Strickland, it turned against the agents and soldiers, killing them, that was the moment they learned no one could control the symbiote and how much danger the alien life form pose to the entire world... so a decision was made to contain this situation... they called in an airstrike and dropped napalm onto the entire jungle." Nick Fury said.

Peter sighs. "S.H.I.E.L.D. killed the symbiote along with the host."

"Along with the insurgents and fellow soldiers who were in that jungle, everyone was burned in that moment, including the symbiote who had a great weakness to fire... it was necessary." Nick Fury said.

Peter sighs. "And... what happened next?"

"S.H.I.E.L.D. eventually came to a decision, they ordered the scientist to destroy the samples of Grendel, burn it to ashes, killing off the symbiotes, the Sym-Soldier Program was shut down... and not just that, the Moon Program was shut down as well, any missions or travels to the moon itself became restricted, and for more than fifty years, S.H.I.E.L.D. made sure of it." Nick Fury said.

"Why?" Peter said.

"To protect the world from the dangers of symbiotes, to make sure that Grendel remains frozen on the moon, never to disturb or revived, at least until now. These symbiotes have stolen everything on GRENDEL, including the selenographic coordinates of its exact location on the moon surfaces." Nick Fury said.

"Which means they might know where to look, they're trying to find Grendel." Peter said.

"This is bad... this is very bad... if they somehow manage to get to the moon and find Grendel, it'll mean trouble." Nick Fury said.

"How much trouble? Be straight with me, Fury!" Peter said.

"If these symbiote manages to free Grendel from his frozen prison, if it ever gets revived and comes down to Earth... it'll mean the end of the world." Nick Fury being very serious..

Peter, Gwen, Miles, and Anya are all disturbed upon hearing how bad this is for the whole world and the danger it's about to face, the symbiote invasion is coming very soon.
