"Wow this feels so great!" Sonic said with him racing his shadow across the various Smash stages since they were having quite a race with the hedgehogs looking at each other chuckling. "You sure you want to give up now?"
"Like I would do that to you." Shadow responded with a scoff and a smirk since he was using his doom powers to get ahead of Sonic. "You're going to have to try harder than that if you truly want to get to me."
"Is that so?"
"Yes-" Shadow was about to say with him being suddenly a victim of the homing attack from Sonic for they went right through the window and landed in the middle of a warp that took them to the Radical Highway.
Sonic laughed while he stood over Shadow. "Guess you didn't see that coming huh-"
Shadow suddenly punched Sonic and the hedgehogs proceeded to attack each other with the iconic night city stage turning into Fourside since they were quite confused at being in a different nightly themed metropolis but didn't waste any time as to continue their brawl while the others watched in amazement.
"You're too slow!" Sonic taunted with him being brutally smashed by Shadow who responded "You're not even good enough to be my fake."
