Author's notes- Hey guys, trying to actually keep to a posting schedule. I knowI said I would to get an episode per a chapter. However, I broke that rule already. Writing and actually posting a story has opened my eyes to how hard this all actually is. Of course I never thought it was easy to begin with. Hopefully you all will still enjoy the story. As for the guest who left the titan suggestions, I found the idea very interesting. Thank you for the recommendation and review. Now, please enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 7- Homecoming
Lok was sitting comfortably in the leather interior of the private jet. One of the many perks of working for the organization. He was leaning back in his chair, the rare occasion of not needing to wear his sunglasses. Ever since he left Prague, he noticed something. His headaches were slowly going away.
The situation was a pleasant surprise, although he wasn't much for surprises. The thing is, he hadn't noticed anything he had done differently. He woke up early, did his morning routine, and even his diet hadn't changed. The only thing that was different was the fact he had actually gotten sleep for a change.
Instead of the burning house, or the giant spider monster. He had a dream of strawberry blonde hair. Two orbs of green glaring at him in hateful spite, maybe even primal longing if he stared hard enough at them. Or at least that is what he told himself to spite the orbs.
At the thought of his dream, his right hand gently raised to his lips. His gloves resting safely in his back pocket. He ran his finger tips over his lips, imagining the warm sensation of her lips on his own. He then reached up and gently rubbed the bridge of his nose. Problem girl had a hard head, at the thought he let a small chuckle escape his lips.
Dante's make shift team was an interesting group. First off, there was the legendary Dante Vale. His thoughts of the red head was at first, hatred. However, after having a chance to reflect with a cooler head. He couldn't help but respect the man's skill.
Sophie Casterwill, an intriguing case. Orphaned at a young age. She has grown up with the best tutors, the finest of food, and of course. Seeker training, she was definitely smart. Almost too smart for her own good, if the soreness of his nose was anything to go off of.
Then last is Cathy Lambert, what was once a civilian now seeker. Not only did she show signs of powers. If Owen's report was correct. She also summoned a titan, which is a pretty amazing feat on its own. He himself wasn't able to summon his first titan until he was at least thirteen. Three years after he started training.
There is also the fact she claimed that he was her long lost brother. That little piece of information was perplexing. While the resemblance was uncanny, he had a whole life growing up with his father and his, his, wait his mother.
"ugh" Lok's hands shot to the sides of his head. His fingers running into hair. He let out an a sharp hiss, his train of thought imploding off the rails. He felt as if a power drill was drilling into the center of his forehead. After a few brief moments it disappeared.
He hunched himself in his seat. His hand reached under his sunglasses. He gently began to rub his eyes, gently rubbing away the after pain. He was confused, what had brought that on ? He was thinking about something and then the pain came from no where. What was he thinking about ?
Leaning back in his chair, he let out a deep sigh. He was trying so hard to remember what he was thinking about. He felt as if a piece of his thoughts had suddenly disappeared. How long have they been flying ? Where were they flying again ? Oh yes home.
At the thought of it, a devilish grin came to his face. Yes, the Huntik team will be in for a big surprise. He will make sure to have a warm welcoming party for Dante and his team. Especially for the ever so lovely trouble girl.
Cathy couldn't help but be excited, she was going to Prague. She had never been, and one step closer to finding out what happened to her dad and her brother. Cathy shifted in her seat, a rather comfortable seat at that.
The perk of Sophie paying for expenses, it wasn't first class. However, she did pick a rather popular airline. Where standard felt like first class. She was proud of herself at how well she had taken to her new life. Not only had she used Boltflare for the first time. She was also able to summon her new friend Freelancer.
At the thought of her titan, she reached up and gently pressed her finger tips on the amulet of said titan. When she had summoned Freelancer, she felt of rush of power. Plus the sensation of the bond, as Dante had called it. Was another thing all together, she felt like she was safe. That as long as she had Freelancer, she could take on the world.
Reaching into her personal bag she pulled out the journal her dad had wrote. Flipping through the pages, she looked over the passage her dad wrote. The secret of the amulet of will sleeps with the golem. Now whether it's the golem of Prague or not is what they were going to find out.
Despite how she was feeling, the thing that brought her to reality was the fact that the very city they were heading to was the home of the Organization. The home of the people that not only trashed her apartment, but also who almost killed her and her new teammates. Not to mention the ones who may have kidnapped her brother. The only thing she couldn't think of was why? Why her brother ?
Before she could continue her train of thought, she looked around her surroundings and realized everyone was exiting the plane. Quickly gathering her things she made her way of the plane. Nothing was going to stop her from getting her answers and solving these mysteries.
She retrieved her luggage along with her team, and quickly made their way to the hotel. According to Dante, it was one of the only few Huntik Foundation locations in all of Prague. Although Dante assured it was safe, it still wasn't over all comforting.
Dante and company found themselves sitting at the main table of their hotel room. A small laptop looking device sitting in the center of said table. "So what did you call this thing again? A holotome ?" Cathy asked Sophie, as she opened the laptop like device.
Sophie responded with a nod of her head. "Yes, the holotome is used for a variety of different things." She opened the device and pushed a few buttons as the tome came to life. Sophie spun it around to face Cathy. "You can use it to plan missions, scan rooms, items, and even titans."
Cathy's eyes lit up at the news of scanning titans. She looked over to the holotomes owner Dante. "Dante, would you mind if I tried it out ?" She asked as she took off Freelancers amulet and held it out a bit.
Dante gave her an encouraging nod, a small smile taking over his face. "Go right ahead, it's loaded with all the information the Huntik Foundation has on titans. Not too shabby for a mix of magic and science."
Cathy held the amulet over what she would assume to be the scanner part of the device. She held her breath as a small green grid ran over Freelancers amulet. After a moment a soft ping came from the device as a small holographic image of Freelancer appeared.
Freelancer- Attack- 3 Defense-3

The soft tone of a female voice came from the holotome, announcing the information displayed. However, at the mention of draco titan she tilted her head. "Draco titan ?" She asked out loud. Knowing that one of the two other people in the room would answer her question.
Dante nodded as he placed his arm over the back of the chair he was sitting on, giving his undivided attention to Cathy. "Titans come in nine categories, each having the same subclass of titan." He reached in his coat and pulled out his Caliban amulet. "Caliban is a Meso-titan, titans like Freelancer and Sabriel are Draco-titans."
Sophie pulled out her Sabriels amulet at the mentioning of the titan. She held it up to show it off the Cathy. "Swara-titans like Redcap and Mind drone are used primarily by the organization. However, a variety of titans are used by a variety of seekers."
Cathy nodded her head, processing all of this new information. "So Draco-titans, Meso-titans, and Swara-titans. That's three, what are the other six ?" She asked as she pulled out her dad's amulet. Or her amulet now, as it had already bonded with her. She placed it over the scanner.
kipperin

Special Ability- Flight
A holographic image of a small winked creature appeared. It had white mohawk on top of its head. Its face appeared to be round, two big round red eyes, and instead of limbs it appeared to have three slender tendrils appearing almost like tails. "Gaia-titan, so that's four." Cathy stated cheerfully.
"The other ones are Litho-titans, Hecto-titans, Krono-titans, and yama-titans." Date stated, as his titan Soulwing flew on his shoulder. He reached up and gently rubbed its bottom peak. The titan merely tilted its head into the touch. Its eyes closed enjoying the attention.
Cathy wanted to ask how long Soulwing had been invoked until she stopped. She counted the types of titans in her head. "Wait that's only eight, what's the ninth?"
At the mentioning of the forgotten class of titan, Dante's eyes narrowed ever so slightly. The temperature of the room seemed to have dropped a few degrees. He almost appeared saddened by the thought. However, he quickly sobered himself. "The last class of titan. The most powerful of all. Legendary titans."
As soon as the words left his lips, a Recap came crashing out of the bathroom of the hotel room, as another busted out of the wardrobe that was sitting to the far left wall. As if Dante was expecting this very thing. He quickly shot a spell at the Redcap that came from the bathroom. "Raypulse!"
The pulse of energy made quick contact to the red visor of the Redcap, knocking it off its feet and slamming its spine into the broken doorframe. Soulwing quickly flying from his shoulder and using its talons to dig into the head and hair of the formerly closeted Redcap.
A loud crash came from their bedroom door, as a three suits came charging into the room. Sophie reacted quickly as she shot away from her spot at the table and shot her hand in their direction. "Boltflare!" The orb of energy making direct contact into the center of the chest of the suit in the middle.
Cathy jumped a cross the table grabbing the holotome on her way. Using the table as make shift cover as two spells of augerfrost slammed into the back of it. "How did they even get in here?" Screamed out to her two team mates. Who were currently engaged into hand to hand combat with the suits.
Suddenly her cover was knocked to the side, turning around to see what happened to her cover. She saw the same blonde suited man from Italy, his tie and front of his button up burned from Sophie's boltflare.
Cathy pushed her self back with her left hand, holding the holorome to her chest with the right. The blonde suit only grinned as he made his way after her. In a brief moment of clarity, she held her left hand out to his face. "Boltflare!" She called out, as the weaker version of the spell launched from her hand and made contact into the man's face.
The man's head shot back as a small cloud of black smoke simmered off his face. His head slowly looked back down to her. His glasses were destroyed, soot covered the man's face. Looking closely, his eyes brows were almost completely gone.
Despite the situation she way in, Cathy couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Apparently, that was the wrong choice to make. As the blonde suit merely growled and help up his hand. As a small blue orb of energy began to build in his right hand. "Would it be too late to say sorry ?"
Cathy gave her best smile as she could, hoping the attempt of humor would calm her nerves. It most certainly did not. Before the suit could unleash his furry, a women's voice broke through the sounds of fighting.
"Strix!" All of a sudden, two small red balls of energy slammed through the two Redcaps, immediately dismissing the titans back to their amulets. Taking the distraction, Cathy shot up her foot and kicked the suit in the gut. "Hyperstride!" Cathy yelled out as a blue glow enveloped her leg, using the extra power she sent the blonde suit through the broken door way. Helping him with his exit from their room.
Realizing the two suits were now severely out matched and out numbered, they quickly disengaged from Sophie and Dante. Making a quick exit, using the same door way as their friend had ejected out off.
As things finally seemed to calm down, Cathy took the time to acknowledged the new person in the room. She appeared to be a little bit older than her self. Long blue hair that ran to the upper part of her back. Green long sleeved low cut shirt, showing her shoulders and the fact she was wearing a mesh tank top undershirt. Dark blue pants that hugged her lower body, yet still looked flexible to move in. A pair of black boots with a little bit of heel to them. However, what caught her attention the most was her dark brown eyes.
Cathy almost had to do a double take, her eyes appeared dark. Almost appearing bored, uninterested, as if this was all just a chore. It's was almost of carbon copy of the eyes her brother had. Just the color was different, instead of a dead blue. Her eyes were shady brown.
"So, you're Zhalia Moon. The lone wolf of the Huntik Foundation." Dante approached the new seeker in question. His face was friendly, however his body was still giving off a sense of caution. She just simply crossed her arms and I let out a small hmph, looking unimpressed.
After the group grab their essentials and left the hotel room. They stopped outside the hotel grounds to touch base. Cathy set against the wall surrounding the hotel, finally taking a moment to let the adrenaline leave her body.
Zhalia looked at Cathy, not impressed in the slightest. However, she didn't state what was on her mind. As she looked back at Sophie and Dante. "I was in the area, figured you could use a hand." Her voice even and cool. Giving a little bit of bite to the chilly air.
"Well we appreciate the helping hand." Dante stated, turning to his team. "This is Sophie Casterwill, and Cathy Lambert." Introducing his team. Cathy gave her a smile and a wave. Sophie on the other hand crossed her arms, matching the unimpressed look of Zhalia.
"This is Zhalia Moon, if I remember correctly she is a up and comer in the Huntik Foundation." Date said as he gave a quick glance to Sophie, not missing the fact she look a little upset towards the older woman. However, he chose to ignore it.
"I'm an independent agent, just like Dante. Good thing I was around. Those suits seemed to have gotten the drop on you." She stated matter of factly. Arms crossing again. Hearing that statement, Cathy couldn't help but state her thoughts aloud.
"That's what I'm wondering about, according to Dante this is one of the few foot holds the Huntik Foundation has in Prague." Cathy said, she didn't state the question she wanted to tack on the end of her statement.
"So you are thinking there is a spy in the Huntik Foundation?" Date said, his tone was calm and collected. However, his body language was another story. Seemed the idea had him on edge.
"well you heard of the Professor?" Zhalia asked, leaning against the wall next to Cathy. "He is rumored to have powerful amulet, access to powerful spells, and curses. Some say he can even control minds."
At the mentioning of mind control Cathy's eyes shot up. Then as if a sudden burst of energy hit her she shot to her feet. "Mind control !" Her cheeks began to heat up as everyone had looked at her.
"Mind control, I uh mean. My brother. I know it's him. It's just he doesn't recognize me at all." She retreated back into her self. Feeling like she may or may not have had said something foolish.
Dante placed a hand on his chin. Deep in thought, bouncing the idea around in his head. He let out a simple hum. "Well, it's not that far of a reach." He placed his hands back into his pockets. "That's just rumors any how, we will keep the idea open. For now, we have work today."
Zhalia's eyes shot towards Cathy, a small grin came to her lips. So faint no one else seemed to have noticed. She quickly pressed her lips back into her scowl. "Well, you all have fun with that. I have things to attend to. I'll see you all around." She claimed as she began to make her way away from the group.
Lok was leaning back into a chair at what the suits called their break room, at the local HQ. It wasn't anything special, couple of couches. A wooden round table in the center. However the Professor had given them a good budget. So that was a plus, but the suits all brought a little something to make it feel more personalized. Lok's contribution to the room was a chess set. Many of arguments and bets have been made and settled on the old wooden battleground of strategy.
Owen and Vince were currently settling an argument, the two had gotten into a fight about something. Lok didn't really pay much attention. Those two would break out in a fight over any little thing. Which favorite color was better, whose team was better, which wine was better, red or white. That one had gotten the whole base into a puedo war.
It seems that this time, Owen was on the losing end. Vince was lording over him, a cocky grin oozing the room full of his bravado. Jenna came into the break room, and immediately took notice of the game in the center of the room. Rolling her eyes she made her way over to Lok. Swiftly leaning against the wall next to the blonde. "So, what's the fight about this time ?"
Lok merely shrugged his shoulders. A deep sigh escaping his lips. "I honestly can't remember. With them however, I'm sure they are just looking for an excuse at this point."
Jenna let out a small snort, as she gently shook her head. "Well, sounds about right." She gently tilted her head to the side. Getting a better look at the chessboard, she couldn't help but get a little bit pale. "Well he is screwed." Realizing how poorly the game was going for Owen.
At the mentioning of the game. A phone suddenly went off. All eyes went to Vince, as he reached into his jacket pocket. Pulling out a small flip phone, he glanced at the number and flipped it open. "Hey sweetness, no I'm not busy." Vince spun around to focus on his phone call.
As soon Vince spun around, Owen immediately turned towards Lok. His hands slapped together in a praying motion. He bowed his head and locked his fingers together shaking them towards Lok. Pleading for the puzzle master to save him.
Lok responded with a frown, his arms crossed his chests and he made an effort to look more relaxed. Make it worth my time. He signed to him with the body language that has been forged between best friends.
Owen let out a silent gasp, as if the mere action was shocking. Realizing Lok wouldn't take the bait, he placed his hand on his chin. Before rubbing his fingers together, offering money.
Lok rolled his eyes in response, as he began to focus on a spot on the far left wall. Finding it rather interesting, a small grin forming on his lips. Hearing Owen's gasp, he turned his head back to him. Noticing that Owen was moving his hands around like he was solving a cube. Now he was talking.
Lok held up two fingers, indicating that the price of this favor was two puzzle boxes. Lok doesn't go cheap on the boxes ether. Owen of course knew this as a look of horror struck his face. Giving him a helpless look, he raised a single finger back to Lok.
The younger man frowned as a third finger came up, at the sight of that. Owen immediately put up a second finger. Agreeing to the unspoken contract, praying that Lok would help him.
Nodding, Lok stood from his chair and made his way over to the chessboard. Vince still oblivious to the unspoken conversation that was taking place behind him. "I mean I can make the reservation after I get done with work, you and I. A nice little bottle of white wine." Vince said smoothly.
Seeing that Vince was paying any attention to the game, Lok reached into his vest and pulled out his sunglasses. He placed them on the edge of his nose as he glanced over the bored.
While he did Owen reached into his suit jacket and pulled out his own sunglasses and copied the motion Lok did. Lok nodded as he began to give Owen hand signals, made up between the two when they were back in training of course. Pushing up his glasses to rest properly on his face, the universal sign of did you get that ?
Owen smiled devilishly as he pushed his glasses up. With a nod between the two Lok made his way back to his seat. Arms crossed thinking about what kind of puzzle boxes to order. "Okay sweetness, I'll see you tonight." Vince stated has he hung up his cellphone.
"Now where were we?" Vince asked as his grin returned. Owen cracked his neck, confidence replenished as after a few moves Owen couldn't help but jump up claiming. "Checkmate!" Owen stated as he began to do a little dance. "Oh yeah, I'm the best. You suck!" Owen screamed to Vince.
Before anything else could be said, Tony came running into the room. A little bit out of breath, taking a few moments to catch his breath he stood proper as he called out. "Show time guys ! We move out in one hour."
With the sudden bit of news, everyone shot up and began to make their way out of the room. Until Owen was stopped by a peice of paper being held out in front of his face. "Your tab." Lok said playfully as he made his way out of the room.
Owen looked down at the paper, letting his jaw drop as a tear ran down his cheek. "I'm...I'm going to die in debt because of that kid." He cried out to himself softly.
Authors notes- Hey guys, sorry for being a week late. Lot of stuff been going on. But, I should be back on my regularschedule. I'm not going to lie, I got irritated while writing this chapter. It's a little bitin the shorter side. However, the next one should be longer. Plus a little bit more actionpacked. Also, Itriedsomethingdifferent, I cut out the location markers. Figured it was getting repetitive. So I tried to change it up, feel free to let me know which one you all prefer. I'llcatchyou guys in the next one. See ya !
