Chat Noir landed in an ally way to detransform. "Plagg, claws in." A green light came over him and in Chat Noir's place was Adrien. Plagg flew right next to his holder. Adrien got a piece of cheese and gave it to the black cat. "We got to go find Felix." Adrien took off towards the school. He ran past the school and in the direction all the students had gone earlier when he was fighting Peace. Adrien spotted the group of people that had evacuated the school. Adrien entered the group looking for Felix. Once he saw his cousin, he moved to stand next to him. Felix turned to Adrien and grabbed him in a hug. "Adrien, I was so worried. I could not find you during the evacuation." Felix pulled away from Adrien but kept his hands on Adrien's shoulders. "Where were you?" Adrien froze for a moment trying to come up with an excuse. Felix was staring at Adrien. His expression was becoming more suspicious the longer it took Adrien to answer. "I was in the library going over my notes. I stayed there when I heard the noise." Adrien was hoping that was a good enough explanation. Felix had that look of suspicion for only a moment longer before it was gone and replaced with relief once more.

Once everything had settled down, the teachers decided it was for the best to send everyone home early. After all, the students were shaken after the events of the day. Adrien and Felix got a ride back home by the bodyguard. Adrien went to his room to prepare for his photo shoot. Plagg sat at the table in front of Adrien's television. Plagg eats cheese while watching Adrien prepare. "I can't believe you have a job at the age of fourteen. When does your dad want you to be a kid?" Adrien looked at the kwami of destruction. "I've been a model since the age of thirteen." Plagg looked irritated, "I know. It's absolutely ridiculous. He does not deserve you." Adrien looked shocked as he said, "Plagg don't say that." The kwami flew over to Adrien, "And why not? It's true you know. He is the saddest excuse for a father that I have ever seen. You are so strong Adrien and he is so weak." Adrien put his bag over his shoulder. "What do you mean weak?" Plagg answered immediately. "You went out in front of the world to model the Agreste brand smiling in the spotlight in front of the whole world while your dad hid away like a coward." Plagg could not help but mean exactly what he just said. Adrien opened his mouth to protest but no words came out. He had no way of justifying his father's actions. Plagg flew into Adrien's bag. He popped his head out for a moment putting one of his paws on the top of the bag. "I'm proud of you kid. You are the strongest Chat Noir I ever had." Plagg felt the need to compliment Adrien and let him know how much he was valued. The little cat knows his holder's father never compliments him. He never lets Adrien know how much he is loved or anything for that matter. When Plagg came to be with Adrien, he knew the kid needed people who were going to be there for him. With his mother being gone and having an asshole for a father, there were not many people that cared for Adrien besides his cousin of course. Plagg was never one for words of affirmation. He always found it hard to express his feelings through words. Plagg was more of an act of service type when it came to showing his love. Most of his holders did not need words of affirmation. They had parents, siblings, extended family, and friends for that. Adrien was his first holder that did not have a very good support system. Plagg could see how Adrien was torn down when his father was never happy with him. His father was cold and did not speak to Adrien really at all. Plagg knew he was going to have to get better at expressing feelings of love and giving praise the day he met Adrien. The way Adrien's lips broke into one of the biggest smiles Plagg had ever seen made the words he said worth it. His smile was infectious as Plagg could not help a smile of his own. Adrien said quietly, "Thanks Plagg." Plagg went down into the bag replying, "Anytime kid."

Adrien went to his photo shoot in the park. Felix tagged along mostly to see if Marinette would show up after his outburst with her. Felix sat on a bench watching Adrien's photo shoot. He kept an eye out for the blue-haired girl but she did not show. Felix was kind of surprised. Marinette's obsession with Adrien was very strong. Felix knows he was hard on Marinette today. He could have gone easier on her but easy was not the point. The point was to make Marinette understand that her behavior was unacceptable. He is sure if Kagami finds out about it, she will not be pleased with him, but Felix can not bring himself to care. Once the photo shoot was over, the two boys left together. They got home around six. Around seven almost every night, Adrien goes into his room and does not come out. This is something that started when Adrien started going to school. Felix is not sure what he does in there from seven to bedtime. Without fail, Adrien always locks his door. He does not unlock it till the next morning. They finished eating and watched a little TV. It was close to seven when Adrien got up and started to head upstairs. Felix wanted to ask what he does at this time because it was eating away at him. He sometimes wonders if Adrien is even in his room because he has knocked several times and heard nothing. Felix has a feeling if he asks Adrien will lie. Felix has noticed that about Adrien lately. He has been lying a lot. He does not have a tell. Felix just knows when he is lying. Felix bit his lower lip to prevent himself from asking Adrien as he climbed the stairs to his room. Chat Noir patrols the night with Ladybug. Neither of them says much to the other. They are both caught up in their own worlds. Ladybug thinks of Felix and their fight, while Chat thinks of his skills on the ice and how they need to improve. They both went their separate ways after patrol with a lot on their minds and weight on their hearts.
