Jetray flies through the evading blasts of lighting before shifting to Big chill releasing a breath of cold air turning an incoming fist of clay to hard ice. Spidermonkey runs along a rooftop as explosions erupt below him. Gloop slides along the rooftop taking a fighting stance as Gwen and Kevin land beside him in front of Sasuke thrusted down his hand causing the building to shatter around them.

"hello verdona, what brings you here?" Max said as he smiled a bit at the woman
"oh don't be all business Max aren't you gonna introduce me?" Verdona asked as she looked at Naruto Gwen and Kevin who were getting out of the RV
"who's she Oji San?" Naruto asked as he looked at the old woman a bit weary as she had just shown up out of nowhere
"oji San? that's Japanese right? you earthlings and your multiple languages" Verdona said as she shook her head
"that's my godson Naruto Uzumaki" Max said as he introduced her to Naruto
"oh you're Kushi and Minato's boy! I had heard they had tied the knot, i should have known you have your dad's hair" Verdona said with a smile at Naruto
"this is Kevin a friend of Naruto's and this is Gwen my granddaughter-" Max was saying before he was cut off
"ah ha! I knew my senses weren't wrong! there's the little chip of the old block!" Verdona said with a bright smile as she approached Gwen and pulled her into a hug
"um thanks you know my grandfather?" Gwen asked as she let the older woman hug her
"i should say so, we had a child together more specifically your dad" Verdona said with a smile as she let go of Gwen
this got looks of surprise from Naruto Gwen and Kevin
"Y-you're my grandmother?" Gwen asked surprised at this
"Of course! What? You thought your talent was just random?" Verdona asked as she made some purple light appear in her palm getting a look of surprise from Gwen
"That explains a lot" Kevin said as he had been wondering how Gwen was able to have such talent with magic
"Wait so Gwen is part alien?" Naruto asked curiously as he took had been curious about how Gwen had been able to learn magic
"It's not as rare as you think sonny, lots of aliens have made their homes here and married humans here" Verdona said as she shrugged at this
"if we're going to chat I'll get us set up for the night and start on dinner" Max said as he headed for the RV
"no need, leave it to me" Verdona said as as she held up a hand and snapped her fingers which caused a flash of violet light to go off before the picnic table nearby was filled with all kinds of food
"yes! real food!" Kevin yelled as he ran over to the table excited
"thank god no grub worms" Naruto said as he approached the table and grabbed a bowl of ramen as they had been getting low on real food and the teens had been getting worried
"You can actually create food?" Gwen asked as she looked at Verdona with a look of slight awe
"It's quite a simple trick for us Anodites my dear we can warp reality on a whim if we want" Verdona said with a smile as she sat down at the picnic table
"I wonder of alien X could take her" Naruto muttered under his breath as he thought to himself a bit between gulps of his ramen
"Probably not considering anodites aren't just gonna give you time to convince your split personalities to make a move" Kevin said as he finished a slice of pizza
"So what brings you here Verdona? you don't exactly revisit planets you have been to often" Max said as he sat down at the picnic table
"Wait you don't?" Gwen asked curiously as she looked at her grandmother
"Us anodites are free spirited we go where we want and do what we want, vary rarely do we stay in one place for a extended amount of time" Verdona said as she shook her head
"So you're all space nomads?" Naruto asked curiously
this got a snort of laughter from Kevin while Gwen gave him a look of annoyance
"Ha! you have your mothers wit you know Kushi called me that too when we met?" Verdona asked as she smiled at this
"Good to know I have one of her less dangerous qualities" Naruto said as he frowned a bit as he thought about how he had found about his mother being from Apokolips
"Something wrong?" Verdona asked Gwen curiously taking note of this
"recently we found out that his mom is well…"Gwen was saying before she trailed off and frowned as she looked at Naruto
"ah bothered by the fact that you have Apokolips blood in you huh?" Verdona asked as she looked at Naruto
"Well yeah, you see I have been using the Omnitrix to be a hero and help people and now I find out that my mom used to conqueror planets for Darkseid, I'm not exactly happy that she kept this from me" Naruto said as he frowned a bit
"Yeah and? from what I recall your mom changed for the better after she crashed landed here and met your dad Verdona said as she looked at Naruto
"Well she kinda scared me when she rescued me on Apokolips, especially with how casual she was about killing people to save me" Naruto said as he thought about how his mother fought Steppenwolf
"Ahh, I see now, you are more of a pure soul like your dad used to be back in the plumber days compared to your mother" Verdona said in realization
"Well yeah" Naruto said as he knew that morality wise he took after his dad
"Yea well, your mom taught him a little fact of life, sometimes you have to get your hands bloody to save people, I recall Max and his plumbers having to take down some invaders for keeps back in the day right Max?" Verdona asked as she looked at Max
Max frowned at this before he nodded confirming her words
"I'm not saying that your mom's way is the best way but she can hold back when she has to, you just saw her when she was mad I mean she was trying to save you from Apokolips right?" Verdona asked as she looked at Naruto
Naruto nodded at this as he hadn't thought of this as he just assumed all his mother knew how to do was kill after seeing her fight Steppenwolf
"Good to know you have your dad's mind, now onto why I'm here" Verdona said as she looked at Gwen
"what? me?" Gwen asked as she pointed at herself
"exactly, you see I felt you tapping into your anodite power, once I saw you have the spark I decided to head here" Verdona said as she smiled at Gwen
"Oh cool, are you gonna teach her some of your tricks?" Naruto asked as he smiled at Gwen who smiled back as she liked this idea
"we're doomed" Kevin said with a groan at hearing this
"I'm gonna do more than that, I'm gonna take Gwen here off this planet so I can teach her everything I know, once you loose the human skin and a few centuries of training with me and you will be warping reality like a pro in no time" Verdona said with a smile at Gwen
this caused Naruto, Kevin and Max's eyes to widen in surprise more specifically Naruto's heart dropped hearing this
"W-what? you want me to just leave? What about school? my friends? my family?" Gwen asked surprised at this as she looked at her grandmother
it will take some adjusting but I'm sure you will get over it, your human emotions will fade with- Verdona was saying before she was cut off
"You can't have her" Naruto said firmly hugging Gwen close making her blush lightly
"Verdona you can't just come here and try to take her off the planet this is the only home she's ever had" Max said firmly as he stood up
"Oh come now Max she has so much potential she would just be wasting it here playing hero" Verdona said as she waved her hand dismissively
"Playing? You think I'm playing… You know I'm starting to think I know why my dad never talked about you" Gwen said firmly
Verdona paused at this before her eyes narrowed and started to glow purple
"Oh boy" Kevin said as he ducked peeking at the group in fear
suddenly a flash of light went off as Naruto Kevin and Max was sent flying and slammed into the rustbucket
"Let me go!" Gwen yelled at the now fully anodite Verdona as purple energy forced her against a tree to keep her in place
"we are leaving now, don't give me any more trouble" Verdona said as she approached Gwen
"hey!" Naruto yelled as he got up and yelled at the ailen and grabbed the Omnitrix ready to activate it
"I don't make it a point to start fights seeing as they are boring so stand down I don't want to hurt Kushi's boy" Verdona said as she looked at Naruto
"surprising considering that sounds like a human emotion to me" Naruto said as he glared at Verdona
Verdona's eyes narrowed at this dig at her before she raised her hands
Naruto quickly slammed his palm down on the Omnitrix causing a green flash to go off
Naruto was circled by his alien forms with one shooting into him, Naruto watched as his skin suddenly began turning green and transparent revealing his skeleton as both slowly began melting into a pile of green slime a small saucer like object floated above causing it to slowly reform into a humanoid form.
"woah this one is weird" Naruto's voice said coming out of the new alien
"a polymorph? interesting choice" Verdona said before she fired a blast at Naruto who quickly maneuvered around the blast which blew up a tree nearby
"Think I'll go with Goop for this one, ok ba-chan let's see if this one can keep up with you" Goop said as he looked at Verdona with a look of determination on its face as Kevin walked over to his side while grabbing the Rustbucket and covering himself with metal ready to help him
Gwen continued to try and free herself from her grandmother's magic bindings while the fight started
Goop shot out several slimy tendrils ensnaring Verdona as Kevin smashed a fist into the ground throwing several large rocks at the energy being striking her hard and fast.
Verdona unleashed a wave of energy pushing both back scattering gloop in all directions.
Kevin yanked a tree from the ground and threw it towards Verdona, she simply held out her hand stopping the tree in mid air before sending it right back towards Kevin smashing him into the ground.
Goop reformed himself lunging at Verdona but was quickly met by a power barrier splattering him on impact.
Verdona lifted her hands covering both boys in her violet aura lifting them off the ground before twirling her finger causing them to spin around and in an ever growing rapid pace as they both screamed
"Verdona enough! you don't need to do this!" Max said as he approached the alien woman to try and hopefully have her see reason
"I didn't start this" Verdona said as she let the aura fall causing Kevin to fall to the ground covered in Goop
"The hell you didn't!" Goop yelled as he reformed off of Kevin but before he could attack he stumbled and fell from being dizzy
"nice job oh great leader" Kevin said with a groan before he too fell over
"are we done here? If so me and Gwen will be leaving" Verdona said as she looked at Naruto and Kevin unimpressed
"You are not leaving this planet with her at all-" Goop said but before he could attack the Omnitrix symbol on him started going off before a flash of red light engulfed him turning him back into Naruto
"Oh jeez hey!" Naruto was saying before Verdona grabbed him with some mana and slammed him against another tree making him groan in pain
"leave him alone!" Gwen yelled as her eyes flashed violet and the mana holding her started to crack
"Now as I-" Verdona grunted as she got hit by a rock as Naruto slowly picked himself up, holding rocks in his hand
"I don't care… who you think you are, you aren't taking her" Naruto said firmly
"You have your mother and fathers never quit attitude but you aren't capable of fighting back and you don't have any more help so stay down before I make you" Verdona said with a firm tone
"Make me, hag" Naruto said as he glared at her
"hag?! you little-" Verdona yelled as mana glowed around her before a blast of magic slammed into her from behind
"he has help now like he said already back off!" Gwen yelled as she flew at Verdona and did a spin kick at her face which the alien blocked with her arm and a mana shield I'm front of it
"Don't get ahead of yourself your just learning how to-" Verdona was saying before Gwen's leg glowed violet and smashed through her shield and smashed into her face sending her flying back a bit
"Woah, since when can you do that?" Naruto asked as he looked at Gwen
"Since I watched my grandmother make fools out of you, gave me some ideas now let's do this" Gwen said as she made some mana appear in her hands as she glared at Verdona who was getting up
"Right Kevin you ready to do this?" Naruto asked his friend
"Little busy here" Kevin said with a groan as he was hunched over after throwing up the food he ate after being made dizzy by Verdona
"Right please give me a good one" Naruto said as he grabbed the recharged Omnitrix and entered in a new code before he slammed it down and was engulfed in a green light
Naruto was circled by his aliens with one shooting into him, Naruto's body began bulking up as light yellowish green shell shell like arm began forming over his arms and legs his shirt tore apart as a large turtle shell sprung him his back his hands became fin like as three triangular funnels formed in his chest his pure white eyes opened revealing what looked like an alien turtle as he retracted into his shell floating through the air
"Whoa...Baby Gamera!" The turtle alien laughed as he looked around a bit
"...uh-oh." verdona said taken aback at this alien
"A Geochelone Aerios!" Max exclaimed in surprise
"A what?" Kevin asked as he hadn't heard of this species
"A rare alien species, and one of the few species that can't be affected by Mana." Max said as he smirked
"Is that so?" The alien smirked as Verdona gave a deep gulp
"Oh bother..." Verdona said thrusting her hands at Gwen who blocked it with a wave of her own before rushing at her grandmother kicking her square in the stomach, she followed with a side kick to the face with a hard spin kick pushing her further she grabbed ahold of the elder Tennyson throwing her down hard to the ground.
"Oof...I think Max was right about me relying on my mana powers too much." Verdona groaned rubbing her head when she saw something coming her way spinning like mad
"Uh-oh!" Verdona quickly took off with the spinning alien turtle giving chase through the sky.
Verdona held up her arms as she was blasted by a mini tornado pushing her down near the ground level near Gwen who came charging towards her
"Here's a little trick I picked up from Harley Quinn." Gwen said, forming a large hammer in her hands and smashing it dead into her grandmother knocking her square into a nearby tree.
"Whoo what a rush! I think I'll call this one Terraspin!" the turtle alien said with a grin at this
"You give up yet?" Gwen asked as she held up her mana hammer construct ready to take another swing at her grandmother if she made a stupid move
"Enough!" Verdona yelled as she unleashed a massive wave of mana and sent Gwen flying but she was caught by terrapin who wasn't affected
before Verdona could make another move however her path was blocked by Max "Get out of my way" Max she said with a firm tone
"Verdona stop this, do you really want to keep fighting your own granddaughter and godson?" Max asked the alien woman
"ah hell she's technically my Godmother?" Terraspin asked as his eyes widened in realization before his Omnitrix symbol went off and he turned back into Naruto
"God son? Kushi made me his God parent?" Verdona asked stopping at this as she had recalled hearing this term years ago while on earth
"yes she made us both his Godparents now calm down and think, you don't need to take Gwen away from earth to teach her" Max said as Verdona turned back to her human form
"it's how our people are supposed to do it" Verdona said as she crossed her arms
"That's what made you such a bit- yow!" Naruto asked before a blast of mana was thrown at him which he ducked to avoid
"watch it! I may be a cool Granny but I'll still give you a whipping!" Verdona said as she lightly glared at Naruto
"OK ok watch the mana blasts Ba-chan" Naruto said as he patted his hair to make sure it wasn't burned
this got groans from Max and Gwen as they knew what this meant.
"that's better, Kushi used to call me that after she learned Japanese from Minato, never found out what it ment though" Verdona said with a nod at Naruto
Naruto snickered at this before Gwen gave him a look that said: you're a idiot
"Does this mean you're gonna let Gwen stay on earth?" Kevin asked as he stood up after recovering from being dizzy
"well considering she's only a quarter anodite technically it wouldn't be breaking any tradition would it?" Naruto asked curiously
"…..heh good point I'll pass that on to other anodites who have relatives out there that may have some talent with Mana" Verdona said with a chuckle at this
"glad to see you can be reasonable" Max said with a smile
"well despite my best efforts I must admit earth has had some effect on me, plus I don't have it in me to fight both my granddaughter and godson not seriously anyway" Verdona said as she waved her hand dismissively
"Wait that was you holding back?" Gwen asked her eyes widening at this
"you bet, and don't think your little turtle form would have been enough kiddo, there are ways around that" Verdona said with a nod at Gwen before she looked at Naruto
Naruto crossed his arms and grumbled a bit at this
"anyway I have obviously overstayed my welcome so I'll be saying my goodbyes" Verdona said as she walked away from the group
"wait! your just going to leave?" Gwen said as she went to follow
"it's how her people are" Max said with a sigh at this
"damn nomads, gah! ok ok!" Naruto grumbled under his breath before a zap of mana zapped him in the side
verdona smirked at this before she looked at Gwen before she waved her hand and manifested what looked like a very well made hardcover grimoire whose cover was violet, "Here this should help you with your training with Mana and I'll be checking in with both of you every now and then" Verdona said as she handed Gwen her gift
Gwen took the Grimoire and smiled before she hugged Verdona in thanks
Verdona smiled at this before she hugged her back before they separated "ok whiskers seeing as your my godson I suppose you will want a gift too?" she asked as she turned to Naruto
"Nah I'm good I got two new aliens out of fighting you so i'll settle for a hug Ba-chan Naruto said with a smile as he approached and hugged Verdona
Verdona laughed at this as she hugged him back before she separated from him "see you soon you two" she said with a smile before she turned back into her full anodite form and took off into the sky
"Well it's nice to know we all have crazy family drama now" Naruto said with a grin at Gwen
"Hey mine is stable compared to yours whiskers Gwen said with her own grin as they all approached the rustbucket to leave
"So um… thanks for fighting so hard to keep me here." Gwen said with a smile as she fiddled with her hair while they sat in the back while Max drove
"it's no problem Gwen I mean you have been here since I started this whole thing and I don't know what I would do is you weren't here" Naruto said as he lightly blushed at the praise
Gwen smiled at this glad that Naruto valued her so much

outside earth's atmosphere Verdona was looking at earth for a bit and looking at a mana projection of what looked like a teenage girl with slightly pale skin who had pink hair who had It styled into horns who was throwing what looked like bad luck hexs at some cops who were pursuing her
"well well another one with the spark, hmmmmmm she seems to have a handle on her talents for now so I'll just leave her to it, better to leave before that lantern in this sector shows up to give me the business" Verdona said as she looked at the nearby JL watchtower before she made the image of the teen girl disappear
not noticing her meeting what looked like a swarm of rats led by Cleo and Sasuke who was smiling at her and holding out hisbhand to her offering his help
