Half an hour after the horde had arrived, everyone began to tire out.
"It just doesn't end!" said a guy from on top of the wall over the sound of gunshots as everyone kept shooting the walkers.
"If this keeps up there will be a mountain of corpses for them to run up!" said a girl who was leaning over the wall and shooting down at those that were close to the wall.
"What should we do, Clark?!" asked Zeek while sniping some of the walkers that were in the back of the horde.
"The only thing we can do, we'll use our last resort," said Clark. He then opened the case and pulled out a small canister, pulling a pin before throwing it into the middle of the horde.
"What is that?" asked Suzie as she watched a pink gas pouring out where the canister had landed.
"Something I hope that does more good than not," said a nervous Clark. Reassurance soon came to him when the zombies around the smoke began to collapse and stop moving all together.
"Quickly, toss these into the horde!" he said while giving some canisters to Suzie and Zeek.
"Why weren't we using these before?!" asked Zeek while tossing one.
"Focus for now and we can talk later!" said Clark as he tossed another. Later, after everything had settled down, Clark and a few others had gone out to check on the corpses.
"It's going to take some time to clean all of this up," said Zeek while nudging a former walker with his gun's riffle to make sure it wouldn't move.
"Take them to the ravine in the west, we can burn them there," said Clark.
"Okay," said Zeek. Suddenly, one of the fighters fell to the ground.
"Are you alright?" asked Suzie who stopped to check on her.
"I… I don't…," is all the girl could say before coughing up a black liquid. Everyone else soon joined her, collapsing all around.
"What.. what have I done?" asked Clark who had the strange liquid running out his nose before everything went dark.
