It was a good plan, in theory, but it never occurred to Cassi if it would even work. The plan was simple if one might say, get your demon side back because you smell like an angel or you will most definitely be torn to shreds once you step foot outside the shop's door. Cassi was indeed correct; she did not feel annoyed when she reclaimed her demon side. It was a strange feeling; one she had felt before down below but it wasn't coming from the demons this time but from her.

Anger is what she felt, pure unadulterated anger at everything. The world ending, her friends being raptured, but most importantly anger at the fact Luca and Violet knew her papa and Gabriel had no chance once they had stepped through those doors. They had planned to use their demise to lure her out from wherever she was, and Elliot had predicted it. However, that anger was the one thing keeping her from harm as federal nephalems surrounded her in every which way. "You feel odd." Elliot whispered as they all walked towards the elevator. "I don't like it."

"It's not peachy for me." She crossed her arms. "I feel gross. Can't believe you're okay feeling like this all the time."

Elliot suppressed his laugh. "Your dad too."

Cassi looked back at the shop, knowing full well her dad was giving her papa an earful. "Nah, my dad knows how to love. He does not feel like this at all."

They stopped in front of the elevator and Cassi eyed it carefully. She could easily do as her dad suggested. Go back to the shop, help her papa pack whatever books and bugger off the galaxy but it was not in her nature to not help someone in need The someone being the humans, the planet, the stars her parents created. The galaxy where their love began and blossomed into something beautiful. She knew how much earth meant to them and since they had already saved humanity once before, it was her turn.

Violet cracked her knuckles and gestured towards the elevator. "Go on then."

Cassi gave a polite smile. "Of course." Her heart pouted a million miles because she was skeptical the other part of the plan was going to go as smoothly.

"What's happening?" Aziraphale called out from behind.

Crowley, yet again, pushed Gabriel out of the way as the angel claimed the window. "Get ou-" he looked for any sign of those red locks. "I can't see." he groaned, "I'm going out there."

"Crowley," Beelzebub slapped Crowley's arm, "what I am wondering is why are we in here. No doubt Gabriel and Aziraphale can't step foot out there, but we can. We go out there and help your sweetling, fuck, I can even force hell to help us."

"You're not going out there." Gabriel puffed. "You're staying in here where it's safe."

Beelzebub raised a brow and crossed their arms. "Excuse me?"

"Cassi is different from those federal ones out there. You, my partner, are a demon who feels love." He turned to Crowley. "Both of you. The only reason why Cassi did not harm you when we did our little experiment on her is because she had been living her life with no more than ten percent of her demon side. She didn't harm Crowley because they have the same scent."

"Oh, so now you know so much?"

"Um," he raised his chin, "yes. Yes, I do know much because while you were having fun making people's day a little depressing, not judging you for it, I was busy reading on the files I stole from heaven."

Aziraphale took a step forward. "What files? I have the nephalem files here. Some back in my office in heaven."

"You don't think I just stole those and didn't go through the rest? Heaven, my dear friend, is more fucked up than we thought."

"I've been telling him that for millions of years." Crowley's attention went back to the window. "'Trust her.'" He scoffed. "I hope you realize this strays me further away from having another."

"You're having another child?" Gabriel gasped. "I'm going to be a parent-non-parent again?"

"Congratulations to both of you."

Aziraphale wiggled with a smile. "Oh, thank you."

"No, we are not!"

Suddenly, they all became silent when the faint sound of Billy Idol's Rebel Yell loudly rang from the huddle. The four of them almost tripped as they huddled up by the nearby window trying to get a glimpse of what was transpiring just outside the shop.

"Really?" Cassi rolled her eyes as Elliot raised the volume on his phone once she unfurled her wings.

Elliot did the same with his own. "All 80's movies use a wicked songs during the climax." He laughed and both floated just above the crowd. "I always thought this one suited you." He winked.

Cassi reached for her head and imagined a pretty, little halo around her head because unfortunately for the rest of the nephalems, their angel side was long gone. They were neither angel nor demon and so, through the years, had lost some of those traits. Most, if not all, did not possess their wings, of course, halos were out of the question, and so were demonic miracles and divine interventions. Elliot had revealed this to her as he came up with a plan on how to eradicate the rest of their kind, however, he had no clue if it would work. It was up to Cassi all while she had questioned why he still had his wings and a halo to which Elliot replied, "I'm my mother's son; always optimistic."

The nephalems on the ground looked above them as Cassi's halo sprouted. It was the size of Aziraphale's but that was the extent of the similarities as hers was gray in color, matching her wings, with an exuding red aura. She whispered a prayer, kissed her halo, and let it fall from her hands.

"What the fuck is that?" Luca looked up.

Violet smacked her lips and closed her eyes. "That is called betrayal." She accepted her fate as the halo landed by her feet. "You think they will accept you?" She spoke to Cassi. "You're nothing but a half breed bitch and you are no better than the rest of us just because you still have your parents." She stepped on the halo before her tears could flow freely and just the second, just that one second before they were all gone, Violet felt loved. Cassi had given them that. She had prayed for their forgiveness, their inner peace, and most importantly, mentioned how loved they were. They were angels once and she hoped they could feel as holy as they did once upon a time.

After all had evaporated, Cassi floated down, tucking in her wings and giving cue to her parents to come out. "Cassi!" Crowley's long legs permitted him to be in front of his daughter in a second or two. "You're so, so," he hugged her tight, "fucking grounded."

Aziraphale sniffed as he went to hug his daughter as well. "That goes double for me, young lady. No reading books for a week."

"Alight but," she grunted, "you are kind of squishing me." The parents gave her another tight embrace before letting the poor girl go. "Gentle." She stated as Crowley eyed the sky. "Papa?"

Aziraphale shook his head. "Not this time, my darling girl." The angel allowed Crowley to do what was necessary. "I mean I would, but it's not in my nature."

"Um," Elliot held his palms out as Crowley floated in front him, "list-" he hit the ground.

Crowley's feet touched the ground and circled Elliot who was trying his best to stand on his feet. Crowley rolled his fist. "Stay. Away. From. My. Daughter." He spat and walked back to his family.

Doors Opening

The family turned to the elevator. "This lot."

As the doors opened, the Metatron walked out with an aura that screamed I am better than everyone here. "Well done, Cassiopeia." He clapped his hands together. "The Almighty sends her praises." He glanced over at Elliot. "You forgot one I see but no matter," he glanced at his watch, "hell should be here soon, and we can begin the next phase of the war."

"There doesn't need to be a war." Cassi looked around. "Hell is not coming up; they went back down. No war."

The Metatron looked around as another group of people were raptured. "Then," he chuckled softly, "we win by default. Aziraphale? You and Cassi will be most welcomed in heaven as we take care of this planet, well galaxy." He gave Crowley a disgusted expression. "I am sure we can work something out for you."

"Oh," Crowley grinned, "I have. I'm going to take my family away from this insufferable madness. Away from you lot, hell's lot, and away from that one." He pointed at Elliot. "And I am not leaving a forwarding address."

The Metatron clicked his tongue. "I, hm, am afraid that won't do. You have already prevented one war; you will not prevent another. The weather changes, the rapture begins, the nephalems are dealt with. Yes, everything is going according to the ineffable plan. The Almighty is quite please, and you do not want to displease the Almighty."

"The humans…are really gone?" Cassi inquired. "The ones that were taken?"

The Metatron softened his expression towards the young girl. "I am sorry, Cassiopeia, but that is how these things work. But, eh, like I said, your father and you have a place in heaven so there is no need to worry."

Cassi glanced at her parents, her parents-non-parents who had come out of the shop, and at Elliot. "Do you hold no love for the Almighty's creation?" All turned to the young nephalem. "The earth, the humans, the stars…all were designed by the Almighty. Does she not love what she created? My parents wouldn't dare throw me away because they love me, even when I am acting silly." She exhaled sharply. "It's not fair what you do every few years." She shook her head. "Angels are supposed to love everything from the worms in the soil to the stars up above. You are no better than hell."

"You are young, Cassiopeia and you will soon learn how everything works. You father should have taught you better."

"My father, fathers, made me love everything around me, no matter what it is. A bit annoying really," she let out a shaky breath, "but that is alright. It allows me to see the beauty in everything." She reached out for her fathers' hands, which always brought comfort to her. "I just wish you were able to see what I see in this galaxy."

A flash of light beamed down straight to the Metatron and a faint whisper was all everyone heard before the light disappeared. "Perhaps," he rubbed his chin, "we can work something out."

Doors opening.

The Metatron stepped inside and gestured for the family to follow and to everyone's surprise, it was Crowley who took the step forward. Aziraphale glanced back at Gabiel. "I'll watch the shop."

"We," Beelzebub chimed in, "will watch the shop."

Aziraphale placed a protected arm around his daughter. "Be good." She joked with Elliot.

Doors closing. Going Up.
