Reedthrush is my mate now so I was bouncing up and down camp thinking how lucky I was until I spotted Oakstar sitting at her den entrance looking spaced out
"Um...hi Oakstar" Oakstar's head snapped up "whar do you want Gingerslip don't you have patrols to go on"
she snapped I shook my head "no..I just wanted to see if you were okay" Oakstar hissed "Of course I'm okay
why wouldn't I be okay go join a patrol!" She didn't have to ask me twice.
"wake up Gingerslip why are you such a lazy mouse" Get out of my way you lazy mouse! "Arghh" I screamed Daisychest jumped back in surprise "I was just trying
to wake you up" he meowed "your on dawn patrol" I wad breathing heavily Daisychest took a step closer
"what happened" I snapped at him "I was having the most wonderful dream and you had to just go and ruin it" then I stomped out of the den.

Once we get back from the gathering I spot Mikfoot fussing gently with Cinderpeak's fur-Cinderpeak who is laying in the middle of the clearing is stiff-Cinderdawn
pads up to us and says bluntly "he died in his sleep" I hear Oakstar mutter under her breath "at this pace
GoldenCloudclan will go extinct I stiffen as I hear wailing and spot Minkfoot still next to Cinderpeak's body
wailing and shaking uncontrollably nudging Cinderpeak over and over again yowling "wake up!" Auburnreed guides her into the medicine den murmuring to her Oakstar yowls "we will hold vigil for Cinderpeak
